This is my favourite spot for freshwater fishing.
Gorgeous lake washington and the view of Mt Rainier 🌋

You can catch Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass and variety of sun fishes.
There is a restroom within 2 minutes walk.

A nice dock, indeed! Great place to launch a kayak or paddle board.

WOW! This place is gorgeous! Sure there are tons of houses by this area that you can't afford, but you know what? It's free to come here! Much easier if you have a car of course, but if you walk all the way here, there are tons of staircases you can access --albeit still very steep. BUT once you make it here, it's a treasure trove to discover!

Bruce Lee fun fact: Bruce used to meditate here occasionally.

Amazing little spot with a lot to do.. I highly recommend checking out the oddities store. Ivers is on the opposite side and has delicious food! You could even have fun feeding the seagulls after eating there. Then you can relax with a 1-hour cruise of the harbor for about $38 a person which is reasonable. There's so much to do here you almost need a whole day to see everything. There's also tons of souvenir shops. And other places to eat as well. There was a great burger place opposite iver's That smelled amazing If I wasn't so full from eating that would have been excellent. That was also some street food vendors and vending carts in the area as well. Cute little place to pick up some souvenirs and have some fun with the family.

Somewhat difficult to get to the pier due to current street construction but it doesn’t distract from the gorgeous waterfront views. The Ferris wheel is the main attraction and I made it a priority to visit first. There’s plenty of shops and restaurants to explore to keep the interest of the most curious visitor or traveler.

Good food and fun.. seagulls are aggressive
No bathrooms, no fish cleaning stations. Dirty, frequently used by homeless people. The Indian's use the pilings as a base for their fishing nets, Rude of them to do that! They have the entire bay(Elliott), the whole Dumwamish-Green River to net! The bridge fishing people of Seattle only have this bridge to fish 🐟 from! I'd like to ✂️ their darn nets from the bridge pilings.

On a sunny day, you can watch Olympic range from here.
Good place to walk around but there is always some construction going on in this area.

Beautiful area, great for running or dog walking
This rating is for Kitsap Transit fast ferry, not Argosy Cruise.

Arrive earlier if you’re taking the Kitsap Fast Ferry on a bike as they have limited capacity for those.
Very nice, clean overlook area on the Duwamish waterway. This area ia adjacent to the road leading to dock areas and low bridge access to west Seattle. Really only accessible by foot bike or other electric conveyance.
Washington Blvd has many beaches and stops but this one is a little closer to the road with parking. Has ducks and geese. Nice place to walk together or alone.

Has bench and grass to sit on. You can see Mercer island and Bellevue downtown across the lake.
I just scouted this spot to see if there was any good fishing going on there. The salmon were running and there were tons of people lined up trying to snag them as they headed up River. There were also natives who were netting which probably didn't leave much fish for everybody else. Hopefully I'll find a better spot than that to go fishing. But it is really close and in town.
Fishing use to be great ? Now theres to many regulations and rules that noone can find a correct way to fish? Completely different from the past? A fella always gets a citation for something? Good luck ya all
This is a great place with great views. I only go when the SALMONS ARE NOT RUNNING into Duwamish because its packed with Angry, happy, drunk, AGGRESSIVE people. I say 90%+ illegally catch salmon by snagging. I wish something can be done to preserve this fishing area before it gets closed.

I wouldn't sit on any benches or touch anything unless I have to. Go when next salmon runs to see for yourself. I only describes .02%.

I really love the view from this place.  I make a point to visit here at least one time, each year

I was inspired to take the pictures posted with this review from observing sunrise from the Summer Solstice of 2021 - my most recent visit.

Looking forward to gathering for my annual tradition, soon
Summers near and the salmon runs will be coming around the corner. Its a great place to fish watch people fish and to meet people from all over the world and see the boats and watch the cyclist. there's covered shelters to sit back and keep you from the sun it's pretty neat.
