We took our Mum for a birthday 'High Tea' on Sunday 4th August.... Great atmosphere, great food and good service. Located within Early Settler furniture showroom, so you can check out furniture beforehand.

Great little spot, beautiful high tea set up with options for kids. So much food, well presented and good selection. Crowns and pink lemonade are a fun touch. We had a great time- thank you!
This was a gift for my birthday and our retirement. It was one of the loveliest gifts I have ever had. It was a fantastic experience. The food and drink were incredible. I want to thank Josephine the waitress for making the high tea experience so special. Cant wait to return.
This is a quality Italian restaurant with bar facilities too. The food was quality and we have the pizza which had a crispy base with excellent balance of toppings on the "The Lot" pizza minus the anchovies. The lemon tart for dessert was also a delight. It was a bit of a long wait to receive the pizza but was was worth it with the quality received.
Scaloppine al limone taste yuck. Bitter and sour . Poor service. We raise up hand for some tomatoe sauce. Nobody seen us.
Great high-quality food. There are a variety of options, and they help you customise the dishes and swap certain ingredients. Items generally lean on the more expensive side, but it can be worth it because of the overall good quality. The place is often quite busy, though there is plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting available.
I just popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake. It's nice and spacious with a good distance between the tables. It's a large room and not too noisy. It's in a nice location with plenty of glass that allows you to admire this lovely area of the city. It appears to be licensed I'm not sure what food is available I saw cake and everything else went blank. Coffee and cake was $12 certainly not unreasonable in the city centre. I liked it.

Absolutely beautiful high tea. Stunning, cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food.

Just gorgeous
Indulging in The Queen of Adelaide High Tea was an absolute delight - from the meticulously crafted sandwiches to the heavenly pastries, every bite was a taste of perfection. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavour was simply exquisite, making it a truly memorable experience that surpassed all expectations.
I took my two kids (4&5) to the Mother’s Day high tea on Saturday and it was amazing. The food was so yummy, the service lovely and the setup was just darling. The food serves were great and we got to take home the left overs. The kids loved it too! 10/10 would highly recommend!
Plus we got to look at furniture in early settler so was a fun afternoon out!
Sadly was not impressed with the flavour of my chicken ceaser salad. While it looked lovely the smellwas off-putting as was the taste and i have had this type of salad at so many places and its the first one i havent even been able to finish .

Great place for breakfast and coffee. Scrambled eggs and bacon came with generously buttered toast. One of the few places around here that has cold drip coffee.

The chicken baguette is the best. But you need to be early to get it! This is the bakery for the Dough stall in the central market, so their baked goods are just as excellent. The Bircher muesli and cooked breakfasts are also delicious - nothing fancy, but good quality ingredients cooked well.

I’m not being dramatic when I say my life changed today. Now anything else I eat will be disappointing. The food here blew our minds and gave us the endorphin rush of our lives. The first green flag was when the waitress reserved a table for us last minute even though they were super busy. We got the Turkish eggs and the French toast and it did not disappoint. 1000000/10 would recommend.
I really enjoyed my experience here - it’s definitely a meeting place . The atmosphere is quite lively , and it’s situated down a small laneway right near the Central Market .
There is indoor and outdoor seating , and they also sell some condiments and specialised food items , as well as a selection of cookbooks, and some hot chocolate powder from Morks, which is a specialised well known chocolate shop in Melbourne .
Market street cafe also have their own little bakery , which means fresh in house bread .
Their coffee of choice was D’Angelo , which is a local coffee roaster , with a deep chocolaty taste. I had an iced almond latte and enjoyed this brew .
Gluten free options are not particularly wide , but I did have a Reuben sandwich with a twist , ( with kimchi and gochujang mayo ) and was pleasantly surprised by the gluten free bread , which was thick and seeded - delicious.
Worth a visit, especially if you visit the Central Market.
Enjoyed a simple yet satisfying bacon and eggs breakfast with mushrooms and a side of three crispy hash browns. The eggs were fried to perfection with runny yolks and crispy edges, complementing the generous servings of bacon and mushrooms. Despite the bustling ambiance, the food arrived promptly, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
I recently visited Bocelli Caffe and tried their salt and pepper chicken with wedges. The dish was flavorful and satisfying. The coffee shake and coffee were delightful, offering a nice balance. I appreciated the unique concept of placing your order, take a menu on the entry, pick your table, and placing orders at the counter. It adds a casual and interactive element to the dining experience. Overall, a pleasant visit with tasty food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Good coffee (maybe a bit too milky on the flat white). And nice food. Buzzy ambience and nicely away from the traffic. I nearly knocked a star off as they forgot our food - which is a serious no no. When it was eventually sorted out they refunded the coffees. And they are friendly.

A gem of a place, bright and cheery. Accomodating staff, good coffee, prompt food that was big of flavours. The granola was wonderful!

We eat here almost weekly and absolutely love this place. The food, the vibes and the coffee!

Fantastic brekkie and lunch options, consistent quality food and excellent coffee.

Great quality GF bread... a must for brunch and this place has great bread. If you are an almond milk snob... be warned no almond milk on the menu but oat milk is just as good, if not better.

Lovely spot in the heart of Adelaide CBD. The coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and professional. The service was quick and efficient. Both breakfast choices were very tasty. The post egg was cooked to perfection, and the breaking burger was delicious and very balanced in terms of sweetness, richness and savoury. If you're looking after a decent breakfast or brunch, here is the place. Well done to the staff for the nice job.
Came back here for 2 days straight because the chicken pistachio sandwich is damn good! - @foodjournal_byjess

I chose to visit this coffee shop due to its reputation for outstanding local coffee.

The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness, the establishment maintained a commendable level of cleanliness, and the atmosphere of the cafe was pleasant.

I ordered takeaway for amond croissant, extra shots in a large cappuccino and also a regular long black, which presented a delightful balance of acidity and flavor.

However, the cappuccino experience took an unexpected turn the milk was too bubble, seemed to clash with the coffee, and the absence of chocolate powder left it reminiscent of a peculiar long macchiato.

Nevertheless, the overall ambiance and service added a positive touch to the overall experience.

We arrived mid morning for brunch. A good selection.
Settled on a Corn Fritter and a Smashed Avocado.
Both were very tasty and well presented.
Coffee could have been a tad hotter. But hey, that just a first world problem.

Great value for money café. Came here for a big fry up breakfast, and was not left disappointed. Ordered the Public Platter breakfast, and it was plenty of food for $35. Everything you could want in a brekky, all well-cooked. I'm a big eater but couldn't finish it today, there was that much food. Came in at 1030am and service was prompt, even asked if I wanted my coffee in a mug or a takeaway cup. Cafe did get about half full around 11am.

Beautiful morning atmosphere when the sun is shining, both inside and outside on the ‘on street’ dining area. In my opinion, amongst one of the best coffee spots in the CBD. Never falls short. Compared to other coffees, perhaps Market St Cafe is on the pricier side, but unlike some other overpriced coffee places, it’s actually good. One of my frequents, working towards having the staff call me by name.

Came here two days in a row as not many options around.

Great service + lovely outdoor and indoor sitting areas. Delicious coffee.

Wanted to eat something healthy but the menu doesn’t offer much choices with more greens.

The fritters during my second visits were very salty and doesn’t taste freshly made.

Finding great breakfast places with great coffee can be hard when you arrive in a city you’re not familiar with. Luckily I stumbled on this place. Service was amazing. My waitress was so helpful. Food also was great. Had poached eggs with greens and avocado. You can tell a lot about a place when you get their poached eggs, they were perfect 😍 Would recommend

Came back for a second visit and again was amazing.

One of my favorite breakfast spots while in Australia! The service was great and the food was amazing. I ordered the avocado on toast and had never had dukkha before but now, I'm obsessed. The flat white was also perfect and I loved the take away container that they packaged my food in. Would highly recommend!

I go into the city twice a week, and Luxxe is firmly the first place I go to when I get there.

I am greeted with a smile, people that memorized my name and great tasting coffee.

There's literally nothing more to be done. It really sets my day up for success. Thank you.

Traveller tip: they have a happy hour between 10-11am so if you want a more affordable coffee then that's a great time to go 😉

Delicious food. Staff is so friendly. They rushed on my order as I told them I was on my lunch break from work. Didn’t compromise on quality of food… it was great. This cafe has a very nice vibe to it. Perfect for work lunches if you want to mix elite and yummyness 👍
High tea place located inside Early Settler furniture store, with a very pretty and elegance ambiance. Plenty parking lots along Grote street and small street nearby.

The food was very delicious and fulfilling, especially knowing that they made all the foods in house. I love the scones most (it’s vegan but it was yummy even though I’m not vegan)

The service was amazing, they were looking after us and even gave us take away boxes to take the unfinished food home.

Very thoughtful staffs and I think it’s worth it for a $65 per head and I got 12 kind of foods + 2 pcs scones + a pot of tea + a mug of coffee + unlimited water and fizzy (pink lemonade).

I went there for mother’s day on weekends, then I came back for another lunch with my friends on weekday and they did the same quality of work! Will definitely come back for another events!

We had a wonderful early morning breakfast after seeing people off on the bus. We had a Big Breakfast which was generous serving and well cooked. The coffee was excellent and the lady was kind and friendly. It was lovely watching the city wake up.
We really enjoyed brunch here. Service was good.
Food quality was excellent.
A great place to stop.
We had a great brunch.

Seems like a horrible place to work for. They constantly have new staff who don't know what they are doing, and their long standing staff seem to leave after a certain amount of time. Have seem the owners verbally abuse staff before in the middle of the cafe. They also like to sit back and watch while the baristas run around trying to all the jobs. Have had the male owner make my coffee before and it always taste either burnt or extremely hot. They all seem miserable and over tired. 0/10.

Great little coffee/ breakfast shop right next to the Hilton Adelaide. Also, they open very early, so perfect spot for travelers that may be waking up early due to the time change! Prices are great, food and coffee is even better. I had a ham, egg, and cheese roll they even added a fried egg upon my request. Nice hefty breakfast for a long day of sight seeing. They also have smaller portions and pastries as well! Cappuccino was also delicious and the staff were warm and friendly. I'll probably eat here for breakfast every single day during my trip!

I've been here a few times in the new year and its a cute little cafe with good coffee and food. However everytime I sit in the dining room the music being played is too loud and is always some type of edm or club music. It puts a weird atmosphere in the air and I wish something more calming can be played so I can unwind while drinking my coffee 😐

Great coffee. Plenty of seating indoors and some outside. Also has a nice fresh selection of pastries too which is great. Located just a few steps off Gouger Street, it’s a great spot to stop by if you’re looking for a coffee.

Was stuck overnight in Adelaide with flight delays and on the hunt for a good cuppa.

The reviews and early open drove me here and it did not disappoint!

Lovely people, lovely coffee.
Located in the Early Settler furniture store, how fitting. Such a decadent set up and lovely atmosphere, the attention to detail, exquisite serving ware and finishing touches makes all the difference to the High Tea experience! The menu offers several high tea options that include a glass of sparkling upon arrival then free flow pink lemonade, tea and coffee. Dietary requirements are considered also if required. Offers an option of cocktails with the high tea menu too. There’s also a high tea option for the 4 legged friends which I believe is a first for SA. High Tea sessions are generally 1 & half hour seating and requires payment in full at time of booking. It also offers quick coffee and cake for the time conscious furniture shoppers.
Experiencing the grand opening on a long weekend had some teething errors however Carolyn and Kim’s hospitality definitely made up for the mishaps. Very attentive and personable service and great to see the younger generation staff are being trained well in the industry.
Definitely a new favorite High Tea spot of mine, our party was well looked after even with the whole team serenading Happy Birthday for our birthday girl was such special treatment!
Location is great and offers ample street parking.

I love this place, great location, the staff are always really friendly and professional. Coffee is great and there's a good range of desserts and lunch/breakfast options.

Only downside is sometimes they play very loudly the most grating club music remixes! Rick Astley's "never gonna give you up" is not a song that should ever be remixed into some sort of electronic club version... Ever. Please rethink the music... I love this place but I just can't handle it anymore😂

Excellent coffee. Food is tasty and not overpowering. We came back on consecutive days just cos we wanted to try other items on the menu and we were not disappointed. I will have this any day.
