A Nice Sri Lankan grocery shop. Found most of the typical Sri Lankan grocery items you use on a daily basis. Maybe one should be mindful when buying certain vegetables.
Good South Asian, South Indian, super market. Particularly, Tamil based food items, fresh greens, fresh sea food, meat, pottery rice varieties etc.
Good selection of Tamil, South Indian and Sri Lankan groceries. The savory items are fresh and tasty.
Non descript and unassuming Pakistani / Indian grocery store, from the outside. But it is well stocked and generally has everything you would need. Has a hot food take out counter with various kebabs, tandoori, biryani options (we haven't tried these so cant speak about favour and quality)
My husband and mother in law have been coming here for years---never to disappoint, telling everyone about this wonderful place. Today he brought home groceries and takeout. I was (for the first time) disappointed that the chicken biryani has potatoes. It never included potatoes. Out of curiosity I googled "chicken biryani with potatoes", and ALL responses are the same: potatoes are added to cut costs, for those who cannot afford meat (chicken). Please don't keep the potatoes---remove the potatoes. I think the large chicken biryani had 1/3 potatoes....not good. Potatoes added is no longer "chicken biryani" but "pulao". I asked my husband if he watched as the food was placed into the container. He said it was hidden behind everything else in the corner, making it difficult for him to see what was being placed into the container from the big tub. Bring back the normal amount of chicken and remove the potato. Chicken has not increased in price so much that you have to use potatoes now. Hopefully next time there will be no potato in the chicken biryani.

And sold an old stock, no matter how many times we washed it the rice was stinking so bad. When we went back to the store they said they will not take returns and said no one picks that rice brand, but they were the one who recommended that rice brand when we came other day.

Go-to-place for Sri Lankan groceries in Toronto where you can find anything you want from your home choices. Be careful when you buy seafood, sometimes they are not rotten due to the logistics delays.
Best grocery store in town! Their food is great quality, prices are very reasonable, and their staff is as friendly as it gets! Try the cookie butter!

Visited this store on my friend recommendation. It is one of the famous Pakistani store in Mississauga.
The store has wide variety of grocery stuff, vegetables and meats. You can find everything at one stores if you are looking items from Pakistan.
They also have take away restaurants within the store. Sadly there are not many vegetarian options.
The store is also famous for their home made kheer. It is one of their signature dish.

Fantastic Pakistani food! Great for takeout and they cater too. When you arrive there is a huge hot table area. I love getting their lunch specials, great value for the amount of food they give you. In the back of the store you can do your grocery shopping. It's a one stop shop, do your groceries and take home hot food at the same time. You got to check it out!

The back part feels a bit industrial rather than retail but it's an old store in a medium space trying to make it work.
Service is fast and friendly and products are great. Well priced too. Wish the meat shop had more steak and sausage offerings though. Caters more for south Asian tastes.
