I was having a difficult and frustrating time booking an overseas flight for four people. When I found Crystal Travel and specifically Grace, I was able to book my flight successfully. Marc Lee was amazing in helping me navigate through a rough time. I had purchased a pair of plane tickets via Kayak to Thailand to see my very sick father. However, my father had passed before the flight so i had cancel and buy a new pair of tickets. Marc Lee helped me in a big way from initiating the refund and requesting required documents for it. I and my family didnt have capacity to deal with that but it was no problem because of Marc’s excellent customer service. I am greatly grateful for what he did.

Great location for access to Manhattan being next door to exchange place on the PATH metro line. Nice and quiet location as well so a good night sleep is assured.

Views of Manhattan that cannot be beaten. Pricing less than Manhattan as well.

Overall, the hotel is aged and whilst audio visual is good, the quality of furnishings getting on the tatty side for my taste. Especially for £300 a night.

Rooms were not exactly as I expected. Also some of the items used to charge your devices did not work. Service was reliable and also the people there were quite kind. The location is absolutely amazing and the view is astonishing depending on where you are at. It’s close to many places for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Also there’s a park for any children wanting to play that’s staying at the hotel. Also there is a train that takes you to the city and over all it’s a good area .

Excellent location across the street from the Path! Room was very clean and the bathroom was large - Service was very accommodating. The bar served great cocktails. Loved my stay!

Below mediocre room and service. The bathroom gave me a feel of staying at a Wyndham. Rooms are old and dull. The location is good but not worth the price and service. I am a globalist and I booked a double room with New York City view and they upgraded me for a double room with New York City view which makes zero sense, I gather upgrades are based off availability but then don’t sell what customer bought as an upgrade. So zero perks for being a loyal globalist. Giving it 2 star only because of location.

Let me start this review off by mentioning, the views are breathtaking. However, thank goodness because if I had much breath left the age and musty smell of this location would have likely made me sick. We stayed here for a few days and I simply cannot believe that hotels exist that are this far behind the times. It looks like it was pulled right out of an old 60's mobster movie and has not changed since. Everything from top to bottom is outdated, old and appears to need a serious deep cleaning. The carpets and seating surfaces are frankly just gross. Its a shame because just driving up when you see the views its amazing. Also, stay away from the breakfast in the morning. Its simply awful.

We were placed in an end room of the hotel next to the river and had a balcony with chairs. So our views were spectacular.
The Good: Location. Great views of the NYC skyline. Easy access to public transportation: The Path terminal next door and NY Waterway ferry stations. Convenient walk to various eateries of all types of food. Play ground next door. Waterfront piers for walking or jogging. Very friendly & helpful staff. Providing a restaurant map. And public transportation tips & directions to get over to Manhattan & back. Nice fitness center which I used. I didn’t use the pool. Mini fridge in the room.
The Bad: The room decor seemed a little dated. Most common areas of the room were clean. Some were not. Beside & behind furniture. Corners. Dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling textures adjacent to the AC unit outlets. No microwave in the room.
The goods far outweighed the bad. I would stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location with great friendly staff! Better to stay in the Jersey city than staying in New York City. The rooms here are spacious with justice to your money.
You will not regret the walk just outside the hotel to the park overseeing the NYC skyline. We stayed in a rok with a balcony that had that view but everyone can experience the same view by walking out of the hotel for a mere 100m.

Very pleasant experience. The room was clean, quiet, and the view was nice. Problems though: The bathroom vent wasn't working, we had no face cloths, and the room didn't cool efficiently as the sensor is right below the output (so it kept shutting off prematurely). Pleasant bar staff and Vu restaurant was nice. Food was just okay.

These guys are very welcoming if you're a prospect tenant but once you're a resident here, then the real magic begins.
PROS: View, Near Newport station
CONS: exorbitant rent, no amenities like gym or even a common room, no visitor parking, cockroaches, poorly insulated walls, windows that are never cleaned.

They said if you renew the lease, hike will be nominal and not beyond 10% but they increased the rent by WHOPPING 20% and management didn't even bother to listen what they initially mentioned. And that was not it, even after paying such a PREMIUM REMT for an old building they started digging for a "Pool That No One Asked", this is causing such inconvenience to people as the access to building doors is now completely gone.
Please avoid and opt for better buildings, these guys are good for nothing.

Manipulate in pricing..
the view of course is terrific there but it's not as clean as I expected. Also, I booked online with 185 $/night and when we tried to check in we found it 275$. ( chocking) .They said it's the cleaning fee. It's totally manipulating attitude from their side.
I tried to book from their website and booking. Com and found the same price and confirmed as 185$, we're totally upset from that kind of cheating.
Dishonesty is making that place out of our list next time. :-(
unfortunately, We came from so far to face that ashamed attitude.
