We have ordered 4 sabzi at the restaurant and We found hair in 3 dishes. Major lacking in hygiene i won’t recommend anyone to visit here. Pathetic experience. After complaining the manager is blaming us. Worst experience everrrrrr
The rajasthani thali tasted very good.
Also the table attendant Mr.Sartaj was friendly, polite and quick to serve. We liked the taste so much that we visited this restaurant for two consecutive days😋.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for the taste. Never had such a tasty Kachori.
Something I learnt from the owner today is that only Kachori is available till 2 pm. Other menus are subject to availability. You May not get other items at any time, they are available at morning time only.
Four wheel parking could be a little issue in this area, but DO NOT MISS THIS if you are a Kachori lover.

It is a good resturant and I love it and the food serve was also good , and the all over environment was also very good . I would visit it again if possible.
The food at Really Good Food was excellent, and Mr. Kamlesh, our server, was incredibly helpful and kind. He provided us with information about Rajasthani cuisine and how to enjoy it. Overall, the service was outstanding.

The Club Sandwich at Whistling Teal is like a flavor explosion in your mouth, with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy mayo all sandwiched between toasty bread. And don't even get me started on their Honey Chilli Potato – crispy, sticky, and just the right amount of kick to keep you reaching for more. It's the perfect combo for a casual, delicious meal out.

It is a very nice place to hang out with frnds n family. We used restaurant only so can't say about the rooms. It's a roof top restaurant with mesmerizing view of fatehsagar lake. Food taste is very good n customizable. Service is nice but there is waiting time of min. 10 mins for your order to be served.

Wow wow wow! What amazing food in a beautiful family restaurant. Proper, home made, tasty, and healthy food. I came for every meal during my time in Udaipur, I couldn't imagine that anywhere else had better food! The bindi (on the thali) is the best I've ever tried.
Booked a cooking course with the as after and it got even better. I have done a few classes in India and this was the best one. Learnt how to make some delicious things, including the aforementioned bindi, sag paneer, and banana Paratha! Highly recommended! The course and the food is also exceptionally good value also, much cheaper than the surrounding restaurants.

If you're in Udaipur, this is one place you cannot miss. Freshly made, super crunchy, really savoury & delicious kachoris, which will be fried right infront of you with the most delicious chutneys I've ever had anywhere in India. Infact, I got it packed, came all the way to Bangalore and opened it up maybe 7-8hrs later and the kachoris were still crispy and delicious. Must visit!
First visit after reaching Udaipur, wonderful Rajasthani breakfast made the day. Paliwal is famous for dal kachaudi, samosa, mirchi vada, aloo bonda and gulab jamun and we tried them all. Show stopper was his dal ki kachaudi, my mouth is going filled with water again while writing this review. A must visit and must try street food joint whenever visit Udaipur.

What a wonderful place which truly represents the colours of Rajasthan..awesome place awesome people. We had our stay at Jhadol Vijay Vilas. The staff over here is very helpful and along with the staff the hotel gives good vibes. Very cooperative staff in every sense and they try to make everything beautiful and better in every way. I have booked this place as my vacation home in Udaipur, whenever I will think of going Udaipur I will think of Jhadol Vijay Vilas. It truly feels like stay at home, aisa lagta h hum log apno ke beech hi hai..feels good for that and best part is we had the luxury of Ms. Pooja Chauhan who knows what is best for us and truly knows what fits for the comfort. She is like a sister to me and I am very honoured by the presence of her. God bless her. After dinner I asking tuborg beer for take away. The manager want only cash to give me beer , then I give him cash 350 for one tuborg beer . And he never give me invoice.i asking many times for invoice and wait but he passing out time . After over all will go without taking invoice. Location was good .food was good. 1. If you order pneer chilly they serve chicken chilly . So if you vegetarian then don't go there.

If you are visiting udaipur, note this place in your breakfast list. Kachori was too testy and khasta. They served it with some sort of tikhi and mithi chutney. Very delicious you will love it.

Very homely and tastey food, lunch, dinner, very close to Shree Jagdish temple. Pure vegitarian food so good for vegitarian people as in udaipur very few restaurants are pure veg. Owner uncle and aunty are nice in nature.
Highly recommend for all the food lovers to visit this place with an empty stomach. If you haven’t had a lip smacking vegetarian food then this is the place in Udaipur!!! This food & humble staff really makes you feel at home. Hospitality is 5🌟.

Rajasthani cuisine at its best! Every item in the thali is finger-licking delicious. The thali is almost impossible for one person to finish. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is peaceful. Loved the gatte ki sabji and dal bati.
PLEASE DO NOT COME ON BASIS OF GOGGLE REVIEWS. Because after having lunch they asked us to give our mobile to them to write review in google so basically all the reviews are written by them. I had very worst experience with this restaurant, i ordered KITKAT MILK SHAKE and actually they served KITKAT WATER SHAKE. And when i informed about the same they are conveying we dont add sugar and syrup. Taste of milk shake is weird as there was combination of water and kitkat instead of milk and kit kat. Other foods are average and waiting time for serving is almost 45 mins though public at restaurant was less around 2-3 tables.

I would advise you to ask for less chutney on the kachori & samosa, the chutney is too pungent and ruins the taste of the kachori/samosa.
Owner/s are very nice people.

This is a good place for food if you’re in Udaipur. However they take time to prepare your order and it may test your patience if you’re in hurry. Food is tasty and Ambience is good. Their tawa roti is quite good and Masala Papad is must to have. Chilly Paneer Dry is must to have and I think all their Paneer Dishes are good.
Rooftop restaurant ...the climb up will give you an appetite. Great service and food. Cook to your liking and ask and they will cook to spice level.
The place is quite famous for their kachoris in the town. You can find huge crowd especially during weekend mornings. I tried their khasta dal kachoris and they were nice. They are served with green and red chutney.

Family owned restaurant. The husband serves and the wife cooks, and even so the service is fast! Both very friendly and professional. The food is great and inexpensive, I went there for dinner and returned there the following day for lunch. But most of all, she hosts cooking lessons and you get to learn how to cook those delicious dishes! I highly recommend it!

The delicious food I had after a long time. The place is too good in terms of atmosphere, sitting arrangements, decoration, and for service as well.
The food we ordered was for 6 people and the food was served with good quantity and No doubt the taste was delicious.
The only thing which is a little thinkable is the price.

Lovely food - great selection of different types of foods and drinks. Food was very tasty - we both enjoyed it (paneer kadhai, paratha, naan & cocktails). Waiters very attentive even though it was very busy. Great views to the water.

The one of the best thing about this restaurant is its location. The location is situated nearby Lal ghat. The restaurant is a picturesque place because it has lake pichola view. The food is also good and have plenty of options. There are two seating arrangements, one is closed at ground floor and other is rooftop kind of open space. This is one of the best place to have food while watching sun-set.

It's a wonderful restaurant with the best food, view and service. We had a Tandoori platter that was better than any other place. It was served on a hot little smoking warmer. The owner Ramesh Rawat was very friendly and helpful. We tried a few roof top restaurants during our 3 days stay in Udaipur. This restaurant was our favorite.
The view is amazing from the restaurant in fact they have sitting upstairs as well but as we went there for lunch we sat at ground food.
Somehow we did not enjoy the food much, taste was okay or maybe we ordered chef special which was supposed to taste like this.

We came here by somebody's recommendation and this is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Udaipur. They serve unlimited thali as well as a-la-carte. We got lucky to try their well-known Jain/Rajasthani/Gujrati thali at Rs 250/- per person only. You'll get variety of Curries, Dal, Kadhi, Rice, Khichdi, Dal, Bati, Churma & what not. Every item in that Thali is delightful & you can not have better deal at this price for sure. This is a must-visit restaurant & kudos to the entire staff of Bawarchi for doing such an amazing job.

In frame Caesar Salad with Paneer Tikka, it was a random selection but I’ll be definitely coming back for this one @shamianaudaipur, the ambience & view was good but it was this dish that made a difference that evening.

Worst experience ever. They don't provide any facility and their charges are unnecessary high. They don't even provide dental kit and toiletry. Even if you ask them to provide something on addition of extra charges still they deny to provide any help.Washroom was broken and nothing was really working properly over their. It's a two-storey building in the corner of a busy market area of Bapu Bazar, but it's absolutely worth every single penny you spend (it's not expensive, BTW) and clearly, it's a must try restaurant in Udaipur.

At one end of the Bapu Bazaar street, it's at a walking distance if you are shopping in the vicinity. Rickshaws and cabs are easily available.

A mix of family crowd and friends. The restaurant is extremely popular for its thalis and its food, in general. So, don't be surprised to find queues on weekend evenings and during lunch hours. It's plainly designed and very spacious.

It's excellent!! There is literally no other word that can do justice to the food. Their gravies are flavorful, the quantity is fantastic, and it's the kind of food that will make you keep coming again and again.
Their ground level restaurant is for à-la-carte diners while the first floor is reserved for thali-eating diners.
For à-la-carte diners, feel free to order any gravy along with naans or parathas and you will not be disappointed. Do not forget to order their pineapple custard and gulab jamuns at the end.

A mix of family crowd and friends. The restaurant is extremely popular for its thalis and its food, in general. So, don't be surprised to find queues on weekend evenings and during lunch hours. It's plainly designed and very spacious.

It's excellent!! There is literally no other word that can do justice to the food. Their gravies are flavorful, the quantity is fantastic, and it's the kind of food that will make you keep coming again and again.
Their ground level restaurant is for à-la-carte diners while the first floor is reserved for thali-eating diners.
For à-la-carte diners, feel free to order any gravy along with naans or parathas and you will not be disappointed. Do not forget to order their pineapple custard and gulab jamuns at the end.

Navidya gets a 10/5 from me. It is located 10 mins' walk from Saheliyon ki Bari. The staff is extremely kind and courteous, and they explain each dish to you. They treat you like royalty. The Rajasthani platter, which was unlimited, is the tastiest that I have eaten so far. Each dish was yumm and had a unique flavor. I'm definitely coming back here again!
The best in the house, absolutely fantastic eatery place near jagdish temple, udaipur. Yummy delicious breakfast they serve in the form of kachori, samosa etc. We tried their kachori and samosa. Cost us 30/-. Must try place if your are visiting udaipur. Highly recommended.

The best moong dal ki Kachori in Udaipur. Paliwal ji ki Kachori is legendary. Located near Jagadish Temple in old Udaipur this small place is buzzing with locals from early morning. They serve only two items Samosa n Kachori, Kachori being the highest seller and they have tea and hot milk also. The Kachori is served piping hot with two kinds of chutney. The Kachori itself is so delicious and the addition of chutneys make it amazing. The crunchyness and flakiness of Kachori is perfect and it's deep fried to perfection by Paliwal ji. The owner is humble and very friendly. There's no place as such to sit so you enjoy eating it standing where they make fresh hot Kachoris.
Went there early morning around 7 directly from the railway and there were quite a few people already relishing the Kachori. Highly recommended to try it when in Udaipur. One of the best Kachori i ever had.

Amazing service of whole staff and Govindbhai treat very well particularly to my daughter and served all items on table. I love and enjoy the service and food 🍲 very much. Hospitality names proved by them and you can get all options in breakfast. If any item you found become cold they serve new one with hot item. We called it bahubali 🍳☕🍞 breakfast

Shamiana Restaurant is located in the heart of the old city and the panoramic view from here is spectacular. The place is pleasant and so is the aura considering its exceptional location. We ordered Penne Alfredo and Burnt Chilli Garlic Noodles and they were okay-ish. The taste and the quality of the food were average and it did not live up to the hype.
The staff was not at all accommodating and they got annoyed unnecessarily when we complained about their unsatisfactory services. It was an okay-ish experience overall and the beautiful scenery saved this restaurant from ultra-negative reviews.

Food is excellent, no compromise in quality also. I ate Thali and a lot of varieties there. Aam Panna is now my favourite & in the desert I also ate a Laddoo/Pinni which was very fine. The Thali price is 230/- (Worthy) and it is unlimited but you can't share it with anyone. Easy to find.. full marks👍👍

Beautiful restaurant to dine in, very delicious food. Both options of Thali and Ala carte available. I personally used rajasthani thali and found it very tasty. Roti they serve fresh and hot. The people serving food serves you with lot of love. However as the restaurant is in a busy area you may find it difficult to park your vehicles. However the hotel staff is always available to assist you with the parking.

Totally loved it! The view is astonishing. The satff was so polite and accommodating. Loved the food. Totally worth every penny. We tried red pasta and manchurian. Both of the dishes were upto the mark. Staff followed the instructions. There was a live music session going on which set the vibe crazy good. I'd definitely recommend this place. Just go there, you'd love it!

Best place for dining with your friend and family. There are many options for alcohol like beer and wine and whisky. You can enjoy Lake view and good food but service is not as much as good but if you request for discount they give on meals. You can plan your bday and match party 😉.
A soothing place to go and have some quality time with your company. Food is okay but the vibe and ambience makes it good enough for you to enjoy every bit of the moment. Though live music was a bit loud, making it difficult to converse with ease.

Our second visit recently we walked in without booking. When we reached they didn't tell us that the table was booked already. After a few pegs they asked to leave by 7.30 as the table was booked. They could have just told us that when we came in. We could have walked in to a different hotels.
