Love this place! Nancy and staff are always so nice and knowledgeable ! I walk in and their smiles always brighten up my day, whether it was good or bad. Prices are very fair and selection is vast!!! If you can't find what you're looking for then god help you, bc they lirtetally have everything!! And what's the cherry on top? They DELIVER!! PEACE!

Great service and amazing choices of alcohol from large mainstream brand to small boutique craft spirits. Manager also very knowledgeable and verg friendly service

This CVS location is overall okay, not the best location that I've been to. The service is generally lacking and disappointing as I waste a lot of time waiting for an associate.

This is one of THE worst pharmacies on the island. Had me waiting an hour and a half just to leave out one of my prescriptions. Also neglected to tell me they were out of a medication. “They just didnt fill it”

Great selection alcohol relatively good prices

The head pharmacist at the 2690 Hylan Blvd store is dumb as a rock. I came in with a problem about a refill and she tells me she needs to order it. I waited and waited and came in and she tells me "oh, we can't get it anymore" - So why the hell did you tell me you could order it? You put my life in danger when I could have got the meds from another pharmacy. No apology or anything. If you ever get a prescription sent to this pharmacy, run!! This woman is BRAINDEAD.

Pharmacy is a farce.The rest of the store is slightly better.Prices are high,except for the occasional sale after a holiday.Good luck waiting for a locked up item,due to shoplifters.As with many chain stores ,if you need an item ,and have checked other places without success,then you'd give it a try.

The most stupidest thing when the WHOLE pharmacy closes for a half and hour. So many useless employees that apparently have to take lunch at the same time. The worst time management I have ever seen.

I would give zero stars if I could owner rude and potentially racist came in to buy a small bottle to disarono to try in a corona cause of the ticktock Trend was happy they had it was also going to look at the whiskeys on offer since I like to buy new whiskeys and try things came in and was immediately pressured to buy something and was harassed at my intentions for entering the store gave me attitude and accused me of only wanting to browse and eat a Ralph’s Ice and not buy anything I explained my intentions even though I had no reason to justify my reason for entering his store and was told he didn’t believe me meanwhile I’ve been coming here for years and have bought many box sets as gifts for friends and family for the holidays for years cause I like there selection. not sure who’s the guy behind the counter but I will never give my business to this place again I am truthfully appalled on how they treat customers I come to this plaza during my luck break and have frequented this location many times and have bought on many an occasion but they have lost a customer for life simply because of how they disrespected me guess my moneys not green enough for them I also dont usually go out of my way to write reviews but honestly never been treated this poorly when entering an establishment and thought it needed to be shared make sure you intend on buying something when coming here this place is higher pressure sales than a used car dealership

You or your employee were genuinely rude , nasty and insulting. basically ran me out of your store. I’ve been asked if I need help before in stores that was not it . You proceeded to preform a proper interrogation. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at your store over the years and honestly your actions were totally uncalled for don’t worry you obviously you don’t need my business or money good luck and learn how to treat your customers if you want to stay in business it’s a small island and word travels fast.

Just to pickup 2 photo prints they make you wait in regular line for purchases which has usually 10-15 people on any given day which takes forever because they are always short staffed!
And nasty employees!

The first time I got medicine here, this person greeted me. He spoke in a deadpan manner, looked unhappy, and was very rude. And I haven’t received the medicine after waiting for an hour. It’s really rubbish.

I use to work at this CVS when I use to have a summer job in 2014 and the staff treated us very nice. I sometimes browse and shop and they helped me out when I need something.

Great service, very patient. I don't know a lot about wine they took the time to explain everything to me. Much appreciated.

I was trying to find a niche liquor and called around to 10 different places and this was the only one that had it. When I went in to get it, I was really surprised by how wide of a selection they have. I'll be coming here from now on.

I cannot speak highly enough of Amboy Wines and Liquors. They saved the day to make a very special day even more special and so much better. Nick was absolutely great and worked with me! Very large selection and very pleasant!

Nick is very knowledgeable about Scotch and Bourbon.
Many of his suggestions have become regulars on my top shelf.

Honestly, there are quite a few liquor stores on the South Shore of Staten Island. Having said that, this liquor store on Amboy Rd. is nice because that particular area doesn’t have any liquor stores, it’s isolated, and he has a really nice selection. In addition, all three guys who work there are very personable. When you walk in, you’re always greeted with Hello and a smile. That’s why I continue to go there.

I decided to place an order online since i knew this liquor store as a local vendor. I paid for 2 day air. 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing about my shipment. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the times. I had emailed them and left a message at the store. No response. I called one more time and finally someone answered. I placed a new order great right!!!. No. I received an email one week later saying it was cancelled because of low stock. Really I ordered Titos Vodka. Nothing special. Horrible customer service and online ordering. Not bad to run in to pick up some wine but never order from this place online. I would had never posted a review but I received and email from them saying hey can you review us on google??? REALLY !! SUREEE!

Ordered online. Gave personal and credit card info which was saved. No way to opt out of saving credit card number and security code. After receiving an invoice and a shipping notice I was then informed that it was out of stock. Why was this not indicated before I gave out sensitive personal information. Buyer beware!

Placed a delivery order of some very special, impossible to find gin (Empress 1908) after hunting it down unsuccessfully anywhere within 50 miles of my home in Maryland.

Received a same day email that the order was fulfilled and shipped, and literally AS I WAS ON THE PHONE with them the next day checking on the tracking info, it was delivered.

Decent selection, almost always have the liquor gift sets (the holiday sets that usually come with either- glasses, shot glasses and/or a shaker), and nice variety of "nips" (as most Staten Islanders call them - the 50ml bottles).

Nice store, small, not overwhelming, great selection pretty much anything you want, there are two guys and one lady that work there all at different times, they are all very nice, accommodating and very friendly, one guy in particular I see a lot when I go in is always saying hello and goodbye and up for friendly chat in between, all in all a very nice store, the only liquor store I shop at now, and I don't just buy alcohol to drink, I buy wines, red and white, also California sherry all to cook with and there selection is very good, and prices are reasonable for the area we live in.
