A brilliant place to unwind and relax after a long day’s skiing. The relaxation area isn’t cheap to access, but you can spend a few hours in a range of different pools, saunas and steam rooms. There aren’t a huge amount of loungers, but they are possible to bag if you keep your eyes open!

My worst spa experience ever
Cold water in douche, no limit for quantity of people — you feel yourself like in a soup of people. No bathrobes for rent. One tourniquet for spa zone for entrance and exit so people are waiting in a long queue to pass. Cafe is primitive and you need to take you money or card with you to drink tea. And so on an so on. Never again

cold, expensive, overly crowded. no respect and only complete ignorance from other users of the adult spa section. The saunas aware overly crowded and the layout was honestly stupid. Too much space for absolutely nothing, could've doubled bath size. Towels cost 8€ and are not mentioned to bring along on the website. For an establishment this expensive and this size you would think that sauna towels are included. Reception was crowded and badly organized. Overall not an experience I want to have again

We went twice on our holidays with 2 young children and thoroughly enjoyed it.
You can spend hours there as you can use the cafe in your swimwear.
It is good value and there was so much for the children to do.
Various slides ,a diving pool and a fun outdoor area amongst other things.
The facility is spotless with great changing facilities with showers that provide soap.
Decent hair drying area for my children as well.
Def recommend

Great for families, wonderful slides, and a pretty good spa. There is a 25m pool for lane swimming, but it's not very big - this place is built for fun and relaxation rather than serious swimming.
There are 2 really fun water slides, a play area (with toys) for kids, and an outdoor area. The wellness was a bit underwhelming for me, although the treatment center looked excellent. The wellness centre was a salt pool (but not salty enough to float), and 4 sauna/steam rooms at different temperatures and humidities. Also also an ice bucket, which is a win!

Aquamotion has a lot to recommend it, but there are faults with the design. Firstly the floor in the pool area is dangerously slippery. There's nowhere for nervous young swimmers to practice their skills the play area is too shallow and the recreational swimming pools are too deep to be used without 1:1 supervision or flotation aids.
The showers are far too high and by the time the water reaches you there's no pressure, meaning that more water than necessary is used by those trying to wash their hair and it has cooled to an uncomfortable temperature.
The children's play area has "blind spots" and throughout the pool the supervision by the lifeguards is dangerously inadequate, although to be fair, on my most recent visit in August, this seemed to have improved.
It is a great facility, but if you're taking your children there. Be on your guard.

Excellent experience in this hotel with nice facilities (I liked the cinema with popcorns and easy access to aquamotion). Rooms are nice and clean, we even benefited from a free upgrade in a family suite because we stayed almost a week. Staff is courteous, helpful and friendly.
My only complain would be for the restaurant where the staff can sometimes be overloaded, and we sometimes had to wait a little while at the entrance for someone to find a seat for us (and manager pretending not to see us) or give us the card.

Great for a few hours. Pricing structure is annoying (a person can be an adult or a child to benefit their slightly absurd pricing policy). But it’s worth a visit nonetheless.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, albeit a little warm. But that had to do with the weather in general, and the fact that the hotel uses a cooling system rather than air conditioning, which is the right choice for the environment. We particularly enjoyed being able to put on our bathrobes and getting to the aquamotion through an indoor passageway. The spa facilities were great. Can only imagine how pleasant that must be in the winter (we were there in the height of summer).

Stayed at the hotel during June which seems to be off season. Main reason was how beautiful the hotel looked like on the web and its connection to the aquamotion which is a great place for kids and adults !
What can I say about the hotel - it is just stunning in all aspects . Truly 5 star rating from me. Just great .

I visited the climbing gym in Aquamotion. The Boulders are okay. There weren't many and they were built in a small room like a cave with really poor lighting and sometimes you couldn’t see the color of the holds because of this. But there were a lot more and better climbing routes with ropes. The boulder routes were with V grades (V1,V2,V3...) and the climbing routes were with the other style of grading (6a,6a+,6b,6b+,6c...) which was kind of weird but not bad. The instructor was also very polite and it cost 16 Euro including the climbing equipment.
Overall a good climbing gym with nice people.

Been once, no need to ever go again. Overly expensive for what it is, cost us nearly €70 for a family of 3, as our daughter is 4yrs old and so doesn't get the 3 or under free rate. Bordering on dangerous as there are no life guards monitoring the slides, as in someone at the top holding people back until is is safe to go down. I went down the painful rapids ride (slammed me so hard into the sides my hips are still bruised) and ended up flying into 3 French lads who had managed to stop themselves halfway down thinking it was funny to block the tube.
'Lifeguards' also failed to stop the two young boys messing around with the long pool noodles as they were waving them about violently trying to hit each other with them and nearly hit my daughter. Staff not either noticing or caring to do anything other than sit there in their sunglasses (indoors) trying to look 'cool' . . .
Call it a 'life experience' . . . one not to be repeated.

What a treat , very happy we visited the pool while we on ski holiday in the area
Very clean nice to be warm while it is freezing outside , the outside pool is another story , great hot water with snow all around you, free car park across the road and you enter through the subway from the hotel entrance. we didn’t want to leave . Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hotel way too expensive for what you get. The hotel is ok but we paid 1500 euros a night for a standard 4 persons room and that’s way too much money for this. The service is not what you expect when you pay 1500 euros for 1 night. For example we had a couch bed which we needed for our kids, we called the reception if they could make the bed, they said to do it ourselves. We asked for a refresh of our bathrobes, this was not possible.
The breakfast is super small, everyday the same, no variation. The restaurant in the evening is not good at all. The rooms are cleaned really late in the afternoon, so when we came back from skiing around 3/4 room often not cleaned.
Kids club was good. Ski lockers are also good.

We stayed for a week with our 2 year old son. This hotel have a great setup being connected with Aquamotion. And there is chair lift right outside of the ski room. The staff were nice and helpful on arrival.
What I liked about the family suite room: It's got a mini kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and a sofa bed. Very useful for family travellers.
However during our stay, the hotel had some problems we felt not up to the standard.
1. Door handle on the toile fall off, they did came to fix it but after that it's still falling off. A handyman came around 8pm again told me he will be back in 2 mins, and did not comeback. In the next day our nanny had to contact them again to get someone fit it.
2. The shower head holder is not tight so it kept drop down, again had to get someone to fix it.
3. To keep a quiet environment for my son's nap, we requested the house keeping to clean the room before 12, we are out everyday by 10am. But there was one day the cleaner came at 4pm while my boy is in bed.
4. We bought my son's favourite cutlery set so he can snack and eat in the room. But the house keeping cleaned away his little spoon, and the hotel could not find it after that.
5. The hotel doesn't state clearly the kid room is ok for kids under 4 with supervision. At first we were told it's only for kid aged 4+, and my son didn't get to play in the room for the first 2 days.
6. The breakfast options is very limited, and was 95% the same everyday. Pancakes were very dry and eating same thing for a week gets a bit boring.
When we checked out the hotel did give me free parking and removed the concierge fee. But I rather pay the full price and receive good service.

Great place to end the day after skiing. Buy the extra wellness access to enjoy some extra jacuzzi and sauna amenities

Had a very rude lady check me into the hotel and with a very moody attitude. No water was left in our room after the first night and we had to keep asking for water. Also no shampoo is provided and we had to keep asking for this.
This hotel charges a lot of money and the lack of service is astonishing.
The best thing about the hotel is the water park Aquamotion which is very cool. Aside from that, I wouldn’t recommend.
The breakfast is also very basic.
My review is 2/5 stars

The worst hotel I've stayed at. Extremely disorganized. I arrived at 5pm and the room was not ready yet, I had to wait another 2 hours after a long journey. The other day I organized skiing with the concierge and the teacher simply didn't show up. The food is horrible and tasteless. The hotel's fire alarm was ringing at 6 am for 10 minutes for no reason, causing all the guests to despair. And on the last day I organized a transfer to the airport, the hotel said it would charge me 400 euros, the driver charged me 590. I will never return and I do not recommend it to anyone! run away from this hotel

Where to start;
1. Entire room had strong smell of cigarette smoke when we checked in. We we let down to front desk ti let them know and they said they would have someone clean it. The cleaning guy came in and sprayed the curtains a few times which did NOTHING. We cracked the doors that night to air it out and it still smellled horrible the remainder of stay. The next morning I went to front desk to request a new room and the guy acted annoyed we even bothered him with this question. We had the nicest room so they said the only option would be to downgrade us to a much worst room.
2. Valet: any time I needed my car there was never anyone there waiting. I had to walk to front desk and they would call the valet. One time I waited 25 minutes just for valet to show up.
3. Understaffed- if you need something or have questions there are always lines at the front desk or at concierge. It was astonishing how understaffed they were when we needed something.
Overall, the actual hotel is beautiful but you can do much better in that area for the money it cost to stay at Ecrin.

A great place to unwind, chill, and soothe your muscles after a day on the slopes. The facility boasts a huge space for all ages whether it's to have fun or simply to relax. Do get yourself access to the Aquawellness area to relax in the heated pools and the various saunas of varying humidities and temperatures and then take a plunge in the outdoor "hot tub" (it's not heated) for a burst of rejuvenation!
Something to note is that for every 3 days of the Three Valleys Wellness Pass, you'll get free access here.
