Great location! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The location was closed to the train station.
The deducted 100£ from my account citing causing fee or something.

They said it’d refunded back to my account in 5-14days, it has not been refunded yet.

I have decided to take up the case
Disgusting to dirty room small it’s not worth it to stay there. that is better to sleep in street more better than this place
. wasting money wasting time. You’re not going enjoy from your sleep there is no coffee there is no tea there is no stuff for the washroom even make one tea for yourself. Nothing just one bed that’s it and dirty old.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can’t say enough about how fantastic the experience was. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
We booked a room here and was asked to leave my physical card? Never heard of this policy and it is extremely unsafe. Hotel was dirty and very odd personalities here, not a safe hotel to stay at.
I have stayed here with my husband many time... but this time it was horrible. One of the staff voilated our privacy by opening out door with a keys with knocking or letting us know we booked for 3 nights and noone should be opening our door at all we didnot ask for service to clean but they allowed themselves to clean out room unacceptable when we reached out to the reception all they could say is sorry absolutely disgusting this made myself and my husband scared to the point we checked out early this is really unacceptable and voilted all there standards and no compassion or compensation were given. We have stayed in many hotel and this is the worest I have stayed in. How dare they do something like this without thinking about the privacy of there paying customers.

Lovely hotel close to ilford station. Very clean rooms great shower & polite staff. Breakfast was nice. Was a surprise more than 3 star. A gem in the centre of Ilford. Also surrounded by many cafes.
“I highly recommend this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The service is outstanding—the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the rooms smell fresh and inviting.

The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet, allowing for a restful stay, and the views from the windows are breathtaking. It truly feels like a five-star experience in every detail, from the high-quality furnishings to the beautiful room design. The team here is friendly, professional, and genuinely dedicated to guest satisfaction. I can confidently say this hotel deserves every one of its five stars!”
Absolutely amazing, I have never experienced a hotel like this. First off, the rooms are VERY clean, it's visible that they get deep cleaned daily. We booked in room 206 and 207, there was a working big TV in every room and the hotel is located next to a church and school. The walls are thick, making it soundproof. It was nice and quiet. We got amazing service, the guy at the front desk was very interactive and nice. The breakfast was phenomenal and the lady working there was nice. I 100% recommend this hotel!
I’ve never had to write a horrible review, until today. Horrible rooms and no hygiene whatsoever. Bedbugs , we were itchy all night , and on top of that there were mice under our beds!! Beds were dirty and not comfortable at all, and partially broken didn’t feel safe to stay there . WOULDN’T NOT RECOMMEND !

Unfortunatly this is a very poor hotel, some of the staff here are good, however the main boss is rude and disrespectful. The cleaning situation is diabolical, say they will change your sheets, just give your sheets to the room next door. The dining area is where visitors are allowed to come, however it is always dirty and not good for getting school work done. How can this be the standard, I know they dont care because they are getting paied by the counsil. Should be investigated.
Friendly staff, room is clean and with a good shower. Ilford isn't a great location however the hotel is very close to the Elizabeth line and for working and traveling the hotel is very ideal and I would recommend it if you want to stay outside of central London.
The hotel is amazing for the price. Short walk to Ilford Elizabeth line, I went to work in liverpool street in about 20 minutes. The area has loads of nice kebab places. It's unbeatable value.

I didn't think much from the service on the front desk. Rooms are ok for the money, but client service should be good regardless of the cost. It only takes kind and polite words.

I had a very disappointing experience at this 2-star hotel. The entire place was dirty and poorly maintained. The rooms were not clean, with dust and grime everywhere. The bathroom was particularly unhygienic and disgusting. The floor had brown stains, and everything was extremely filthy. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. It was a truly unpleasant stay.

Very terrible food at the time when I was a child coming here I ate lots of breakfast and lunch but we kept moving hotels due to money issues but the hotel staff weren't really nice and I ended up at another hotel vomiting it all out very severely out my nose about 2 gallons of vomit and on my bed sheets, which I couldn't breathe and almost died I'm never going here but I will report this to health and hygiene centre

Hi everyone me and my family we had bad holiday on this Hotel at the time of booking we were told it was a 4 star hotel but actually it is totally misleading and we will not call it even 1 star hotel, smell of cigarettes in the rooms, smell of damp and broken mattresses on every single bed. We were not expecting this kind of standard from such a big hospitality group, not happy at all.

I strongly recommend that this hotel should be avoided. As soon as you walk along the corridor a disgusting damp like and musty smell hits you. The room was also smelly, had a broken bathroom lock, knobs broken from the furniture. For breakfast instead of fresh tomatoes they served tinned tomatoes which are used as a cooking condiment. There is no socket near the bed!!!!!!!!! Seems the bathroom has not been renovated since being built. I know it's a two star hotel but basic hygiene was expected. Pillows were as if they came from an Army barracks, stiff, small and uncomfortable.

The price in the room appears to reflect how basic the owners of this business feel that it is, with no soap to wash your hands in their dirty bathroom, no toilet paper either.
Walking through the corridors of the hotel, we were hit by the strong smell of drugs. I thought that was illegal, but there you go.
Abrupt reception staff (Gill) who can not answer the most basic question about the hotel but repeated what he thought the answer should be.
The 2 star award goes to the lady in the breakfast area. She was lovely and happy to help if needed.
The location itself was picturesque looking at a local large park.

Large hotel with comfortable and reasonably priced rooms including breakfast
Check in and out was straight forward
24hr reception
Ample free car parking.
The staff were friendly and welcoming
The room was clean and comfortable with two single beds
Furniture was a little outdated and worn out but still functional and adequate for use
Tea and coffee making facilities were also available in the room
The bathroom was quite large with a sink
Shower and toilet
Unfortunately the soap dispenser was empty but like most I carry my own toiletries so not a problem
Breakfast was included and is a hot buffet style offering along with additional cereals and juices
Toast is offered with breakfast and cooked by the kitchen staff and brought to the table
Had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would gladly return

It's a two star hotel, just good for night sleep. It's clean and tidy. One has choice of single, double and twin bed rooms. Single rooms are usually with shared bathroom, whereas double bedroom are with showers. However, there is wash basin in every room. Rooms are small. Facility is basic. I didn't find any chair in the room in which I stayed. Thankfully there is electric kettle provided with tea and coffee options. Breakfast is free with 5-6 variety of foods such a toast, butter, jam, egg, beans, mushroom, sausage etc. But almost same menu is served everyday. So, if one is staying for longer period, it's bit boring. Terrif varies from day to day. Staff is courteous.

We had a really bad experience here. We checked in staff were nice and room was ok.. the bedding was clean but bathroom was old and grubby as was pretty much everything else in the room.. but it was cheap and a place to rest.. which is what we wanted. We noticed that evening the window wouldn't close and we were on the ground floor so we're not feeling safe the staff were unable to change to the room and maintenance refused to come out for such a small issue... Within a few minutes we noticed ants were all over the dresser side table so we went back to reception where the miraculously had found another room.. the second time was far better than out first room but If planning on staying here lower your expectations.. this is beyond basic and in need of an update.. We would not return. The most disappointing thing is the way in which our complaint was handled.. no sign of a manager. And staff had zero answer unless you really put pressure on.
As for the location it's brilliant for access to London... 20mins using the Elisabeth line.. by all means stay in Ilford but maybe best to avoid this chain of hotels.. next time we are going to try the park hotel..

I had spent 5 nights but our room was changed each night and the rate was different almost every day.
Most of the staff is good but there was a girl Alina who was not polite at all and she didn't help to solve any issue for the room.
The place had free breakfast and free parking, that was amazing.

Me and my partner have recently stayed at this hotel for nearly over a month. There were many problems that we had in our room and staff refused to help us or fix the problems. As you enter, the hotel itself had a strong smell of curry & sweat which was unpleasant. The room that we were staying in was deceiving. When we entered it was boiling hot in our room and we weren’t able to turn it off due to the heater being broken. There was dried gum and stains on the wall as well as the floors being dirty and filthy.

The light bulbs were always flickering and they didn’t get maintenance to fix it either. The lock on the bathroom door was also broken on our arrival & our shower was leaking from the bottom, therefore we had to always place a towel down from stopping it from leaking. The shower head pressure was very slow and clogged. No matter how you manage your water temperature, one minute it’ll be boiling, the next is freezing cold. We have reported these problems to staff in reception but still very unhelpful.

There was a rat always running around on the floor boards of our room at night till early morning, when we told staff they denied that it was a rat & stated that the hotel is clean. They would also change our duvet and apparently give us clean towels when they were stained, we bought our own towels to be on the safer side. The bed we were staying on was flimsy and very uncomfortable to sleep on that my partner got cramps all over his body and we both struggled to sleep in that time period.

They had a lamp, hair dryer, kettle etc all for us customers to use, but it was for decoration as nothing was working & I wasn’t surprised. Problems just kept building up. The staff were rude and didn’t care about customer service as well as the management team. They put their staff before customers and it definitely shows. There was a rude Indian lady named Priyanka in reception who lies, has a lot of attitude and claims that she is always right and wouldn’t consider your problems.

I could go on & on as the problems don’t stop but all I can say is I highly do not recommend this hotel. Avoid at all costs.
We got placed here as the hotel we had booked had no spaces so they transferred us here... It was quite unhygienic (the stairs looked like they'd not seen a hoover in months) and dated. We awoke to a horrible strong fried smell which lasted hours from about 6am till about 8.30am. we actually left the hotel early by one night as we could not stand the idea of smelling this monstrous smell for a second morning. It wouldn't have been a choice to book this place.

Very poor communication & customer service with reception staff.

Free parking was great. However, room was not thoroughly cleaned (dead bugs on window sill), shower drain was blocked causing it to overflow the cubicle and after attempts to contact staff to get fixed, staff provided no solution.

Mattress was quite hard to sleep on.

No iron in room

Overall, a substandard stay; would only be useful for a quick one-night emergency stay

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My mother was unwell and had to spend a lot of time indoors during our stay. The staff made sure she was comfortable and catered to all our special requests. A special Thank you to Maria at reception. She is lovely, helpful and always smiling.

Not very guest friendly.

Good:
- Amenities such as fridge, microwave, kettle, teas and coffees, TV
- Inside of fridge clean
- Inexpensive compared to average London rates
- Free breakfast of good quality 👍

Bad:
- Shower runs cold and is broken
- Inside of microwave very tatty
- Inconsistent cleaning job
- Wi-fi does not work at all and 4G connection extremely bad
- Negative experience with the receptionist staff upon arrival

Ugly:
- Room in a terrible state. Food(?) stains on ceilings, walls, light switch!!!
- Dirty handles
- Thick build-up of black mould around rim of shower from inconsistent cleansing
- Cobwebs!!
- Duvets and mattresses need to be replaced or better hidden

I was prepared for wear and tear, but still expected a clean room and functioning shower! But I did not manage to get a single shower during my time spent here, and was very unsettled and underwhelmed.

The thought of touching handles or opening the fridge/microwave door or turning the light switch on with my bare hands made me feel uncomfortable, because I didn't know what they had cleaned and what they had not.

I would have preffered a clean and functional en-suite room with no amenities to what I was provided with. The least a hotel should be doing is cleaning room surfaces down thoroughly after each use!

If the hotel staff kept room maintenance to half the standard the kitchen staff kept breakfast service, this would definitely be at least a "3 star hotel". But the receptionists, cleaners and managers are definitely letting their kitchen staff down, as the state of the rooms makes you sceptical about the quality of the breakfast.

What I was expecting:
Clean, guest friendly double room with ~functional shower and wifi~

What I got:
Slapdash cleaning job, double bed in a single room and NO Internet connection 👎

Location has excellent transport connectivity, the housekeeping staffs are fantastic, they show up.. they clean the rooms everyday, but not thorough, the reception staff are fantastic my flight was delayed for over 5hrs communicated with them no hassle at all.
The room I stayed(RM 26) is not the best not sure if other rooms are like that though...stains on the walls, cobwebs hanging down the roof, shower pressure very bad...take longer to get a quick shower...needs to be updated, repainted. Breakfast is nice(scrambled eggs, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, rashers, sausages, toast, juice..and cereals...same everyday 😏 more varieties will be good

The worst place we have ever stayed at. We were booked in for two nights paying an extra fee for full English breakfast.
At check in they take £50 as a deposit (despite full payment made online)
Once all that is done they inform we are to be placed at a sister hotel which they state has free parking, which is in a busier part of town. We come to this hotel and there is no parking at all and we have an offer for a sandwich for breakfast when money was taken for a full English and parking ??
They refuse to refund our money despite us having to pay money , faced with the most unfriendly staff that is not willing to help customers.
Never would recommend.
Very unprofessional staff !

The location was great. Walking distance to the train station, shops and local park.

The staff weren't friendly but weren't rude either. I understand why though. There are alot of very weird people staying at this hotel. I probably wouldn't want to communicate with them either.

The room was not good enough.
Biggest problem being the black mold covering the bathroom. The window in the bathroom didn't close. The internet was a huge issue. It was slow and had terrible reception. Inside the room my phone had terrible reception aswell.
There was alot of noise coming from above us during the night. As if someone was walking around unable to sleep. This was very annoying for my wife who struggled to sleep because of it.
No coat hangers in the wardrobe, no clue why.

Positively, the room had a kettle and a microwave with a few coffees and teas provided. We had clean towels everyday. The heater was brilliant and worked effectively. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful when we requested a second duvet.

The breakfast situation was okay. The dining room was cramped but we had seating every morning. There was a nice variety of English style breakfast, hot tea and coffee, cereals, bread, toast, jams, milk and orange/apple juice. Nothing was of a high standard. But it was better food than we expected.

I wouldn't stay there again. But it is worth the money.

Excellent hotel. You don’t really need much. Good price and free English buffet breakfast. What more could you ask for. I saw the reviews but I wanted to see it for myself and honestly it was fine. It’s a little out dated but it’s reasonable for the price staff are always helpful and available as I had some issues with my room key. Overall definitely will be back.

The hotel was not at all what I was expecting. The front door of the building I was staying in didn't close properly or lock, the electronic on my room didn't work as expected and because the fire alarms in the building hadn't had their batteries changed, they beeped all through the night. In addition, the walls are paper thin and I was woken up in the night by someone in a room above me waking up in the early hours and using their bathroom.

To add to this, the room booking I had was 'bed and breakfast', except the 'continental breakfast' that was advertised was nothing more than a small selection of cereals and a loaf of bread served in a laundry room just outside of the main office of the hotel. I cannot recommend this place at all.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room and the neighborhood was nice and clean, the breakfast was tasty and abundant. The only downside which could have occurred was that the sound-proofing of rooms from each other is a bit lacking but we had silent neighbours so it wasn't a problem.

To all the fastidious complainers: if you want luxury, why don't you reach deeper into your pockets and book a 4-5 star hotel deeper in the city? Smh.
