I love shows at this venue! There are ample bathrooms, bars, and space to enjoy artists. The disco ball is such a crowd-pleaser. Of course, the most important aspect, the acoustics, are amazing. I'm no audio technician, but every show I've seen her sounded and looked great.

What a great venue?! Probably the best sound system in Colorado coupled with an awesome lighting set up. It’s the perfect size, so there’s not a bad seat in the house. If you have an artist you’d like to see here, get tickets, you won’t be disappointed!
Had a great time!! The show was fantastic, Reckless Kelly played for almost 3 straight hours, and Steve Earle was the LEGEND that he is!!
The facility itself is good, but riser seats at the rear of the main floor have no backs. So the only real seating is on the balcony, but the seats are good, and the view is awesome 👌.
The line in was a exercise in confusion as security didn't show till the doors cracked, but that was about the glitch, and once you were inside food and drinks were easy to come by 😋.

A fun venue that is well set up. The air conditioning was pretty good at keeping the venue from getting too hot. There was no wait to use the bathroom before or after the show. Getting in and out of the venue was very easy. Will definitely come back to see another show.

One of my favorite venues in Denver, the staff does an incredible job making the experience easy. The layout of the venue is nice. The ABBA night was the best night out, probably ever! I hope they bring it back
Me and my husband came here once before and had a great time!! We bought tickets to the show tonight, but apparently it ended before 11. I understand it was a 16 plus, but a couple hour show still doesn't make sense. Would be nice for the full hours were posted, or maybe our money refunded.
Love this venue, easy parking and a few bars near by to pre game. The inside is amazing with both seating and standing areas. Sound was wonderful...so good I would recommend bringing them ear plugs.
cool venue. the GA area is roomy and they have bars all around. There are places in GA for people to sit or stand, depending on preference. The process to get in is a little weird, but I think that's just a process built by someone who isn't smart.

Awesome time and venue from start to finish. Security was nice and easy and everyone was so great. I loved the other people there too. We got to see Genix play and it was amazing! Thank you for a great time! I definitely want to come back again!

This place is amazing! The sound is top of the line. I can’t even believe how good the quality was. I was able to make it to the rail with NO issue. I saw Zeds Dead surprise b2b with Mersiv. The actual venue itself is so spacious. Plenty of room to move around as well. I will 100% see a show here again in the near future.
Love this place! Prices can be higher but every smooth jazz show is awesome! I moved away and I miss it.

The BlueBird has been a long standing jewel for Denvers music scene. Small intimate venue. Fairly priced drinks. Tough parking best to get there early to see if you can get in the lot across the street. Many streets on the north side need a parking permit and the tow trucks are out. Few surrounding places to eat or pre game. Friendly Staff. Highly recommend.

Just went here for the Iniko show on 2/22 Monday & the staff were EXCELLENT! Called the Box earlier to ask about ticketing & arrived an hour late but they still let us in :). Had an absolute BLAST at the show even on the top floor. The sound was great. Didn't drink @ this venue but I've seen the bartenders before they're great. I believe they hqve their own speciak beer here. The frowd was pretty responsive for a Denver Show & I interacted with several staff was a lovely night!
It was a great venue for a concert!! It was bigger inside than I initially expected. Mostly standing room, but there is quite a bit elevated seating in the back and around the sides above. There are cushions available as well so sitting on the hard concrete can be padded a bit. Parking was easy when purchased ahead of time. Will definitely be back for more concerts!!

One of my favorite concert venues in the Denver Metro area! Parking can be a bit tricky since you have to park in the nearby neighborhoods.
The inside is great. They have leveled standing sections so it’s easier to see if you’re short.

The space is small and intimate, which I enjoyed. I took my kiddo for his first concert, and we had a blast. I was not impressed with the guy who was running the food "stand." He was rude and dismissive. Maybe he was having a bad day. The coat check staff person was kind and bright. She even let my kiddo share a hanger with me instead of charging me for his little coat. PLEASE don't get her in trouble! I loved it here and look forward to other shows in the future.

Was forced to wait outside in below 30 degree temperatures for over 20 minutes at 11 at night and was told it was my responsibility despite being a small young woman who doesn't know the area. I've been to many different venues and have never felt anywhere near as unwelcome as I did here.

Great size for a venue and loved seeing Digable Planets here! Very personal connection to the stage and performers that you can't get elsewhere without paying through the nose for tickets.

Parking and the neighborhood are a little rough, but nobody gave us a hard time.
2/9 Ekoh Rollin in these Vans concert was hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to. Huge thanks to The Roxy for hosting us and letting the fans camp out and get to know each other while we waited outside all day. Glad we made the trip out to CO

Small venue, no seating on nights a mosh pit could happen, standing room only. Seen a great band called Code Flawed, get a chance, definitely check em out.

This is an awesome venue! Saw Afroman and the Orchestrator. Both phenomenal acts. It's small, two story, pretty intimate. The crowd was great for the show I went to see.
Best crowd and venue in Denver. Acoustics are unmatched anywhere in town. A jewel in Denver’s crown for sure.

Great venue right downtown just a block from coors field, so parking is very scarce(plan accordingly), staff is super friendly and the space itself has a good layout and it’s easy to find places to stand without being in the designated walkway. There’s also a pizza counter that you can buy slices from and the bar has a great selection of beers and liquor. All in all i think it’s one of the better General Admission venues in Denver. They could do with an update on there sound system and acoustics, the sound quality gets lost a little bit with all the background noise of a larger crowd.

One of my favorite venues in Denver! The venue is smaller so the floor is intimate, and the balcony with seating is a great alternate option. I wish there was a pizza window in every venue - one of my favorite aspects of seeing shows here.

Went Saturday night with my friend and saw Spencer Brown who was great. Meghan opened up the show. She did a good set to get the crowd moving. It was an all ages show, but you could still purchase alcohol if you had ID. Some seating was available on a first come first served basis, and you can upgrade your ticket for balcony seating. Cheese or pepperoni pizza is also available as well as Liquid Death water ($5), and sodas.

Went to (tried to go to) a DJ set. It seemed legit, was posted on artist website and everything. Waited outside the club until 9:15 (opening was supposed to be at 9- wouldn’t care about this at all, had the rest of the night not occurred). The listed start time everywhere I could find for the headliner was 9pm, but was told after entering that they won’t start until 12am. Despite this being much later than I planned on staying, I took it in stride and enjoyed some of the floor areas (there were three or four different places with different music and vibes, all with bars, which was pretty cool) and ordered some drinks. The DJ set ended up not even starting until 1am. It was the same DJ doing the set as was doing all of the music before as well, so I don’t know what the hour delay was for if they weren’t waiting on anyone (take this with a grain of salt, all I saw was an outside perspective of the situation). After the set started, only about five of the artist’s songs were played before the lights turned on around 1:50am during the most popular song. Overall a very disappointing night. I wish I had cut my losses and left sooner.

Decent venue for the area being a little smaller than others nearby. Depending on the type of show you're seeing can be nice or a little awkward. I went for a rock concert & the tiered flooring doesn't work that well for a mosh pit or crowd surfing, not impossible though.

Also, the show I went to I'd purchased a quick pass for early entry but staffed seemed surprised about it when I asked when I could go in. Was put in front of the line by one staff member then told the lines back there by another. Was eventually first one in at doors time with everyone else so wondered what the point of paying for the upgrade was.

Really enjoyed seeing Switchfoot here. The venue staff did a good job pre checking ID while we were in line so that when doors opened it was pretty easy getting inside. We were able to bring in a water bottle but had to empty the water before entering. Once inside there was a good place to fill it back up. We also had a few snacks in our backpack which they let us in with but suggested that we needed to limit it to just a bare minimum next time. There is really no seating in this venue so plan to be standing for quite a few hours. You are best off bringing only what you can carry on your body because there's not a lot of good place to put things down either. Great show, good staff. Positive experience!
Great music. As you can see, we were seated right up front.
Had a great time we were gifted the tickets. The service was really lacking and the staff wasn't too friendly. I overlooked it because of the musical performance. Jakiem Joyner was great.
All I ever do is dance. They find some magic reason to kick me out because someone in management doesn't like me, AFTER i paid my way in that is. PATHETIC, fed up with this dump.

Always enjoy a show here! Bartenders are quick and friendly, sound and lighting is solid, and theres a bunch of different angles to catch a view. Manager "Paz" is also super friendly and helpful! 😁
Seen quite a few shows here. Always have an amazing time. Staff is friendly and have nothing serious to report besides the bathrooms are very tiny. The downstairs women’s restroom door should open the other way it’s hard to get out of the bathroom because there is a line and it opens towards the bathroom and no one will move out of your way because there’s no where to move 😂 The video is of the bathroom upstairs, the first stall has a window that is a bit out of my comfort zone.

Went here to see Nothing But Thieves, and before coming, I checked the website and called about what camera is allowed. My camera checked the boxes and when I arrived they told me no, because it looked too professional. It's 2010, point and shoot, and I was looking forward to using it. I was very disappointed with that.

I suggest they are more explicit on the cameras they allow, including dimensions and examples. "We mean like 20 dollars point and shoots" is what the woman told me. In today's age, where can you get a 20 dollar point and shoot?

since mine checked the boxes. Point and shoot, the lens is not removable but they still didn't allow it.

Other than that hiccup, I had a great time. I loved the venue and the atmosphere. I will for sure see more concerts here.

This is a great venue to see a concert. We literally flew across the country to see The Wombats, and this was a great place to see them.

Security did a very good job of getting folks in and out. Overall, I really enjoyed seeing the show there.

It's walking distance from the Hampton Inn. We had a very nice walk to and from the venue. Since there is so much residential near it, people were still out, even on a Sunday Night.

There is a hotel near the venue, but it doesn't have a lobby and I wouldn't recommend staying there.

I had a great experience at Bar Standard, I did get there early just because I was in the area and tend to not be out really late. I got a Red Bull, nothing crazy but I did have a great time chatting with the bartender Mikey when he had time since I was hanging out around that area until I mingled around. He was a good time and had me laughing and was an overall good time before the crowd came in i mingled off.

I would like to point out the excellent service I had received from Mikey he was very customer oriented, he displayed great customer service skills, loved his fashion & personality. I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink & he whipped something up & now it's my favorite drink when I go into Milk Bar.

I love coming to bar standard and milk ! One of my top favorite spots in denver, I’m always welcomed with open arms and the bar staff is outstanding. Mikey has to be my go to bartender. They are always lively and spunky, attentive and wear the best outfits. I’ve lived in denver for a couple years now and I always want to head to bar standard when the girlies need a night out ! <3

Bar tender and staff was extremely rude. She poured out my drink that we paid for aggressively. She then lied and repoured me something bottom shelf different from what I bought. Talked to be very disrespectfully and then when a white gentleman stepped in because he saw the treatment she apologized to him but not me.

James Bay, September 2023. Charming, intimate venue with seating & tables upstairs & downstairs. Great view of the stage from multiple angles on 2nd floor balcony. Fully staffed bars on 1st & 2nd floors with multiple staircases. Good organization by event staff to check driver’s licenses prior entering venue to issue arm bracelets for those of & under drinking age. Local businesses open for parking less than one block from venue for $20. Only drawback was indigents across the street yelling loudly but event staff closely monitored safety of attendees.

Great venue! Saw Joy Aludakon here and was impressed with the venue. Getting in was well-organized and easy. Ample bathrooms. Sound quality is outstanding. I appreciated they had several alcoholic drink options. There are an extremely limited number of stools upstairs along the rail that are first-come, first-served.

Security guard straight up groped my girlfriend and told me, “there’s nothing you can do about this.”
Butch looking squat fat woman, head shaved on the sides, bun on top.

We went to see Less Than Jake, and they were great! Getting into the venue didn't take too long, and the staff was nice. There are definitely smaller venues, but it's been pretty crammed every time I've been there. The thing I dislike about this venue is the bathroom location. Way down by the stage makes no sense. I didn't need them, but saw people fighting their way through the crowd to get there all night
Amazing concert venue. Loved the intimate seating, especially on the 2nd level rail seating. Sound quality was awesome and atmosphere was amazing. Food options were good as well. Would definitely come back! Service was good, though it could have been a touch more frequent. Servers were kind and did their best not to disturb the performance.

Rating 4 stars instead of 5 for only one reason, and that is when you ask for water, they bring you a single use plastic water bottle and then charge you for it. I would love to have just a glass of water and not use any single-use plastics, in the name of sustainability. My beer was served in a glass, why couldn't they take one of those and fill it up from the tap?

Without that small annoyance, the Soiled Dove Underground is a great experience and a very unique concert venue that anyone interested should definitely visit!

It's a nice little venue. The only thing I had an issue with was the food prices. Sodas we're advertised at 5$, but when I got to the front she was charging 6$, only had 10$ and wanted 2. The vibe was chill and nobody really got crazy.

$15 sat. cover now for no headlining artist, I support this if the talent is getting the money but just sharing the info as some might find this pertinent.

Quite a bummer tbh. Been holding off on a neg. Review as it used to be one of our favorite places, but there’s too much competition these days to have overtly unfriendly staff, from bartenders to the obviously unstable roid rage security guy we saw treating a group of girls like he was called in as the swat team to handle a life or death situation.

We later asked them what happened and they said he was being abrasively rude and aggressive while they were just grabbing their belongings to clear out (mind you the dj was still playing, it was 120am; and we ourselves were still waiting for drinks to be served without issue or warning the rooms were being shut down??

So they want patrons drink money whilst simultaneously rudely ushering people out while the dj is literally still going *1:20 on a sat night*.

On our end, drinks have wandering prices from bartender to bartender and bar to bar ($18 well vodka+ corona, $15 or $13 Tito’s or Ketel one and basic mixers). Prices are whatever, good priced drinks used to be a benefit of coming here, and it just isn’t anymore and that’s okay. But I don’t enjoy feeling like I’m at a used car sales lot every time I need a refill when I’m out for a night.

A shame to see, but we won’t be back this time.
The Roxy is home to some of Denver's best up and coming performing artists and serves the city as the prime location for regional Hip Hop concerts. Great stage with premier line array sound!

This place is actually quite fun and I love that it connects to other clubs within the same building. Minus one star for the unfriendly bartender in the main area. Never had I experienced someone act so inconvenienced and give me so much attitude for trying to order a rum punch. She gave me a look as if I was speaking Klingon and said she didn't know what I'm talking about with a clearly vexed tone. Don't know her name but what I think needs to be said to her is: "if you're gonna have an attitude for no reason, in a job where you're supposed to be personable don't be a flipping BARTENDER." Still a nice club experience, just that one little thing.
This was a wonderful experience and a great time. The wait staff took really good care of us while we were there. The environment is first class in the experience for live music.

So glad this place survived the pandemic. Small and personal concert venue with friendly staff. Concerts are incredible. We go to every jazz concert we can. Bar food has bern upgraded as well as drinks and numbering on tables. Good food upstairs in the Tavern or around the corner at North County if you want to eat prior to concert .seating is tight but great way to meet new friends.
Great venue thoroughly enjoyed the show great service and fun place.
Surprised that a venue beneath a pub can feel quaint and modern at the same time. Intimate venue with state of the art acoustics and fun, well thought out placement of tables in tiered, cabaret style setting. Comfortable, engaging atmosphere and a real ability to enjoy the music presented. Our waiter seemed super confused and perhaps new at his job, but hey - maybe it was his first day. If you buy two tickets, you will be sharing your table with two others if they have been purchased. Food seemed sort of expensive and i ended up buying Pellegrino all night so I could get a constant supply of cool water. I had to repeatedly ask for ice and never got any so I went to the bar and was told they were out of glasses. I’m not sure what was going on that night but it didn’t affect the truly great time I had. They had an issue with lighting the show at the beginning and the manager or person on charge was totally on top of resolving the problem immediately. Go there to see legends, geniuses, up and comers as well as enjoy their lovely, intimate and fun environment. I’ll go back anytime!!

I had to give them another star. Over the past couple of years they've become my second favorite club. They book pretty good acts and it's a chill spot that actually has seating. Biggest downside (since they asked) is that it's always hot as the hubs of hell in there!
