Station is clean amd looks good. However when it rains the platform roof leaks heavily. There isn't any ddigital display board with info on next trains.
During non rainy days it's a beautiful place, during rainy days, you need a swimsuit and a boat to cross Velachery
Last station for the Beach to Velachery flying route.... Recently the train is returned in Chepauk station

This is Pazhavanthangal Railway station, mainly for local suburban trains. Nanganallur town is the popular residential and commercial area. Sri Bhaktha Anjaneyar Temple is around 2km from this station. Nanganallur is an oldest town area with many temples. Good locality for habitat. Meenambakkam,

The station is located at the right spot. Nearby lies a college, a few schools and on the other side is a City library, also the restaurant and cake Bakery popular with family and friends. But the place needs restroom facilities, clean and hygiene and an easy route to go to the station.

Best transportation in Chennai to travel around. Its cheap and time saving. Don't expect neatness 😅

This is one of the best place you can roam around with your friends at vijaynagar bus stand you find everything on a walking distance like hotels, railway y,bus stand,auto stand, electronic gadgets shop, shopping complex,theatre,fun area and view above that bridge was awesome view I think many of them might have seen this view in reels at the background videos in songs.
Though the Meenambakkam railway station caters the need for the people of BV Nagar, Moovarasampet and surrounding areas to reach Tambaram or Towards Madras Beach and also serves the people reaching old Airport, Aircargo etc., Station poses deserted look since long time with poorly maintained,unclean water logged unilluminated subway. Poses unsafe for ladies during early morning and late night travel/transit.
It's a exactly Neat and Clean station with proper seating arrangements for passengers, and it has enough space, during traffic hours, it's helpful for many commuters especially for office goers, students & for those who need to reach their destinated journey very speed, then this metro station will be preferable for those people

There is a market place and there are many retail outlets here. Adhivyadhihara Anchaneyar Temple is here. The deity is very tall and can be viewed from sranding outside. Different types of prasadams, in throwaway containers (what the call Donnai in Tamil ) are given to all devoties after they finish visiting the temple

International and Domestic air travellers alight here for last mile connectivity and also for transit through other mode of transportation. Swachtha maintained neat and clean, but late-night and early morning commuters watch for flooded subway when visited last time and few occasions earlier. Also watchout for pick pocketers when entrain and detrain. Have added flooded subway photo at 0000 O'Clock last time and forced to cross trespass highway to reach airport with luggage - a nightmare for a international - for a commuter

One of the more tranquil and scenic stations on the Chennai Beach-Tambaram section of Southern Railway in South Chennai with a view of a green hillock. A neat station with good seating arrangements for passengers. It is the changeover Railway station to get on to the Metro at Chennai Airport Metro station which can be accessed through the subway. Also if you need to travel to/from the Chennai Airport by suburban train, then Tirusulam is the right station to access since it is closest to the airport with luggage trolleys being placed near the station subway at the airport end some distance away from the airport exit for the comfort of fliers. A word of caution for air travellers, there is no slope at the airport end of the subway for strolling your luggage, so you would have to lift your luggage up/down the Tirusulam station subway stairs when going to/from the airport. Though there is a slope at the Tirusulam railway station end for strolling luggage, this anomaly of slope not being available at the airport end can be understood to be present, maybe to prevent the airport luggage trolleys being taken right upto to the Tirusulam railway station platform.

Best mode of transport to reach places inside chennai at short time… the places are clean and well maintained. We can reach airport, central and other part of chennai like Wimco nagar, saidapet, tenampet, St. Thomas Mount using this metro. It has good parking facilities at low cost.
It's not better than other mrts stations in Chennai just like the rest it's not hygenic and poorly maintained but stench is a bit lesser and it is in the main road
Tirumangalam Metro Station is In Anna Naghar this station having Parking space and some of food outlets are available and easily travel through this metro station. Here chai shop was good,From madhavaram Andhra Busstand this station is 10 kms for easy and quick travel use this metro station. station was clean and good all transportation available in front of this station.......

It is situated about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of Adyar. It is bordered on two sides by the Old Mahabalipuram Road and the Perungudi lake. It is situated on the Old Mahabalipuram IT Expressway right in middle of an Information Technology (IT) Estate. It is between Taramani and Thoraipakkam and parallel to Kottivakkam and Palavakkam in the East Coast Road (ECR Highway).
For commuters travelling towards Central Railway station or Towards Airport/Guindy from Mogappair,Padi,Ambattur this station will be the fastest and more apt way to reach your destination if you want to avoid all the traffic and chaos on the road. The station is very clean and runs underground for the entire stretch from Thirumangalam to Central. The elevated stretch starts from CMBT. It only takes a max of 10 mins to reach Egmore Railway station which is fabulous. Toilets are not bad but definitely needs improvement. Safety is on par with world standards. Currently Metro opens at 5:30AM till 11 PM (Mon-Sat) and 7:00 AM till 10PM on Sundays. Rates starts from Rs.10 to Rs.50 and I believe they offer 20% discounts for travel card users. they also have unlimited rides per day if you pay Rs.100 (not sure of the exact fare) will update it once I get the exact figures. Two wheeler and four wheeler parking facilities are also available. Charging station for EV’s are also available .

Well maintained railway station . Local train are available every 5 mins to Chennai beach and Tambaram. Chennai Airport is near the railway station . Subway is available to connect airport . Airport Metro station also near by .
Even though the name mention perungudi railway station, the actual place in which the railway station is situated is in the village of kallukuttai.
There is already another railway station which is very easy access to perungudi.
To say about the railway station.. it is a very easy access for the people in and around this station to travel to different places with a very low fare.

Good. Very clean. But stray dogs are roaming here n there. To improve public amenities, like toilets, book stall n arrange to open canteen n Cake/ snack stall, etc.
If you got to kill some time before you catch a bus or something, this is the place to go! Good ambiance, great ventilation, nobody disturbs you! I think any metro station in Chennai is good for that matter.
The station is clean overall but little bit messy during the monsoon season. The platform has natural light source and as it's located nearby the Adayaru river, it's breezy here all the time. The lift maintainence is poor. The Anna Centenary Library is at walkable distance from here. This station holds so many beautiful memories for me.
Do you want spend your evening at its best, then get down in thirumangalam metro station. Why because the anna nagar is very near to this metro station. Lot of snacking option over there and many food stalls which makes you mouth watering. Thirumangalam metro station is located very near to thirumangalam bus stand, it is easier to catch the bus and travel around the city. Not only bus services, it has cycle service nearby so that using the app, you can unlock the vehicle and ride over the city.
Station is well maintained but it's near the jain college, it would be crowded during peak hours and the major drawback of this station is that when we come through subway entrance, ticket counter may be closed. Parking facilities are not there. No snacks available! Seats are available to sit ✌️
Very much neat and good metro station. Located near to CMBT. Here we can reach mmda colony and thiru nagar easily. Also choolaimedu is nearby. Once in every 5 minutes we will have train. Can get train for airport and central railway station majorly. Good to have metro trains
Station has developed here over the months. Locations of ticket counters have been changed. There are 2 canteen stalls which you could see when you enter the platform. Sub urban(local) trains stop in this station. Fast trains and express trains do not stop. To board express you have to go to either Tambaram or Chennai Egmore.
PS.: Tambaram is the nearest.

But, the roads next to the platform is not tidy at all. Litters and garbages are just thrown in the open. Pretty narrow roads. Can't drive two cars at a time in opposite directions. However,roads on the other side of the railway are quite clean, you can drive cars there without congestion.

The surrounding area is really beautiful specially in the evening. Most of the part of the station is left half constructed but still it looks good. There is are escalators for going up but it is not functioning. There is also a food court and Madras Coffee house for refreshment. This is the nearest station to the Tamil Nadu Law college.
A railway station which is crowded forever. The station will have drinking water and food cafeteria. But it does not have escalators. It has only steps. The ticket counter is crowded always. Pallavaram station is next to tirusulam when train comes from beach and it is next to chromepet when it is moving towards beach.
Arumbakkam actually is situated distant from this station. This station is misled with its name. The bus stop near the station is MMDA and hence it would be correct if the station's name is MMDA. Metro stations in Chennai are generally well maintained and classy and this is one of it. Arumbakkam station is not much crowded unlike other metro stations.
The view from the main road makes this appear like some shopping mall because the style of the subways are so cool. Unlike other metro stations which have a very similar interior design, this has a few unique touches here and there. Boards inside guide you regarding the entrances and the cycles are parked right outside. Another advantage is that it's close to VR mall, the lightings make it very easy to spot. I have absolutely no complaints and I look forward to coming here again.
Velachery Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) serves the public with good connectivity across beach lane. Do have long distance local trains till Gummudipoondi, Tirutani etc via beach station. Timetable of trains attached in my review. Sanitation to be improved. Well maintained parking structure is available. As compared with local bus services and CMRL with respect to cost, MRTS is so affordable.
This station is one of the longest railway stations in the MRTS route. This station has underground parking lot facility and it has the train services upto 11pm. This station is located at the center of kotturpuram locality. It has poor maintenance some places in the station are very worse even to cross that place. Spitting of Pan in the station should be taken with severe actions. Windows should be replaced or maintained mainly during rainy days.
Easiest way to get to Chennai central and egmore. Metro access at Park town station. Like all MRTS stations needs maintenance and cleanliness

Located at the junction of velachery and taramani.. 800m away from bus stop... Parking for two wheeler and four wheeler are available... Auto rickshaw is there all the time... No shops inside station..
Nothing below average nor above, typical small station in Chennai metropolitan served by local EMU trains. The ticket counter is located at the crossing which pushes people to use the footbridge. The platform are reasonably clean and maintained. Seatings are available whilst waiting for train.
Taramani MRTS Railway Station, located at Taramani and important junction in between OMR, Velachery and Thiruvanmiyur. But Station is not maintained properly. No adequate Lights available in the night.

Local city travel via MRTS . Cheapest, fastest & ease of travel . Easy connectivity to Mylapore, tidel park, Madhya Kailash, Chepauk, & Central station.
The station is strategically important as it is one of the stops between tambram and chennai beach. Only local trains stop here. Please don't expect any other kind of trains to stop here. It has shops for drinking water and the charges are very low. It has shops for snacks too. But tobe honest it is very dirty with plastic bottles all over the track. Please find it in the image here.
Afternoon time you can get the tickets easily in ticket counter because of less crowd...3 platforms.... Beach, tirumalpur, chengalpattu, tambaram route....footover bridge...

One of the greatest commute to people here to beach. U can also get trains to avadi via chennai beach. Railway staffs can try to keep this place neat and clean. If they do it they will attract a lot of passengers. Automatic ticket vending machine will be ter which will not work half a month. Other than that u can enjoy a good journey

This is the most economic mode to reach Chennai airport from places where a local train connectivity is available (fare starts from INR 5.0 and guess the maximum may be INR 15.0 or so) . Considering the fare charged the place is decently maintained though there is huge scope of improvement in upkeeping of infrastructure.

Perungudi Metro station...It connects Velachery to Chennai Beach route.Near from Bharati nagar bus stop.
The platforms and trains are well maintained! Trains always arrive on time :) This metro incorporates card system and has a vending machine to recharge your cards which makes the travel hassle free for the. Passengers! The price of the tickets are expensive . Parking is also available!
This station is still need more improvement. It is very difficult to find out ticket counter, it is placed end of the station. In station there are escalators there, in both platforms working fine. Platforms and entrance places look bad and not secure places for passengers.
Journey cost 10rs with return. Easy access to temple town mylapore,chennai citi centre and marina beach ,light house ,cheppakkam stadium from here. Its operation sometime canceled during Sundays. Happy journey
It's nice and it's the first underground metro in the Chennai city. And it has highly safety barrigade between the platform and the train entrance that opens automatically when the rail comes. And the service is really good. But people's should maintain it too.
Convenient, lots of parking space, needs maintenance, improved, I guess, but still lacks cleanliness, could be maintained a lot better. Considering the heavy usage, making it better is essential for the commuters then it's up to the commuters also to help maintain the place and trains.
