Beautiful NH Legislative Office Building for hearings etc.
Original architecture is beautiful with photos of historic interest to NH.
Grateful to live in such a beautiful state where I am able to speak freely within hearings, other governmental meetings.

HYPOCRITE! Our current governor is looking to a bigger role in national government so he is busy sucking up to who ever he thinks can help him! Really shallow and disgusting! Very disappointed in you Chris Sununu - very disappointed! You've made a bad decision here.

I thought he was a principled representative. But it turns out -- his only principle is retaining power.

Filled with impressive historical artifacts, paintings, flags, and other memorabilia, this beautiful building is a place you definitely need to see if you are in the area!!

Nice stop on our way through. Walked around the facility and it was very pretty, shaded and flat ground. Area in front had several restaurants and store fronts fun to see.

Ignoring public opinions and safety example lights at route 93 /101 interchange even in daylight a dangerous area. How can anyone maneuver through road debris without these lights.

The New Hampshire State House stands as a historic emblem of civic pride. Its architectural grandeur exudes a sense of tradition and democracy. The golden dome is a beacon atop Concord, reflecting sunlight and historical significance. The interior is equally impressive, adorned with intricate woodwork and historical artifacts. Guided tours offer insightful glimpses into the state's legislative process and rich history. However, limited accessibility and parking pose challenges. The State House's role in shaping New Hampshire's governance is undeniable, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts and those curious about the democratic process.

You can visit the state house (and for free)! When the representatives and the senators are not in session, you can get a guided tour in the building. However, when they are in session, you can go watch the meetings, which, for me, is even nicer! Very welcoming environment.

The State House in Concord is one of the coolest State Houses I have seen. It is a living museum that is very well laid out to allow visitors and still function as an active government building. The grounds surrounding the building are beautiful and very well taken care of, and when you enter the building you are dropped into a lobby that is surrounded by flags used throughout many major U.S. military conflicts. They also have an incredible visitor center with a very helpful staff.

The ambassadors (Pat and Maureen) were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was given a tour by Mrs. Pat who was kind enough to do so because I am a volunteer at the MS State Capitol.
The MS State Capital is of higher quality and much bigger but capital does have recent renovations that are very nice.
The grounds are beautiful and I actually saw a couple on blanket having a picnic. They are renovating gift shop. I was able to purchase pins thanks to Mrs. Vanessa.
The history of building and individual portraits are very interesting. Definitely peaked my curiosity. They also have a hall of governors on 2nd floor. The painting on first floor of Battle of Gettysburg is very nice and has a unique history of how it ended up in state house. It peaked my desire to visit Gettysburg, PA.
What I truly love about New Hampshire is that they have a system of checks and balances for all branches of government. The old way of politics which worked much better for the people and deterred corruption.
The first floor has flags that were carried during military battles. Some are very old but it’s so interesting that they keep and maintain.
What I really enjoyed was having opportunity to go into chambers. It is allowed when legislators aren’t in session. This is not allowed in MS State Capital.
I highly recommend touring this state house as it will leave you wanted to know more about New Hampshire’s history and those who served in legislature.

I give two stars since there is no mask mandate but to not block it from the state and allow business’s to chose is silly to me. The second a mask is touched the cdc website says wash hands change mask do not touch mask when in use yet all locations who make you wear a mask allow for it to be continually pulled down to eat and drink compromising the user. So a Gient contradiction that the majority don’t want to have to deal with but are to afraid to be outspoken i believe 5 starts will hit once We no longer have to play the common cold game with this baloney virus…

A pretty state house building in a nice city! Didn't get to do inside tour, but just seeing the outside was neat! Very clean area and safe too!

My husband and I were just there! What a beautiful building. Structurally sound! Didn't go inside though, construction work going on.

The governor really screwed up the COVID-19 vaccine roll out for 50-64 year olds. Website crashed and no help available. One would think that after the nightmare for 65 and over folks that the site would have been fixed. Time for a new and competent governor.

As usual, non-existant service or help at the Governor's office. A gazillion departments and a gazillion paid workers who do nothing but keep transferring the call to another employee or department.... quite a racket the employees have going and quite a nightmare for the citizen unless you are a person below the poverty level or 'friend or family' (connected). But, I will give The Department of Revenue Administration relating (Dividend & Interest Tax ) an A++ the few times I have had to call that department.

Beautiful building outside. Inside is offices, not impressive.

Looks like a capitol building from the outside. Not big. Looks like an office building inside. I like that they didn't spend excessive amounts of tax money on this building. Nice Senate chamber, touted to be the oldest original one still in use. Lovely entry hall full of flags. They let you enter theoythe main entrance. Plenty of street parking available at $.50/hr. Friendly staff and nice gift shop.

I had been to the office a few times on certain issues that I wanted to take up with the Governor, or Chief of Staff, as a private citizen. At first I was notified I would have to hand in a written request, which I duly did, and I had a couple of follow up visits. I got nowhere.
They were constantly monitoring me while I was in the office, the manners of the entrance staff were borderline acceptable, and I even had surveillance on me once, outside the Capitol, as I was leaving. It is ... as if you have something negative to say, and do not have an important name, they treat you as an enemy or terrorist, or possibly one.
So yes, I agree with a fellow reviewer... Our governors may give a fine word about caring for the people and their concerns, but when they get into office, they generally do not want to hear from you. At least, I was hardly impressed with the attention I received. Indeed, it was nonexistent.

I heard a lot about promoting small business in NH, but what I've been told is public officials don't get involved. So big business for Texas can come into NH and steal from small businesses from NH, bankrupt them and there is nothing to be done. I think it is sad that the politicians in NH talk a big game about small business but will do nothing to help them. I have a signed written contract from Christopher Slover from Lakeview out of Texas and multiple other states who has just laughed and just decided not to pay me and there if nothing I can do about it. Very sad!!! that I am a tax payer here In NH and can get no help in this matter...
