Wow! What an absolutely amazing place. Food was to die for and staff were so friendly and welcoming. I don’t know what they do to the mushrooms in the burger but my mum said they were incredible. Wish we’d visited at the start of our holiday rather than the end so we could have gone again. I left thinking I was in a food coma. Definitely worth going as it was worth every penny and made our last day in Amsterdam perfect!

Sumo Amsterdam is a fantastic Japanese restaurant where you can order as much as you like for a fixed price per person. The dishes were delightful, especially the cheese Beefroll, Chinese dumplings, tempura shrimp, beef with asparagus, and the fruit ice cream. The highlight of our visit was the energetic and positive waitress, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a delicious cheeseburger and steak fries - this is the place to go. Food was scrumptious. Service was great (as we found with all of the restaurants we dined at in Amsterdam).
Extremely hectic. Don't count on your reservation. Staff told us literally when we were there on time for our 18h reservation, the waiting guests in the shop have priority, tel-reservations don't matter and if they would tell his when you call for a table, nobody would come. Turn-over is extreme. Staff members are overloaded and argue. I did not experience an extreme taste in the food, you can get it all over the city. If you are looking for a nice evening with an acceptable atmosphere, this is not the place to go. For a high priced middle quality kebap in a horrible sphere, yes, this is the right place.
The place smelled musty, takeaway took ages, although we only had 2 lentil soups. Unfortunately, they tasted like packet soup and too expensive as well. Can’t recommend.
We made a booking here half hour before we wanted to eat dinner. Not a drama booked straight in! Staff were very friendly. We got the new York sirloin mixed veggies. Unreal! Cooked to perfection some of the best steak I have had! Definitely get the veggies they are amazing. Definitely be going back!
Was disappointed with the all you can eat as it's not really an all you can eat. The sushi really wasn't anything special. I've had way better sushi elsewhere. It didn't taste fresh. The actual restaurant and interior is quite beautiful

Stayed in Amsterdam for the weekend and decided to visit here based on the reviews as well as the places look and locally to my hotel.
The staff were friendly and able to seat us at a table straight away.
We were given a menu and asked if we wanted drinks.
The choice of food on the menu is excellent with some very good looking steak options.
I opted for the fried egg burger with bacon.
The burger arrived and it tasted amazing, the meat patty was full of flavour and cooked perfectly to my taste with just the right amount of seasoning, it was just delightful to eat. It came in a warm bun, some salad, pickles, mayo and BBQ sauce and some fresh hand cut chips. There was enough food to eat in the serving to make it enjoyable.
The price of the burger was very good and the meal far exceeded the cost.
The service and the staff were great and I would happily go back again next time I’m in the area.

The first restaurant in Turkey to offer a taste close to Turkish food.
I have been to many of the well-known Turkish restaurants in the West End, but unfortunately they have always been disappointing (some of them have very tasty soups, but not the main course)
Although not exactly the same, Kebaphan offers a similar experience to Turkey in most of its products. thank you.

Great food on 8th Feb. Went with friends from Germany 😄Venezuela 😀and Egypt.
The personnel was not at all enthousiast on displaying costumer service, so it seemed. They were most likely only hired to ‘Just serve food.’
The menu said we’d have 2hrs with 5 rounds of each 4 items. This appeared to be 1,5 hrs with 4 rounds. It also didn’t mention anything about paying extra for certain dishes. As you can see in the video, simple side dishes and most deserts came with an additional fee.

The ratio of price and quality of the food is so good that we went there two nights in a row.
Also the staff is very kind and caring.
Would recommend to reserve a table on Saturdays as it can get quite busy.

Coming from Melbourne where we have an extremely popular "All you can eat" Japanese restaurant - this was a bit disappointing.
The Good:
- the food was good
- it was a quiet night so service was pretty fast
- pretty venue
- fried banana was great
The Bad:
- you can only order 5x rounds of 4x items per round. This might sound like a lot however for context, a plate of salmon nigiri comes with 1x on a plate and counts as 1/4 of your orders for that round. Makes it hard to be able to experience and try all the unique things on the menu.
- you're under a time constraint of 90mins with a clock ticking down. You're not allowed to order multiple rounds at once so make sure you eat quick & find time to order in-between dishes. We finished our 5 orders with 13 mins to spare with only 2 of us. I could see this being a bigger issue with a larger group
- forced to buy a drink alongside all you can eat (per person)
- if you feel like water, make sure you drink before you go or bring your own as they don't offer tap water and the cheapest option on the menu was a bottle of mineral water for 7.95 euros.
- you get everything on the menu included except sashimi. This costs 6 euro extra per plate
In summary, experience was alright - despite the negatives above the food tasted good. I likely wouldn't return here though.

So far the best lahmacun in the Netherlands. Do not compare it with the other turkish pizzas you eat. In most of the restaurants they will bring you something that is baked before and just heated up but here I think it was freshly baked. I also liked their bread that they give with the soup. We also ate adana durum that was also nice. The atmosphere is not that good pretty small and the tables are very close to each other.
My friend took chicken fajitas and the chicken was expired, it literally smelt like expired meat and when we told the server he kept saying that it was not expired and he started calling us liars. I've never seen this level of gaslighting at a restaurant. Expired chicken had a distinguished smell, I don't understand why he would deny it when everyone at our table could smell it. This is really embarrassing for a restaurant at the center of amsterdam.
Do not go here. Disgusting. The restaurant was stinky and the food was terrible. My husband ordered a falafel sandwich and I ordered kebab. The falafel looked like it had been in the back of the freezer for years. The kebab was deep fried patties of unidentifiable meat. My husband begged the owner for hummus and tahini but they said they didn’t have any in the restaurant (despite it being on the menu). This place exists only to take advantage of drunk people and tourists.
The food was very tasty, I had a pepper steak, it was very well seasoned and delicious. the atmosphere was very relaxing and the service was very friendly. If I'm in Amsterdam again, I'd love to come back.

We had to try before flying out and what can we say, it was a perfect dinner and a must visit when in Amsterdam. Steak was 😍- Medium rare at its best. Pasta's texture and taste was simply loved. Great service (forgot to get his name).
Really hipe place , service very bad , food its ok,but what don't match what u pay and what u get, atmosphere is good when the place is 50 % empty otherwise u sit so close to each other its very bad , its not even 10cm from. One table to other one, u can easily join ur neighbor tables conversation, no privacy, so I don't really recommend.
Friendly and accommodating! Asked lettuce, got lettuce, got brought an extra pita. Will come again. Especially good for late night!

Het is altijd een feestelijke gelegenheid wanneer ik daar gaat eten. De meze selectie is heerlijk en biedt een scala aan smaken om van te genieten. Maar het hoogtepunt is ongetwijfeld de verrukkelijke lamskotelet. De sappige smaak en perfecte bereiding maken het een absolute aanrader.
While the place has potential, the service was really poor. Delivered a cold steak meal, cork in the wine and a check with errors. Also hard to get a hold of to make orders. The meat was good, but as cold and with all the other remarks i can not recommend this place.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Keep in mind that taxis and Ubers will drop you off outside the square, so have directions. Our group of 10 had a variety of Meats and they were all cooked to perfection 😁
I've visited this place twice, and during my last visit, I was quite surprised to spot a mouse 🐁 in the restaurant! I brought it to the attention of the staff, who seemed surprisingly unfazed by it. Despite this unexpected encounter, I must admit that their food is absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself is quite beautiful. However, the mouse sighting did take away from the overall experience 😄.

Amazing place! My Turkish husband said that finally it’s first proper Turkish place for kebab in the city after 25 years of trying 😁 super delicious kebab and friendly true Turkish service
Good sushi, good variety, even for people who don't like fish so much, such as me. The salmon mango sushi is the best though. Great atmosphere too, beautiful interior. The yuzu ice cream is a must try.

Very friendly and fast service. Adana Kebab is delicious, served with finely chopped salad that you must put on a piece of Kebab and roll it in a piece of bread to eat. Amazing taste.
I had an amazing experience at this kebab restaurant! The variety of Turkish kebabs they offer is impressive. From traditional flavors to unique recipes, every bite was a delight. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was friendly. A must-visit for Turkish kebab enthusiasts!
The carpaccio was irrelevant to what's on the menu, and you can see the rest of the meal. needless to say stinky meats, dried chicken and pathetic carpaccio that has nothing to do with what's on the menu. Since the place where we wanted to eat paella on Tuesday was closed (we tried it yesterday too, which is also nonsense), we stumbled upon this place on our way, it's just awful. Don't waste your money, go and chew on regular bread, it's better than this.

Steak was extremely juicy and tender, and those few drops off steak fluid, that leaked to the plate, was almost clear and no bloody at all.
Usually medium steaks are undercooked and fluid is disgustingly bloody, but not in this restaurant.
Also fries and sauce were exellent.
And on top of that, we were running late, it was almost 23.00 already when we did notice this restaurant, but service was still perfect, behavior of staff didn't reflect anyway that place should be closed already.
Those over 200g sirloin steaks with fries, salad and self-selected sauces were 15.90€/portion!
So extremely good food with very low price. Defenetly worth of visiting.

Was craving a steak and came across this place while looking for dinner, the host was extremely attentive and helpful and the steak and ribs we got were great, the steak was actually medium rare unlike some places I've been to.
We zijn hier gaan eten op aanraden van vrienden. De ontvangst was vriendelijk. Eenmaal aan tafel werden we geholpen door 2 jonge dames die beiden alleen Engels spraken. Ik heb daar toch wat moeite mee, ik spreek prima Engels maar in mijn eugen land zou ik me toch gewoon in het Nederlands verstaanbaar moeten kunnen maken.
Als voorgerecht koos ik.voor een combinatie van een caprese empanada die onverwacht smaakvol was, een chorizoworst die oké was en een gamba. Deze laatste was veel te lang gebakken en smakeloos helaas.
Als hoofdgerecht een ossenhaas van 225 gram met knoflooksaus, een gepofte aardappel en een maiskolf. Hier was werkelijk niets op aan te merken. Vlees was goed bereid, smaakvol en mals en ook de bijgerechten stelden niet teleur. Ook de rode huiswijn die ik erbij drink was heerlijk

From the moment I went in I knew that this was a high-quality steak restaurant. The service was very good, :-) And the food was awesome. I asked for the BIFE DE LOMO, so tender and juicy, look at the picture 😬…You can tell I loved it. Definitely coming again.
First dinner since landing in ams. Menu was straight forward and met our expectations. Service was great and was easy to communicate in English. You can taste the difference in the ingredients and how fresh the food was. Highly recommended.

We arrived in Amsterdam and was looking for a quick bite to eat. The staff were extremely friendly and although busy managed to find us a table. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. It was a very clean place and although full it was not noisy so you could carry on a conversation
My Turkish friend recommended we go here, and we weren't disappointed. Authentic Turkish food, with many dishes we were not used to seeing at other Turkish restaurants. Very friendly owner. Lamb especially was excellent: perfectly pink and tender. Also recommend the white bean meze. Very good baklava: not overly sweet, you can taste the pistachio

we waren met een groep van 6, we hebben de mix mezze voor 4 personen, mix grill, dorade en lams kebob besteld. we hebben heerlijk gegeten.
Good stake, friendly service and great location. I had a sirloin 250g with chimichurri sauce, grilled vegetables and empanadas de carne for starters.
Ordered a shawarma, got something for 19€!!! and that guy insisted on paying. Especially for what I actually paid (picture).

- Extremely good food. Adana in particular was amazing. The pomegranate salad dressing was so good that I literally drank the remaining dressing like a soup after I was done with the salad. The cig kofte is the best I had in Amsterdam without question.
- Great service. They were very fast and thoughtful. For instance, they served the salad for kids without spices. The staff were friendly and didn’t make a fuss even though our children made a mess.
- Reasonable prices. The Kebapci mix menu they offered was the full package with the salad and cig kofte. Amazing value for money.
- Good ventilated. Even though the grill is in the eating area, they have a really good hood. No smoke at all.
Cons: (All minor points)
- The eating area is a bit small. It was ok during lunch but I imagine the space gets a bit tight during the dinner.
- A couple pieces of the Çöp Şiş kaburga were a bit chewy. They were still delicious but I think I’ll get the Küşleme instead in my next visit.
- The menu was a bit confusing to me. The Porsiyon side doesn’t really make sense. Even the single skewer ones there are more expensive then the two skewer Kebapci Mix menu. I think they can get rid of that whole part. It would make their offering easier to understand.

It’s a recommended steakhouse when you’re in Amsterdam. I came here for lunch. The location close was close to tram stop so it’s very strategic. The steak was delicious and cooked very well. It’s tender and juicy. The hospitality was very nice, staffs were friendly and they served pretty fast. It’s a cozy spot for lunch !!
There is the best turkish restaurant in Amsterdam! We came two evenings in a row because it was so delicious. All dishes are individually very tasty and attentive. We felt like we were in Turkey. Authentic Argentinian stake next to Rembrandt square. The place is neat, ambient is good and the staff is very friendly; no outside tables. I had a sirloin stake with chimichurri sauce, grilled mushrooms and spinach, everything was fine.

Visiting from England and we found the restaurant close to our hotel the Delphi.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious.
They not only served very good stakes. We had the marginated chicken that I would recommend.
All round a very excellent restaurant.

Die Qualität des Essens war gut, aber die Quantität lässt sich noch steigern!
Wir waren mit 6 Leuten dort und zwei von uns hatten das selbe Gericht, leider war auf einem Teller deutlich weniger Fleisch, als auf dem anderen, das darf in dem Umfang in der Gastronomie nicht passieren.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

It was the most delicious kebap that we ate in Amsterdam. Definitely worth to try! The staff was so kind. And their baklava is the best. I will definitely come again and suggest here to my friends.
We wanted a grill restaurant (bit of a meat craving for 2 of us and the other had a mix of seafood). Steaks were both ordered medium rare and that's what we got, which doesn't always happen. Would have liked it if it came with some sides instead of having to order everything separately but that's more often the case in Argentinian restaurants. Asked for some mayo with the fries and just got packages instead of in a bowl, which wasn't so nice.
Not a pretentious or fancy place but decent. Honestly had a negative point, but after pointing it out, it was resolved. Wat more can I ask for?

Turkish restaurant offering decent kebaps, it comes with cigkofte and side salad. Don’t expect the best kebab but i would not say it was bad, if you are in the area just try it. My recommendation would be either Adana kebab or Cop Sis. Don’t forget to order Ayran , Turkish yogurt drink to wash it down.
Best Turkish kebap restaurant in the city. Price/performance is perfect. Satisfactory portions and amazing taste. The service is praiseworthy. The compliments (raw meat and salad) are also delicious.
They delivered a bag of meat as „Brodje shoarma“, no salat or vegetables. It was not only tiny but as a take a way not eatable. I cannot recommend
Restaurant is in a good location. Food is alright, nothing special. In my case, service was amazing and food came really fast, staff really friendly.
I'm sad because someone might buy it and think that is what broodje shoarma is supposed to be. I paid 11 euros for this and there's only questionable, fatty meat, small bread and a pinch of garlic sauce. In Germany a train station kebab would ez give you twice as much for twice as little. Shame.
We got a suggestion from one of our Turkish friends about here. The food was good and tasty. I think the meat quality could be a bit better.
The food is good, but the way this place is ran it’s really not. It took more than 30’ to get our order and almost two hours to get our food. Until we finished eating it was too late for us to get desserts. They don’t serve water - no tap, bottled, nothing, even if you ask. You get tap water only if you order a jug of wine too (only wine, other drinks don’t count). We insisted a lot for some water and they eventually gave us half a glass each, and charged us 3 euro for it. It’s not much, but it’s the gesture. Water you give even to strangers if they are thirsty and you don’t give to your guests?
This was by far one of the worst experiences ever. First on the menu was the Lambrusco wine (can be white or red) and they gave me the white one, which I don’t like. Then the beer was expired, the foam was like soap foam. Then I ordered a merlot and brought me a white wine. The worst part was the meat. Completely cold and felt like chewing a shoe. The side dish was really small of a portion and the fries were cold. And the empanadas were fried, usually Argentinian empanadas are baked. When I ate it, oil was dripping from it and it was the bad kind. My cousin had stomachache afterwards after he ate most of the cold meat (was supposed to be hot).
Needless to say I did not enjoy dining here and I would suggest to change chef as it has improvements and potential.

Dish presentation + English fluent staff shy away from being perfect.
Taste-wise, you’re welcome to a harmony and balance. If you are familiar with the Turkish cuisine, you know surely about their mastery of the meat and the aromas combined with it. They’re very generous with their white bread. On a more general note, much like most middle-eastern spade kabob shops, you get to taste what the Persians would refer to as “underkabob bread”… such quality and deliciousness, combined with a the nature of being hidden under the meat found its way to the Persian proverbs.
Wonderful experience. High quality/price ratio.

Despite the fact that they were treating us like at home, we ended up with several friends, excellent food and seasoning, in addition to the multicultural and gastronomic management that one would expect to receive in places of high value.
Kebabs were very tasty, however in small portions. It doesn't come with any sides or sauces. Even the bread was kinda hard,9 not edible with the kebabs. It was more like a snack than a dinner! Quite pricey as well - I ordered three dishes and it was over €30 and not very filling either!

Na een dagje winkelen midden in de stad zalig gegeten. Ruim opgezet, drankenkaart bevat oa heerlijke cocktails. Rib-eye medium was perfect en goed op smaak. Pepersaus was net aan genoeg voor 300gr vlees, min punt slappe frietjes. Frisse WC
Een hele leuke ervaring. Mooie originele zaak. Kindvriendelijk en plaats genoeg. Heel vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten. De ribbetjes zijn ok en a volonte, maar je moet zelf achter de tweede portie vragen. De zalm was heel vers en lekker. Doch een kleine portie. Gelukkig als sidedish de groene asperges en frietjes op Argentijnse wijze. Deze trokken jammer genoeg op niet veel. Gewoon knoflook en peterselie erop en hopla Argentinië is daar. Mijn zoon had twee kippenbouten op de gril met appelmoes. Hij geeft 110 op 110!! Mijn dochter had ook ribbetjes met een lekkere patat. Zij geeft 9 op 19.
Aan het einde bij de rekening werd er van sidedishes 2 maal 4,50 euro geteld teveel geteld. Dit terwijl die 2 zijn inbegrepen bij onze hoofdgerechten.

Great Turkish BBQ, The best Turkish BBQ in Amsterdam, I had some BBQ in Turkey as well, Kebapci has first class Turkish Kebab, Love it, you can't go wrong, everything tastes really good. I visit this restaurant over and over and every time is a great pleasure.
