It’s not a big course, but a lovely quick 9 or 18 holes with good grounds and nice views. Stay and have lunch at Extreme Eastery, the coconut lime margaritas are worth it.

4 groups waiting on the first tee (10th). Asked if we could start at 1 to help speed things up and guys weren't waiting 35mins past their scheduled tee time. Clubhouse said they didn't know who was playing 9 or 18 so we couldn't. That is literally the job of the club house and the Marshall but they refused and we waited 35mins past our scheduled tee time. Course was in great shape but absolutely horrible customer service. I have never had this experience on any course I have ever played (yes I have waited 10mins on a tee but that is generally tee 6 or 7 never 35mins late on an initial tee time) There is no reason for this, tee times are spaced and if staff was making sure guys were teeing off on time this wouldn't happen.

Nice overall course with very fast greens.

Went for 9 and dine today . Had a blast . No one behind us all 9 holes and we started at 3 pm ! Went to the restaurant with a $16 coupon from the 9 and dine and had wicked pizza !

Great day for golf. Both greens and fairways are in beautiful condition with good food in the clubhouse. Pro shop stocked with everything you need.

Not a good experience. First, the pro shop guy today (March 16) was talking to his wife on the phone for 15 minutes and ignored us trying to pay for our scheduled tee times. Then told us our tee time won’t work and wouldn’t let our third play. Offered no solutions and became very defensive pointing at his screen angrily. Phoned other golf course nearby and they were very accommodating and got in right away.

Always such a good experience, course is great but the customer service is even better. Best customer service in the nanaimo area, more of the clubs around here should aspire to be like you guys.

Really fun course that's well maintained. The greens are fast and really smooth. Not a very long course but it's a target golf course that you have to hit it to the correct spots. Would recommend to other for sure.

Beautiful little golf course. Only a par 61 but a nice layout and a good challenge.
Worth a game and has a beautiful patio for after round drink and bite to eat.

What a fun 9 hole track to play. The price was a little high for a 9 hole course. However! The condition of the course was fantastic. The pace of play wasn't what I expected (I played 18), but I enjoyed my day. Something I'll look to play again in the future as my sons interest grows in the game.

Well kept , fun but still challenging golf course . By far our favorite to play .. always enjoy it year around . One of the better winter courses as well . Views are incredible

4 Stars: This course is really enjoyable. Front "9" is out on the flats with lost-ball territory aplenty, but you can let it rip! I prefer the back 9 as it's classic west coast golf, with plenty of variety on sloping, hilly terrain. As an average golfer, I can still card numerous pars so I don't feel discouraged most rounds, and even if the game is weak the setting is wonderful.

3 Stars: Punitive cart rental fees for singles and pretty steep green fees, with late starts for a twilight rate that's not much of a bargain. The golf budget only goes so far yanno.

Compared to other neighbouring courses, Pheasant Glen is more expensive all-around. Still, it is a nice golf course.

Best greens I have ever played on, they are very fast I think around a stimp 12 or higher. Course is well maintained and the local members and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Pace of play was good and overall the course is a good challenge.

I will be back and highly recommend this Vancouver Island course.

We had an excellent relaxing meal in their gorgeous patio. Service was 'relaxed' as well (understaffed) but we weren't in a rush and just enjoyed the day. Helpful tip: there is a water cooler that you can refill your own water with.

The Curry was fabulous - perfect amount of spice for me (I like it on the warm/hot side, but not too spicy so that it burns your mouth), with a nice portion size, and great flavour.

My son's cod fish N chips was tasty and he liked the 'real fries' (with potato skin) - though even the 2 fillets were on the small side for his appetite.

The chairs were also very relaxing, and we enjoyed some fabulous Island weather.

The course is stunninginly beautiful & has a very unique & interesting layout. There are no condos, houses or other structures to ruin the experience. If you hit an errant shot you might lose your ball but won't break a window. Pace of play was good, tee times are every 7 minutes which I think could be changed to every 10 minutes, small back ups but I would definitely go back. Little to no shade so bring lots to drink. Pro shop staff were very helpful & very friendly.

Nice 9 hole course with a good bit of variety

Definitely my top course, always been a member here and for good reason. Championship course, outstanding practice facilities, amazing staff and the best owner ever. If you haven't played here you need to. One of the most challenging and fun courses you'll ever play.

Great course with sweeping ocean vistas and friendly deer. The course is kept in very good shape. Neil and Justin in the golf shop are the best! Excellent friendly service. Check out their excellent shoe selection with lots of great styles and colours.

although this course is only 9 holes it's still one the best courses on the island. Always in immaculate shape, this course demands accuracy of the tee and distance control.

Not just for golfing enthusiasts! I absolutely love coming here for lunch and enjoying the view - the food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. A beautifully maintained golf course and club house - and unlike others - not only members. The patio is welcoming and nestled behind a lovely garden - great for spectators or a lunch with a friend :) can’t wait to try more on the menu .
