Best food ever! The chicken shawarma, rice, and salad was the most delicious food I have ever had. You have to try the tea and baklava too. It is amazing. The guy was super nice and welcoming. He gave us some good information about things to do around the area. I wish I lived closer because I would be there all the time.
I LOVE this place, the best gyros I have ever had, I could eat them all day. The customer service is incredible, and the guys are super nice. Great food and great service. Would 100% recommend Avalon Pockets.
Wow! On our way to Jungle Adventures, we stopped here for some food and I could NOT have been more pleased with our selection. We each got a serving of the grape leaves, one veggie and one meat - both were excellent. We got two more servings of the veggie to go!! I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and I think it was the best I have ever had. I am full and SO satisfied with the flavor and quality of this meal. Very generous portions. Do not pass this place up if you are in the mood for Lebanese food! Didn't take more pictures because we gobbled it up so fast.
We went there with the family and we’ve never been treated so well at a restaurant around Orlando. The food was delicious and the portions were great! In the end, we were treated with delicious tea and the kids got cupcakes. We all loved it!
This place is a hidden gem! Today was our first time visiting, and the food and service were amazing! The portion sizes were huge, and everything was so flavorful. I had the loaded bowl with a gyro/chicken mix. The meat and sauce were delicious, and I took home over half of it because it was so large. My daughter had the chicken quesadilla, which she said was really good. The gryo sandwiches were very large and delicious. We also tried the hummus, which was so smooth and beautifully presented.
The man who took our order behind the counter and brought our food out was so kind, and he checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything.
This was honestly some of the best food I've had since moving to Orlando a year ago. If you haven't tried it yet, go eat there right now!

How have I never been to this place?! It is so good! Got an awesome gyro packed with meat and veggies. Probably one of the best gyros I’ve had in Orlando. I’ll definitely be back.

This place is absolutely delicious! We got the mixed gyro + souvlaki platter which was plenty of food for two people and then some. Very affordable and amazingly delicious. We will definitely be back! :)

I didn't like the food at this place and it doesn't compare to other Lebanese restaurants I went in Orlando and in Lebanon itself when I visited the country a year ago. I wanted to see the food and also the place, and I decided to buy the most expensive food, Mixed Kabob. I arrived in this place and it was completely empty and I didn't like all that food exposed and that Kebab meat that looked like it had been roasted hours ago, but because It was so dry and dark, it looked like the meat had been roasted the day before. A man was slicing that dried meat and putting it on the hot plate along with the chicken just to heat it up, but all the meat was dry, tasteless and hard. The rice and salad did not taste fresh. I saw another guy heating the rice in the microwave and putting together my order. It was tragic to see that. I requested babaganoush, but they gave me hummus. The only thing that was ok in the order was the pita bread. I was extremely disappointed with this place. I threw practically all the food in the trash for fear of getting sick because of the taste. There is a difference between food having no flavor and being fresh and having no flavor and not being fresh. The most expensive food I paid from this place with taxes, was $36, IT HAS NO TASTE AND ISN'T FRESH AT ALL! I won't be returning to this place again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'm sorry for the comment. Ah, I strongly suggest to the guy who put together my order to take off his gloves before receiving money from orders, or change gloves, or find another specific person to receive money from others. Handling food and money at the same time is very unhygienic.
This was such a hidden gem that we stumbled upon. Every single bite we took was followed by a “omg, you have to try this!” The flavors and textures were mind blowing and so unexpected. The server (maybe owner) was incredibly nice and timely. Truly, I am so glad we happened upon Zaman.
Please never stop making this awesome shawarmas!! We stopped by because we were curious and ended up trying the best shawarmas I've had in Orlando! Definitely will come back!

I understand this may help your business run. But nobody absolutely nobody is coming back if you charge them 18% fee everytime they eat something here.

And you know what is better? The owner gave us a sample of their new dish: the Kabsa, and it's soooooooo good. It literally tastes like homemade 😋 😋😋.

Halaal and delicious. I like Lebanese food in general so I was delighted when my friend introduced me to this place. I finished everything in our order of lamb, chicken and beef gyro platter. The yellow rice is pure joy.
The service is great and the gentlemen were very great at explaining the dishes. I like their various options of drinks. The food is made fresh. Highly recommend!

Not a great last-minute stop for a meal. Meat was dry and bread tasted freezer burnt. The place was clean and well organized. I give it that.

The service and the food quality went down the hill. Food is not fresh specially the chicken shawarma and the meat is reheated many times. Don't be surprised when eating a shawarma sandwich to see burnet hard pieces of meat. Same with rice is hard and not fresh. On the top of that a worker who stands at the restaurant door smoking a cigarette then turn his back to go prepare your food. Terrible service. Don't waste your money there. Orlando has much better food options.

I order hot sauce and it was mixed with ketchup plus I was charged for it , I paid with my card realized they charged 4% for using my credit card. The prices were double than usual, the food quality worse than before I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s great to have a little piece of New York City here in Orlando. Nouren helped me this Sunday evening with excellent customer service; she had a very inviting attitude, and was quick and generous with my order. Exceeded my expectations!
Definitely one of my favorite places in Orlando. I used to go to the UCF restaurant every now and then when I lived in Orlando, and today when I came back, I remembered why. The food quality is great and everything is well seasoned and balanced. Service can be somewhat slow, but it is not a deal breaker personally.
We were on a pleasure visit to Florida and wanted to try a Mediterranean food. This restaurant reviews on google were 4.9 out of 5 which made my expectations high as sky. So we came in and ordered Beef kabob platter, lamb kabobs platter, cheese pie, and chicken shawarma. The lamb kabobs were really good, juicy and tender. The beef on the other hand were dry and flavorless. Chicken shawarma was on ok side. Cheese pie was also just ok. The rice given to us were white rice and I have seen it rarely seen white rice in Mediterranean food. Also they charged us extra for not paying on cash. I seriously don’t understand this mentality of small businesses, first they want customers to support them and then they charge customers without informing them on something that is very common across US. I mean who keeps cash in their pocket nowadays. Anyways not a restaurant I would like to come back. Just ok experience for me.

Good flavor but the portions are small for the price, the beef was a thin layer spread over some white rice and advertised jasmine rice but was not jasmine rice, also the side of falafel was stale, I ordered the beef shawarma over rice.
The hands down best Lebanese good I have ever had. Among the disappointing meals my family had during our vacation, this was the best.

Absolutely delicious freshly cooked food that is well seasoned. My husband and I were very impressed. Outstanding customer service (even table side with sauce).
I visited this restaurant on my husband's recommendation to try the Kofta burger he so enjoys. I must say, the experience was excellent with great food. I tried their falafel, and it is now my second favorite place for falafel. The quality and taste were outstanding.

First time ordering in this place. People inside were friendly and recommended sauces to go with the food I got. For meat lovers, I highly recommend the shawarma platter—all flavors complemented each other. Also, finish off your meal with their baklava. Its got a nice crunch and just the right amount of sweetness. Legit halal food place in the area!

Great low-key but delicious Mediterranean place! Wife and I got the Chicken Shawarma Platter and Falafel Platter which were both tasty including the sides. Tahini was not bitter at all and falafels tasted really fresh.
Restaurant does not offer any sort of beverage not even water no cups nothing you have to buy bottled water or cans of pop out of the refrigerator. We ordered the family platter for 4 to 6 people and only received two very small shot glass cups of sauces. We had to keep asking for bread because we weren’t given enough pitas for six people. You don’t get a lot of meat or appetizers with a platter but you get a ton of rice. I wouldn’t classify this place as a restaurant more like a walk up and wait for food.

Came in from Tampa to make it to the MCO airport and stopped by for a quick meal. We ordered both the chicken and beef wraps and were satisfied with the quality! Our food did take longer than expected to come out but that’s because everything is freshly made. Very happy and pleased with our experience and would recommend to others!
Incompetent, rude staff. Walked in and saw the woman just sprawled on the chair on her phone, failed to greet us, and had a lack of good customer service. Ordered a wrap and asked the lady to cut it in half and she kept on insisting to use their plastic utensils to cut it when I specifically stated that I would take it to go. She refused to cut it for us which would have been convenient as we weren't eating there. Totally rude and unprofessional. Previously, we tried to come during business hours twice. Google states that they open at 3pm and the website fails to mention operating hours. We finally called after 4pm and got through to someone. Tried to place an order over the phone but the woman refused to take the orders and stated that we needed to place an order on their website. The website didn't seem trustworthy to order so we actually had to go into the store to order.

The restaurant serves really delicious Arabic dishes. We ordered beef mukalal and the mixed grill dish. Both were extremely tasty. But the grilled chicken was amazing. I have never tried such delicious grilled chicken it was tender and juicy 😋.

Sucked. Awful service. Took 20 minutes to get a chicken wrap. Didn’t try and eat the food. Slow, confused service. I paid, but the cashier would not refund us for a weird dessert with a hamburger bun on top. I walked out. Place was dirty. Doors were full of finger prints.
I’ve been to so many halal restaurants and I can assure you that is one of the best, very large portions and the food is very tasty, the chicken and meat is NOT dry nor hard, just perfect. I highly recommend visiting this lovely restaurant

I had a wonderful dining experience here! The lamb haneeth and lamb soup I ordered were delicious. The portion size was just right, and the friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere. Also, the speed that the food came out was reasonable. This restaurant is a true gem for those looking to enjoy authentic Yemeni cuisine in a pleasant setting.
Falafel taste good but it is very dry. Hummus and tabbouleh is fresh you can tell it while eating. Serving of the bread is less. I ordered a platter, on the menu that says it comes with rice and a sauce but I didn’t see any of it on my order. Also on the expensive side. Paid almost $15 without drinks. Service is acceptable but not really outstanding. No free service water.
I came to habibi for lunch. There was not many people in Habibi’s for a Friday lunch. The party I came with never had Lebanese food before so I took them here to try. Everyone left satisfied. It’s a meal you can eat and feel like you ate light but are still full. I had the beef Shawarma sandwich. I got a side of yellow rice. I saw the other review on google saying that yellow rice was reheated but I did not experience this. The rice was moist with lots of flavor and the shawarma wrap was delicious. If I could go back I could probably ask for no picked onions ( I think they were pickled onions) but the food was very good. As far as the atmosphere, it felt like there were some good touches with the art but some of it felt dated. The booths also need to be reupholstered. I think if he added some traditional Lebanese music it would really add some life to the restaurant. It was just too quiet.
Overall, very good food and vibes. Everything was pretty good and fairly priced. There were a few flies inside, I guess they really liked the food too 😂😭. Their food was not the hottest and the freshest but it was still really good. Overall I would recommend it

The food was great and everything was nice, but the restaurant's menu is extremely overpriced compared to many halal restaurants in town.
This is my second visit, and both times we enjoyed our food! This place was hopping at dinner time, and it took about 15 mins for our to go order to be ready. But, seeing them make the kebabs fresh on the grill made it worth the wait.

Great experience and kind service while eating lunch with my family. The interior was kinda quiet but business picked up around lunchtime. This was our first experience and the food was great very fresh and delicious. Thank you for a great meal. Best Regards.

I got the mixed Shawarma plate pictured below with hummus, tabouli, and lentil rice. It was absolutely delicious!! So much flavor, and the portion was HUGE!! Definitely enough for more than one meal. The service was incredible as well! My partner got the beef shawarma sandwich which he enjoyed a lot. We bought some baklava to go and ate it on the way home. It was phenomenal!! We will definitely be back!!
The table was too high, also it was covered with a plastic that stuck to our elbows every time we put our hands on the table. We ordered shish (sikh) kebab with salad. The kebab was dry, broke into pieces and over spiced. Naan and salad were really good.
Truly the best food in town! All their wraps are so delicious. I love the gyros and shawarmas. They have the best wings too, so good! Their platters are exceptionally made and all their sauces are made from scratch. Fresh, delicious, and great customer service!
The location is just right out of florida mall which is great, the service is so modest and you shouldn’t charge a customer before being served, after I eat you give me my cheque, and If I liked the food I would leave a tip. The food wasn’t good at all although the plate looked great at first. I ordered a mixed shawarma platter, it isn’t a good thing to cut the burnt parts of meat 🥩 or the chicken 🍗 which looks like that they have been standing for a long time there on the metal bar and serve them to me, you should throw those in the trash 🚮 not in my plate, the salad 🥗 I ate had a cracking sound while I ate, I felt I was eating rocks or stones of salt 🧂. My wife couldn’t eat it at all, a frustrating and disappointing experience and I wouldn’t go there again for sure.

Small, but cozy dining area. The front end person, Bilaal, was super nice and suggested the Kefta Beef, as I was between that and the Chicken Shawarma. I have never had Kefta, and it had great flavor, but I feel like it was over-cooked because it was very dry! The rice is cooked to perfection and the falafel are great, as well. The hummus was super smooth and flavorful enough. I would try this place again! If you have cash, use it- they have a 4% up charge for cards.

First of all want to be very clear the quality of food is very clean and fresh. However here is where everything goes south..this store is a straight up American Middle Eastern food. I am a very multi cultural person who lived in Egypt, visited Turkey and just plainly loves quality food. Upon entering the store it is very clean however the set up was more like a franchise. The shawarma that I ordered was not and I repeat was not a traditional shawarma and I ordered both chicken and beef. The guy tried to convince me that it was traditional and.i said buddy no. The chicken was as it was thrown on the grill flavors all over the place, and slapped onto a plain tortilla. Yes! Who makes shawarmas with tortillas? Where is the shami bread? And also the white sauce was a joke.. the beef shawarma absolutely disgusting. The beef was harder than cardboard. The hummus hsd chunks of meat so hard. I am very disappointed.

There was a wonderful Egyptian waitress who was doing her best to wait an (initially) packed restaurant during rush hour traffic. She was incredibly sweet, and took our orders.

Egyptian hummus contains an ingredient called sumac, traditional to Egypt, but tastes extremely unfamiliar to those familiar to greek or Lebanese hummus. Do not expect greek or lebanese hummus flavors. Perhaps this is the most surprising part of the flavors I did not particularly like, but a little tahini helped the flavor quite a bit (which is itself an ingredient of hummus).

We came here as a happy accident, and I couldn't be more happier we all somehow simultaneously forgot the Sabbat, and ended up here instead. The tabouli was not the best I've ever had, but it was pretty decent. I suppose again the main thing I didn't like is the cultural difference from the lebanese tabouli I am more used to.
I tried the falafel off of my family, and it was definitely very crunchy and soft, and everything else my family ate was delicious.
Funnily enough we were about to go to an overpriced kosher restaurant--before realizing they were closed for Sabbat. We came here as a happy accident, and I couldn't be more happier we all somehow simultaneously forgot the Sabbat, and ended up here instead. The prices here were very reasonable, and the food was absolutely worth the price. I very much will be coming back here.
This is a great option for food in the aree around universal. We ordered their platter for 2-3 people and the starters were amazing. The hummus was so good and the fatoush salad was refreshing after walking all day. Their platter seemed fresh, but I think the meat could have been cooked a few minutes less so it's juicer. I found the kafta and beef shish to be extremely dry and tasty. The chicken was better, but it's really hard to mess up dark meat. If you go, ask them to not overcook your meat.
First time here and only thing I can say is wow. From customer service, to the food, to the price.. it was really really good. We got two sandwiches; one with falafel and one with chicken. From the first bite, we fell in love. It was flavorful and fresh; Most importantly, it was filling and I felt good about it too. 10/10 would recommend and come back. They also cater!
Walked in with only two minutes to closing time. I insisted I leave so as not to be an inconvenience. But assured me it would be alright. Glad I stayed, ordered the chicken wrap.... and it was spot on. Get their homemade sauces... they are so good.

The food was amazing, the service was amazing, the quality was wonderful for the eyes and body, and over all the experience was extraordinary. In the near future I am going to bring my spouse here, and I will return back here to this amazing restaurant. If you’re in Orlando you should definitely check this place out!! 😁😁😁

I picked this randomly after seeing it pop up on my Google Maps environment. I enjoy experiencing different cultures through their cuisine and this was amazing. The food was incredible, the service was friendly and relaxed, and we loved the artwork on the walls. The lamb kabsah was stop in your tracks good. The meat was well-seasoned and was falling off the bone. The rice was perfect. Everything was beyond enjoyable and we ended off with a delicious coconut treat.
We are so grateful for the manager helping us with a meal. We had some curry chicken and some rice and a NICE HELPING of it! This restaurant is very warm and has some nice art on the wall as well. Halal Food Express also serves Chicken Wings, Pizza and drinks as well. If your in Orlando on I-DRIVE please support this business!

I ordered chicken biryani it was sooooo delicious. My husband ordered the lamb haneeth and he liked it . 👍🏼 they aslo served us a complimentary tea and sweet( sooo tasty).

I had the combo platter with beef chicken and chicken thighs. I also had the baklava. The food was so good from the rice to meats all delicious.. :) the staff were so nice and friendly. The restaurant was clean . O my goodness I will definitely be going back ..
A hidden gem. Fantastic, authentic middle eastern cuisine. The owner is a welcoming, humble, gentleman and he is happy to serve his customers.
The hummus and naan bread is excellent. The bread is fresh and has great flavor. I could tell the hummus was made in a traditional middle eastern style and not some sort of store brand hummus.
The chicken kasbah is up to par with what is served in the middle east. They give a spicy sauce to go with it and a yogurt sauce to cool it down after.

I stopped here because I wanted something delicious and simple.. this hit the spot! Although it looked a little run down on the outside, when I went in I was greeted warmly and friendly! The menu was much smaller than I expected but it still had some things that I wanted. I decided to go with a chicken shwarma wrap and added fries. I also got the garlic sauce they said came on my wrap so that I could dip my fries in...and let me tell you... I suggest that everyone do this! That sauce was absolutely incredible! Not that the fries needed it because they were so good! They were seasoned crispy and soft at the same time! The wrap was also so yummy! The only complaint I had is that the only thing on my wrap was a pickle and chicken. I thought it would have some onions and lettuce on there or something! If you live in the area and are hungry for something simple this is definitely the place to go.
As a physician, I would recommend that you find another place to eat. My wife and I both had diarrhea after consuming the Gyro pizza. I would recommend that the owners improve the quality of the pizza, especially given its high price. Although the food was initially appealing, the intestinal after effects were not. Thank you.
It’s a small restaurant, just a few tables. Service is slow. One person in the kitchen cooking alone. First I though service is slow because of take out but I did not see take outs. The cashier lady was loud, and not familiar with menu. She said they don’t have Zarathustra bread, but it was in the fridge. They provide food in styrofoam take out boxes. Drinks were warm and we had to take it from the fridge ourselves. The cashier lady was trash talking previous customer for not cleaning the table and not tipping.the food was ok, nothing spectacular. They need to work much more on their customer service, food presentation, and their decor before they deserve more stars.

If you are visiting Orlando, I would highly recommend this restaurant. We were here for the day, and looking for a dinner spot. Saw this restaurant and said why not, and what a great choice.

Despite the friendly staff , the food quality is very bad. The pizza is literally frozen, the type you buy from the supermarket for $5, but yet I paid $25 for it! Gyro and showerma had no flavor at all and they seem to be defrost / not fresh. The prices are not even cheap for that terrible quality.
