Reviews

Everything was fine is outdated an the 5th floor smell was horrible but when you got into the room it wasn't bad at all. The laundry room was locked ab didn't own with door key. There things close by for shopping dining an the t as well.
Stayed get due to surgery at mass General want bad.
Front desk staff were very friendly an helpful.
No stars for this hotel!!!!!!!! Although they say it is non smoking, it’s obvious that people smoke inside the hotel too as there was a smell from cigarette smoke throughout. The room we were originally assigned had stains on the carpet, a damaged wall, and the drawers in the dresser were hanging out of the furniture. I don’t even know how they could assign anyone a room that looked like the one we had. They reassigned us another room but the smell of smoke was affecting my health even after only being in the room for not even an hour. We had to check out after only being in this hotel for maybe 1.5 hrs if that. Absolutely disgusting! Looks like they have people living in this hotel long term. I did not feel safe here! DO NOT stay at this hotel. You will NOT enjoy your stay!!!!!!!
Clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Plus free hot continental breakfast. However, the coffee provided could take some improvement. The sound proof of the windows was very good. I heard almost nothing even the hotel is located nearby a corner of two major roads.
Cannot beat the price for the location. It’s within a 10 minute walk from the orange line and access to downtown. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, in a safe area, and quiet. Would not even look for another place to stay if we came back, would stay here without a doubt.
Just checked in to Holiday inn Bunker hill. I am currently a platinum member and have stayed more then multiple times at multiple holiday inn locations. I have never received customer service as amazing as I have from both Gina and Mona like I did today. They both more then went out of their way to provide exceptional customer service. This is my 3rd time at this hotel and it is service like this that will bring me back!!
Overall awful place to stay. Upon check-in, we were put into a room with a double bed. We called the front desk and they did end up putting us in a correct room. When we checked in and gave our bank card for the $50/night incidentals, we were told it would be refunded after checkout. It was never refunded. After several calls to the hotel, we are now a month out from our stay and they have only returned the funds for a nights worth of parking ($20). We have called and asked to speak with the manager, Omar several times and have gotten no call back, after being told he was in a meeting. Until my husband called the last time and was told that he would be getting the refund ASAP, which is when all that was returned was $20. We stayed for 3 nights. Awful customer service after the stay is complete. Would not recommend and will not be returning.
Stayed here for my visit to Boston while my sister went to a conference. I’d say for our stay, distance to downtown and feasibility to access of public transportation are their strengths. The location is a quick walk to both the green and orange lines. Lyfts in 11/2023 ran as cheap as $12.00 and as much as $33.00 from the airport to the hotel. You could even walk to some of the nearby locations like Bunker Hill, although it would be quite a walk.

Hotel didn’t include free breakfast like most holiday inns include, but did have pool, gym which I used one night, and a decent selection of places to eat in the nearby area.

Room was modest and clean for the most part. If you’re someone who just needs a place to sleep and will explore the city/relative area for the entire day, this will be a good option. If you have a more flexible budget, however, something in the general downtown area of Boston will be more convenient since the city is very walkable and it’s only a matter of getting out and moving around.
We had a great time on our stay to Boston. Hotel location is close to two T stops which was very convenient! We were able to check in early and drop off our luggage before heading out to explore. The rooms are a little outdated, but clean. You can tell they’re slowly starting to update the hotel as the lobby looks brand new! We would stay here again.
I stood here on a week long business trip, the room had a horrible smell, no refrigerator or microwave, the door didn't have an additional lock and there was a gap at the bottom portion of the door. The carpet in the hallways is filthy, they do not clean your room unless you ask them and you have to notify them 24 hrs in advance. So don't ask them Monday morning to clean your room while you're out. They will tell you that the maintenance schedule is full. The TV service is horrible, my stay was from Sunday - Saturday. I had tv service for 2 days only! The phones do not work to call the front desk, so you have to call the hotel and then select the proper option to get the front desk. If you have medication that requires refrigeration, they will ask you to leave it at the front desk for them to hold it. They have a "community" microwave in the lobby if you want to heat anything up. Needless to say, this wasn't a pleasant stay. I left Friday after work, and didn't bother to stay until Saturday morning. The staff however, are friendly and tried to be accommodating.
Almost canceled after reading reviews about the rooms being dirty. We were very pleased with the staff and our room. Airport shuttle, great front desk service, baggage hold, room was very clean and comfortable. Good location. We had decided we would stay here again if we're ever in Boston.
We stayed for 6 nights over 9 days. We arrived at Logan at 1230a. Called the hotel. 30 minutes later, I called again,a s the shuttle had not arrived. Person on the phone assured us that we had not been forgotten and that, perhaps, the driver had experienced traffic issues (at 1am?). When the shuttle arrived, the driver never spoke and never offered assistance. On the way to the hotel, another passenger's bag rolled into the stairwell, blocking out exit. On arrival at the hotel, the driver made no attempt to get out and moved the bag. I moved the bag out of the shuttle so we could exit. Check-in was smooth. For our first visit, we stayed in room 328. Spacious, Great beds, Quiet. Deadbolt did not line up with the door jamb, making the lock useless. Shower plus that redirects water from the tub to the shower was faulty. B the end of our shower, we were standing in 3-4 inches of water. Also, a "bath-fitter" tub had been installed over the original tub, making the step from the tub to the floor extra long and awkward. No railing to hold onto. On our second visit, we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor. The key would not open the door. The front-desk clerk came up and also was unable to open the door, commenting that the battery in the door lock must be dead. She told us we cold take the room and wait for the maintenance person to fix it, but he was off-premises and his return time was unknown. We declined the room and were assigned to room 324. Not as big as 328, but still quiet and with good beds. No microwave and the frig was a college-dorm style that sat under the sink adjacent to the bathroom. Third floor ice maker never worked during either visit. Breakfast was so-so and the breakfast room was too small. Guests poured into the lobby to find places to eat. Overall, the shuttle incident tainted our impressions of the hotel. While it is certainly adequate, I wold look for another place to stay next time.
Enjoyed the hotel. Breakfast was good, but cost a little extra. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the historic downtown area and pick-up service, which saved money for an Uber. Our room was nothing fancy, but was clean and comfortable. I only gave the room 4 stars because the wall thermostat didn't work and, instead, had a wall unit below the window. The problem is that no matter what setting you used for the A/C, it was either freezing cold while running, or the room got too warm when it wasn't. While talking to another guest at breakfast, they reported the same issue.
Pros: - great location - only a couple subway stops to downtown, and surrounded by plenty of shopping and restaurants
- easy check-in and check-out

Cons: - lots of construction in the area, so the road itself was hard to navigate.
- carpet was fairly stained
- no water in the vending machines, and the ice machine was broken on our floor (water jug available in lobby)

Overall, fairly clean hotel. It's quite dated, which makes it look a bit rundown. But the bed was comfortable, the room was a good size, and there were plenty of towels in the room.
Great location, surrounded by all kind of shops and restaurants and is 10 mins away from downtown Boston. Very elegant interior design and accommodating personnel. The only complaint is the dust sitting on some of the furniture in a room. Otherwise, a great stay!
The room smells terribly bad. Some two carpets are dirty in the room, they smell very bad. The air conditioner can't be turned on, because the bad smell comes from it. In three nights, the hotel has never brought a spare for shampoo and hair rinse.
This hotel was recommended by someone and was totally not disappointed at all! Great price, clean, beautiful, & friendly staff. Will stay here again if in the area.
The location is amazing. Really easy to get downtown, but the area doesn't have all the noise of the city. So much food and shopping nearby, and a movie theater. The rooms are very nice and not a bad size. I also really appreciate the floor being all tile with just a couple area rugs. It makes the room feel even more clean. The AC is also really nice. Keeps the room a consistent temp.

It's a bit of a bummer that the only place to comfortably watch the TV is from the bed. The chair is quite far from the TV and great for taking in the views, and the couch is on the same wall as the TV, so you can't see it at all from there.

The bathroom is nice, but has only one towel hook. There are 2 doors in the bathroom, one for the shower and one for the toilet. These doors have handles that can also be used as towel bars if you're trying to reuse towels, but then they are kind of in the way when someone wants to use those doors. Would also really have loved someplace to hang a hand towel. There's definitely space enough in the bathroom to do this, and maybe they will.

Would definitely keep this hotel on the list of places to stay when visiting Boston.
Great location, so much to see and do and eat very close to the hotel within walking distance.

Rooms very clean. No issues or problems there.

Pool almost unusable due to high levels of chlorine, walk into the pool room and its hit you in the face like a hammer.
Very nice hotel in every aspect except for the pool.

Rooms clean, hotel is new, location is great close to the orange line subway and a lot of food and shopping.

Pool is the only issue, there was so much chlorine that within 60 seconds of walking into the room I got a headache from the smell in the air. If they put a little ventiliation in the pool room it would be 100% better.
I would have given the room 4-5 stars, were it not obvious, upon waking up in the morning and pulling the cover back more, that they had made the bed with a cover someone had peed on at some point, and not just a little bit either. A LOT.

How could that have gone unnoticed in making the bed? In all my travels, this is something I have never encountered! As there was even a small stain on a sheet, I have to question whether the bedding was even "turned." Which would be horrifying even if we weren't germophobes.

It's very unfortunate, as this hotel is in a great location in a pedestrian-friendly, fun area.
Love this hotel so much!

1. Great staff - They are lucky to have Ani as their front desk, as you can feel her passion, enthusiasm, energy, and kindness started from check in process. She would be more than happy to introduce you everything, including dinning options, hotel facilities, etc. Other associates are friendly as well.

2. Fantastic location - it is located in a vibrant but quiet area, with a lot of options for you to shop, eat, and enjoy.

3. Secutiry - During midnight, you can still see hotel staff walking on the hallway to make sure everything is going right.

4. Parking options - you can either do valet parking or self-parking. Valet seems to be around $50 and offers in-and-out privilege, while the self parking garage is very close to the hotel, within 90 seconds of walk.

5. Clean - the room was clean.

Highly recommend!
Room was fantastic!
