I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Avenue Lodge in Val D'Isere for my honeymoon, and I must say, it was an absolutely enchanting experience. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and impeccable hospitality.

The attention to detail at The Avenue Lodge is truly commendable. As soon as we entered our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne awaiting us, a delightful gesture to celebrate our special occasion. The room itself was stunning, exuding elegance and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day on the slopes.

Our dining experience at the hotel's restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. The culinary creations were simply exquisite, leaving our taste buds dancing with delight. To add to the already memorable evening, the staff surprised us with a cheeky glass of champagne to celebrate our one-week anniversary. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel even more cherished.

The Avenue Lodge also deserves praise for their choice of bath products. The l'otticane bath products provided in our room were luxurious and indulgent, adding to the overall pampering experience at the hotel.

One aspect that truly stood out during our stay was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They made us feel special and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. It was evident that they genuinely cared about making our time at The Avenue Lodge unforgettable.

All in all, I couldn't find a single fault with our stay at The Avenue Lodge. The beautiful surroundings, attention to detail, incredible dining experience, and the exceptional service provided by the staff made our honeymoon truly magical. We are already planning our return visit, as we cannot wait to create more cherished memories at this remarkable hotel.

PROS:
Location is very central, walking distance from the ski lift, best restaurants and shops.
Hotel is very nicely decorated, rooms are very cosy, comfy bed and bath tub.
Staff and concierge were very professional and helpful.
The Spa is quite enjoyable, with steam bath, 2 saunas, 2 jacuzzis and a pool.
Good international breakfast overall, with both sweet and savory options.
We would definitely stay again...

CONS: Unfortunately the room TV is not connected, nor using ChromeCast or Apple Play available in order to link the TV with devices.
The difficulty to reach the reception from the room phone.
Hotel staff must be careful with kids playing in the pool and being constantly very noisy, which is ruining a little the experience...

Our stay at Avenue Lodge in the week before Christmas was exceptional in every way. The hotel’s central location is perfect to enjoy all that the beautiful Val d Isere has to offer. The room was perfect; modern, stylish, well-equipped and had a fantastic view of the slopes from the balcony. A complimentary bottle of champagne in the room on my birthday was a wonderful touch. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful each and every morning. The spa and bar area were both lovely and provided a great opportunity to relax after a day on the slopes. Whilst all of the above were fantastic, the hotel’s most significant asset was its customer service - the concierge and reception staff were nothing short of phenomenal. Visiting the resort for the first time, the staff provided us with recommendations for activities and restaurants, made bookings for us and even provided us with a shuttle service to harder to reach venues. On our return each time they took a genuine interest in how we found the experience. The helpful, happy and polite demeanour of each and every member of staff was unparalleled in our opinion. We would return tomorrow without hesitation - an absolute gem of a hotel that all involved with should be very proud of.

We've stayed at Avenue Lodge every year for over 10 years now and it's always been a great experience. The staff are always friendly and personal and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are always well kept and very comfortable and every time we stay it feels like coming home! It's one of our favorite hotels to stay anywhere with easy access to everything you need.

Absolutely loved this place .. the extra touches were really appreciated..loved the ambience of the bar had a beautiful meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was fabulous..the staff were so lovely and I has a very relaxing afternoon in the spa. Fresh water everyday was a great bonus too. I can't wait to coke back, oh and the breakfast to go on our departure day at 5am was perfect! Thank you to all of you at the Avenue Lodge Hotel xx
