Das Mittelrhein-Museum ist ein kulturelles Highlight in Koblenz. Besonders schön sind die Landschaftsgemälde vom Rhein.

As an Aggie you just can't miss this museum! The open air plaza is wonderful during the summer and the winter months. Regardless of the cold or the rain no Aggie worth their salt would miss getting their own photograph with this Gig 'Em bronze statue :-)

I'm certain someone out there has a different story about that statue but as everyone with maroon blood knows, Aggie roots run deep and I'm certain my provenance is the correct one!

Nach dem Umzug aus dem „Alten Kaufhaus“ am Florinsmarkt versteckt sich das Mittelrheinmuseum seit 2013 im Forum Confluentes, dem Kulturbau der Stadt auf dem Zentralplatz.

Die umfangreiche Sammlung des Mittelrheinmuseums in Koblenz umfasst Kunstwerke, archäologische Funde und historische Objekte, die die Geschichte und Kultur des Mittelrheintals widerspiegeln.

I came out of curiosity because I’m a regular of Köln Ludwig Museum. The lady at the desk was very nice and welcoming. The place is ok, but the Museum is very small. You should go there if you are very fond of the artist in the temporary exhibition. The surroundings are lovely.

Good selection of 14-17 century paintings. Don't touch any walls! An alarm will go off! Trust me.

Came here on a Saturday morning and had the entire place to myself. Enjoyed looking at the art in peace and quiet. There's plenty to see, worth the entry fee in my opinion.

Immaculate art gallery on the first floor of Mittelrhein museum. Consists of mostly 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Century Artefacts and art. My favourites are the vast selection of Rhine and Moselle views especially the ones with Ehrenbreitstein castle in background. Also has a vast selection of family portraits of noble and historical figures. Very opulent and fascinating indeed. There’s a small replica of Kaiser Wilhelm 1 Denkmal inside too. The receptionist was kind enough to give me a student discount even tho I don’t have a student ID. They were soft spoken and cooperative. Also they explained about the museum really well. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Almost nothing to visit. Few interesting pieces, still the staff is not familiar to the collection... sitting or chatting. We cannot understand how this place could charge 7eur/p

Underwhelming, in fact disappointing. The grand exterior is the most impressive aspect. The collection is patchy and felt like a foundation show.

Not really interesting exhibition, and wired feeling of being followed by people working there :)

Beautiful, albeit quick museum. Was afraid when we showed up an hour before closing that we wouldn't have enough time, but it was plenty enjoyable during that time.

Excelent, lot of interactive/ creative things for kids

Staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, despite my difficulties with German.

Collection was amazing - especially the Middle Age and treasure room. So many beautifully maintained examples of incredible art. The locally-important section is icing on the cake.

Navigating the collection was easy and straightforward. It was very clean and nice. Quiet. The design of the museum was very simple and minimalist - each section is recognized by the color of the paint on the walls, which are just simple flat colors.
