The staff was very helpful in explaining the process. Everyone involved made sure I received the best option possible for my family. Also, huge shout out to Ben! He made sure I knew my options and also responded quickly with every step.

I worked in The caroline for three years. The management is horrible toxic The Manager, John DiPaola it’s a racist, a bully and he likes to harass his staff. Working in the Caroline it’s like working in the cotton field he trees the whole staff like slaves. working there is like being sentenced to life in prison. Everybody is scared to say something or speak out because of retaliation. And he trees the tenant like trash. And the second person in charge is an instigator. Daniel it’s a second person in charge he puts the staff to argue against each other, and then he sits back to see what happens. working there is like a bomb waiting to explode My advice avoid this place, like your life depend on it. I had to quit because it was affecting my mental health

the management company contacted me directly via phone and explained the lease breakdown which was very helpful. Throughout the application duration, I called them back when I was stuck on a few pages and they picked up the phone immediately every time and guided me through the steps. The application process was pretty straight forward and seamless.

I truly had the pleasure of working with Chris in Los Angeles! I cant speak highly enough about the incredible service and expertise he’s provided throughout the entire apartment renting process. Incredibly patient, taking the time to listen to our needs and preferences. Chris was always just a phone call or message away, ready to address any questions or concerns we had. Chris happily went above and beyond to make my apartment renting experience smooth and successful. Thank you, Chris!

I have been living in the city for about 7 years now and were looking to move to the Chelsea area. Ally in the leasing office was very kind and super knowledgeable, and made some thoughtful suggestions that I believe made the leasing office stand out vs. most others. Some unique aspects re the building: 1) Having previously been a hotel, this rental building boasts a hotel-like lobby space and hallway; 2) we were pleased with the spacious amenities (incl. a nice gym and work space) and decent closet spaces in the units, for a building so centrally located; 3) It's right next to Whole Foods and a couple blocks away from Trader Joes; and 4) the building has a private garage (separate monthly charge) which, for people with cars, are of great convenience and uniquely positions the building vs. other rentals in the area. All that is to say, thanks Ally!

Nicole was an excellent leasing agent! She called and checked up on me and made sure I was happy with my unit selection! She also offered me to come look at it and to make sure I was very happy with the place! The communication she had was beyond job level! she was so sweet! It was such a pleasure to work with her and I look forward to my unit 🙌🏼 . Can’t wait to see my new home!

Chris was an absolute Godsend. He really bent over backwards to get me everything I needed to feel good about signing my lease. Above and beyond would be an understatement. I've never had a comparable experience when moving into a unit. Constant clear and transparent communication. Really happy with my experience.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and honest with me during my short journey of finding a new home. “Short journey” because he made the process easy and painless! This has been one of the best, if not THE best, experiences I’ve had apartment hunting. I can’t thank Chris and REZI enough for their help and hard work. Thank you so much!

I have lived in some of the top condo in Manhattan but got tired of paying 5-7k for a 1 bedroom. I was thinking of finally moving out of the city, and after viewing this unique looking building for 4 years, I decided to stop in, and was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it was inside.

I see the prior complaints about maintenance and management, and it is laughable. There was a period of time where they upgraded the elevators and it was definitely an inconvenience as they had to be upgraded one by one. Maintenance is EXTREMELY responsive and management is perhaps too responsive if that is a thing.

The staff is great, the doormen are all polite and friendly and there is a secure package room. Finally, the leasing department is honest and transparent, which is highly unusual for NYC and much appreciated.
The entire approval process was such a breeze with the help of Kevin Hauver in the leasing office. Not only was he super available by phone/email, but he helped us through the entire process from showing the apartment to scheduling the move-in. This sort of service is not seen in most New York leasing offices. Highly Recommend all Rockrose buildings. This will be the second one I am living in!

Great place to live, centralized to many subway options, on top of Wholefoods and Bank of America. Building staffs are friendly and professional

Super on the morning shift REALLY impolite + treating other staff with anger and harassing people. So rude that I don’t feel comfortable not even entering that building anymore. Please do something about it before someone calls the police on him for harassment.

I’ve lived in 4 different plcs in nyc and this building has been the best, by far. Moved in during covid and stayed for 2 years. Wish I could stay more but rent did increase. The staff is lovely, really made me feel like home. The building and amenities are always clean. Maintenance requests always done so well and on time. You can tell the management really cares for their tenants. I recommend this place to everyone.

This is an awesome place to live. Great all around community. Would recommend this place to anyone.
I lived in 200 Water Street for 3 years and it was nothing short of an amazing experience. The facilities are great and the building staff is professional and responsive. Greg Brancato in the leasing office was extremely helpful and made my time living in the building exceptional. I highly recommend this building to anyone who is thinking about living there.
It’s not that bad
Had a really great experience living at 200 Water. Maintenance is super responsive, and the staff is wonderful. Zero complaints! Amazing rooftop and the apartments are much larger than any of the other buildings in the area. Definitely recommend!

Rezi gets it...helping real people make thier new home and dreams come true. Excellent spaces, and marketing. Fair Company...so far
I've lived at 200 Water Street for 13 years. The entire staff is one of the main reasons I've stayed so long. I haven't had many issues over the years, but when they do inevitably pop up, they're taken care of. The response time to maintenance requests is nearly immediate. Adrian, the resident manager, is on top of anything else that I might have questions or concerns about. The doormen are incredible. The amount of work that everyone did to keep the building clean and secure during Hurricane Sandy is something I'll never forget (I've lived here a long time).

The gym is perfect for a building this size. It's never too packed and has enough equipment for everything I need. The roof deck is gorgeous and has one of the best views of Manhattan. The lounge is a quiet place to get work done. The laundry room is big enough that I never have to wait for a machine.

I can't recommend this building highly enough.
My partner and I have lived here for over 2 years and honestly it’s great! There are lots of highlights including the view, the quality of the apartment but also the staff is really great. They address maintenance requests quickly, make the building feel safe, and are always friendly! I also love the energy of the building too. Lots of different types of people here too! Which makes for a great vibe. I do wish they would relax a bit about the rooftop, with allowing more guests or allowing residents to congregate in large groups but it’s a hot commodity so I understand they’re just trying to keep us safe.
I've lived in this building with my family for many years now. The staff is so kind and helpful, the building is always clean, the amenities are good, and the maintenance team is so responsive. The location of the building is perfect, right in front of the Seaport. Rooftop view is unbeatable. Very happy here.
Lived here 4 years and loved it. Apartment was amazing (on the 7th floor so I had a terrace). But, the staff was amazing. Doormen were super friendly, helpful, and just all around great people. I never really had any big issues but any time I needed something maintenance was super fast and responsive and helpful. Loved this spot.
I lived in this apartment building for 2 years with my 3 other roommates and had such a wonderful experience. The doorman were very nice and easy to talk to. The maintenance of the building is kept very clean. Whenever there was a maintenance issue in our apt someone would be there to help within the same day. Lastly, the amenities were all great, especially the rooftop.

I have been to over 15 buildings this week around Chelsea area to find an apartment and without a doubt The Chelsea exceeded all expectations. Not only is the building the most beautiful (and right next to Whole Foods), the units themselves are fitted with gorgeous appliances, the gym and roof terrace is epic - most of all though, the management team went relentlessly above and beyond to answer all my many questions and do everything they could to make me feel a part of their community. The Chelsea really stood out and by a mile.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIVING IN THIS GARBAGE BUILDING.

ABOUT ONE OF THE WORST APARTMENT BUILDINGS IN ALL OF NYC.

MANAGEMENT IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE.

I HAVE LIVED IN 5 APARTMENT BUILDINGS THROUGHOUT MANHATTAN AND THIS ONE IS BY FAR THE WORST.

GROSS GYM, DIRTY FLOORS, GROSS HALLWAYS, BROKEN ELEVATORS, UNRESPONSIVE MANAGEMENT.
So far It’ s been good living in this place , love the view and the safety in this building , nice apartment and maintenance is on point whenever it’s needed ! Medy help a lot too

This residential building is beautiful and could be great but unfortunately its terribly managed. The noise level is unbearable due to being on a busy street and there's multiple subway lines, not to mention all of the people screaming, bus station right in front and car engines revving, for the past 3 years I have had to use white noise to sleep. Also, the lifetime gym promotion is a joke, with a meager 10% discount, it still well over $200 per person per month. Management is also really sketchy and will reprice your lease to way over market rate, my lease renewal was 60% higher and even higher than apartments listed in StreetEasy. Finally, if there's a rule they could make to make your life more difficult, they will enforce it. If your friend is visiting with a dog, forget about it. If you friend wants to come over and have dinner in the roof, forget about it. If you want to change your dresser and bring it in, forget about it. Want to use the 22nd st entrance, forget about it. Avoid this place at all costs unless you are aware of the above and still think their rent prices are worth it.

Maintenance requests are taken care of in a very timely manner

My partner and I moved into The Chelsea together, and both love the place. When we broke up, neither of us wanted to leave the building. The leasing office quickly helped me find a different unit in the same building, and worked with us to replace our joint lease with two new ones. The entire Chelsea staff, from maintenance to the concierges who made sure I still got my packages after the move, made a painful process a lot more bearable. If you want to live in one of the nicest residential neighborhoods in Manhattan (Chelsea), definitely come into The Chelsea leasing office and ask to see a few units. Ask to work with Ally Schmitt if she's available; though honestly, you'll be in good hands with anyone who works here.

My girlfriend and I are looking for an apartment in NYC after relocating from LA for work. While we are both very excited for this new chapter in our lives, the NYC market has not treated us well and it has been almost impossible to find an apartment while working full time. The second we met with Ally for our tour of The Chelsea, she put us at ease and was so kind and patient as she walked us through our options. We love the building (especially the views from the terraces) and felt as though many of the floorplans could meet our needs. We look forward to continuing our search with Ally to hopefully find our next at The Chelsea

Toured the Chelsea with Giana this week. She showed me around the building and talked me through the leasing process. I’m from out of town so making sure I was able to view the space and feel at home was super important during my visit and Giana did just that. Thanks for putting up with all my questions! The building was beautiful and clean. Overall great experience here.

The Chelsea has been my home away from home for 2 years now. One thing that stood out to me about this building was how pet friendly both the staff and the building are. My fur baby Summer looooves going to visit Ally in the leasing office for a quick treat and a belly rub. The entire staff treats Summer like their own and it makes me so happy. Sometimes the Leasing office hosts events for the pets of the building and gives out Puppacino’s in the lobby and draws a raffle for free grooming sessions. It’s so cute and always done so well. I also really love that there is a self-serve dog grooming station in the building. It is so convenient to have in-between groomers appointments and especially on those rainy day when I don’t want to bring a soaking wet/muddy Summer directly into my apartment. I love how pet friendly The Chelsea is and I’m so happy I found a place that makes Summer and I feel so comfortable and at home.

Broken elevators and waiting 10 minutes for the elevator to come with a line that is so long that it leaves the building's front doors is what you have to look forward to if you live here. The saving grace of this building are the wonderful doormen.

I’ve just moved into The Chelsea. Ally in the Leasing Office made the entire process so smooth and seamless. I was very anxious about finding a place in the city as I am relocating from California, but Ally was kind, understanding and so attentive- fielding all of my crazy questions and concerns. I’ve only been in the building a couple of weeks but it already feels like home! I’m so excited I found this building with it’s incredibly helpful staff. It has made my cross country move so much easier.

Living at the Chelsea has been an amazing experience. We moved in September ‘21 and have loved our experience so far. It’s a great location which is close to the 1, F, and M where you can be anywhere in the city so easily. We also love walking our dog to Madison square park nearby or the west side highway. The building is kept incredibly clean and if you ever need help they always respond quickly. You are always greeted warmly at the front door, which has made us feel like home since day 1. special shout to George, Kenny and Thomas for that.

Very torn about this rating, so I want to be clear that everything about the amenities, staff, maintenance responsiveness, lobby design, doormen, sound/noise isolation, package delivery, etc. pretty much EVERYTHING is amazing about this building. I paid around $5K for a 700-ish sq ft one bedroom apartment, which is quite steep, but you get in-unit laundry and I loved the location - it is a 2 minute walk from the L/F/M and 1/2/3, so very convenient.

The reason why I am giving such a subpar rating is not because they tried to raise my rent at the height of the pandemic (lol) but primarily because of the constant/reoccurring pest infestations. Although they have an exterminator stop by every week and they really did try their best, I was told that because 101W15 is located on top of a subway stop, that all the rats/mice/cockroaches have a straight shot up to the building. For the years I lived there, I dealt with frequent visits from water bugs (which look like massive cockroaches and are terrifying. I won't attach any photos, you get the idea) and mice/rats. It got to the point where the exterminator was visiting my apartment regularly, I had all my pantry food (cereal, bananas, sealed granola bars, rice, etc.) either crammed in the fridge or stored in ziplock bags that were then put into tupperware containers, and I didn't dare put out any water for my dog and only gave him water with his meals. Even then, new waterbugs would consistently pop up and scurry around the apartment and the mice would chew through the tupperware and leave poop droppings everywhere. I do consider myself a very clean person (to the point of being a bit OCD), so this was a very challenging experience for me and I considered breaking lease many times.

I know that this was an experience that many of my fellow tenants had, but not everyone, so if you end up choosing this building, you either need to be comfortable with dealing with huge cockroaches + mice or have enough good luck where you end up in a unit that has fewer mice holes/cracks in the walls. For me, I just couldn't justify paying $5K to feel perpetually anxious/unsafe in my own space, and sadly had to move elsewhere.

Pricey but worth it. Among if not the best luxury rental building in Financial District in terms of facilities, amenities, conditions and residential staff.
While I do not live here, I do work in housing and understand how important quality/respectful staff can make on residents and their guest experiences. Fate required I seek immediate/urgent assistance from the doorman who referred me to the front desk staff yesterday. When I say the gentlemen were so kind, helpful and respectful-- I mean that to the point I had to look up the address and leave a review. Thank you both.
Amazing building. The whole staff is fantastic.
My boyfriend lives in this building, I love the staff, super clean, very homelike atmosphere! Love it! Would deff live here in the future! 🥰❤

Worst management ever I’m not talkin about the employees I’m talking about the manager John yes the staff do work and keep the place clean, I no I use to work there and he let me go due to an excuse people was complaining but never gave me details of why they was complaining about, I was there for at least 6 months and doin that time i could count more then my fingers of people getting fire or leavin the job due to poor management and yes the staff are afraid to speak up against him because they are afraid of getting fire but don’t get me wrong the job pays good but who would want to work in a toxic place with a manager like that.

I’ve lived at the Caroline for 5 months now and I never want to leave. The staff are amazing. The facilities are super clean and so nice. If you ever need something fixed they are quick to help. The location very convenient.
BEST rental building in the New York Financial District area.
Amenities include: Concierge, Gym, Lounge, Live-in Super Media Room
Swimming Pool and more... The wrap around roof deck has the best NYC views. Oasis in the city :) Best of all, the building staff is AMAZING!!!!
My wife went there to do her hair. Upon exiting she was harassed out of the neighborhood. Service is okay. Location is terrible. Find somewhere else safer.

I had a terrible experience with them. I totally wasted my time.. You should be careful if you are applying for this apartment. Please be careful. I still can't believe they didn't try to fix what was wrong with us and reposted the unit priced up.(They didn't help and ignored). PS. they won't respond you until you push them.

If you care about your safety, your belongings and your life DO NOT live here. This used to be a great building to live in but not anymore. On Halloween there were a bunch of apartments that were robbed due to guests of a resident who was having a huge party during COVID no less. Residents called down to the lobby and nobody answered to help. Management didn't even let us know until 3 or 4 days later when they sent out a 3 sentence email that said keep your doors locked. Then there was a fire the other day and the only reason people knew was because of the Citizen App. Residents including myself tried to get downstairs but the elevators weren't working due to the fire. We called and called the Lobby and once again there was no answer. Aren't residents supposed to be alerted if there is a fire in the building? No alarm went off nothing. And yes there was an actual fire! There is no security in the building. There are hoards of people walking in and out of the building all day long and they are rarely stopped by the doormen which isn't necessarily their fault due to the high volume of people coming in and out and not enough staff. With so pandemic pricing and so many buildings to choose from you'd think management would do more to make their residents feel secure but they don't care. 2 Gold Residents collectively reached out to management with all of our grievances and nobody ever responded. They could care less. They are putting money into making the building nicer but not into security. Basically don't judge a book by it's cover. The building may look nice but what's going on inside isn't nice at all. It's a terrible feeling not to feel safe in your own home.
The Westminster is a luxury building with a helpful staff right in the heart of Chelsea. Location could not be better in walking distance to everything that Chelsea and the West Village have to offer. Proximity to the waterfront and major subways is helpful for commuting. The apartments are clean and well outfitted with good appliances. We're enjoying our time as residents of the building.

The worst building I had experience living in! Main reason STAFF. The most incompetent and rude. I’m ashamed to bring guests in my house because of them. Sometimes they smoke RIGHT IN FRONT ( I do not discriminate and I’m extremely understanding person but really, can you walk away with your cigarette from me at least) of the entrance. Maybe few guys only out of many are actually doing their jobs but it doesn't change the situation overall . Forget about getting your stuff fixed as well. Management wont be helpful as well. PLEASE do not move in in here.

2 Gold is the perfect starter building in new york. If you have a higher budget there are better buildings in the area that are newer, cleaner, and all around nicer (see 19 Dutch). 2 Gold is a really solid building if you have a more modest budget, are seeking comfort, a great location in FiDi and don’t really care about or use amenities. This massive apartment complex is composed of two towers (about 50 stories each) and is mostly populated by recent college grads and young professionals. The building staff is exceptional and responsive. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, the leasing office staff responds quickly to issues and questions if you have any, and the maintenance crew is reliable to resolve any work orders placed over the portal. The building has decent amenities which were considered luxury in the early 2000’s. Common areas have an old/outdated feel to them because of their old carpets (which they are currently updating), outdated furnishings (which they are also slowly updating), a pool table that is falling apart, and a very outdated gym that is extremely small and crowded considering the number of residents that live in both towers and use it. The indoor pool does not look as nice as it sounds, there is no hot tub, no sauna, no steam room and to my knowledge no changing or locker rooms/showers. The other amenities include a laundry room (one per tower) which functions with the Hercules pre-paid cards/app and has only 4 large load washer and drier combos. The rest of the machines-are regular sizes which means you will have to run multiple machines simultaneously to get a large load of laundry done. There is a dry cleaner service inside the building. The building has a rooftop which is overflowing with crowds during summer months and does not have nearly enough seating options to accommodate its residents. Common indoor roof areas (solarium) which students tend to use to study, have been recently renovated with modern and more comfortable furniture as well and new carpeting and wallpapers that matches the renovations on the hallways in all floors. The lobby area has a mail room and front desk runs on a electronic package system. There is no amazon locker or self-serve mail pickup, nor are there fridges to keep online groceries fresh upon delivery. Moving into the building is a pain given the lack of alleyways to load/unload. Throughout peak months, the lobby and main entrance to the building is blocked by moving trucks and movers making the front door situation chaotic. There is only 1 service elevator which makes it even harder to coordinate moves. The elevators TAKE VERY LONG. Add 5-8 minutes to your commute to wait for the elevator in the mornings and evenings. The apartments are comfortable and feel spacious and most have balconies which is a plus. Living room windows are floor to ceiling, room windows are not. Light is good on the west-facing tower if you are higher than floor 30, some apartments on higher floors get glimpses of the river, the Penthouse units have double height ceilings and thus get great light. East tower faces directly into another building and light is poor throughout the day. The bathrooms are small but functional with built in cabinets for products, hidden mirror cabinets, tub/shower combo with glass doors and single faucet vanity. The kitchens are functional but small with very limited counter space. Microwave fans instead of hood vents which makes entire unit smoke easily when cooking. Sufficient kitchen cabinets for normal people, tight storage if you are a more serious home cook. Closet space is standard, no walking closets, no linen closet. AC and Heat units are standard and can be very loud. Note that this is not central air but rather large custom installed units. Not all units are allowed to flex, and those that are have height limits on flex walls. Unit walls are extremely thin, you will hear your upstairs and side neighbors often. Overall good experience at 2Gold keeping in mind I was only living here fri-sun.

Don't listen to the bad reviews of people who just like to do such things, I had to move there with my family for a 6 months renovation in my other place, great staff. great apartments, and greast happy vibrant building. John the building manager is terrific person and always helping, and the porters and doormen are equally helpful. Place is always clean, and always was a pleasure to come back there in the evening after work. I strongly recommend it.
101 West 15th street is so far the best living experience I've had in the city! The location is perfect and the building is amazing. Everyone in the building makes it a great experience and living here comes with so many perks. I love it here!
Great building and management staff. Any maintenance issues are addressed within a day or two (David and Ron are great). Building is clean. Common area is comfortable and never crowded. Neighbors are pretty quiet and respectful, in fact, I have no idea who my neighbors are, I almost never see anyone on my floor. Apartments are also sound proof as outside noise is reduced.
Anya, their assistant property manager, is amazing. I went away for a few days and was not sure if I left enough water for my cat, so I asked Anya to check up on it, which she did, and my trip was worry free. I’d recommend this building to anyone.
Moving day can be stressful, but Stonehenge made it easy and comfortable. The staff was helpful, knew us by name right away, and helped with some small repairs in the apartment to make it perfect for us. Love living here so far!

Do not rent apartments here, management and reception/concierge staff are bad, staff does not know how to greet/talk to the residents. Worst experience ever, having lived at other apartments by Related, this is the worst by any standard.

BEWARE OF THIS BUILDING - The elevators have consistently been broken for months, I have had to use the stairs on numberous occasions and I live on the 30th floor, when I haven’t had to use the stairs there is a twenty minute wait for the elevators as only one of the three is usually working. The management is a mess and completely unhelpful. You submit complaints or repair requests that never get fulfilled. I would avoid living here at all costs.
I did a photo shoot in this building and it looks amazing. Very quite, even though, when you step outside, you are in the heart of the city. Also, the bottom floor is huge and looks like a great place to come to work, read or relax. Staff was very friendly when I was there. Overall looks like a great place to live in the city.

2 Gold Street is the hidden gem of FiDi. The door staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and make us feel safe. The apartments are spacious with newer kitchens and appliances and plenty of cabinet space. The amenities are above and beyond with a 15 yrd (unconfirmed) indoor pool, spacious gym, dual pool tables, lounge, child play room, dual laundry rooms and outstanding rooftop garden. The amenities are rarely crowded and often make living in the city feel relaxing.

Would not recommend living here - the management company lures tenants in with a teaser rent for the first year then jacks it up after the year concludes without providing any reasoning (happened to me and and a friend living in the building as well). They also don't allow flex walls to go to the ceiling and force you to use their own provider which has a wall design that wastes space. The staff are by far the most redeeming quality of the building and are incredibly user friendly. The amenities are subpar, with a tiny gym lacking basic equipment (but it s free), and a "roof deck" but on the fifth floor facing the Lincoln Tunnel. Apartments have stainless steel appliances but in terms of design everything is entry-level. Adequate if you're looking for a deal for one year to live in the city close to Times Sq but not incredibly noisy.

While apartment hunting I was impressed with most of the TFC building and I am happy that I I ended up renting one of their best building !
Nice apartment complex with grand entrance, 24/7 doorman, a nice gym and a huge court yard. Very clean and a brand new feel. Not sure if the bbq is allowed there, but I visited the courtyard for a picnic and thought it was a very nice and quiet space, away from the busy traffic. You can, however, bring your own music and there - there's even room for a band!
