Top Airports in Budapest, Hungary

This airport is very spacious, clean, well organized, with a lot of stores, cafes, free strollers for small kids. It has a very good and fast connection to the city with bus line 100E. You can pay directly on the bus with your card. The bus needs about 30 min to get to the city center and has no in between stops. Within the city it has three stops with last one directly in the city center.

The timetable didn´t match with our flicht. Tried to cancel, but they didn´t accept that. Don´t ever book there!!!

Worst company with really bad quality of service !!!! The person at the desk is so horrible in Budapest ! I paid priority, extra bagages and the girl was showing to double check everything size of bagages for me and my husband ! I use to travel with them in différents part of Europe ‘ for sure I will choose Vueling or any other companies

Clean spacious airport. We spent whole day here because we missed our flight. So we walked about alot. There is usb charging ports nearly everywhere lots of bathrooms and changing areas for babies. Wheelchair accessible also. The airport can get very busy so it felt really stuffy. As we couldn't check in til 7pm we tried the cafe downstairs they had a good selection friendly staff..It took about 30 /40 mins to get checked in we were very tired at this stage so it seemed longer and the queue behind us still had to check in. Security was slightly better. The female staff seemed very abrupt when I had to get frisked and a few other woman too. I know it's there job but it makes you feel uncomfortable and probably the language barrier. Past security there's lots of shops and food outlets and kids play area and buggies for tired toddlers. Look about to see what you like its expensive prices vary . Buy the water in the vending machine it's cheaper it's near the lounge area. There was lots of seats here also which was great.

4) there are many good shops including frei coffee, they had an excellent choice of coffee to the point you feel you want to try all of them !

I would say 1h could be enough, not like huge airports where you need 2h30 or 3h to get yourself ready to the flight !!✈️

Probably the best airport I have flown from in recent years. I love this airport because it’s clean, high tech, easy to navigate and has some great facilities. Getting to and out of the airport is very easy and is always smooth. The staff here are very friendly and make it very easy to drop off your bag, check in and get through security fast and efficiently. The best part about this airport is the giant foot court at the top making it look like a shopping mall. There is so many food and drink options to choose from such as a Burger King, KFC, a sports bar, cafes, airport lounges, Asian food and more. The duty free has some good products available, and water here is of a reasonable price. The toilets are clean and there is charging points and USB ports all over this airport which is great. Love the other facilities as well such as the small meeting room pods that are scattered around the airport. Highly recommend flying from here !

Such a modern and clean airport! This one is my favorite one after traveling in 21 countries.

It is also very spacious and offers plenty of spaces for the passengers to relax and to shop.

I always talk about it as a great example of airport experience. Keep up the great work!

Arriving at Budapest International Airport at 1:30 am was an interesting experience. After a swift baggage claim, we found ourselves waiting outside for our taxi. What struck me most was how they shuttle you to the entrance on a bus right from the tarmac. It gave a unique, close-up view of the airport.

Despite the late hour, the process was surprisingly efficient, and the airport staff made sure everything went smoothly. It was a convenient and hassle-free start to our journey in Budapest.

At Terminal 2b, compact and easy to use. Signs in English and bags came off quickly. Arrival area crowded but organized.

Love this Airport. Clean, modern and large. When we flew in we were channelled into a separate passport control queue. When flying out we were able to check in early and the security checks were so easy not to mention quiet.

Leave enough time for passport control.

Our flight delayed 35 min. So we’ve a small break at one of the bistro at the food court - forgetting that we have not cleared the passport control.

At control, the officer took a long long time to stamp my passport … don’t know why. Maybe due to my birth place being China?

After the passport control, there is a custom officer checking, if we’ve any money.

“What kind of money?” Hungarian? Euro? Dollar? He didn’t say, but waved us over.

Chinese ads and signs are everywhere.

Would NOT recommend this at all. They would let you book a transport that is outside of their service to let you think that they operate there. And will only tell you after you have paid that they won’t refund you and will only give you credits -.- not clear about any processes at all

Scammers. Avoid at any cost. They offer services they later say they do not provide and ask you for additional info until you give up. Will see if they refund my money. Because of them I will avoid RyanAir also with whom they cooperate to steal customers money

This airport is very modern and great for passengers. Lots of food choices and the security was fast. Best section of the airport was the waiting area with really comfortable seats.

This is one of the best airports in Europe with easy access to public transport. Check-in counters and Security is clear signed and easy to get through... plenty of shopping in duty free..there are many cafe, restaurants and shops to explore while waiting. Charging points are plenty around the waiting area. There's gates A & B sections for departure. The design is modern, clean, bright, and welcoming! Very impressed and pleased

Booked the service 3 months before our flight, the day before they send me an email saying they cannot make the transfer and therefore canceling the trip. Contacted ryanair but they couldn't care less about the service they provide, you call the official line and it redirects you to a hungary line which is either occupied or starts talking in hungarian.

Cancelled my transfer 12 days before going, when I booked this 10 months prior. Ryanair no better as they just palm you off with “contact them directly”. Joke of a company. DO NOT USE.

Booked Plus airport line through Ryanair and they took the payment and then decided to email to say that they couldn’t actually fulfil the required booking and cancelled it. They then asked for bank details to refund and I am still waiting for my refund over a month later. I have tried various forms of contact to ask when i will be receiving the refund and keep getting no clear response from them. I have been promised phone calls back and still haven’t received these either. Don’t even bother booking through them, they’re nothing but hassle.

If I could give no stars I would. I booked a return transfer through Ryanair. I received my e ticket with no pick up and departure times.

I have emailed several times to request this. On my pick up ticket it said 60 minutes after arrival for pick up. I have to call some number the day before to arrange my departure time.

Never experienced this before. I cancelled but they gave me a credit note. Something I am disputing at the moment. Avoid this company
