I started off Ash Reshteh soup ($13) which is a traditional Persian noodle soup with greens, chickpeas and kidney beans, topped with kashk (a type of onion). I found that it had little taste except for the slivered onion on top. For my main course I had the lamb shank ($34), which was simmered with herbs and garlic, served with what they call green rice (pictured), which had a different and pleasing taste. I went to this restaurant after I found that this restaurant was listed on Google as having one of the best lamb shanks in the city, I agree, it was very flavorful.
I was absolutely thrilled to find Ravagh Persian Grill! As a big fan of Persian cuisine, having authentic dishes like kashke bademjoon and koobideh right in Manhattan was a delightful surprise. The quality of the food was superb – juicy koobideh, perfectly seasoned, and the chicken kebab was incredibly flavorful. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Persian dining experience, Ravagh is a must-try!
Went to Ravagh for Iftar. Ali, the server was accommodating and bought dates and bread just before it was time to break the fast. He was fasting himself as-well. The food came right on time and we didn’t have to wait. The appetizers and entrees were absolutely delicious! The barg and koobideh kebab were perfectly grilled. The barg was juicy, tender and perfectly seasoned. The koobideh was incredibly flavorful and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Kebabs went well with saffron rice, green chutney, white sauce, grilled onions and tomatoes. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was excellent. Highly recommend trying their traditional kashk bademjan, kotlet and shirazi salad. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
There is a huge room for improvement, the kebab was overcooked and the rice quality was poor, The pickle and olive dish was not appealing (dumping couple of broken olives and some dry pickle in a dish).
Everything was so great!! The crispy pork belly was yummy the skin was still crispy and the meat wasn’t hard to chew at all Crab fried rice was also yummy and don’t forget to take some chili and fish sauce and eat together ** if you order 1 entre they give you 1 app for FREE!!** how about that?!?! Give it a try guys

The food was very delicious. Portion sizes were good. It was a busy Friday night but we were seated right away even without reservations. The servers were nice and attentive. The music and ambiance were good. And the food didn’t take long to come either. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be coming back!

Food was very fresh and tasty. I had the spiced calamari & chicken wings with crispy garlic, both were very flavorful & enjoyable portions. Enough to be shared amongst 3 people & Still be able to enjoy your meal! Atmosphere is very welcoming & Service was amazing. Very attentive & super nice. Overall 10/10!
Thank you very much. Beer you make the best drinks! This place is a secret hidden gem, you may just walk by without even noticing it, so please be sure to top inside. They make the best Thai style margaritas "Comrade Party". Also don't forget the Happy Hour, they open 1130am $3 tap Sapporo beers whatttttt!!!
The service here is incredible, all the staffs were so friendly and always caring. I particularly love the chicken cashew, this is one of the best I’ve tasted in New York. I saw the table next to us have their birthday and the staff gave them free mango sticky rice shots too, so nice!

Stopped in for a birthday late lunch. Food was fresh and really delicious. It came out quickly. The staff was super attentive and friendly. The drinks were also really good.

Beautiful restaurant and probably the most delicious and hearty meal I’ve had in years. It tasted just like home, and I had that feeling Anton Ego had when he had the flashback in ‘Ratatouille’. I live all the way in Philly but I’ll be making more trips to NYC just to eat here!
Really good food. I love the lamb leg stew here. The baba ghanoush is phenomenal. It went so well with hummus and the fresh, warm bread here. It’s a definitely must have. The Turkish tea was tasty as well. If there were any complaint, it’s that food size is big. It seems that one portion would be good for two people.
Amazingly delicious food, especially the khoresh fesenjan (chicken in pomegranate sauce) with the rice with tangy barberries. Our servers were very attentive (but the host who greeted me wasn’t). Perfectly fine modern ambiance with nice middle eastern music.
A hidden Gem! This restaurant is a few blocks from our hotel, needless to say I’m glad we made the choice to dine here. The service here is excellent, fast and clean! The atmosphere is also fantastic. My mother and I have a shellfish allergy, which was able to be accommodated. Instead of having shrimp in our rice and Phad Thai we were able to substitute for chicken which did not take away from the flavor at all. In addition, our server and manager Wen, mentioned the happy hour specials so my mother ordered the black berry mojito which was sweetly refreshing. We frequently travel to NYC and this gem has been added to our favorites list. Can’t wait to come back.
Amazing dog's... no complaints at all! The snap and juiciness of the Frank is outa this world, the chili was properly spiced and the french fried onions added the perfect added flavor to the dog. Definitely have recommended and Ceasar provided the best service....even walked out with an amazing slice of double chocolate cake that was moist and to die for; and I don't even like chocolate!

Ordered Chicken Parm and penne. I asked for penne al dente. Penne was extremley soggy and chicken parm was also soggy. Chicken parm was microwaved from a fozen product. Couldn't eat any of it. Wasted almost $18.00!

Trust me. You want to stop everything you’re doing and buy some skewers from this couples food cart! I’ve been coming here for many months and every time I come here they exceed my expectations. They are cheap, quick, and efficient.
They are so good it will make you stop being vegetarian, It happened to my friend of mine.

I got the Dykman burger with fries. The food was delicious but definitely on the salty side. The gentleman working the counter/waiting tables was super friendly. He even gave me a small bottle of hand sanitizer too.
One note: The Dykman burger comes with stick fries IN the burger, which I didn't realize, so if you get it maybe get something other than fries as a side.

Amazing skewers run by a very friendly couple. Usually super fast too. The skewers and everything else run around $2-$3 but I rarely leave spending less than $20 otherwise I end up going back for nore

The chicken heart is so chewy and juicy, and the chicken wing comes with a big portion with lots of meats!
The squid is also salty and delicious!

Penne vodka sauce with 3 meatballs+4bags chips approx $21. Vodka sauce clumpy from cheese not properly incorporated, color looked close but not right and taste not even close thought of red cheddar sauce like from Mac N Chez. Meatballs small don't know how long kept frozen but doesn't taste like beef though didn't ask(mixed mystery meat). Kettle chips good price+taste. Maybe give their sandwich a try🤨 next time.
This it the second time I try Dyckman Dogs, last time ordered some Plantain Fries, but this time wanted to get actual and original order. This was amazing, veery tasty but not salty, crunchy fries, although If I had the option would've added more salsa and cheese.. at the bottom the fries were dry with no Special sauce nor cheese .. but
this was amazing, my sister and mom ordered the samee but with onions.. You need to try them out!! Also I called for pick up, and the guy that took the phone and gave me order was veery very friendly, everyone was even the one in the kitchen .. loved this food and place!

Top quality burgers in the area! Five Guys is my usual burger place, but this is the best artisanal burger I've ever eaten. 11/10 - was served as it appeared in photos from other reviewers. Delicious. This restaurant is a gem.

You might walk past it like it’s just another food cart but the smell of charred edges and fresh hot skewers might make you walk back. *BEST* - King oyster mushroom, enoki mushroom, lamb and pork. We had 10 skewers, 2 at a time, cuz they were so good we had to keep trying new ones! Everything was more or less $2, lovely couple, you’re missing out if you haven’t had it yet 🤩
This spot is so delicious, especially for late night snack!! The skewers are so fresh, flavorful and juicy. You can really try a lot of different skewers since each is only $1-$3. My favorites are the eggplant, green chives, and the lamb. The mushrooms are great too!
I can’t even believe this restaurant doesn’t have over 500 reviews. This restaurant has to be one of the hidden gems of NYC. Their food is very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. My cousin brought me to try their food and I tasted a bite out of heaven. Now I will sacrifice the time to commute there just for their tasty, & watery burgers. The staff is very friendly too I recommend this restaurant to all.

i cannot even stress this enough, this restaurant offers many great services such as dine in and long hours that stretch late especially during covid. Which is very helpful, plus the hospitality is on point.

I discovered this place through a post on Ig and decided to put it on my bookmarks, as I was doing something in the area we decided to finally give it a try.
I really don't understand the posts with 1 star as this place is THE BOMB!!!
I fell in love with their Dyckman fries and have already ordered them twice in two of three different versions(plantains and fries). My very Dominican boyfriend loved the Dominican fries and also ordered them twice in two different versions(plantains and sweet potatoes)
The staff at Dyckman Dogs was extremely friendly to me and my boyfriend even tho we had to talk through the glass. They even came to us to say bye and wish us a good rest of the day. Their team in the kitchen was also very friendly, they were waving at us and talking through signs, really appreciated how polite and attentive they were.
We've been here twice in the same week and already recommended to other people who also visited and loved their food.
I already had the pleasure to eat two of their Hot Dogs, their DELICIOUS loaded Fries and last but not least, their Maracucha Burger. I have to say EVERYTHING was made to perfection and extremely delightful.
I 100% recommend this place and will definitely come back for more!!

Very fresh, huge (even a half-sandwich can be mistaken for a whole one), and nourishing. Great price for such a central location. A huge choice and nice veggie options.
