I had the Turkey Reuben. It was scrumptious, full of flavor, well composed! I can see why a foodie had recommended this place.
The establishment carries a wise old character, evidently developed and refined over many years of service.
I definitely want to eat here again!

Great foods trucks, especially Los Tamales. Nice variety of different culinary traditions - Oaxacan, Cuban, Filipino, Afghani, Halal, Gyros, etc. It's clean, it has covered eating area. It is one of my favorites in the area! Parking can be a little challenging, but it's well worth it.
Amazing selection and diverse choices. The food cart workers are always sweet and chill. I love this place. I would not recommend sitting and eating at a table outside mainly because of all the sketchy people in the area. It seems as if every time I come here, there's always a weirdo bothering people.
Indian Hunger Point - Absolutely incredible! This Indian food cart in Portland is a hidden gem. The flavors are out of this world, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. A must-try for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine!

I cannot believe what I experienced during my recent visit to this place. I had frequented it a few times in the past for drinks, but this time my friends and I decided to treat ourselves to a meal to celebrate the end of the week. It was a Thursday evening, and after work, we were eager to unwind and enjoy some food. I opted for a beet and quinoa salad with shrimp and feta, while my friend ordered a shrimp cocktail. Little did we know, that decision would lead to a horrifying dining experience.

When our meals arrived, we were utterly appalled by the state of the shrimp. Instead of the normal sized shrimp (like 2 or 4 of them) that we expected, they served us these tiny, slimy canned shrimp that looked and smelled raw and rancid. It was revolting! I paid $15 for my salad with a $4.97 upcharge for the shrimp, and my friend spent $8 on his dish. But what we got was far from worth it.

I tried my best to salvage my meal by picking around the shrimp, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it for fear of getting sick. My friend couldn't even bear the smell of his dish, let alone eat it. It was a nightmare. How could they serve something so utterly repulsive?

I feel like they should have at least warned us that they don't use real shrimp. It's false advertising at its worst. The staff didn't bother to check on us or ask us how how meal was. I can't blame them entirely, but it's still unacceptable.

I've never felt compelled to leave a negative review before, but this experience left me no choice. I was beyond disappointed, and needless to say, we won't be returning anytime soon.

Drinks were good and affordable, so that's a plus I guess.
The food here is good and the variety is also good there is however a certain unreliability about as to whether there will be carts that you might want to try actually open.

DING DONG we have a 5 Star Champion! - This was a fantastic find. We ate three different sandwiches and they were all outstanding. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. Definitely the best Sandwich on this trip

The vibe of this spot is wonderful. 🌬🌲☂️
Walked in on an early cold & cloudy Saturday afternoon.
The woody rock 🎸 classic tavern vibes had me feeling at home. Had no problem knocking clean a whole turkey reuben and coke.
Could sit and digest before heading out, even when it got busy. Noticed almost everyone else had ordered reubens too. 🥪

*Worked at a restaurant in Florida for some years and folks loved our reubens, but they don't come close to these. ✅

It has been over a year since my last visit to the Goose Hollow Inn, and it's as good as it was before. I worked in the neighborhood for 30+ years, and this place served me many lunches and beers (after work).

It's good when the food tastes like you remember it too. I went with a Goose Hollow staple, a Ruben sandwich, and a side of their delicious ranch dressing to dip my carrots in. And you can't forget the house made potato salad which is very good too. I think I've had everything on the menu, and it's all good.

There are a few parking spots on site and a few visitor parking spots on the street where permits are required for the Goose Hollow neighborhood. Their deck is covered with heaters, which provides more seating.

Great job, Clark family!! I miss working next door to you.

Easily my favorite place to go for a drink! I've been dozens of times and every time service is cheery and prompt, music taste is 11/10, food items are FANTASTIC and the beer menu is literally one of the best in the nation. Can't go wrong at Novare Res.
Nice tucked away brewery in Portland. Very spacious inside. Had the famous Pumpkin Wheat Beer and it was pretty good. Definitely liked the Interior space if this brewery.
Fantastic spot for craft beer and smaller snacks. The beer choice skews pretty heavily in the Belgian style, but the selection is wide enough that there will be something for everyone.

I love shipyard pumpkin head, so I may be a bit biased with the review. The taproot was a really good time, though, and the shop had lots of beer and gifts to choose from. It's definitely a must stop if you're in Portland.
We like Shipyard’s pumpkin beer when we had it back in California so decided to go to the brewery to have it there. We were so excited to try it out. Just note that the initial smell can be overwhelming at first but it’s just bc it’s normal brewery smell. The beers were good and we enjoyed the pumpkin beer and the blueberry beer from Sea Dog Brewing the best. But those we’ve had back at home before. None of the new ones we tried were too memorable. Nice decorations of the place though and friendly bartenders.
Had fun here. Was with a friend that enjoys their pumpkin beer so we stopped to see what else they made. Kind of nice they paired up with Sea Dog so there was multiple beers to pick from. We got a couple flights and enjoyed it. Big portion of this place is the store too but there were plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the beer.

1 of the many places to get a beer in the area. All within walking distance. 🚶‍♀️
We went there on weekdays, last week of August, it was small crowd. Had two flights and all of them were amazing. Great food, had cheese pizza and pretzel nugget bites. Service was amazing. Their soft drinks were unique flavor and family loved them.
This is a really cool beer garden in downtown Portland. I was really impressed with their beer list, they have a lot of really eclectic beers from different areas and countries, most of which I had not seen before. My wife and I only ordered one beer but this seems like a great place to come and sample different types. We sat outside on the patio and it was a really nice and chill vibe. The outside patio is pretty big and seemed to have plenty of seating.
Shipyard is a really cool brewery to check out when in downtown Portland. They are of course most famous for their pumpkin beer, which they start serving on August 1. Their selection of beer is decent and they pair up with Seadog Brewing so they had 20 beer on tap when we visited. There are tables set up and there is a good amount of space with even a few tables set up outside too. They have food available too if you need a bite to eat.

My wife and I both ordered flights of beer which are 4 sample sized pours of your choice. We ordered a margarita pizza also. The pizza took less than 10 minutes to be made, but the chef put a balsamic glaze on it, which it was not supposed to come with (see the menu for the description). I unfortunately don't like balsamic so the chef was kind enough to make another one without it like the menu described. I honestly was not a fan of the pizza and wouldn't order it again. It tasted alright, but the mozzarella cheese was so thick and dense and wasn't particularly melted that it eventually made my wife and I feel a bit nauseous later. Don't get me wrong, we love cheese but we felt like we ended up eating like a 1.5 lb block of cheese. It just didn't sit the same way as other pizza does.

Cool place nice space nice vibe. As long as you don’t mind vaping fumes and pot smoke all over the place. There’s a smoking area in the e back but not enforced. Not complaining just not good for an ex smoker.
I’ve been here twice on weekend trips to Portland and had a great experience both times (2019 and 2023). The bottle selection is better than any other beer bar I’ve been to and the service is great. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often!

Very interesting layout. For it to be a Saturday afternoon only 50% of the carts were open for business. There also weren't that many patrons at the location (less than 20) which I found quite unusual. I spent my day food truck surfacing and this was the only location that wasn't full of people. It seemed a quite distance from others but the area seems to represent a mixture of cuisines. Maybe being close to the popular fast food restaurants doesn't help their business although pricing seems appropriate.
Outstanding beer selection! Variety of great tap lines covering many unique styles. And even more to explore in their great bottle collection! Very good food pairings too! Staff were very beer savvy and recommendations were spot on!
Not bad, I'd say it's worth stopping in at. Good variety of beers on tap including some one-off / experimental / seasonal stuff. I thought some were better than others but that's all personal preference - good to do a flight and find what ya like.

Overall vibe - kinda depends what you're looking for. It feels less "brewery-y" than other places I've been to, but I kinda like that there's a lot of room in their tasting area, they serve hot food, etc.

They claim to be the best Reuben and they do a pretty good job delivering. I'm not a huge fan of Reubens but I figured I better try it and it was pretty good. Potato salad that came with it was decent. Decent selection of drinks. Made for a really good lunch visit with friends out on the patio. I could tell there were a lot of regulars.
This is a great brewery in Portland Maine. We stopped in for a sampling & was not disappointed at all.

I had the Blood Orange Wheat Ale & it was fabulous. The bartender was kind enough to let me sample a few beers to figure which was best for a full pint.

They have a nice menu for some tasteful bites while you sip on your beer. There is a very worthy swag shop & carry out beer that rivals most liquor stores.

This is a must visit when in Portland Maine.

Really lively outdoor spot. Food selection can be a bit limited, but it rotates often and is always good. Awesome drink options too.

Best Reuben sandwich in town. Quaint dive-bar feel. Limited off-street parking. No oranges 🍊 for drinks so they won’t make you an old fashioned, even though the original old fashioned drink recipe didn’t call for an orange peel. Draft beer & low brow wine selection.

The BEST family dinning experience! We ate at the Luton Pinoy for Adobo Chicken and Pancit, Chicken Teriyaki, BBQ Chicken and Jumbo Lumpia; Esan Thai for Thai teas, Taste of Afghan for butter chicken, rice and garlic naan, and Bobablastic for Boba drinks and crispy spring rolls. Everything was just amazing, all prepared fresh and hot and thorough service. We will make this Cart Pot stop our family’s number and one place to go for dinner the next time we come to visit Oregon. Thank you very much for all your hard work and efforts to making delicious hot and quality food for a large family like ours very happy and satisfied. If you are hungry and looking for something Thai, Filipino, Afghani, Turkish, Caribbean, Cuban, Mexican or American. This is the spot! Enjoy an amazing meal, snack or beverage here at the Eastport Food Carts.

Best vibes in Portland. Come watch footy and make a friend. Dog friendly!!
Such a cool spot to grab a beer and some snacks. The beer list was massive, and of course our drinks came out quickly and ice cold. The real highlight for this spot though is the atmosphere and vibes. Whether it's the nice outdoor area or cozy interior, everyone was having a great time and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Hip hole-in-the-wall dive bar in the East End with an awesome outdoor back patio that is ideal for bringing your dog along. Plenty of personality, known as "The Zoo" for a reason! Local beer and a few small bites as well.
We unfortunately didn't try the food, but heard ot was great. The beer list was outstanding! Had several great beers! It was a cool place with a fun environment! We will definitely be back! A chill beer garden to enjoy with friends!

Super chill beer garden with house brews and guest taps. Great vibe and friendly staff.
Nothing short of perfection. Server was outstanding and he was the only one tending to a nicely packed house. The beer was unbelievable. If you want to taste things you never will have the opportunity to elsewhere, come here. I am knowledgeable about beer and was suprised about the aroma and appearance of a particularly obscure beer and aforementioned server took interest, and confirmed my beliefs that is was off and replaced it with another beer. We both agreed that each of us have only sent back 3 beers in our life. Hilarious. Charcuterie offerings were awesome. Nothing stale. Pretzel and mustard was so good. So glad I got to enjoy Novare Res with dear friends and can't wait to come back.

Ginja Ninja pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! We ate it too fast to take a picture, my apologies, but I highly recommend this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the Verde chicken pie…it was like a cross between enchiladas and pizza, so tasty and original. We also ate at the Cuban place, and the Afghan cart. Both were delicious, but I could eat the Cuban food every day.

There is outdoor seating. Nice array of drinks on the menu. Please, wear a mask at the bar. No games need be played for good service. There is space to room just past the bar. Tip your bartender. Also, dogs are welcomed.

This little bar has a great ambience, the outdoor space is ideal for a small venue. The bartender was on point with beer recommendations. My new fav spot in Portland.
