I have visited three of their outlets in Mumbai (BKC, Powai, and Juhu). Powai seemed to be the better option in terms of service and quality of dishes. Do try their Fatar Baklava at least once and the Koshari as well as the different varieties of hummus available, particularly the Bayroute Special and Baharatli.

The Kebab Istanbul and Harissa Chicken are a 50-50 in turning out to be cooked well or dry.

-It's pretty cozy place to hang out.
-Harissa chicken kebab is definitely recommended.
-Didn't expect vegetarian options to be good too. Hummus was yummy.
-The only downside was the chocolate dessert, which had some raspberry or something which was very off-putting.

Amazing place and amazing hospitality. Satyam was too good and his hospitality was one of its kind. We were absolutely exhausted and not in the mood. He completely turned it around for us with his midas touch of hospitality. He took care of us and our kids so well.

Bayroute's Kunafa is a delightful blend of crunchy semolina pastry and sweet cheese, delivering a perfect balance of textures and flavors. Their Baklava is equally impressive, boasting layers of flaky phyllo dough filled with nuts and honey, creating a decadent treat that's sure to satisfy any dessert lover's cravings.

The food was OK. You pay a premium for the view, so don't be like us - go during the day. We went in the evening and there is essentially no view. We were overcharged in our bill because they said we were given an out of date menu. The price difference wasn't much but on principle they should not give out drinks menus which have cheaper prices, then without telling the customers, charge them more on their bill. We had to get the manager involved which was a pain. I couldn't recommend the restaurant unfortunately but if you go, go during the day.

Bayroute Cafe in Powai has always been on the hit list of many food enthusiast as it serves Turkish and Moroccan cuisines. The ambiance of this place hits the spot, beautiful decorated restaurant with soothing colors patterns.
You may have to wait to get a table if you haven’t booked in advance, coming onto the food we were a little disappointed, the non-veg dishes were still ok but the veg dishes were not up to the mark.
Hummus with Pita bread was the stand out dish. Chicken Skewers were also good but the rest were not as per the hype.

Beautiful restaurant with a great food, amazing atomphere , food was delicious with a great service.
Excellent food with lovely ambience.
I ordered harissa kebab ..
It was too delicious and the way of presentation of food is good.. I was amazed at the flavour explosion in my month , right from the smoky, tangy to the heat from the chillies.

Special Hummus by Bayroute, Veg Pide is highly recommended.
In veg platter 6 items were there, 3 were good and 3 were ok-ok. So will recommend to order individual dish.
Best place to go if you are a Mediterranean Food Lover or want to explore something different.
This was my second visit to Bayroute and I must say, I was a very happy and a full man. I was so happy and honestly, taken by surprise with all the amazing VEGAN options they had! And oh my god their Vegan Shawarma was out of this world! It was so delicious and tasty, that I ordered one to go as well! Their Hummus with veggies and Baba Ghanoush were very well made. The vibe is very nice and the food came ready and prepared very quickly. All the dishes were tasty and to the mark. If you wanna try a new cuisine or want you stomach full, then this is the place I highly recommend you to go too!
Great Ambience for a romantic dinner.
The setting the lights...the decor is top notch. Overlooking the Pheonix mall play area... Do insist to sit on the top floor. Food is tasty. Lovely mediterranean menu. The deserts are amazing. High cost but totally worth the experience for spl occasions. avg price for any dish Rs.650-700.
They serve some amazing cocktails.

At Rue Du Liban, the Bombay Jallab must've been quite the sip, since it's un-rated and shrouded in mystery. The Beirutty and Jineh Arayes were both middle-of-the-road, with the Beirutty hitting an average score and the Jineh Arayes being a tad too olive-y against its cheesy backdrop. The pita bread rose to the occasion with a solid 4 out of 5, while the Shish Taouk was a bit of a letdown, not quite living up to its meaty potential. But the Manti? That's where the magic happened—a full-on 5/5 for this veggie delight, vaulting over the usual falafel to tantalize the taste buds.

I went there on a weekday, so I expected a lesser number of crowds, and was not amazed to see that just one other customer.
Food was excellent. Middle East and Greek food is a totally different cuisine with different kinds of spices and sauce. I felt the chef had touched mostly all the notes of that flavour.
Seeing the extensive menu we decided to go with the non-vegetarian platter, which is there in their fifth year celebratory menu. As for dessert we tried a Greek pistachio dessert and that was phenomenal. The sand created by dark chocolate and the coffee pearls were great.
I can understand, that the chef is trying to recreate a foreign flavour profile using some local ingredients, so there might be certain pitfalls, but I personally appreciated that.
The cocktails were alcohol forward but tasted amazing and different.
Overall it was a great experience.

I had been on the lookout for a really good restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and after trying a couple in South Mumbai, this one has consistently checked all points. You must try the classic Hummus and tum. The kebabs and fish is just mouth watering. And they got it right with the vegetarian cuisine as well, which makes me stress free cause the most exhaustive food critic my vegetarian husband has something to make his taste buds tingle.

One of the best and authentic middle eastern food. The restaurant is definitely a Instagram place. We went as a team lunch there. I tried the hummus and pita bread for the first time and it was mouthwatering, yum I still can’t forget the taste of it. Good vegetarian options. Hummus with pine nuts is the best. Not to miss the baklava.

We were roaming Kala Ghoda Area and searching for different cuisines.

We stopped at Rue Du Liban, A Labanese Cuisine.

Ambiance is absolutely breathtaking.
Must must visit place if you want peaceful conversation during dining.
They have tried giving Candle light effect
and they succeeded.

We were skeptical about the menu at the start, but it turned out to be so mouthwatering.
I am vegetarian so I ordered veg only.
The food was so yummy.
Very different.

We ordered Mushroom Hummus, Falafal Pita bread, Lentil soup, and beverages.
All were 5 stars.

In the end, we ordered desserts, the best part.

Everything is freshly baked. They perpare by their own
Pita breads were freshly baked by them only.

Ice creams were so mouth-watering. No extra sugar, freshly prepared.

Please do visit.
And not too expensive, take care of your pocket.

Bayroute in Cuff Parade, South Bombay, is a hidden gem that might be easily missed by the casual passerby due to its unassuming exterior. Nestled on the main road amidst residential surroundings, the restaurant's facade lacks the flashiness that often characterizes city eateries. However, don't let the unimposing exterior deter you from discovering the culinary treasures within.

Once you step inside, you'll find a small yet cozy interior that embraces you with its warmth. The restaurant boasts both open and closed seating arrangements, catering to various preferences. However, it's worth noting that the bar area is quite petite, accommodating no more than four people comfortably.

The real star of the show at Bayroute is undoubtedly the food. Their hummus, in particular, is a standout dish, consistently delivering exceptional taste and quality. If you're looking for a sweet treat, the Pistachio Baklava is a must-try, featuring layers of flaky pastry and rich pistachio goodness.

Service at Bayroute is commendable, with courteous waitstaff attending to your needs. While not outstanding, it gets the job done efficiently, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Comparing this Cuff Parade branch to its counterpart in Powai, it becomes apparent that this one may fall short in terms of space and ambiance. The compact nature of the restaurant can make it feel somewhat congested during peak hours, potentially detracting from the overall dining experience.

One aspect where Bayroute in Cuff Parade doesn't quite hit the mark is the pricing. The cost of dining here is on the higher side, which might not be in line with the ambiance and service offered. It may not be the most pocket-friendly option in the area.

In summary, Bayroute in Cuff Parade is a restaurant that surprises with its excellent food and welcoming interior. While it may not draw you in from the street, it certainly captures your attention with its culinary delights. Despite a somewhat cramped atmosphere and a pricing that leans towards the expensive side, it's a place worth considering for those seeking a taste of Mediterranean cuisine in South Bombay.

Compared to the Powai outlet, Bayroute BKC leaves a lot to be desired. The place is tiny and isn't as well done with interiors as one would expect. It's quite average.

The service staff was a disappointment. They didn't know the menu well, couldn't recommend good dishes, the plates weren't replaced on time and water wasn't served unless asked for. They seemed quite disinterested. The manager was nice and gave us a table as soon as possible.

Bayroute's food is great if you like Persian cuisine, though they could've recommended better dishes when we asked. Cocktails are good.

Don't forget to try the lamb kebabs, their special hummus and the baklawa style desserts.

I have enjoyed eating food from here, the dajaj harra with hummus especially, for years. I was a staple for me for months when I needed dinner late at night. However, of late the quality of the food has rapidly declined. The pitas sometimes are stale and very stiff. The portion size of the chicken varies! And so so does the quality. Sometimes its quite crispy, sometimes just too soggy. It really hurts me to see the quality getting worse, since I really used to look forward to eating the food here.

The place has fine ambience with good seating arrangement both indoors and outdoors. The decor and get up of the place is amazing and gives a sufi feel.
The staff is friendly and hospitable, service is good. The staff is well trained and can do tricks done by people in the area of this cuisine.
The food was average and not flavourful. Even the signature dish like humus lacked consistency, texture and flavour. The drinks were pretty decent and nicely made.

Overall an above average place. One can try it for a one time basis to have a good ambient feel.

Really Really good! Amazing food and excellent service. The head chef, Aashiq, handles it all and makes delicious food. We were serviced by two kind and gentle waiters, Aman and Sheldon (no, not Cooper), with excellent servicing qualities. We Parked at Kala Ghoda and walked down.
The place is comfortable for Family, Friends and Colleagues. All groups.
Food is out of the world, surprises you with presentations and flavoursome. All options available. We had a 3 course Lunch for three and the bill was around 5500/- I would say not that expensive given the ambience, location and food experience.

Staff is hospitable, service is prompt and courteous. I personally needed more Light, but may not be a norm.

Closes at 3.30 pm and they take their last order at 3.

Visited Arbab on a late Saturday night. A perfect date place with a cozy middle eastern vibe.

One side of the restaurant serves hookah. Food was great. Loved the pickled veggies with shawarma.

Helpful and friendly staff.

Only draw back is open sitting and no AC!
We went during summers so weren’t very comfortable. Although there are sufficient fans it gets very sticky

Authentic, high quality taste. Especially the Koobideh & Adana Kebabs.
Bayview has one of the best views of Marine Lines. It’s the only good place in South Mumbai which serves midnight buffet.
The overall ambiance & atmosphere is fantastic.
The staff is friendly and helpful

Price wise the food is worth. Love the options of food in the menu. This time since it is Mango season goin on… we got a chance to try their Aam rass and puris too.

The staff is courteous & helps you while ordering the food. The quality of food served is brilliant.

They have a lot of good options in desserts as well. Overall enjoyed the meal out here.
Would definitely come here back.

Visited on a weekend a bit late in the night. It had ample seating thus assuming reservations won’t be necessary. I parked the vehicle in the Kala ghoda parking and walked about 70 metres to reach here. Would recommend everyone with a vehicle to do the same in case you don’t have a driver

They do specialises on Lebanese. Thus we started with Hummus and pita bread and followed by certain succulent kebabs. Overall the quality was great and the food tasted wonderful. The service was prompt
The three of us visited this Lebanese restaurant at palladium. The atmosphere was quite and the decor was decent. It was not crowded around 9ish at night and we got our preferred seating. Browsing through the vegetarian options, we ordered two starters and one main course and ended on a sweet note with baklava.

Overall, the best part was baklava presented beautifully and tasted sumptuous. Never had such with a layer of icecream in it.

Traveling from Navi Mumbai to Bandra on a weekend. And then waiting for more than 30mins, it wasn't worth it.
We got a table around midnight.
Although I don't mind the waiting if the food & service is good.
Had heard a lot about Arbab from my brother. Sadly, was left extremely disappointed.
Have lived in middle East, I know what the food is supposed to taste like. This has been a total disaster.
1. Ambience & the vibes are good.
2. Great choice of music. These were the only pros !!

3. Chilli hummus was good but the khabus we were served was like papad. Not at all soft or fluffy. I am not even kidding. Then we ordered for a basket of khabuos, which thanx to their super slow service we ended up cancelling.
4. Batata harra took more than 30mins to be served up, only leaving us disappointed again with the spices not upto the mark and potatoes being extra hard & difficult to chew
5. Zatar manakeesh was so- so. Have had better one's.
6. Iced Peach tea & watermelon mojito were good BUT our watermelon mojito took 20mins to be served.
With the super slow service & the quality of food, we didn't want to risk ordering desert or any other dish.
My brother has had their kunafa earlier and said it's not good at all.

I am not sure if I had a bad experience as it was weekend. But the service was very slow & not upto the mark. Had the food been worth it,I could have ignored the slow service. Seriously Disappointed.
* Overpriced. Overhyped.
* Is it worth the hype ? NO
* Have I had better Middle Eastern dishes in Mumbai ? For sure
* Would I visit them again ? Nope. Cant waste my time over travel just to wait and get served such poor quality of food.

You have the owner & friends standing at the entrance and smoking on your face with nothing to be bothered about the ongoing service.

UNHAPPY !

LOCATION:
Firstly, keep an eye out for Boards and Ask the security, the entry to the place is like a puzzle, via an industrial estate, into another building! Google Maps may take to you closer, jot to the final destination.

AMBIENCE:
Fab when the occupancy is low, when we Entered at 8ish, only 2 tables were occupied and the place was peaceful, with good music vibes and decent decor.

By 9ish, it was upto 80% occupancy, noisy, kids crying, waiters shouting orders, etc

FOOD: (We eat Veg. Only)
The overall food looks and tastes good. It cutlery is unique and pretty. The portion sizes are good for two. But we felt bloated post dinner (maybe we ate more!)

We had ordered for Medley Hummus Platter, Cottage Cheese Pide (Turkish Pizza, Shaped like a boat) and a falafel wrap along with Hoegaarden Beer.

The Hummus Platter was good (Bay route has it better), Turkish Pizza was bland, they forgot the sides! Falafel Wrap was decent (they again forgot to not add raw onions in it as we had requested)

SERVICE:
Great service if you see only couple of tables around you, otherwise it's the worst.

First, always check if they placed your order in the kitchen, we waited almost 45mins for our food, enquired multiple times and then they realized they forgot to place the order in the system/kitchen!

Second, food preferences, customization won't happen. We asked our wraps to be minus of the raw onions, but we got them as they make it. So if you are allergic or have religious beliefs, avoid ordering the item with those ingredients, coz they won't consider your request.

Overall the staff is polite and cheerful, but also forgetful. Some more training, more experience, better systems in place.

I'll not visit this place again.

I ordered a Chicken shawarma platter.
Food was nice, tangy yogurt sauce with char grilled chicken with a side of french fries. I also called for their watermelon mojito which was quite refreshing. I ordered it via the table app but it took around 25mins for each order to arrive. I had to go two times both for the shawarma and mojito to ask if it was ready. Other than that it's good.
One of the best place for shawarma.
Variety of shawarmas available at very affordable price..
Must place to visit..
Great experience..

I have been here two times before and this was the third time I went there.
For dinner we had -

Corn and cheese Kuru with chicken-
It was a mashed potato and mixed blend of corns, cheese, chicken, mixed herbs and was topped with parsley. They kept the out skin of the potato intact. All the flavours were mixed appropriately. A bit bland to taste.

Mutton and Egg Pide -
It was like a flat bread pizza. Was the best dish we tried in evening. It was awesome to taste and full of meat.
**MUST TRY**

Spinach and feta triangle -
It was crispy from outside and and soft from inside containing spinach. It was stopped with cheese and was served with a small cheese dip. Very tasty. A bit bland to taste.

Herbed bread -
It was complementary. This bread was soft and was served with oil dip.

It costed somewhat around 1800. Was a good experience and would like to visit again and again.

Desserts are standard but food is pretty alright. Decently priced as well.

Mr Mathew suggested me the variety of options and I had a blast of flavours. Friendly staffs and good portion of food to keep your hunger busy. If you’re visiting please make sure what’s their specialty and take the suggestions.
I still wanted to try more Lebanese options here, hungry amd will come for more.

Yalla Yalla: Mumbai's Middle Eastern Restaurant for Quick and Delicious Food

Yalla Yalla is an exquisite Middle Eastern restaurant in the heart of Mumbai. The restaurant is ideal for those searching for a fast and excellent meal on the go. Yalla Yalla serves a variety of Middle Eastern delicacies that are sure to please your taste. Prices are also very reasonable, making it a viable alternative for people on a tight budget.

Every meal is prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients, from the basic hummus and pita bread to the delicious shawarma chicken. The hummus with spicy shawarma chicken is a standout meal that is both savoury and substantial.

The restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambience, making it ideal for a meal with friends and family. The staff is kind and helpful, ensuring that every customer enjoys a pleasant eating experience.

Overall, Yalla Yalla is a fantastic Middle Eastern restaurant that serves good meals at reasonable costs. Yalla Yalla is definitely worth a visit, whether you're in a rush or searching for a spot to settle down and enjoy a meal.
This was an unmitigated disaster. We have one word of advice for someone planning to visit. "D'ONT". There are far far better places out there who actually know what they are doing. We ordered the spinach and feta triangles. To start. The feta was used as a garnish and not part of the actual dish, and the spinach had dill mixed through it which overpowered it completely. We thought we tasted it, asked the server, he said no, went back and checked with the kitchen. We were right. Disastrous start to the evening, but we persevered. We ordered the lamb Patti kebab. It tasted like the chef put whatever spice he could lay hands on into it. Nowhere close to the Mediterranean flavour we know so well. Could have easily come out of any North West frontier kitchen. We wanted a mint tea, but all they had were tea bags. Are we really paying restaurant rates for teabags dipped in hot water?
We didn't want to ruin our evening by trying anything else, and went elsewhere.

The falafel wrap was soo dryy. The falafel and the fries was uncooked… not at all satisfied. And I’m posting the picture here as well the wrap also had hair inside.🤮🤮🤮 you’ll have to see this before ordering.
This place is one of my fave go- to places for comfort meals. Recently i ordered falafel open shawarma and chicken mezze platter at home. Loved everything about it. Especially the quantity. Vfm, Filling and a hearty meal. It was perfect for a cozy anniversary celebration at home.
This small food startup in Bandra is a hidden gem. I have tried many items on the menu and the food has always been fresh, tasty and wholesome. The guy who runs the place is friendly and more than happy to help you select the dish that will suit your preferences.

I tried the mutton seekh rolls and charcoal chicken wraps today and they were exquisite. The flavours were balanced, and the taste was authentic. I must mention that the packaging and delivery is also great. Gives you the extra assurance with respect to hygiene and quality.

All in all, this palette has something that will suit every palate.

Yalla Yalla has changed so much over the years, and not really for the better.

Their portions are really good. The flavours are usually good. Please avoid sauteed veggies as they love to add huge chunks of vegetables that are inconvenient and not nice to eat.

The platters, shawarma, onion and fitr manakesh and fries are my absolute favourite.

The garlic sauce is quite sharp and not pleasant to eat.

The loaded fries/nachos can be avoided for delivery as it's unpleasant to eat after the first 10 mins of it being prepared.

One of the prominent places to have middle eastern food, Yalla Yalla specialises in the cuisine and has some really authentic food in this category.

Their fries are quite crisp and yummy. Their shawarmas are a notch above all their competitors. They have options for large and regular shawarma according to your appetite. Their falafels are also tasty. While they don't have a big enough seating, their food's yumminess makes up for it. Overall, you got to try their shawarma more than anything else.

Going to visit again when we crave middle eastern food next 😍

I love #Arabic food and I constantly keep hunting for a good restaurant that would serve Arabic cuisine. Recently discovered @miniyaturkmumbai .

This is located at Veera Desai Road, inside the lane of the Little door. While the place has been atleast 2yrs old, we found it through @zomato when we were in same vicinity. Another Turkish restaurant, next door refused to give us table though we had called them earlier...but it was good that happened or else we would have not discovered this new place.

The staff is super friendly and courteous. They suggest dishes to order, explain their preparation and also guide with the portion sizes. The ambience is pretty.

What we ordered:
1. Zatar Tavuk Pide: Pide is Traditional Turkish flatbread. The bread combined with various toppings cooked to form a common Turkish meal; Turkish pizza.

This one was stuffed with chicken, olives, caper and spices.

Just like pizza, baked to perfection. Stuffing was delicious.

2. Shawarma Wrap

3. Falafel

4. Turkish Baklava: this was little different from what I have eaten otherwise. It was stuffed with dates stuffing and topped with dryfruits. Loved it.

Price wise it is quiet descent, costs minimum Rs.2500 for two. They also serve alcohol.

The chef here is well trained, the food definitely has the authenticity of #Turkish cuisine.

We will soon be visiting again, they have so many different varieties of Turkish meals available on their menu.

Hospitality: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Food taste: 4/5
Hygiene: 4/5

The Bay View Restaurants : Located at the most Porsche area of South Bombay, Nariman Point/ Marine Drive.
This is situated on 1st floor of Marine Plaza.
This Cafe is 24 hours operational and best known for their Buffets and Brunches.
I visited on a Sunday noon with my husband to spend some quality time, I must say we really enjoyed the vibe there.
The sea facing restaurant, giving us a view of queen’s necklace with some scrumptious food served in the Buffet, made our Brunch just amazing.
They had a live singer singing which made the Brunch exciting and fun.
You will spot family crowed and moreover sophisticated people around.
The service by the staff was courteous and friendly.
On my special Jain recommendation they did get me some portion made specially for me, apart from the Buffet.

The spread of the Buffet was extravagant, specially their Salad and Dessert station, we had so much to choose that the choice was really difficult.

Honestly a worth experience at The Bay View Restaurant.

I very well recommend this for some elite experience and worthy price.
This place is just a gem. I hope more people discover it and enjoy their delicious and authentically prepared food. The Adana kebabs took me back to a meal I had on the Bosporous. Love your food Persian Palette team and keep innovating

If you are looking out for the best persian food in Bombay, Persian Pallete has to be on the top of your list. The owner is kind and they respond to messages promptly. Being a home based kitchen, you need to place an order in advance with them. I ordered the following,
1) nalli nihari
2) adjana lamb kebabs
3) charcoal chicken with zucchini salad
4) chicken kubedeh
5) Lebanese lamb kebabs
6) bagdadi rotis
7) phirni
There was not a single item that wasn't liked by our guests and us. The food was delivered on time and the taste, took us back to the gulf. I will definitely be a forever client and I highly recommend Persian Pallete.

I’d noted this Middle Eastern home delivery kitchen and was waiting to experience it.

We did last night and it was outstanding.

We ordered 3 different mutton mince kababs

Adana kabab (Turkish)
Koobideh kabab (Iranian)
Lebanese kofte
With Baghdadi Roti

We received a message when the meal was enroute and paid online.

The portions are generous and the kababs delicious.

Each kabab was different.. and very tasty .. they’re served with whole grilled tomatoes and onions. And yogurt dip.

The very interesting menu includes chicken kababs, rolls, Haleem and rice preparations too.

Will be trying more items next time!

Don’t forget to try them out if you enjoy good food..
