A very lively loud and very crowded market where one can find nearly anything, esp, food, spices, clothes, leather goods (incl. well made fake luxury brands). Fresh meat and fish are sold too, sometimes connected to a small eatery (seated or standing). Eateries are very crowded, loud and ventilators are blowing you away or provide fresh air (depending on how one can appreciate such kind of air blowing). If one appreciates a little less noise and crowd I can advise to take a side street and find a cosy place to eat or drink.

In general, this is a beautiful place. I was in Sukkot, so there were a lot of people. I saw a variety of food for everybody, some stores, places to drink, and sweets. I want to come back in calmer days.

Small market, 3 blocks along Levinski Street.
Not that clean, pretty crowded.
Some seating on the street.

Was on my way to Jerusalem beach and stumbled by this market! Was lovely to go past it and acknowledge this place to possibly come by again in the future! Filled with hundred of scents flavours clothes accessories toys and all you need! Beautiful place to meet people to shop and to wonder! Would definitely actually stop by here and wonder the shops rather than be on my way to somewhere else on another day I'm free!

The Carmel Market (the Shuk HaCarmel) is the largest market – or shuk – in Tel Aviv. It’s a vibrant marketplace where traders sell everything from clothing and spices, to fruit and electronics. Visiting the Carmel Market is a fascinating thing to do in Tel Aviv. The bustling atmosphere, lively colors, and reputation as the largest shuk in Tel Aviv, all combine to make the Carmel Market a favorite.
Lots of good culinary options. Range of gourmet food stalls and restaurants. Great atmosphere and delicious offerings. A must-visit for anyone exploring Tel Aviv.

So many food options under one roof, it reminded me of the Chelsea Market in New York. Gelato at Otello was really good, the market is less than 10 min walk from Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

So I had some time to kill in the morning before my flight home so I joined friends for a walk through this area and had a great time seeing all the stands from candy to house hold items. You can do all your shopping here. The sights, sounds and smell of bread and cooking is wonderful.

I would not call it a market place. It’s more food court with some small shops.
It’s thought for tourists. It’s a fancy food court.
There re different entrances. Anyway from the street you need to go 🆙.

What I liked that we were in a building but it was very bright.

Different great 👍🏻 sellers who wants to sell you something but still professional.
Some of them not really.
Definitely if you are a girl, guys would like to speak with you.
Don’t hesitate to try everything and if you like you buy.
To negotiate is Normal. Also kids negotiate

City’s best markets are located here. It’s cheaper as well as quality products at the same time we can bargain in some shops. It’s located at the heart of the city. It has specimen of Tel Aviv

Unique place to visit when in Tel Aviv for sure. Options of spices, fruits and souvenirs to buy. Messy, crowded, but just as a good market is.

Popular places for nearby residents and people working in those high rise buildings. There are salads, burgers, Asian noodles, pizza, pasta, fries, dessert, etc. You can go to the grocery store getting fresh fruit and veggies as well. Many have a kiosk in front with English menus, which makes it easier for tourists to poke around. The food tastes beyond my expectations. Aloha poke bowl is very good 😊
An excellent meat and fish shops

One of the best places to visit in Tel Aviv, many small shops, bakeries, coffee, food, a unique vibrant market that spread on a few streets, very popular with the locals.
One smaller street with shops that predominantly sells nuts and dry fruits, spices and olives. In the side streets there are shops with canned and packed goods. I’ve been shopping here for years.
There’s lots of cool spice shops. Most of them have similar selection, but it’s just nice to walk around the neighborhood. The "shuk" is a collection of streets with open fronts stores mostly offering spices, nuts, restaurants, sweets etc.
There are too many to list in a single review and I hope that the photos will provide a flavourful of the place.
It’s a chef and foodie’s paradise and one of the reasons we wanted to spend time in Tel Aviv. Stroll down the street and check it all out - outstanding area for food🤗🤗
Is a beautiful place but they do tent to take advantage of turists, always negóciate the prices

Very nice air-conditioned market. Food variety were aplenty. Perfect place for a hot day to come for lunch/drinks and to do some quick shopping

It is conveniently located to Tel Aviv’s train station, and there are major shopping malls nearby as well. There are a lot of parking options around the office buildings (though they are a little bit pricy)

This is a must go place for visitors to tel aviv, you have all the Israel food and western cuisine in one place. A good place to dine and experience the food culture of israel and try a wide variety of foods. Like the idea that it's not a restaurant type but with the little food stalls selling their stuff. The price here are cheaper than most of the restaurant there.
I like the chicken 🐔 shop that sell roast chicken to spicy wings. There is a seafood stall too and you can select your choice of seafood. There is A vegetarian food and dessert stall as well.
Some of the pictures to wet your appetite.

A wide variety of stalls selling fresh fruits, souvenirs, clothing, pastries, baklava etc. Be careful about prices, as some vendors tried to overcharge us, or they add a few extras and charge you a higher price.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

A market is marked all over the world.
Fresh on the spot juice from a variety of fruits.

Market with sellers trying to get you to pay overprice for copy products like Nike, puma, Hugo Boss etc.
Lots of cheap souvenirs from Israel.
Some sellers can be very invasive

Most prices can be dropped with a little bit of bargaining, Most shops sell the same at all different prices.

Plenty of Mediterranean food which is delicious.
Contrary to everyone's opinion and the way it looks like when you first arrive, I didn't like it. Yes - great first impression. Good visuals, nice presentation, seems like there is a lot to pick from, but - there isn't. It's extremely expensive and the food is pretty much the same as any street market. I'd rather visit the old city. It's fine if you're near it, and if you can find it, because of constructions and misleading location markers, but don't expect too much and maybe you'll like it better. I expected more variety. Maybe some places were just closed, I don't know. I only had a craft beer that nobody cared to tell me the name of, it was very good.

I came there at Shabbat Time , so all the shops close. But some small bars and restaurants open, it seems very interesting to find places for beer and fun.
Amazing food, a lot of different options

Cool little place with random stores selling clothes from major brands at reduced prices, old stock I suppose. Picked up a belt at 80% off the sticker price. Happy days!

After the erection of an adjacent residential complex, the market has changed drastically. By and large, in terms of assortment, there is nothing left but new/used clothes and kitchen utensils. Yet, the stores along King George street are intact, plus a few new food options appeared in a residential complex. Presumably, the market could regain popularity after stand-alone buildings are upgraded, yet, developers have just started on this path.

Fantastic place to shop, eat and people-watch.

I’ve been shopping here for years. There’s lots of cool spice shops. Most of them have similar selection, but it’s just nice to walk around the neighborhood.

Recently the city turned some of the streets into open sidewalks. And a lot of new restaurants and coffee shops have sprouted and put tables right on the street.

There is also lots of specialty shops, ethnic restaurants and party decoration stores.

The only drawbacks I have experienced is that aren’t enough places to chain your bicycle to and also the streets can get pretty grimy and dirty. Fridays the neighborhood is packed, so I recommend parking outside the “shook” area and then walk or cycle to it.

All in all - a very pleasant experience.

Cheap clothes produced in Gaza district. The most of examples looks boring to me but occasionally interesting design solutions could be found there. For an example this skirt, I guess it was inspired by "the dragon ball" anime 😅

A large market that has undergone a facelift in recent years has taken a beautiful shape, walking around there feeling like in the sand, the place is very clean, parking around for free. Fruit and vegetable market and meat and spices can be found here everything, even restaurants. A particularly busy weekend.

Several nice restaurants in the street to enjoy too. If you are looking for a less stressed shopping in comparison to the bigger markets this is great place. The atmosphere is relaxed and very local.

Maybe not the "best"of neighborhoods but whenever I go there, I love it.
I've eaten BBQ kabobs at night in small unnamed restaurants and been the on a Friday afternoon when things were fun and crazy.
Prices were high for a shouk but worth it for the experience. People are lovely and it's not as cramped as other shouks in Israel either. I'm definitely going back there.

Gotta say - I really like HaTikvah Market. It still feels very authentic and not touristy. The produce is very good, and it's a great place to hang out with your kids for a half hour and show them the ropes.

You can also get steals like Ice Drinks for 2 NIS, and the sellers are mostly very friendly to kids.
