Great little park outside the stadium to stretch your legs, run a ball, play with kids
Nice equipments to play for all age kids. This is part of Blaxland Park. Lots of parking. But be careful and always park in bay. Parking rangers are very active here.

Large open grassed area next to the Olympic stadium. Has a public toilet next to it but no other facilities or shelter. A short walk from Olympic Park station as well as food and drink stores nearby. Good spot to attend concerts / festivals as well.
Relaxing. Wondrous. From the field to the river. Trees on the hill, and countless things for kids to do.

The cafe was good. Food was better than the price suggested.

A heavenly place for family and solo.
Village Green Playground is a great public space for anyone living around the area. Great facilities (when other people leave the BBQ clean), plenty of play area and shaded picnic spaces.playing soccer here is welcomed, best for kids highly recommended for Sydney residents
What a fantastic park! During the day the water play area is on. The slides, swings, tunnels eating areas are set out really well. There is plenty of space to accommodate large groups.

Kids will love it with so.much to play with
Great place for picnic spot highly recommend with kids.

Well lit and had families gathering around enjoying the park.
Toilets are clean.
Water stations are clean.
No eshays!
Bring insect repellent!
This riverside Park located in a very convenience area, it will only take less than 15 minutes to travel here from most of the popular suburbs. The park itself has beautiful scenery, many neat and tidy picnic tables with shelter and clean BBQ hotplates. Toilet and hand washing facilities are good too.
We were there along with family members to celebrate Shabana birthday, so she invited all Sydney families to Olympic Park.
Undoubtedly this is one of the best parks in Sydney region. It is big,it is not crowded,it has excellent land scaping, Lush green grass, cycling track,Riverside BBQ spots,Free Parking, excellent children playing areas with variety of swings, slides and climbing options.....
Just taking out one star due to Limited car parking.

This is a must visit Park believe me ! Recommended !

Huge park with many play equipment that is spread around the area. There are many shades but only few with tables. Bring your own mat for family outing which can be placed anywhere under the shades or on the open field.

I can not understand the good reviews. It's hilariously bad! This playground offers nothing but a hot surface, large dull structures where it's impossible to keep kids in sight line, slides that are burning hot at all times due to their material and no shade. Shame! Let aside the lousy parking situation! Oh and the tree house. Perhaps great for older kids.
And what’s the point of the BBQs and waterplay being miles away from the playground, close to the water's edge and next to a bike lane where people drive their bikes on steroids with no hindsight of kids?
This really is a terrific playground for younger kids. A good selection of different play sets, all well shaded. Easy parking and an excellent cafe nearby makes it a standout choice.

Been 15 years been taking my kids to Blaxland now teenagers still come here. Highly recommended for kids, family and friends.
This is still one of the best playgrounds in Sydney! Complete with water play area for kids, there is a flying fox, climbing wall up to the top of slides, big swings, tunnels and more. Grab a portable gas BBQ with you to make lunch of dinner while the kids play. You can happily be here for hours!

Parking is available in two areas. Down the bottom towards the water, and on top of the hill by the top of the park. Parking can be tricky as this park is super popular.

Silverwater Jail is next door but don't fear, the residents are well and truly contained.

If you want less crowds, best time to visit is early in the morning during weekends, or during the week.

Excellent use of public land after the Olympics. Really visionary planning, which is directly opposite to what is happening in Brisbane, where there is proposed removal of parks for games venues.
This is a Super Park for the family. Massive areas for yout picnic, bike riding, kicking the soccer ball etc. The play equipment is epic and kids absolutely love this super park. Car parking is difficult as it's very popular so arrive early. This is a 10 out 10 park.

This was a great space for the event I attended. it was easy to get to by public transport, it has playgrounds for kids, lots of shade from the sun, lovely grass areas to put a picnic blanket down or picnic tables and chairs for use, plenty of restrooms too. the water feature was a nice touch. This is a lovely park to visit.

Amazing vast park with amazing play equipment. Great for adults and kids alike. Really enjoyed the tree house climb!

Turn in from the gaol next door. For some reason I always miss the turn as you would not expect it to be so close but everything is very safe!

A definitive playground experience. This is how a playground should be built. Great variety of slides, ramps, climbing equipment and places to explore. Particularly enjoy scaling up the tree house. Visit on weekdays to avoid the crowds.

One of the best parks in Sydney. Even though it is but crowded it is still fine. There are plenty of play areas for kids to spend entire day. This park is unique in its own way. Adventurous nest, rope way, water park, playground etc.

This playground has so much to offer for children and adults. My favourite is the Treehouse because it's a pain to try and manoeuvre around it, but fun. It's very quiet during the week and gets very busy at the weekend. This playground is inside Blaxland Riverside Park which is a bonus. There's a kiosk next door and plenty of public lavatories. Highly recommended for everyone but come visit early morning or late afternoon, especially in hot weather.
To close parking .
To close food warmer .
Water tap .
Sedo roof to protect sunn.
Verry crowded by tree as well.
Close to wash room ,food court and hire bicycle for all adge including dubble joint bicycle and baby seat as well.
Always love this little playground and the cafe / toilets are close by. Theres a small playground, a sand pit,a spider climb. Kids can bike ride and theres a flat large lawn area for older kids to play as well.

What a fantastic park! During the day the water play area is on. The slides, swings, tunnels eating areas are set out really well. There is plenty of space to accommodate large groups.

Public toilets are located pretty far from the playground though.

If you plan to visit the park during the weekend or school holidays, you will need to get there early to get a parking spot as there is very limited spaces. Once the car park is full, you will need to park the car pretty far away and walk to the playground.

Cathy Freeman Park is superbly nested at the Olympics Park. Plenty of parking spaces and perfect setting for the recent Spring Cycle 2022 event
This is probably THE best playground in whole of Sydney and that's no lie. It has a flying fox, swings, tunnels, long slides, climbing ropes and more. The kids always have a fun time here and it's hard to drag them away when time to leave.

Grab a gas BBQ and make an afternoon of it. There is heaps here for the kids to keep them occupied.

Parking is available in two areas - down towards the water, and on the hill near the entrance. This park gets super busy so best times to avoid the crowds is either early in the morning on weekends, or during a weekday.

Lovely park, smack bang in the middle of Olympic precinct.

Unfortunately, lack of trees and shades (aside from the sides) makes it extremely hot in summer.

Good for walks and parks has amenities. Perfect for families on a day out with a picnic.

Also, the site holds several events throughout the year, ie. Royal Easter Show, Sydney Vegan Market.

There is a children's park, picnic area and of course a big shower area or what ever you say that. Water keeps pouring every 15 mins. A great place for picnic with family and friends.
Very nice and clean.
There is children under 7 good play ground cover by soft Flore and to many trees .
Really good if your kids falling off you no need to worry ,because complete safety .
Nearest toilet and drink water.and also lot off attractive place and train station just 200 MTR.
A beautiful green park with plenty of trees for a picnic in the shade, especially near the playground equipment for shelter while you supervise your kids.
Cafe a short walk across the field at the Waterview centre, they had slushies for the kids & coffee for the adults, so it’s a winner!
Playground equipment aimed more at 3yo-9yos, but there is also a climbing web for older kids and an all-access swing. Plenty of grass to kick a ball or throw a frisbee too.
Village Green Playground is a great public space for anyone living around the area. Great facilities (when other people leave the BBQ clean), plenty of play area and shaded picnic spaces.
Great place ! Amazing place with BBQ, car Park , toilet facilities and clean playground.
Highly recommended
