I bought one big Ayer for $295.00 and one big Boal. I didn't try Boal yet. I tried their Ayer fish. The Ayer was so frozen in their freezer for such a longer time that it lost its taste and texture. It was very hard to cook. I believe they sold it out to adjust their financial loss at the cost of depriving their customers.
Bought frozen vegetables in a sealed pack. The pack was opaque and I couldn't see the vegetables inside. But after going home and unfreezing it. It smelled bad and I had to throw it. It turns out to be very old and bad quality. Do not buy anything you can't see or feel in your hands. You are risking your health.
They sell expired damaged good. I was dropping someone off nearby so thought of checking this place out. So bought this aamra achar. After opening came to a shock seeing fungus was growing on the inside. Fungus is only visible when it has been rotten for weeks. Thank god I found the receipt in the dustbin. The manager was rude to me too when I went to return. Anyways, buy food at your own risk.
A chinese supermarket with a fair and some with above price groceries store well known in Mississauga area, not only you can shop chinese food items, but also its reasonable food and dried products that come from other countries.
I went to meat section and after the staff weighted the meat it was 3lb, then I saw him steal a piece of the meat, I told him to weigh the meat again and he refused first then he raised his voice then he put the meat really quickly on the scale so I wouldn't see the number on the scale, I went home to check the weight I saw it was missing 1 LB. Be careful and ask to reweight the meat. I don't recommend
I mostly shop at Btrust for vegetables and meat and fish. I prefer the butcher shop option as I get to see what it is I'm buying. Not a fan that the fat is not removed before weighing or that the meat is completely frozen so most of my money is being wasted on ice and fat which is not consumable. They have a butcher shop that asks you how you like your meat cut and then they cut it how they want it. English seems to be a challenge with the butchers. Or maybe they just don't care. The butchers are very dismissive of your request. I do not prefer pre-packaged meat as there are times when you go home to cook the meat and it is not fresh. What they show you is the good side and when you open your packaged meat it's a different story. The fish oh lord the fish. You have to inspect the fish thoroughly. I sent my mom to get the snapper they had on sale and when she came home $43 worth of fish and the fish was rotten on the insides. Gills, stomach grey black not to mention the smell. Do not pay to have them clean your fish as you will be cleaning the fish when you get home. They charge extra for cleaning and when you look at the fish you paid to have cleaned the scales are still under the belly and tail, gills and the stomach lining is still intact. I've given up on purchasing fish there because of these ongoing issues. The hot table is a hit or miss sometimes the food is really good sometimes it is not. No consistency in flavor or taste. It's very hard to find someone to assist you in the store as once again English is a barrier. As per the pricing it's like any other grocery store it depends on what's in season you get it on sale. I do find Btrust a bit pricier than the other surrounding Asian grocery stores. There are three stores within 5km of each other. When it first opened the store was very clean however the upkeep needs some attention. I find that the vegetables spoil quickly so buy what you need. Just because it is on sale doesn't mean to stock up as you will be wasting your money in the compost. The pre-packaged veggies same story as the pre-packaged meat one side is good the other not so good. You'll be losing a lot of your produce when you have to cut off the spoiled parts. I've been shopping at Btrust for years now and decided to give a review as these issues are no longer a one-off it's ongoing. With the rising cost of food, consumers should be able to buy groceries with confidence that the quality is the best.
Very disgusting today. Went to btrust to buy meat, while standing waiting for service at the meat counter an employee who was cutting meat behind the counter with his bare hands put a finger in his mouth to pick his teeth, (maybe he just finished lunch) and then continue to cut more meat! I wanted to vomit!!🤢🤮 NO HYGENE WHATSOEVER! The employee is usually wearing a black cap.

I just came to the store to check the loto today. This was my first time checking the loto and I asked him to check the loto. He said to check the loto in the loto machine so I don't know how to do it. I asked the owner how to do it. Then he started telling how to do it. Then he started to giving me attitude and shouts "JUST LISTEN. WHY ARE YOU NOT LISTENING" Then I got angry. Then he sweared at me and then I was about to throw my hands on him but I did not because there is cameras around. So I sweared at him backThen he said that he will call the cops and kicked me out of the store for know reason just for checking lotos. This worst customer service. I recommend not to go to this store. Worst experience I had.
This is my humble request to all Canadian Citizens to boycott Kabul Farms specially the one on Dundas\Parkerhill Street in Mississauga. The staff they have do not deserve to be in Canada. Very bad and ignorant staff specially people at meat section. The ladies on reception are typical third world country staff. I saw few of them stuff expired and reported them, instead of apologizing they were asking me if I still want to buy. I will report this particular store to most of government departments and make sure they remove such stores that doesn't deserve to be part of Canadian stores. I will also report to CRA to investigate if they are hiring illegals or paying cash to their employees because it seems like the staff they have on meat section have no clue of customer service.
Most arrogant and disrespectful staff. They prefer selling stale produce and the lentils infested with worms. I had to throw sealed bags of lentils, poha and sooji which had worms in it. They try to push you to buy non fresh produce and expect customers to not complain. I’ll never be going to this store for Indian groceries. I’m giving a 1 star as zero was not an option. In todays day and time for people to behave with customers as if they don’t care is very astonishing. I’m sure people will see through their behaviour and low quality products and choose better stores with polite staff.

Asian supermarket. Nice fresh veggies & fruits at good price. Our favourite is the fish tank area with Striped bass at fantastic pricing, pulled from the tank & professionally Cleaned !!!
The Dim Sum cooked area is another, really nice area with good value.

We have shifted to a new area and I wanted an Indian store to be at a convenient place from our house so I searched for an Indian store on Maps and found Thiara Supermarket. We visited Thiara and I was not disappointed. I was in search of paan leaves for some ritual and I found it here. They have fresh vegetables too.

This place has always been our go to place for any Bengali grocery need or fishes to our liking! Never been disappointed. Only if we got to know their reopening dates/ tentative reopening date then I believe that would help many. Hope they come back even stronger after the fire!

However, we are here to learn more about Philippine products as well as cultural food and how it's used or made. Most of the groceries here are higher priced when compared with most of the Asian groceries around the area.
It's understandable that some staff feel miserable when inquired, but not to a point of cursing and ignoring a customer not answering an inquiry that just happened and acting busy. That's why these 3 stars appeared and I think I'm generous.
With the exception of one or two staff that are once in a while having such issues, will still give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe having a bad day. Overall, great!!

My favourite Asian supermarket in the area. The market has almost everything you need, from all sorts of Asian (any origin) to some of the freshest produce at great prices.
I come here for all my needs in terms of vegetables and fish, the goods are fresh and sells fast.
They also have a great hot table area for freshly made hot food. I absolutely love it, and the prices are great.

Placed an order for aloo tiki, and it was great. They even delivered timely, the cost was effective. Love their food! Definitely going back there.
My go to for fresh veggies and fruits. Fresh seafood and meat counters at the back and the BBQ pork is good for taking home and making bbq pork friend rice. Check it out and you won't be disappointed
I like their Crispy Town and Grill City hot tables. A little expensive but as a treat once in a while it’s good. Groceries here a little more expensive than other places.
I had a great first experience there yesterday! I will for sure be back. The selection was amazing! The fresh samosas were very yummy. The wide selection is fantastic. I've also never seen banana jello before!
I went with my baby, is it fake cart? Baby cannot sit in the cart because there's no place to put legs. In addition, the lady in the food court is extremky lame and slow. People was on the long que but they still didn't care, just tried to waste customer's time. Lastly, it's dirty place, they try to look clean but it's fake, cart were dirty, food court was dirty, would never go again.

I like this supermarket. This supermarket sells a lot of Asian products. There are lots of Chinese and Filipino products here. They have ready to go meals here selling mostly Chinese cuisine.
Variety of goods and services by staff is pleasant, actually helpful.I found all that I needed in my grocery list of items. 👍
All the Indian products are available in the store. Rather than that bread pakora and chaa are very tasty there.
Price looks like costly here. But most of the south indian groceies we can get it here. Not suitable to buy a vegetables here its too costly. I bought Idhyam Gingelwy Oils, Aachi Masala, other India masalas
Seafood City, Mississuaga is our favourite place for pork BBQ, chicken skin and pork rinds. Though we are very close to Scarborough Branch, we still travel far just to satisfy our cravings. Foods we ordered here always tasted better than from the other branch. For example the chicken skin, I don’t know why it’s coated with something… like flour, which I didn’t like. From then on, I never went back there. So, on top of our faves we added grilled pompano fish, halo-halo and buko pandan drink. I ordered 2 halo-halo and we both didn’t like it. Jackfruit was hard too. I was also looking for fresh lumpia but nothing to be found. I don’t know when did they stop selling this good food that brings back goldilocks times. 🤗 I also missed their special garlic vinegar that you can just get for free if you need for your chicharons.

I bought green beans vegetable from Asian food centre Mississauga, that was very yummy and fresh. I will recommend everyone to try different vegetables from there.
We can get all the necessary Indian groceries and vegetables and flowers at affordable price. Including my favorite Sundakkai, Vazhapoo(banana flower) and Vazhai thandu(banana stem).
Too crowded with accessories, same items had two different price tags, asked the cashier, she replied “the higher price item was recently received and the lower price was received long time ago”. I bought 6 of them with two different prices.
I like the taste and quality of their meats. Also that's great that you can find fresh bread in this store just if they make the breads more crispy that would be great!

One of the few Indian grocery stores in Erin Mills. Little on higher side but good option for last minute grab and grow.

DO NOT SUPPORT. I came here to write about my experience only to find out so many others have gone through the same thing. It is genuinely shocking how many people this man has wrongfully accused of stealing. You would think he would be more careful but his attitude is very demeaning. I have never experienced this at another store and he turned it around to seem like I had made a mistake. Apparently you aren’t allowed to bring anything without him thinking it belongs to his store. Do not support this type of behaviour!!!!!
The store has ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE customer service and disrespects their customers for no reason at all. Owner can’t even stand up to his own mistakes and apologize for disrespecting customers after falsely accusing his customers. I recently went to this store looking for an item that I couldn’t find and while leaving the store empty handed I saw the owner call out “hey”“ come here” in a rude tone treating us like kids although we’re both grown adults, he started saying that that these sports equipment we had in our hands needed to be checked then started to falsely accuse us for taking it from his store since he was selling a similar item. After we repeatedly mentioned that they were ours he said we still shouldn’t have went in without letting him check the equipment first, and kept saying that we shouldn’t have went in with “his” equipment since he also sells them although we both kept telling him we weren’t aware he was also selling those items. I then told him that he could check him cameras for proof only to tell us that the item isn’t that big of a deal after making a whole scene in front of many people in and outside of the store. I am very disappointed that I was publicly humiliated and accused for stealing items that were clearly mine, and the fact that once he realized he was at fault instead of apologizing he kept arguing back and trying to cover up his mistake by saying “just show me next time” although it’s not one of the stores rules. I would’ve appreciated an apology after such humiliation that lasted awhile and being treated like a kid getting told to come here when he could’ve easily kindly asked to check the items with a simple please but the owner couldn’t even apologize after the whole situation ended.
I have been going to Asian food center . Usually their food is alright not saying it's really good but alrite . Today I bought paneer pakore and veggie pakore. First thing both chutneys were watered down no flavour at all and paneer pakora doesn't have any filling in it . No flavour again . Very much disappointed. wasted my $80 bucks .hope you guys do better

The seafood city supermarket is located in the heartland centre. This is a Philippines supermarket catering to their community. The supermarket is super clean and well stocked. It has a food court that serves a variety of food items and a meat and extensive fresh seafood section. Prices aren’t cheap compared to other super markets.
Our experience was positive visiting first time at this Bangladeshi grocery store. Their meat and seafood sections are rich, and have good quality. The price seemed reasonable to us. With the grocery store, they also have a snack bar. The staffs were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
Good selection of grocery but staff are not very helpful. Needed help with a particular spice. Person kept pointing at an aisle and said look their with not much help.

I have been here only once after being referred by my friend. The main reason for my visit was to buy fish. They have lots of Indian & asian fish varieties like sankara, maththi, Pomfret, Kingfish and etc.. Sorry, I am sure I am missing some good varieties of fish. On top of it, they have prawn, crab, and squid. They have meats as well. Fish and meat looked so fresh. Also, they cleaned it very well, unlike oceans' fresh food market. They are respectful, too. They have lots of groceries. I bought Anil semiya, dry fish, some specific greens like vallarai keerai, modakaththan keerai and so on. I felt some items were pricy, but still, I liked it. So rating 5. I will visit frequently here on. It's a compact supermarket with lots of items stuffed in.

I m disappointed with their service I order aloo Partha , okra and 2 naan, it was so bad in taste …. Aloo Partha is too thick with no spices at all … naan is burned , and from okra a bad smell is coming I don’t know why … I waste my money … very very bad experience , I just throw all food 🙏

One of the super market in Mississauga area where you get South Indian groceries. They do have fresh fishes as well. They have plenty collections of South India spices and vegetables. This place is little congested. However they have all kind of Indian/Tamil/SriLankan/South Indian masalas.
I got super excited seeing all the South Indian items and bought stuffs for 200 dollars. Fresh veggies were fine but dry items are all spoiled. Rice, urad dal and some other spices smelled so bad to the extent that I had to throw them to keep my house not smelling garbage. I will not recommend buying dry items from here
Overpriced as compared to competitors, I just came from Panchvati, which is a few blocks away, and prices are lower there vs. here. The rest store was not clean, and lots of stuff was disorganized, but that's with every Indian and Pakistani store, as you want to cramp everything in little space possible. If you want to save money, try a different store.
I am obsessed with Seafood City because of their amazing Filipino style BBQ! I will always make a visit to pick up their pork and chicken BBQ skewers. They're freshly grilled and just delicious. Besides that, although I do love their selection of Filipino and other asian snacks- the same products are more expensive at Seafood City compared to Oceans and T&T Supermarket.
The best , tastiest and fresh meat in Mississauga so far . Never disappointed. Also the prices are very reasonable.
The only place I needed to be when I need to get asian stuff and Filipino food. The place is clean and organized, well ventilated. The staffs are nice and helpful too.

The store owner accused me of tampering with my digital Photo ID, which I had provided for a money-transfer service I needed, and proceeded to yell at me.
As I began to deny his baseless accusations and retaliate, the store owner suddenly realized their mistake and instead of sincerely apologizing, he muttered:
“oh, sorry, I didn’t look at the issue date”; while zooming in and out of my phone.
When I questioned him and asked him why he so comfortably accused me of such a huge offence, he turned on me and yelled at me for “lecturing” him for his horrible customer service. He had his assistant with him who graciously came by to speculate and walked away knowing it was his fault, but stayed quiet. He did not care that he had other customers in his store.
To make matters even worse, he stated that he was offering the service as an “exception” in the first place, as digital ID is NOT accepted:
1) What makes me an exception? He did not know me and just wanted my business.
2) Why would you claim to do a “favour” for a random customer and then proceed to remind them of it?
3) Why would the owner initially inform me that digital ID was accepted when it was not?
The store owner's behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, disrespectful and showed a complete lack of empathy. I was deeply disappointed by the customer service provided by the owner store, and I will NOT be returning here in the future.
I would not recommend this store to anyone due to the poor customer service and the owner's unacceptable behavior. If you are looking for a reputable business with better customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere and avoid Big Bazaar at all costs. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I hope that others do not have to go through the same situation.

Prices are way high compared to Brampton stores , but they had everything and also Perfume shop inside .
Great store selections. Great customer service provided. Came and got beef paya small cuts done well by manager waqar: very kind and quick in getting it done. Owner Omar was also polite and welcoming.
It’s a great Asian supermarket and stocks a good variety of products. The prices are reasonable but the quality of the fresh products needs improvement. However, the meat section is an exception; the meat variety is great and always fresh. The in-house bakery is also one of the best if you like flat bread (barbari). The staff are not always friendly (except the meat section) and the place needs to be more organized and clean. There is one accessible parking in front of the supermarket.
Be very careful when you bill your products in this store. Though I was wrongly billed for 45 dollars. When went today for correction again faced several wrong calculations of the billing amount and paid extra 3 dollars today. Be extra careful, wrongly people are taking more money from us. First of all products are overly priced. Faced issue 3 times now. I will stop going to this store in future. Bad experience again today. Not recommending anyone

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL, SINCE I WENT HERE TODAY AND I WAS 10¢ SHORT WHEN I HAD TO PAY $4.10 FOR 3 BUBBLE GUMS AND A PEPSI SOFT DRINK!!! It’s one of the best neat and clean Indian grocery store in Toronto.. it’s includes lots of variety of Indian grocery items , fruits, vegetables, spices , meat, fish etc . It’s sweet section is an added bonus to us..people are really nice and helpful.. quick check outs.. have separate parking available..highly recommended..good luck..way to go..

Visited this place on couple of time as I preferred to try out place before posting review. It is good place to buy south Asian groceries. They got good collection of south Asian food items and many things you will not find anywhere. Specially if you are looking for Chawarka Water (very good for kids digestion), Sauf Water and others
Also there is food counter inside the store and you can buy snacks and other food. I liked noodle samosa and bread. Taste is good but not there speciality.

The location is both clean and old. It occasionally has excellent produce, such as vegetables and fruits. I got some of the meat they sell, and it's delicious. The meat is also halal. They sell a variety of nuts. The store accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, and maybe NFC payments.

Carry all desi essential items. They have two cash registers when they saw the lineup the other cashier jumped as well so it was pretty quick.

Visited yesterday, tried their mutton karhai. Excellent taste. Loved it. They have fresh meat available. That is plus point. As a buyer one can select meat of his/her own choice and order mutton karahi. Staff is friendly. Above all neat and clean place.
I go for the mini samosas and jilabi, they are always fresh and consistent with the taste 365 days. Love the service and very polite staff always friendly and helpful.
The butchers are complete liars. Went back home and weighed the meat, it was off by 20%. Had to go back and argue for five minutes until they weighed it themselves and fixed it.

Good Tamil and South Indian grocery. They do have fishes and meat. Rare authentic items available. Will visit again. Lot of native greens (keeraigal) available .. Wood pressed sesame and groundnut oil available .. the cashier is very helpful ..

I have been shopping here for the last five years. You get most of the items in this place and you don’t have to go to different places for Indian grocery shopping. The price is almost similar to super stores and other Indian stores. They are clean, they also sell readymade food like samosa, tepla, dabeli, Chapathi, etc.
I haven’t found Indian filter coffee powder at this place and all types of Indian utensils. Other than that, they kind of have everything. They have reasonable types of vegetables, frozen vegetables and food items. The staff is really friendly, courteous. They sometimes even help you carry the items to the car if you are overloaded.
The only problem is you must buy for $5 if you want to use a card. So make sure you have buy everything in one shot or have $5 cash on you if incase you forget a small item.

Good varieties in indian cosmetic items like hair oil and patanjali products which are quite rare to get in some indian stores. Vegetables and fruit were fresh and almost every fruit, vegetables were there. Cashier was nice to me so does other staff persons. Only issue I have is price. Indian snacks Prices(less varieties) were little higher than other every store I have visited. Good place to visit. Thank you.
Since the new owners took the charge of this place, the place turns into amazing Desi Super store, with delicious food take out. Place is clean and the prices are reasonable compare to other stores. Its one stop shop for most of my groceries. Staff is very friendly and helpful. KUDOS to Pak Darbar team and owners.
It's a good store not huge but you can find all necessity items here ... staff is friendly and not busy like iqbal foods or other big stores and you can pickup or shop all your halaleat groceries here ... prices are fine they have a take out food restaurant and halal meat section as well ..

Great place for halal meat! Butchers are very kind and helpful. Unlike most halal stores they actually understand what I'm trying to order. The lineups are usually short.
Great neighborhood desi grocery. Very friendly staff, good variety of essential everyday items. Excellent quality halal meat with quick service.

Found stuffing was stale. Called to inform, and they wasted my time in understanding my concern by asking what’s stale? Thank you brother Jitender for wasting more time to ask for photos of receipt and samosa.
Best part is he wants me to get the samosas back.

We moved in the Meadowvale area in September 2019 from the East Credit area and needed a new Indo Pak grocer shop we can go to on a regular basis.
Well I think we found our spot. From the photos you can see that this place is clean and well organized. We also can pick up fresh fruits and vegetables besides the other things we shop for here.
The customer service staff seems to be very good. Always very helpful and knowledgeable if you any questions about finding something.
We do time to time pick up a pack of home made Allo (Potato) Partha which we find very tasty.
Though I never had the veggie samosas from there, one customer was raving about them how much she loves them with the chutney and she was going to have them for her Super Bowl party!!
Anyhow, keep up the good work and we will be back to shop often.

I don’t know if you can call this a grocery store. It’s more of a Dollar Store than a grocery store. Don’t expect to find your fruits and vegetables here. Their grocery is limited to mostly frozen items and some limited selection of breads. They also have a good selection of Pakistani spices.
What I really like is their non-grocery aisles which have a lot of stuff you don’t find at your regular dollar stores.
Small annoyance is that some items don’t have price stickers on them so you don’t really know how much they are until you get to the cash register.
Overall good neighbourhood convenience store.

Store was DISORGANIZED. The sweets I ordered tasted OLD and had very LITTLE FLAVOUR. Service here was OK, prices were OK but a few things here are OVERPRICED. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
I would never ever recommend Asian Point to anyone. I called in at 9:10 and asked in English if they carried hot dogs. The man who answered the phone said yes in Urdu, however, he didn't even speak English and hung up abruptly on me. I don't speak fluent Urdu. I quickly went over to Asian Point and arrived at 9:23 (before their closing time). The store was closed already and there was a man sitting inside. I knocked on the door and he didn't even want to respond to open it. The older gentlemen just stared at me through the window.
When I inquired about the hot dogs, he said that they ran out of them and said the butcher answered my call and wrongly answering my inquiry. I asked where he was and he said he left 5 minutes ago. I would like to point out that butchers don't answer phone calls at the store. They slaughter meat.
This trip to Asian Point was a complete waste of time for my family and I. If there was an option to give no stars, I would have done just that. Please save yourself the hassle and stress and avoid this place at all costs!

This is a very clean Bangladeshi grocery store selling chicken, meat, fish, fresh vegetables and all sorts of the other grocery items. The store is fairly well organized. There is ample parking outside. The store associates are very helpful. If you live in North York, Mississauga, Etobicoke, etc this is a much closer option than going to Danforth to shop.
