A staff member named Siddi was very rude. she didn’t smile once, she abruptly walks away when you speak to her. I kindly asked her for a takeaway box, she said okay, then turned around and said you can come get it yourself over there. But it was very a very abrupt rude tone and facial expressions. Me and my brother and his fiancé were in disbelief. I asked for her name she shook her head no and so i asked her colleague. The manager should definitely look into this and you could even check cctv. it was between 7:45 pm to 8:20 pm. the food was nice though

Yauatcha City: A Dim Sum Experience That Falls Short

Yauatcha City, owned by the Hakkasan Group, has established itself as a popular dim sum destination in London. However, on my recent visit, the experience left me feeling a little underwhelmed.

Getting to Yauatcha City is easy via public transport. Numerous buses stop nearby, and the venue is a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. Be aware that there is no car parking available. Look for the distinctive blue door and take the elevator to the restaurant floor. They also boast a patisserie downstairs for those with a sweet tooth.

The first thing you might notice upon entering is the limited table space. While the restaurant itself isn't tiny, the tables are quite close together, making it tricky to navigate with a large group and multiple dishes. The decor is also rather plain – not bad, but certainly not opulent.

Thankfully, the service was a bright spot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. However, the food itself fell short of expectations, especially considering the price point. There are definitely better Asian restaurants offering similar fare for a more reasonable cost in the area.

Let's delve into the specifics:

Wagyu Beef Puff: This is one of Yauatcha's signature dishes, but the Wagyu filling was rather skimpy. The pastry itself was decent, with a nice crunch, but the star of the show was noticeably absent.

Spicy Soft Shell Crab: This dish lived up to its reputation as one of the menu's highlights. The crab was perfectly cooked with a satisfying spice level.

Pan-fried Lamb with Red Pepper and Onion: This felt like a less exciting version of the lamb dishes offered at other restaurants. It wasn't bad, but it lacked any special spark.

Salt and Pepper Lobster Tail, Mooli Cake: Disappointingly, the garlic flakes seemed to be the dominant flavor here, overshadowing the lobster itself. The batter lacked complexity, and the lobster meat portion wasn't particularly generous.

Hand Pulled Noodles: These were a bright spot! The in-house made noodles were springy and delicious, especially when dressed with the provided chili oil and soy sauce.

Overall, Yauatcha City is an average Asian restaurant. While the service is commendable and there are some decent dishes, the high price point paired with the underwhelming food leaves it feeling forgettable. There are better options out there for a truly memorable dim sum experience.

If you cannot to catch glimpse of sunshine this summer in London, just head to this amazing place. Their cheeky carrot cake will brighten your day and new summer collection of desserts not only cute but really tasty.

The place has a great atmosphere, food is plenty and amazing, we had the harmony set menu which in between the two of us was more then enough and we got to taste some of the best dishes. Our waiter Kevin was very knowledgeable and professional. I would really recommend trying out this experience.

Last minute dinner with friends and really wanted to try Yauatcha as had long been recommended. It was a hot sunny evening and the place was busy. It has quite a lot of background noise which I liked as you could chat and not feel you were being listened to. More of a "buzz" I would say. The food is very good. Crispy duck is not the best I've had (Min Jiang is the go to for that) but is good (shredded rather than my preferred sliced!). We all enjoyed the food and the environment. The staff were friendly and we didn't feel rushed even though it was a busy evening.

It was my first time at Feya cafe. What a lovely food!! Also the ambience was amazing. I enjoyed every minute of my visit there. The waitress Shruti was such a nice and friendly member. Also I want to especially thank her as I forgot my book at the cafe, she quickly came after me outside to give it back to me.

The place is like stepping into a pink garden fantacy. The waiter , Shruti, was absolutely amazing and pleasant. Her aura and vibes was so warm and welcoming. The food was so creative and it felt as of you were eating art. Highly recommend.

I treated myself to Freya after wanting to come for a while. Was not disappointed! I was kindly served by Esra (sincere apologies if I mispelt your name!) and had an Expresso Affogato and pancakes with mixed berries. Absolutely delish.

Beautiful atmosphere, attentive and respectful wait staff, food was stunning. My husband got an açaí bowl and it was so refreshing and full of fruit flavors. Their fruit tart was light and perfect for the warm day. Service was fast and thorough. Thank you!

Such a cute place and tasty food. Kaoutar was very helpful and quite impressive as she took our orders without a pen/notepad and remembered it all! Really enjoyed my caramel latte 👌🏾

Fantastic service, excellent food, lovely decor.

The lady taking our order (Romanian lady) was lovely and very welcoming. We came for my birthday on April 21st and were the super noisy table in the corner who definitely overstayed our welcome but we were faced with nothing but graciousness. I highly recommend this restaurant. The method used to split the bill made life so much easier too, I wish other places did it too.

Everything we ordered was amazing! Delicious and flavourful. Only thing that was slightly interesting was the fried squid as the oatmeal dusting was a bit much but just share it / have a few and it’s ok!

The food was lovely and service was fantastic. Staff lovely and do what they can to help and make you feel comfortable.

However, their website indicates that the restaurant is DISABLED friendly, and although there is easy access into the restaurant itself from the street, and toilets are on the same level as restaurant; for those that are wheelchair reliant, the toilets are NOT wheelchair friendly, as the doors into toilets are not wide enough, and the men's toilet is extremely tiny.
(I was made aware of this, before I went to the restaurant, but thought it important to mention).

The food was really good, but the kofte could have been more juicy. But that's okay. The lady who was servicing us, she was very nice and asked us if the food was OK. Will be back someday again.

The double chocolate cookie dough with soft vanilla cream is so nice from here. 10/10 dessert

I had visited the store with the intention to get a scoop of ice cream with a friend. I had tried a single sample of ice cream, and had heard one of the staff member go to the side and tell another staff member “don’t give those two any more samples” i’ve never heard any store say this near customers especially considering I had only had one sample. This experience made the rest of the trip uncomfortable, wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re looking to try samples

This place it’s horrible, small place, feels like you are in a sauna, no enough light, and the service it’s really really bad. No proper communication and rude, not helpful at all. I ordered cookie dough and told him if it’s possible to change the sauce that are going to be on the top, he nod his head and proceeds to tap on the screen ask me which one I want, I go sit down and when he brings me the cookie dough it just that THE COOKIE DOUGH, no icre creem no cream no anything just cookie dough, I go back to ask him and he is like well you are creating your own so you have to pay for it separately!! Like what?? Why did you not tell me when I asked in thr beginning if it was possible just to switch sauce? How am I going to eat cookie dough without any cream or ice cream? Honestly the worst cream I have ever beeen and I love creams I go a lot. Also we asked them for a cup of water and he was like I don’t have cups for water you have to buy a bottle of water if u want to drink, so I told him if he kindly use the slushy cup and get me water as my kids are thirsty. He does do it at the end with a very bad attitude and not happy that he has to get me free water, but when he got me the water it had a lot of bubbles on it , that didn’t dissolve for a good 2/3 minutes. So I guess he contaminated the water somehow not sure if he put soap or spit in it but something wasn’t right with the cup of water obviously we didn’t drink it. BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GO SOMEWHERE BETTER, I MEAN YOU ARE IN THE CENTRE, I AM SURE YU FIND BETTER PLACES WITH BETTER SERVICE AND BETTER WORKERS.

Outstanding food quality, the venison puffs have blown me away at least four times over the course of years on repeated visits. The food has remained consistent and I have never been disappointed by any of my visits here.

Very testy wonderful food .very warm welcome and serving from hamid he is the best .u will fill so happy in this restaurant. Just something u will never forget a d food experience I will not lay its the best I ever have me and my friends from UK Germany and Middle East. They all loved every small moment in this restaurant. We only went for dessert after having dinner elsewhere and we walked in as they had availability (usually need bookings though).
Desserts are more on the interesting and fancy side so I would not recommend if you are looking for a black coffee and slice of cake. I didn't really enjoy the desserts though but definitely an experience.

This is definitely a place for the Instagrammers ! It’s aesthetically pleasing and actually has good food. I am aware they do savoury food and I would like to try it but just had pasty and it was really good ! It’s small inside but so I got my things to take away and the to go bag was pretty but food was good would definitely recommend.

It was the first time for me to enjoy Turkey food, actually l like it! The food was good, background music was nice,the service was sweet,I actually hopping the own will share me the background music.if it’s ok,LOL(^○^) Will come again!

Tasty mixed grill and decent portions in a beautiful setting. Hamid is very friendly and was kind enough to give us one tea on the house. Will definitely return soon.

Lovely takeaway doughnuts. Vegetarian options for those who want those. Unique flavours. They are a bit on the pricey side especially if you want to buy a box.

This restaurant is truly a gem in Kilburn High Road. Beautifully decorated restaurant, amazing food at great value for money, but most of all the service is outstanding. The staff genuinely care about your experience and make you feel important and looked after. They made my son's 18th celebrations run smoothly and was a memorable event that all guests loved.

We ordered the most expensive set menu, starting with dim sum, followed by stir-fried dishes, and Beijing roast duck, and ended with desserts. Halfway through, we expected the dishes to be almost finished. Unexpectedly, four more substantial courses were served, enough for two meals for two people. Despite the generous portions, the overall taste was quite good.

Lovely waffle and icecream joint. As we came as a group, they were kind enough to reserve space for us in the upper section by combining tables. I haven't tried the icecream but the waffle was delecious.

Wow, I was totally blown away by this place! I've been living in Kilburn for 20 years but this was my first visit to Kish. Food was amazing, portions very big and service super friendly. Will definitely be back.

The mix grill for 2 which would have easily fed 3 adults. Fried aubergine was really flavoursome and meat very tender.

Like many others, it’s right across the street from our hotel, the Marriott.
There’s a lot of 5 ⭐️ reviews for the food, and I agree that the food is definitely 5 stars. I didn’t find it to be too expensive, but being from the USA, I’ve found most things to be cheaper in the UK.
I ordered the hummus with a basket of naan. There was A LOT of naan! Like 12 pieces! When I order naan in the US, I get 4 pieces. My husband ordered the chicken soup. It was very good. We both got a glass of wine. They are generous with their portions.
For dinner I ordered the chicken kabobs. My husband ordered the chicken and lamb kabobs. They came with saffron jasmine rice and a small salad. It’s a lot of rice! I couldn’t even eat half of it. Everything was very tasty.
The only issue we had was that after the meal we never saw the waiter again. He never came back. We were never offered water, another glass of wine, dessert, coffee, the check, a to-go box, NOTHING. Eventually I asked another waitress if we could please get the check. I saw her go over to our waiter who was by the front, point to us and tell him. Neither he, nor her, nor anyone else ever brought us the check?!? I don’t know what is going on with this place. I told my husband, “Maybe we will get his attention if we start to leave!” So we got up and went to the front. Still, nothing. So we had to ask the gentleman at the front if we could pay. He finally obliged us.
Honestly, if you’re going to purposefully ignore your customers for so long I would not be shocked if some people were to walk out on you. Not saying it’s ok but you don’t exactly act like getting paid is important to you. It seemed like a huge inconvenience for us to pay! We must’ve waited at least 20-25 minutes to pay the bill. For this reason alone I give service 3 stars. But before this everything seemed fine. Very strange.
Altogether our bill was £58 including their 12.5% gratuity.
I would recommend ordering to go so you don’t have to deal with the staff since others have also complained about the staff being rude.

Surprisingly good bagel, but different than what I expected (the bagels in USA are just different). I had the jerk chicken & cheese with hot ketchup & it was good. I would like to see it done on a grill instead of a microwave.

Authentic Persian food, very delicious and tasty, variety of dishes of the traditional Persian cuisine.
Loved everything from the freshly made salad to the delicious soups, in-house made bread (naan) to the fresh tender well maid dishes either chicken or meat.
The restaurant atmosphere is nice, with indoor and outdoor dining, welcoming staff.
I visited the place twice in this trip, they lost a star for the service in my second visit for the slow careless service; otherwise, the restaurant deserves 5 stars rating.

I really liked the place. Very interesting features that I have not seen anywhere else, for example a cool place for taking romantic selfies.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kish Restaurant, and despite the busy atmosphere, I was impressed with the overall experience. The staff went out of their way to find us a table, and their friendliness and helpfulness were much appreciated.

However, I would be remiss not to mention one aspect that fell short of expectations - the cleanliness of the bathroom. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite dirty during my visit. This was incongruent with the otherwise impressive standards at Kish Restaurant and could be a setback for those who value cleanliness in dining establishments.

Despite this minor setback, I highly recommend Kish Restaurant for its exceptional food and welcoming staff. The minor issue with the bathroom should not overshadow the overall experience, as it did not hinder our enjoyment of the delightful meal.

Just simply wow. The best Persian restaurant I have been to. I was in London on a day trip with my family and this restaurant came highly recommended.

They did not disappoint….quite simply the mixed grill and the Kaboodah kebab were the best I have ever tasted & the mint lemonade was amazing. Meal was finished with the most amazing tasting Kava (back tea).

This meal comfortably fed 3 adults and 3 children

I cannot recommend this place if you are looking for a fluffy and sweet donut 🍩.
As they are outside, you can find the dough very hard, especially if you pick them at the end of the day.
The choice is great, but they are overpriced (around 5£) and not as tasty as expected.
If you are looking for a kind of homemade brioche with original taste, that's your place.

I love crosstown donuts, across different locations it's always been consistent and it's only the service that's left a distaste. The lady working behind the counter shouldn't be in a customer faced role. Perhaps it wasn't her day I don't know if she's always like this but she couldn't deliver on basic mannerisms. Gosh it was like the roles were reversed and I was behind the counter giving her a nice service. 15 June 1300.

I ordered kebab , lamb, decent size serving, taste was not as great as Iranian Chilo Kebab has, plus they don't serve it with rice, inside they have some noisy atmosphere, outside setting was available though with lot of shisha smokers ( troublesome) for non smokers and having smoke allergy, was fair but not that great.. service was excellent, prices were reasonable,

I recently purchased chewy donuts from your establishment, and I was initially excited to indulge in this treat. Worth the journey from South London, purely based on the great value for money, amazing hospitality and top quality shisha. I really enjoyed the music too, learning some of the classic Persian pop songs.
Very unassuming from the outside however it is a tastefully designed hangout with humourous LED art.

If you’re looking for some doughnuts right outside of the underground station then it’s the perfect place to eat a doughnut but u need to pay by card. But otherwise it’s a very good place

We come here every time and get the same plates. We met Murad the manager, he is very sweet like a father to everyone there and he introduced us to new delicious flavours! The food is amazing and you SHOULD try the chicken here!

I always come here for shisha but their prices have raised recently. The shisha unfortunately burns very quickly and isn’t of great quality and the quality of food changes everyday.

There are times where the bread is cold and hard and there are times where the food is great.

If the shisha and the food were to be more up to standard then I would rate this place 5* as it has great potential and has a great vibe. The lounge has an indoor and outdoor area so customers can enjoy either or.

I hope management take the reviews into condensation as it’s a great local lounge however needs a few tweaks.

I don't usually come to this branch but amazing doughnuts and great coffee from Crosstown! The girl working there really helped me out last Thursday. I was having quite a bad day but she made my day. The strawberry cheesecake was amazing. Thank you 🍩🍓

Lovely experience! Nice staff and really good selection of sweets, they have also ice cream! The location it’s very cool and thers a second floor more private and comfortable. Was everything delicious, I will definitely come back

I only tasted the Halloween donut with pumpkin and pumpkin spice. It was tasty but it felt like more cake than a donut. The texture was very cakey:-)

I give up with this particular branch. They'll have doors open, lights on, staff in, but not taking orders. Today was the 3rd time in a month this has happened. The previous time, I entered the shop at 8.59, and the guy told me they weren't open, which is somewhat fair but any retail worker worth their salt would have racked up some sales there, the former most time, I walked in, there were donuts in the counters but the guy said he wasn't taking any orders and I asked why and he just shrugged and said sorry. Fitzrovia, Soho, Marylebone, none of the other places have been so problematic.

I suggest you at least ask your staff to keep doors locked if they are not open.

The fried chicken with mac n Cheese bagel was delicious and there's a wide range of sauces. The jerk chicken Bagel was tasty. There's a great choice of drinks and we enjoyed the slushies.

Service could be improved

A great dessert stand with a huge variety of vegan donuts and other pastries that are all so tempting and great looking.
I took the cinnamon roll and it was extremely soft like it's been baked that instant and so very delicious.

Amazing flavoured slushies to keep you cool on a really hot London day.

At £2.80 and £3.80, they are probably a better option than getting an ice cream or other item from the chiller.

Definitely recommended.

I consider myself a donut connoisseur ;) and was quite impressed. I wasn't sure if the quality would be lacking because of the number of locations, but I was not disappointed. The delectable food images on IG actually match the taste. Fresh tasting!! being number one in my book, which is surprisingly not the case for some others who advertise that word.

Visited for the first time today and the jerk chicken bagel was delicious - no surprise it’s their best seller! A wide variety on the menu, great prices and very friendly staff. I’ll be coming back soon to try the desserts - lots of nostalgic options including apple crumble and caramel tart. Thanks Da Bagel Spot!

Great new spot on Kingsland road! You can get a wide variety of bagel fillings, juice, bubble tea, desserts, slushies the lot! We bought two very delicious waffles on a stick with strawberries and chocolate sauce - very yummy!

It’s definitely a good place to grab something filling at any point of the day - next time I’m in there I’m planning to order the jerk bagel - which also comes in tofu!

Shisha was bad, no flavour whatsoever and the fact they charged extra £6 on top of the £25 for shisha hire makes me furious

There was a promotion at our offices and I tried the vanilla doughnut. Fantastic taste, not too overpowering with the sugar and really spongy doughnuts. I had to go back and try others so I got the cinnamon swirl and I was not disappointed at all.

Just found this place through Ritual App, I have been missing out 😔. Great donuts, I had lime and coconut (Vegan) it was lovely 👍🏾👍🏾. Will need to come back and sample more. 😁

This stall is a hidden gem!!! i tried a lot of famous donut shops in USA like donut plant and dough but these donuts beats them for sure! such an amazing unique flavors. i wish i can go back to London just so i can eat more of them.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. The donuts here are incredibly fresh, delicious, and not overly sweet. The flavors are creative, well balanced and so unique!! I tried the blueberry chocolate with yuzu filling, the single origins coffee and chocolate and the lemon thyme. If I lived in London, I'd eat these every single day. The staff are incredibly friendly and handle the donuts with great care to hygiene too!!

Excellent Kebab (kubideh), kashk bademjoon and Shisha.
We have tried their kubideh and kashk bademjoon. Their food is great and prices are reasonable. But they don't offer rice (Chelo). Their nan is crunchy and fresh.
They have huge variety of Shisha, fresh juice and cocktail.
