Our favorite local mountain! You can enjoy it year-round, but my favorite season is winter. There are a lot of activities including skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. We can see Vancouver city and burrard inlet when it's sunny, and you might catch a glimpse of the sea of clouds. The staff is super nice.
We visited Grouse mountain around Christmas 2023. The gondola was packaged to capacity, but well worth the views and the scenic ascent up the mountain with picturesque views all the way round.
Beautiful little mountain with a ton of different activities like skating and skiing snowboarding walking trails and zip lining. Definitely worth looking and booking online as there was quite a line up for passes when we went on a Friday and Saturday. The lift up the mountain is super quick and very beautiful views once you get to the top! Wear warm clothes and good boots as there is a lot of snow if you are doing the walking trails. They have it very well maintained and safe. Lots of kids and all ages.

This place is really good during Christmas as they put up lighting and food for ice skaters(pro). As we went in a group and the family ticket was $119(limited offer) for 2 kids 2 adults we took that. We also have an ice skating rink for beginners and children. It would cost 10$ for skate rentals. Overall it's a good experience for the first timers and visit during snow time.

Wonderful experience. Originally, I expect that I will just view the whole city with little snow. By the end, I can walk through the whole trial covered with wide range of snow. My spouse and I enjoyed the whole afternoon. In the late evening, after the Christmas light has switched, the view is really amazing.

This was at least my sixth time here, I love grouse mountain any time of year and recommend it to anyone. It’s not cheap, but you’re taking a gondola to a ski resort right next to the city with insane views when the visibility is good, what else would you expect?

Taking the Grouse Grind up in the summer is especially fun since you’re almost always rewarded with an epic view, but note you’ll have to pay a small amount to download.

The skiing doesn’t have the best conditions usually, and there are lots of Jerries (people who aren’t beginners who still don’t know what they’re doing), but the vibes are great and the views are epic when it’s clear out.

There's no better way to view Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest. Everywhere you look is gorgeous.
Gondola up and then chairlift to the peak. Busy summer day but still not crowded.
In terms of for money... well, it's a million dollar view. Definitely a must visit spot. Worth it for a few hours at the top. If you are a BC resident, let them know when you're buying your tickets and you'll receive a not insignificant discount.

First things first, gondola tickets are a LOT (75$ per person) but you get the best views of Vancouver, a pretty nice 45-minute Lumberjack show, two bears that live in a very large area, a bird show and beautiful wood carvings. The restaurants are decent but a little bit expensive.

If you have the courage and physical fit, I'd take the stairs up, but that is a long walk in itself.

Certainly not the cheapest activity in the Vancouver area, but it really is worth it. The gondola ticket gets you to the top of the mountain and then there are a number of excellent activities included in the ticket price, including birds of prey, a lumberjack show, ranger talks, an opportunity to see two rescued grizzly bears, and a 4-man chairlift to the summit for even more stunning views. We took a picnic up to the summit to avoid the wait (and, probably, cost) of buying food on the mountain. That said, there are a number of different places to grab lunch should you want to, as well as an ice cream stand, coffee bar, BeaverTails, etc..

Half a day is barely enough to see it all properly, and it could easily be a full day out. Note that, at peak times, you may need to wait to get both up and down the mountain on the gondola - we waited around an hour to get back down (from 16:00-17:00).

Overall, well worth a visit.

Very nice and fun for the whole family. You'll need a whole day to explore everything comfortably. They have a lot of informative, and funny shows. There's places to hike at as well.

One downside is that their food is overpriced. Overall a fun experience

We went during the summer and it was a great little tourist attraction with grizzly bears - Grinder & Coola - a Lumberjack show, Indigenous music, and wild birds of prey.

Recommend planning to spend at least a few hours here. The longest queue was taking the gondola down the mountain so plan on leaving taking a little longer then you would expect.

Got lucky and saw a beautiful Raven in the parking lot too.

There is a shuttle that takes you from Canada Place to Grouse Mountain that runs about every 30-45 minutes. If you are staying around downtown, use the shuttle to your advantage.

Excellent place to visit. Close to Vancouver city. Good parking. All day admission with most of the activities included except zip line is a great deal. We enjoy the Tram up to mountain, lumber jack show, cable chair ride, bird show, bear habitat and various talk. Great learning experience for children. Breathtaking views from the mountain and simply very beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. All day activity. Take water bottle, some snacks, hat, sun screen and enjoy. Restaurant is available on the top of the mountain which is a great option to but a little pricy as expected.
The gondola trip up and down is very pleasant
The person at the helmet provided great information
The walk around nature and the four legged residents are a real treat. The humans manning the place at all stations are very nice. We had a drink watching the sunset. The whole experience was extremely gratifying. Thank you!

Took my relatives here and it is a nice opportunity to see the changes it has made since the last time I went. The gondola was crowded and people are looking for good window views. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You gets views of urban and wildlife - it’s Vancouver after all which is nice. They have nice beach seats and picnic tables in most areas.

BRING BUG SPRAY - lots of mosquitoes during the summer and regretted not being prepared for that.

Highly recommend spending the day at Grouse Mountain. Make sure to watch one of the lumberjack shows.... it was a world class production and very well executed. Also take the complimentary ski lift up to the very, very top! Beautiful views! If you get hungry have a beaver tail, I recommend the classic. Great place!

This place is really worth your time. Even if you’re not a good skier, Mt Seymour accommodates you.

i worked here for two months before we closed for the season. it is an awesome community of staff and customers and was an amazing experience. it is one of the only family owned ski mountains in the lower mainland and is 100% worth the experience.

whether you want to apply to work here, or are looking for a place to shred, i’d recommend this mountain to anyone! see y’all again next season!

My favorite ski resort and amazing snowboarding experience for my third years. This mountain has the best snow condition of all the mountain in Vancouver. Terrain, trails, park were splendid. Amazing city view on top of the mountain. As a photographer, this mountain has many great scenes for photography.

I recently visited Mt Seymour Resort for a day of skiing, and while the slopes were shorter and the snow conditions weren't the best, I still had a great time. One of the advantages of this resort is that there were fewer people, so there was no need to wait in long lift lines.

The staff at Mt Seymour Resort were incredibly friendly and laid-back, which added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. They even played music and danced while helping visitors, which was a unique and fun touch.

Overall, while Mt Seymour Resort may not have the longest ski runs, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere made for a great experience. I would recommend this resort for those looking for a more low-key and laid-back skiing experience.

My girlfriend and I both got early bird seasons passes for the mountain this year and it was definitely worth it! One of our favourite mountains with great views of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland! They offer over 40+ runs with varying difficulties, a couple terrain parks, lots of fun tree trails to explore and have three operating chair lifts plus a magic carpet. We ski mostly during the weekdays so the chair wait times have never been long but I can't speak for the weekend. Definitely recommend skiing here especially if you live in the Vancouver area, we'll be back next year!
Beautiful but not very big. It’s the most affordable in the area and it’s great for beginner or intermediate skiers.

Did 2023 first snowboard run in Seymour this year. such a beautiful day, blue sky clear view, not too crowded and blessed to enjoy the amazing sunset view!
It would be nice if there's another coffee shop or their cafe, allowing guests to just sit indoor and enjoy the view with hot cocoa!
Data reception up there is really bad tho, and def should consider upgrading washrooms

A great local hill for beginner or intermediate skiers. The lines can get quite long and move quite slowly. It is the most affordable of the three North Shore mountains and their website for buying day passes has improved from last season. Try and avoid the busiest times if you want to get a lot of laps in (weekend mid-day).
