Great view of the lake.
The best water fountain in the city is here.
Sprays so much water and high, hardly any bending over.

Clean and peaceful beach area with everything you might need- restrooms, ample of free street parking, playground for kids with great shade in summers, boardwalk, picnic area. Few
people enjoying kite surfing on waves.
Small play area big green ground for kids and nice place in the neighbourhood... children can play and be safe ..two slides and a water pad which works in summers.
beautiful place to visit, you can do anything, walking, running, biking, make nice pictures even a picnic, I enjoy this beautiful place any season

Ok, the Don Valley is awesome. A gift. 500 acres + of parkland, ravine. Loads of trails, nature and wildlife - saw two deer the other day. So 6 / 5 on the awesomeness of that gift. 3 / 5 on keeping it clean. Just picked up 2 jammed contractor size garbage bags full of tossed trash on 100 metres of Bayview Ave, adjacent to the Don Valley. ........
Don't Mess with the Don and amazing volunteers have taken over 275,000 lbs of litter out of the Don Valley ravine in 5 1/2 years.
Was good but being parallel to a main highway not sound proof. Also I could not find the toilets

The waterfalls are nice and it is a mini park and close to union station in addition it’s 1-2 meters to the TTC bus / street cars . Nice layout flowers and glass ball mirror art instalment.

We had an awesome day biking from one side of Toronto to the other. We definitely got stuck in the rain, but it was worth it. You don’t even feel like you’re a city when you’re on the trail. Easy to hike, a bit more complicated to bike, but a great spot no matter what.
Very nicely built! We rode bikes here from Tommy Thompson park.
Another great park, in a calm residential area, with an amazing splash pad for the fun of the children.
Tennis courts are unplayable. Bad condition. Cracked asphalt and weeds. The city puts up nets but why?

Balmy Beach Park in Toronto is an absolute gem! Its picturesque location along Lake Ontario provides breathtaking waterfront views and a serene atmosphere. The park boasts a well-maintained and spacious green space, perfect for picnics, outdoor games, or simply relaxing. The sandy beach offers a wonderful spot for sunbathing and swimming during the summer months. With well-kept facilities, including clean washrooms and ample parking, it's a hassle-free destination. Families will love the playgrounds and scenic walking trails. Whether you're seeking tranquility or recreation, Balmy Beach Park is an idyllic escape in the heart of the city!

A bit short on street parking but haven't had a problem finding a space on the weekday- early afternoons. Great beach to visit within the city, peaceful and there is a nice playground available. Very nice that there's a bathroom.
Promise party anyone? Or dare I say after hour free bush parties. This place is a great spot for all outdoor night time beach parties. They have life guards during the day and people bring their boats close to park nearby, so they can hear the music during sunday's in the summer.
Balmy Beach is our go-to destination for both summer picnics and winter hikes! During the summer, we love the clean beaches and ample space for picnics and kids' play. The scenic hiking trails in winter are equally enjoyable. The only downside is the limited parking space, so you'll need some luck to find a spot close to the beach. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for outdoor fun throughout the year!

This trail with serene ponds and towering trees is a perfect retreat for nature lovers. Jog, cycle, or relax amidst the tranquil atmosphere. Tall trees and resting areas make it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts.
Do lookout for speeding cyclists 😉
Parking is like $6 for 2 hours.
There is only one sculpture at this garden

Relaxing except for too many cyclists speeding thru the trail. Not much to see.
Nice playground ... water running, many children enjoying... it has tenis court, baseball field, covered area... shade
Cool place to take the kids...
A hidden gem of Toronto. Great place for the entire family. There are no tables for picnic here.

Love this place.. so serene.. if you’re lucky you’ll go on a day when there’s not much of a crowd and the place is peaceful you can hear the waters from far away.. if you go close the broadwalk is amazing.. really nice place to just pause and chill.

Great trail for walking, running or biking when it's bright. Won't recommend going after sunset. It gets a little sketchy.

Loved the trail here. It’s very scenic and when we went it was still cold. Cannot wait to do it again in the summer when all the greenery has come back out

With evergreen brick works right around the corner this is the perfect spot to get a coffee or snack and then go for a little hike and then end off with a stroll through the evergreen market

If you’re lucky, there could be events that go on as well for people to enjoy.
It's a nice place BUT the fact the city of Toronto isn't maintaining the washrooms is disgusting. Can't be used because septic tank is full! That should not happen when that is a scheduled maintenance.

I liked my time at the sculpture garden. They currently are featuring a Black Artist and the work is absolutely stunning. If you’re looking for a private place in the city come here. You may have to share with others but the serenity is well work it. I do enjoy this area of kings street, but I would not come in the night time. There is a bigger park right across the street.
Hidden gem of the city. Lots of parking. Great for kids and washroom facilities on site! Recommended to all. Close to Cherry Beach so added amenities close by.

Great place to take your kids to ride. It is paved trails and it is very flat. I can't believe we saw deers too.
Very calm and wonderful garden
What a beautiful park! Great for kids. Open fields, baseball diamond, water splash pad, and engaging play scape. No parking lot but lots of street parking.

I absolutely fell in LOVE with Mother Earth today! This trail is truly a hidden gem - full of wonder, wildlife and the most picturesque spots! Listening to the toads croak, the birds sing and the wind through the trees made for the perfect soundtrack. I definitely cannot wait too see this trail in the fall.

In my opinion, this trail is so beautiful, especially in the autumn. Beautiful place for taking pictures. The trail is not crowded. It has a long flat trail, very nice for walking while taking pictures. Those tall trees a long the trail were beautiful with yellow leaves.

Parking fee is $8 all day, or $2 for two hours

I give the park and the Lower Don River Trail 4 star for it's natural beauty and the way it's kept untouched at the heart of the city.
But I got one star back because there are no seats or any washroom facility along the trail (unless we get further off the trail).

I understand that we don't want to disrupt the natural environment by construction, though, at least seats along the trail at safe places and environmentally-friendly structures and washrooms do help to attract more people and the ones who can't walk long trails without getting rest along the way on seats.

This good trail also needs more access by providing more entry paths to the park from all neighbourhoods around the area.
Good for a day and bring your picnic and enjoy a beach day!
Nice spot with splash pad, baseball diamonds and walking path

Cute small island with nice views
This park was great. The splash pad and play area are in full sun but the sun wasn't too bad. The park does not have a fence to contain young kids. The sand box is great and in a shady area, I wish I brought toys for the kids. There is no bathroom but there was a portapotty and my husband said it was clean.
If you're looking for a gorgeous day out on an amazing island right in the city look no further. Grab a bike and go up and down the little roads to see all the quaint cottages lining the path. I took my friend here and she was in awe so if you're gunning for a good day out, this is your omnipotent sign to grab someone gorgeous and make the most of the day with some island vibes
Perfect place for a Park with so much foot traffic and or bikes traveling the trails of the Don River. Just needs some picnic tables for the summer months. We made our way from Riverdale Park West today and hiked along the Don River up as far as Pottery Road and so much has changed over the years. I miss that wooden structure that we used to walk or bike on that passed under the bridges. Now the trail takes you away from the 2 bridges and no sign of the past.
The city allows field lights to burn all winter. But we can't spend a night here with out a ticket.
Not enjoyable garbage everywhere and crowded
A delightful oasis in the heart of Old Toronto. Sculptures change regularly.
Problem with this place is that it has become a hangout place for the homeless people who litter, booze and sleep there
Neat little place 👍🏻

Great views of the city. Wear comfy shoes or bring a bicycle (and a bike lock). There aresurfable waves on the beach in some spots if you're into that. Be sure to try the quad bike with friends to see the lighthouse and then walk over to snack at The Rectory cafe/restaurant. The ambiance is relaxing and green.
Great place. View is amazing. Great for photography

It's amazing. You Should definitely go if you like kind of Art tho!!😁
Love the island. Any time of the year is great!
Great place to spend some time at the playground area, awesome during the hot summer days with the new splash pad.
