Nice course. Well maintained. Challenging layout & greens. Not a $70/round value.
We had our wedding here almost a month ago and we didn’t have the best experience.

Matt ( the event coordinator) is impossible to get a hold of by phone or email.
He accidentally quoted us an extra 1000$ because he put the wrong numbers. Thankfully we caught that mistake.

When we sent our final numbers along with the food choice, Matt overlooked the food choices and assumed that all our guests would want what me and my wife chose. This is incorrect. Everyone had different meals. Some of our guests didn’t get what they chose for appetizers and desserts. When it came the dessert we were told they only had caramel carrot cake but every single guest got apple cake which wasn’t even a dessert option when we were given the menu options.

We brought it up to him the day of the wedding and he said he would fix it and give us a small refund to compensates for the mistake and we agreed to it. I called him few days later and said he would send it and didn’t. I called three days later before going on my honeymoon. He promise to send it and still hasn’t.

It’s been almost month now and still nothing from him. I tried calling him again today but once again he’s impossible to reach by phone or email.
This is a course that was once good and could be good again. The tee boxes are terrible, the starter was grumpy, the guy in the proshop thought it was funny when he swore at my friend and then offered a feeble apology. The clubhouse/restaurant is so dated and musty. Lastly way overpriced, the only good thing about this place is it isn't far for me to drive, I am done there until they invest back into it.
Very disappointed in the condition of the facility given the amount charged in late October. The bunkers had not been groomed in some time and there were no rakes. Ball washers had been removed . Greens had been punched and putting was chancy. The leaves had not recently been blown off the playing areas. I know it’s the end of the season, but the clubhouse has a dirty, tired, rundown appearance. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Fall rates should be in effect.
Fun little course with some narrow chutes off the tee. Unfortunately the greens had been punched recently and it was like playing plinko out there. Really wish there had been some indication that they had aerated the greens/tee boxes when I booked online and/or when I called the pro shop the day prior to see what the rate was (the online booking engine didn’t specify a rate when I booked). I actually called them a few hours after my round about the fact that it would’ve been decent of them to let golfers know about the aerating. I spoke with William who could’ve cared less and seemed annoyed by my call…this really put me off this course and I’d be very surprised if I ever return for another round.

To put it in perspective, it was $55/round (their ‘aeration rate’ as per William) and the Marshes (which is a far superior course and blows this one out of the water) has an aeration rate of $50/round.

Although this course has some fun and quirky holes and might be in great condition during prime season I suggest taking your money and time to other courses in the Ottawa area if you can.

My first time playing this course since the change in layout.
They ruined it. 6 par 3s now, most of them just over 100 yards. The nice long par 5s are gone....While the course was in excellent shape as always, it is no longer worth the $78 taxes in green fee. Sorry.
We had our wedding reception here, and I’m so happy we did. The staff were all amazing on the night and Jamie did a wonderful job on the menu.
I would highly suggest this location for an event, even if you are not a member.

Played the course today for the first time since the redesign. While it is a par 70 the yardage at 5200 from the whites does not warrant a $100 price tag with cart. Sorry Stonebridge but this is a one and done for me after 4 years since the original design. 3 par threes of a 100 yards is very disappointing.
Gorgeous golf course, greens were moderately fast, rough we’re actual rough and hard to play out of. Fairways are like carpet immaculate as we’re the tee boxes. Well worth the price
Played the full 18 yesterday for the first time. Not a huge fan of the new layout - but I guess money talks so they needed to add more housing (houses along the 6th will either get a ton of balls in their backyards...or broken windows).
Re: GPS - I played the temp 9 last year on it's opening week. The Marshal said they'd have their GPS ready the following week. I played it ~3-4x the rest of that year and they kept saying the same thing each time. It's been a full year now - get the GPS going!!!
Course was in pristine condition, but $95 is pretty steep considering.
Average course. Poor drainage. I played here two days (yes, two days) after it had last rained and the course was still very wet and soggy. I could not see any adequate drainage system on any hole. Lots of casual water and mud still everywhere. It's an old style course design with most greens sloping back to front making some sidehill putts almost unfair. Green fee not worth $70 weekday. Should be $50-$60 max. Best holes are #9 and #18. Incorporating homes around the course many years ago has destroyed the original design and layout. Breakfast menu is good value for money.

Course is in superb condition, great Men’s League, friendly staff.
Although not of championship length, Stonebridge has everything for the average amateur. The course is in excellent condition. There is trouble left and trouble right on 11 of 18 holes (many water holes) and most holes are very visually appealing. The club has a vibrant and fun Men’s League with 80+ participating each week.

The course is decent, but it is quite overpriced for what it is. Par 70 track with slow greens, paid $95. It’d be a much higher review if I didn’t pay so much for mediocre quality.
Paid $346 for a twilight foursome. Get to the 10th hole and get approached by an employee who says “you can’t play 18 if you only pay for 9”. So unprofessional and strange for a high end course. If you’re going to accuse patrons of stealing from your course please do it in a kind manner or have your receipts ready. Horrendous.
We chose Cedarhill for our daughter’s wedding and we were thoroughly impressed! From start to end, Matt W. was absolutely terrific. Responsive, flexible, accommodating, and he gave us excellent guidance throughout. The buffet was universally praised by our guests, the hall looked amazing, and it comfortably fit our 100 person affair. The servers and staff on the day of were tremendous and accessible. We have a wonderful gem right in our own community and we were so pleased with the way everything turned out. Thank you Matt and Cedarhill!
Great golf course that is well maintained and open. The wildlife is an added bonus!

The facilities are a little older, but otherwise the atmosphere is great!
