The Tree Of Life which is sustaining Ahmedabad's growth from the past 500 years. Devout Muslims come here to pray throughout the day. Women r not allowed to enter it's inner premises though u can take photos from outside of the main premises. Beware of the homeless people around it.

Nice calm place in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old city. I went in the noon so it was quite hot, but it would be ideal to visit it in the evening. The architecture is beautiful. Must visit if you are nearby.

Thank fully not in bad shape like delhi jama masjid this mosque too should have been in much better conditions with muslim contribution but dont know why such mosques are not restored properly. Any ways in enjoyed my visit and would recommend any one visiting ahmedabad to visit this place. Prayed my isha namaz in this mosque and it was a good feeling wondering who all must have been here while this was constructed , how many people must have prayed in this mosque , this place like any other old monuments has so many stories within itself. It was nice feeling hope and pray that muslims learn to protect and maintain such monuments.

One of the most impressive mosques in the Old City of Ahmedabad. The intricate carvings and the lay out make for a monument who's grandeur and majesty are truly impressive. The scale and proportions of the building and the huge courtyard are grandiose. A superb example of how a stupendous monument has been neglected. This mosque deserves to be declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Masjid is in old Ahmedabad and is a small one. It has good carvings and is a mix of Hindu and Islamic architecture. It isn't in prime condition and doesn't have much to offer as a tourist destination. Visit if old architecture interests you.

A well maintained and clean place which has been maintained very nicely. I won't be exaggerating if I say Ahmedabad is famous by this place as it has intricately carved jalis which has been adopted by many institutions as their logo which includes even IIM Ahmedabad. The jalis look beautiful during the day time and they look awesome at night when there is back light. People come to the mosque to offer prayers. There is also a running fountain at the evening time.
Overall a very beautiful place and a must visit for all the tourists.

WORLD heritage site. Original name sidi Saiyed jali. Protected monument. Very nice place. Internationally famous. Very peaceful place for worship namaz prayers.
Heritage place of Ahmedabad city at the centre of the city. You can find Beautiful stone carving over there. Beautifully carved pillar can attract you. A peacefull atmosphere in the city. You can feel peace as soon as you enter the premices of the mosque. It also has nice history.
