I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and room service did not enter my room once to clean, straighten, or replace my bed sheets. I had 10 wet/dirty towels on the floor waiting for them to come change my sheets and give me fresh towels. Our room key malfunctioned every time we left our room so we had to run back downstairs to have them re-program the key 80% of our stay. There is only 1 washer/dryer in the hotel and the dryer was broken the entire time i was there. No one knew when/if it would ever be fixed. The elevator broke the last 2 days we were there meaning me and my 3 young kids had to walk down 3 flights of stairs with all our luggage and snowboard/gear. I was very disappointed with everything in that hotel and will never return!!!!!
We came from Denver for a last minute weekend getaway and had an awesome time here. The Jacuzzi suite is definitely worth it.. package with hot springs passes was even better. Rosa was a helpful, courteous and kind host at the front desk, it made the experience. We definitely will be coming back with our kids in the summer.
Don't stay in this hotel. Very dirty. After delayed check-in, my kid and pet found "amazing gifts" from previous guests like old pacifier, nails, dog's food leftovers. Looks like room was not cleaned for weeks. Reported this to staff on duty, and person on reception provided another room but still with sticky, dirty floor and told me that hotel will provide full refund on my booking. I never got refund. Tried to contact hotel manager Mia but she never replied on my emails or return a call.
The exterior of the building makes it seem like a high end facility, but the actual halls and rooms are so old. Old carpet, old doors, old tile. The pillows are basically sacks of cotton balls and some of the towels were literally tattered. It seemed clean and safe but it is not somewhere I would stay again if there are other affordable options. Also not somewhere to stay if you like hanging out in the rooms during the day—just a sleep and go vibe. It’s next to the gondola if people are into that.
This is a bad hotel. It is worn, in bad need of a total renovation. In our room, the fridge was extremely loud, and so was the heater. The temperature reading on the heater unit was about 10 degrees off. The bedding is straight out of the 80s with a thin blanket and even thinner spread. The breakfast is sparse. Bread, only bagels, only cream cheese no jelly or spread. Vending machine on the floor was out of order. There used to be a cafeteria in the lobby area but it is permanently closed which does nothing to improve the look of the hotel. The staff is clueless and not up to the task. Stay someplace else.
Do not waste your money! This is usually my go to and I will bot stay here again. Mommy daughter weekend and it was horrible. The staff is all young and spend the entire shift on their cell phones. The cleaning crew didn't sweep or mop out for for any of the 4 days we were there and It was dirty. I swept on myself on day 3. They didn't change our sheets at all and the ones we did have made my daughter and I both itchy. They didn't clean the tub before we got there because there was bathtub scum from the previous guest. Their is not a single professional person in this place and it's very sad I won't be able to come back. So disappointing after so many previous good experiences!

The hanging lake inn was a superb experience during our stay at Glenwood Springs. Located just a mile east of the hot springs, amusement park, and shopping district. The rooms were impeccably clean while the outside of the rooms were immaculately kept with gorgeous grass, bushes to block lights from passing/parking car, and a beautiful aesthetic. Those working the front office were attentive and extremely helpful when it came to requiring new/extra items.

On top of all this, the price compared to other hotels in the area is unbeatable. Will definitely utilize the hanging lake inn in the future!
Service is very good and rooms are very clean. Bedding smells Clean and fresh.
Parking is very convenient
Pillows are small
Which is unusual
Furniture is very sparse and cheap
And no pictures on the walls
So it feels a little like a hospital.

If you request an get an extra pillow
The nice lady behind the counter will run to get you one and since she's in her 60s - its quite a sight. She's very special and the hotel could be as well with a few more amenities and some better furniture.

That's my honest opinion.!

Myself and three others stayed over the weekend - we were in town for a wedding at the time. Let me start off by saying that you can’t do much better on a budget - the service was excellent and the room was immaculate. Mike, the concierge, was especially kind. We were planning on getting dinner in town, but ended up being pretty exhausted by the end of the day so we elected to do some delivery. Unfortunately, the place we ordered from didn’t provide utensils and we hadn’t thought to bring our own. I took a chance and asked him at the front desk if he could oblige - he not only provided utensils, but plates as well! It’s little things like that which really mark an experience, and I will say without hesitation that I will be staying again when I’m out in the Glenwood area.

Also, the beds were super comfy, we had ample towels for our bathroom which was also immaculately kept, the little kitchen nook was a lovely addition, and it’s always a plus when you can watch some HBO on the tube.

I can’t say enough good things, but I’ll end it here. Take my word for it and go stay here!

One of those places you wish was on every stop of your trip! We needed a place to sleep, get some work done on a laptop and microwave some food from our cooler. This met all our needs at a great price. There’s no pool, spa treatments, shoe shine kits or any silly extras. A clean, quiet room. I discovered this hotel on google maps and were lucky to book on our arrival.

Thank you for the warm welcome and intel, Mike. You’re now an official part of our fabulous journey!

This quaint Inn was perfect for our anniversary trip! The management is incredibly kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. Sitting on the front porch looking out over the mountains was magical. Great location. We could go on!

We only spent the tail end of our vacation in Glenwood Springs, so our stay was just one night. I can tell that the owners are working hard to make this little roadside inn a really nice place to stay. The bed and bedding was comfortable and the shutters make the place look impressive from the inside and outside. It was a relatively clean but sparse room. Freshly painted and with new flooring, but clearly in need of more furniture to fill the space, like maybe a table and a couple of chairs? Everything was mostly clean, but for some little specks of what I do not care to mention on the wall beside the toilet. To be fair, the poor maid was working as fast as she could to get the rooms ready. I'm thinking that one of the staff must have failed to show up the day we checked in. They could not check us in on time and no allowance was made for that. I felt that they could have at least given us a small discount, since our check-in was more than a half hour later than promised and I had reserved the room at least a week ahead. Other reviewers have complained about the noise from I-70, but we thought our room was quiet enough. Would we stay again? I don't know. We'll probably Airbnb it next time. But I DO know we would like to go back to Glenwood Springs and spend more time one of these days. It's a great little town that will be our first choice next time.
