Reviews

I made a huge mistake by booking this property and not reading all the reviews before the travel. It was the worst staying experience I have ever had globally. This is not a hotel, their name is misleading. Points to consider before you book this hotel:

- It's not a hotel, they don't provide you with regular cleaning/housekeeping services. It costs $150 per cleaning service.
- The property is good but maintenance is atrocious, when we checked-in the flat was filthy, dirty and smelling.
- The cutlery, kitchen hood, Microwave, oven were all super-greasy and had a bad odour.
- Staff lacks basic courtsey, politeness and a sense of handling guests.
- The bed covers and pillow covers were smelling of sh*t. We had to wash it ourselves.
- I am not sure whether this is a norm in LA but the concierge took my passport for luggage cart/bell cart. As if I was going to steal it!!
- The staff had no clue about the place, they made us change the room after we complained and offered us 1 free cleaning service as well but I feel they don't come from hospitality industry or are not trained to handle. The room was barely clean even after the free cleaning 🤨
- There was a false fire alarm, we came down 29 floors using staircase. What bemused me was that there was no engineering staff to start back the elevator again. They called someone and it took them 20-30 min for the same. Imagine if the alarm was real. IT's REALLY UNSAFE
- The vicinity doesn't look safe because of drug and homeless issues (i feel really sad for them though)
- The worst part: I wrote an email to the hotel for the bad experience and nobody even acknowledged till date!! I am 100% sure someone will send an automated response to this review though :)

For you own safety and comfort, PLEASE DON'T STAY here. I am not able to upload videos here but in the video the room looks atrocious in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.
Rooms were clean; however the beds are a little stiff. The suites/units are big. We were allowed and a room upgrade from one room to two rooms for free. Also, valet and self-parking was complimentary meaning it costed us $0 to park in their garage. Location is in the middle of DTLA, which was convenient to getting around. I just did not like how I asked for an emailed receipt multiple times, but never received it from their front desk. Otherwise, our stay was nice. The staff were alright. The amenities were jam packed; pool, sauna, outdoor movie, basketball court, etc.
Rooms have a private balcony, full kitchen, washer / dryer -- essentially having a furnished condo in DTLA. Which offers much space compared to a traditional hotel. Great for young families or for stay-cations.

Our room was out of soap when we checked in, not a big deal just had to tell the front desk. There's a Whole Foods that's maybe a block away.
It was just OK, but I believe over priced. Parking is $50 a night which is just crazy. I had a one bedroom - the rooms are nice, big bathroom. Their listing says they have high quality linens - this is not true - you are provided with basic low quality hotel bedding. The pull out sofa couch did not have linens provided. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but they did not answer. I had to go down 2 different times to get them to deliver the extra bedding, first at 10pm, then at 11pm, then had to call at midnight, and i was very frustrated, and they finally delivered the bedding. The place is clean and has a nice pool. There are residents that live there and are very polite and nice. The customer service texting feature they provide was a joke, they never responded once to any texts. I found the service extremely lacking.
AARON GONZALES provided amazing service. We arrived from Australia 🇦🇺 jet lagged- having not slept in 24 hours, Aaron could not have been more helpful or understanding- allowing us to check-in early to the best available room.
Facilities were great - our 3 kids loved the pool and basketball court. Rooms were really spacious and comfy beds.
Great for crypto arena and some close by supermarkets too.
Concierge helped with airport lost luggage, parking and storing bags after check out. Thanks for a great LA stay Aaron & crew!
I completely enjoyed my stay. The valet service was convenient. The front desk staff were impeccable. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was second to none from the balcony. I deeply enjoyed the Infiniti pool and jacuzzi. Truthfully I have zero complaints.

Thank you for such a pleasant stay at your hotel.
Really enjoyed the stay at the Level. Love the lay out of our room overlooking the downtown LA skyscrapers, really nice living, kitchen. Bed, pillows and sheets were clean and very comfortable. Spacious bathroom.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful
Love the place ❤️
Our stay at Level DTLA was wonderful. We go to LA fairly often to visit our son who lives downtown. The location is perfect - a modern luxury tower - the amenities are excellent (an amazing rooftop outdoor movie theatre, never saw anything like it) and the rooms are like spending time in a luxury apartment. Extremely spacious and modern with Sub Zero fridge, Bosch appliances and Maytag washer and dryer. The private balcony adjoining every room is a huge plus for us too. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, all in all a perfect stay. Our new go-to "hotel" in LA.
