Cute and Quaint, part of the Maryland Market SNAP Program, delicious produce and baked goods!

Fantastic assortment of fall vegetables in our share this week. Also got last persimmons of the season.

There is a great variety of vegetables, fruits, as well as wines. I also got great honey here. I plan on going back. It was clean and organized. I was very surprised.

Something for everyone. Bought fresh peaches, corn, cantaloupe and tomatoes. Stop for a chocolate croissant....fresh made. Jewelry is beautiful. Fresh meats. Plants.

You can't go wrong with all the choices and varieties of vendors who bring their best products. I always hit Cinnamommy. Got some collard greens from Walkersville and some spicy beets and Jam

Fresh veggies and always a nice walk in downtown Frederick.

We love these places where communities agree to support local farmers and vendors. Everyone was so friendly and the produce was very fresh. I love to see empty parking lots given to good uses. What a lovely find on a Sunday morning stop on our way home to PA.

The vendors vary each week but there's usually a good selection of fresh produce, fruit and baked goods as wells as crafts people. You might also find a wine vendor or distillery too.

Pretty flowers, cute pumpkins, fresh produce, local applesauce and cider, steaks and other meats, live music, baked goods, and more! This is a great weekly farmer's market.

Small Sunday popup market that is there every Sunday through November with great local farm produce, dairy, poultry, breads, flowers, and various other locally produced and grown items. Worth the visit.

I used to frequent the markets on Baughman's lane and then near the urgent care. In past years, the prices and quality were acceptable enough that I would shop there fairly frequently.
But I went to the Farmers Market on route 40 outside Gavigan's recently and the prices were insane. A dollar an ear for corn?? $7 for a tiny watermelon?? I left and went down the street to Weis, where I paid $2 for 8 ears of corn and $4.99 for a much much bigger watermelon.
There was only one vendor of produce. Isn't produce the main point of a FARMER's market? I don't go there to hear music or buy prepared foods or pottery or whatever. Maybe if there were other produce vendors, the prices would come down due to competition.
I want to support the local economy but people have to stop with these unrealistic prices. I know there are economies of scale, and I am perfectly happy to pay more at a farmers market than I do in the grocery store, but not four times more!

Fantastic working farm with crop shares, pastured chicken eggs, duck eggs, geese, goats, beef shares and one of the country's top English Shepherd breeders as well. You will not regret doing business with Sycamore Spring. Give Farmer Carol your business even just a few times and you'll likely become a faithful patron. Highly recommended.

Field Fresh Farmers Market is a Saturday market outside of downtown Frederick. Due to the pandemic, vendors are spread out far from each other and guests regulated so it doesn't get too crowded. My little family went around 11am on a Saturday in October and it wasn't crowded at all.
They have a variety of vendors selling produce, meats and other products like soaps. There's a vendor selling baked Amish goods. It's a true farmers market selling items rather than grab-and-go food. Keep that in mind if you expect to get breakfast here. There isn't a stand for that and no coffee truck/vendor.
Vendors take credit card.

More vendors than I expected and I like that it's across from the fairgrounds as this space seems to work better. Great selection of fresh fruit & veggies as well as meat and baked good. A couple of the local breweries/distilleries were also selling bottles of so.e.of their products. Multuple vendors were also selling fresh flowers.

There were about 6 vendors. Plenty of room for social distancing. There were Covid practices in place - no touching merch. Flowers, baked goods, fruits and veggies, personal care products and popcorn.

Small, quaint little market right next to Frederick Fudge and Ice Cream. I would expect to only see 2-3 vendors there as the space is very small. I'd recommend going early because the closer you'd go to 6pm the less variety. Overall, in a pinch I'd come to this market again, but if you're looking for a full-size market with all the bells and whistles like breads, eggs, dairy I'd attend the market by Wolf's or the Frederick fair grounds on the weekend.

It was great. The selection of foods was awesome, and nice plants for the garden. All the vendors, except one, had on masks and signs up for distancing. And almost everyone there to buy was masked up and respecting each other's space. Definitely will go back.

Farmer Carol is absolutely amazing in this crisis going on around the world. I feel safe and very fortunate knowing I can take care of my family as a Sycamore Springs Farm member. We can rely on her to provide us with fresh, clean, healthy food she sustainably farms where grocery stores are proving to be unsafe and unreliable during these unpredictable times. There was even an article going around that stores are going to have to start selling EXPIRED EGGS because they cant keep up with demand...No thanks!!! I'll keep getting my fresh food from the farm the way God intended.

Located in the parking lot of Wolfe's furniture on the golden mile. Limited vendors and short hours on Saturday only. Still, a decent selection of produce and goods from local farmers and artisans. OK prices but quality is extremely fresh and locally sourced. Arrive early since some items will sellout quickly.

I called many times to purchase an item from this farm and farmer Carol is polite but she is not able to honor her word as well as the time and day. She kept postponing and finally stopped answering me. I will not be doing any business with this farm.

The largest vendor there has vegetables that are out of this world!!!! Yes, prices are a little high, but you can't beat the freshness!!! The corn and tomatoes are outstanding!!! A must shop place on your list!!!

Was here Aug. 10. Just 2 farms selling produce. Neither were certified organic. I thought the prices were high, but I'm from Wisconsin, where there are a ton of farmers and lots of competition, so the prices are low. Goat cheese, a bakery, someone selling crafts. I bought locally produced nectarines and peaches. Tomatoes, sweet corn, cukes, peppers, etc. available. Lovely flower bouquets. A local meat vendor.

It's a good farmers market for companies conventionally grown produce, fresh bread. Products, local wines, artisan meats, etc. They don't have many organic stands, but the ones they do have, have excellent produce at amazing prices. Also, I love getting my herb plants there to pop right in my boxes.

We visited yesterday and signed up for the 8 week shared veggie program. We got squash, beets, kale, peas, beans, zucchini, garlic, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower and tomatoes all fresh picked. There were also pick your own blueberries and spices. As the summer progresses our vegetables and fruit will change depending on what is ripe for picking. Carol was very welcoming and gave us ideas on how to cook some of the vegetables. As a bonus, we held a baby kitten and saw baby ducks the first day out of their nest! The farm is awesome and my little boy is still talking about our visit.
I have an autoimmune disorder and the fact that Carol grows her gardens without pesticides or hormones will help in my recovery. The price is very reasonable and there are programs for beef, eggs and dairy as well. I think there are only a few spots available so if you are thinking about joining I would wait too long!

I try to go here as often as I can. There is a diverse mix of vendors, it's dog-friendly, always at least one brewery/distillery/winery there, and no shortage of good options.

Wondering farmers market at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Especially like Biser Farms cheese, Linganore wines, and Pearl's baked goods. Lots of variety. Several booths with plants. Tons of parking. Great place to stop on a Saturday.

Farmer Carol is awesome! This was the first year my husband and I purchased a farmshare and it has been a wonderful experience. Everything we get has been fresh and delicious. I love getting tips from Carol on how to prepare veggies we normally do not eat. Thank you for everything, Carol! You are wonderful :)

I ordered a bushel of canning tomatoes from Farmer Carol, she was extremely nice on the phone. When I arrived at the farm on the appointed day and time the farm was closed. I sat in my car at the gate and called from my phone, there was no answer and the mail box was full so I could not leave a message, I am new to the area and this was no welcome to the community.

Greatocal market with about 10 or so regular vendors. Cheeses, plants, meats, breweries, arts and crafts... parking is free. This is a great local resource for anyone in the region.

Farmers market was great. It was a beautiful day and the vendors were all very friendly. The baked goods stand is always one of my favorite stands to visit. There is lots of great produce at good prices. Lots of variety of freezer ready meat. Kettle Korn and pickles and dog treats and Cupcakes and booze too. Parking was a mess because of another event going on. Guy directing traffic was doing a terrible job.

I come here often and it's really great. The vendors don't switch out much, but they tend to have new things to offer and are great sources of local food. Dogs are allowed and a lot of vendors have water bowls for them, and everyone is very kind.

The produce is excellent and we are given generous portions. Love the extras such as homemade applesauce. Last year was our first time and we couldn't wait to sign up again this summer.
