STAY AWAY!
I stayed here for a year and it's the worst neighborhood I have ever lived at.
1. The leasing office and maintenance team are fine, but don't expect too much, you get what you paid for. Btw, be prepared for 150$/m for water, sewer and garbage for such a place :)
2. You neighbors don't respect each other. They would talk loudly at the parking lot till mid night, and their kids are screaming and playing at there like it's a park :)
3. You hear every step from upstairs, left and right. If you are lucky enough, you will hear your neighbors party to 3am EVERY WEEKEND, even you called the community patrol or the police, No, they just don't stop :)

Poor sound insulation, noise policies not enforced. Egregious lease renewal process.
Neighbor plays loud music throughout the day, including during lease defined quiet hours, complained multiple times and nothing has been done about it.
In lease they mention month-by-month option after lease ends (do not mention a fee though). Come to find out 2 days before lease renewal deadline the month-by-month fee is $1,600 ($2,400 base rent), at previous DT Bellevue apartment the month-by-month fee was $250 (in 2019 mind you).
The rest of it is good.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the maintenance team, especially the technician Wlodek. They always respond promptly to any issues in the apartment and provide professional services to resolve them. I have had a great experience with the maintenance team.

AMLI Spring District was my home for two years, and I have nothing but good things to say.
The amenities are many and well-kept. The apartments are spacious and modern. The staff is amazing.
Special shout out to Derek, Naomi, Pablo and Russ. They were always quick and caring with anything we needed.
If you are looking for a place, and you have the budget, AMLI Spring District is the way to go :)

When it comes to maintenance repairs and the apartments themselves, it’s fast and efficient. The apartments are older, but acceptable and spacious. Rent is reasonable and the location is quiet and near Downtown Bellevue and Factoria which is great.
However, the biggest problem with this apartment complex is the parking and security.
There have been multiple break-ins at this apartment complex. Mainly because it’s located right off the express way, which makes it easy for thieves to just break in, steal, and drive away.
My vehicle has been broken into before as well as some of my neighbors. The police have been to this complex many times, but can’t seem to solve the issue.
I personally believe you need more lighting, especially at the back end of the parking lot. Some type of camera security system is also a necessity. You cannot allow this amount of crime to happen freely here. These are your residents who deserve a safe and crime free environment for what they’re paying.
Parking in general can be a big hassle. At the end of a work day there will be very little spots left, so you are forced to park out front on the side of the main road where your vehicle is not safe at night. It could easily get broken into or stolen.
I believe the parking issue stems from multiple vehicles that are unregistered with the apartment complex taking up spaces. I see a lot of out of state vehicles and vehicles that stay in the same spots for multiple weeks in a row. On top of that there should probably be a vehicle limit of 2 when leasing an apartment here. The complex simply cannot house as many vehicles as you see come through here.
Aside from these two issues of parking and security, it’s a good place to live. The maintenance team is very friendly, fast, and efficient at solving maintenance requests. The office is good at handling problems when you call them. The rent is reasonable. The units and clean, spacious, and offer everything you would need for a comfortable living situation. The pool is nice and the workout room is decent. You have a huge field and trail across the street to take your dogs to. It’s very close to Factoria and Downtown Bellevue as well. The express way is right there too.

Avoid this place. We used to live here, and the bills here are crazy. They split bills from the whole complex. So if you have 2 people in the family, you will still pay $200-300 for two people. It's insane. I remember trash service and waste water was about $150 a month. So if someone drains water all the time, you will pay for that.

Fantastic location. 2 pools and a gym. Leasing office communication can be a bit stressful, but Jessica Rutkovskaya in the leasing office is quick to find answers, professional in demeanor and courteous.

I been living here for 4 years and the maintaince team member Attila & Jacquob here at Avalon is fantastic. Always ready to resolve any issues I have. Attila even stayed after hours to fix my A/C during the summer times, knowing I'll need it!

Great apartments, well maintained lawn for kids to play. Maintenance requests are handled promptly - Wlodek and Soroush are great at resolving any issues! Leasing office could be improve at retaining tenants - I know people who would have liked to stay but didn’t due to high renewal cost and uninterested leasing staff.

Making the decision to choose Avalon Towers Bellevue was made easy from Day 1 since the contact with Ana. From explaining tons of my queries to helping me with the whole leasing process, I must say the whole experience is exceptional. No regrets since the day I made the decision to move in, Ana and the team here make sure any issue face are resolved super quick.
Definitely highly recommend people to consider the apartment! More than just the service and support, the location is pretty awesome with all the necessary amenities nearby

This apartment management. is NOT ethical in their practices my father sent a check on behalf of my mother. my father and mother are divorced, and my father lives out of state he mailed a check to pay for her rent I brought it to the rental office in September. the check that they said they had not received was deposited in November, they claimed that they could not find the check a month later they deposited it. after my father issued a new check.

Aimee and Derek both were very professional in setting up the tour and virtually showing the place with detailed information . Thank you for taking care of my inquiry and excellent customer service.

The apartment completes the service request on urgent basis. They completed all my service request within a day. The lawns are big, swimming pool are good etc. Everything is good in this apartment. The only problem I have is the floor. When my neighbour walk in their room, I can hear them walking. May be this is USA problem. But it bothers me little bit. I am planning to live in this apartment for 1 year.

Definitely one of the best places, if not the best place, to live in Bellevue. Top-tier amenities like A/C and basically endless hot water. The package room means your packages will be safe, compared to most places in Bellevue that use Fetch and lose packages. It’s AMLI so you know you will get fair charges at move-out, unlike a lot of other property management companies in Bellevue. There’s no construction sound, very quiet area but walkable to restaurants and downtown. Great quality of life like a top-notch cleaning crew, recycling chute on every floor, beautiful landscaping, etc. You shouldn’t hear your neighbors unless they are really loud or stomp on the floor. If you can afford it, definitely recommend since you aren’t going to find a better place in the Bellevue area.

Eric at the front desk was very helpful during a chaotic and stressful time. I am grateful for his kindness! The maintenance team has also been responsive and helpful.

Jim the maintence man came by and changed our locks and was very professional and fast. Thanks Jim!

Convenient living with everything nearby.
Excellent service that's consistent even during move-out. Eric from front desk has been exceptionally supportive.
Maintenance team is prompt.
Great for anyone new to the US or seeking convenience.
The Heads Up: Some noise from downtown construction, mainly at night.
Avalon provides a comfortable and hassle-free living experience, perfect for newcomers to the US. Consider it if convenience and quality are your priorities!

I’ve lived here for 3 years. I’ll list some issues I’ve had…
You can hear everything your neighbors do, there is nothing in place to reduce noise between units. Zero security, my truck was stolen on the property. Our rent has increased by almost $300 just this year alone with no explanation as to why, and there also haven’t been any improvements to our unit or the complex in general. Our dryer hasn’t been functioning properly for MONTHS and they still haven’t replaced it or actually fixed the problem.
They continuously tack on extra charges, wr have to play close attention when paying monthly bills because of this.
When they’ve added extra charges that we did not actually owe in the past , certain members of management such as Helen have tried to force us into paying charges we did not actually owe.
Just really unhappy with this place. I could never recommend it to anyone.

I have had a pleasant experience living at Emerald Ridge. Because the office staff is remote, it can be a little tricky to get someone on the phone, but they always return the call. When the rare issue has arisen, the staff has done everything they can to remedy the situation and/or explain what was going on.
Yes, the buildings are not new and are not well padded for noise. You will occasionally hear your neighbors, but nothing beyond what you would expect living in an older apartment building. Recently, I had an emergency maintenance situation and Kaya went above and beyond to make sure maintenance stopped by immediately. The maintenance team, particularly Luis, is very friendly and doesn't cut corners when making repairs.
The main downside is the traffic on 118th in the early evening and near the 405 junction. Other than that, Emerald Ridge is a great place to live.

My friend who used to live at Tukwila apartment managed by
the Security Properties Residential, so he recommended me to look for their apartments. The perk is they cover sewer, garbage and water, and the price of the unit and parking fee is reasonable.
I applied the unit online before checking the unit because I didn't want to lose the spot. It's good location and close by freeway I-90. Unfortunately, I didn't end up leasing the apartment due to sudden job relocation.
However, I have to shoutout and give leasing consultant Veronica and property manager Shelleen recognition of their outstanding customer service and business integrity. I saw an open unit on the website and was interested to check out the place and made the appointment with Veronica. During the phone conversation with her, I asked a lot of questions. Veronica patiently answered all of them with professionalism and courtesy. At that time because the unit was still occupied with tenant, Veronica wasn't able to show me the unit until tenant moved out. When I visited the leasing office, Veronica and property Manager Shellen were friendly and welcoming me unlike few apartment staffs I met in the past that were unenthusiastic and impatience and wasn't given me clear answers. Veronica took me around to see the community surrounding and introduced me all amenities such as the pool, BBQ place, duck ponds, gym, complimentary gardening section and free honey collection on site for the tenants.
In addition, because due to sudden job relocation, I have to withdraw my application. Shellen and Veronica returned my holding deposit fee as promised. My spouse and I really appreciate their customer service and warm and welcoming attitude even we didn't end up leasing the unit. The communication was clear and transparent throughout the leasing process. Nowadays it's rare to see businesses that maintain integrity. They really put heart into their job as we can see their enthusiasm and caring to all the potential and current tenants.
I would recommend to others meet Shellen and Veronica and check out the units!

I've lived at Avalon Meydenbauer for many years and I plan to be here for many more. For me, it's a perfect location in downtown Bellevue, close to shopping, food, entertainment and work. But all of that wouldn't matter unless the staff was awesome--and they are!
Just one recent (January 2024) example of a staff member going above and beyond was when a community consultant named Eric helped me locate a package of medical supplies. I thought the package was stolen from my mailbox so I emailed the staff to report it. I honestly didn't think it would be recovered, I just wanted to report the theft.
Eric answered my email and went above and beyond to help me locate the missing package. Instead of just acknowledging that my package was missing and going about his day, he double-checked the package room and mailroom areas. When he didn't find anything he actually looked at video footage of the mailroom from that afternoon. That was probably a lot of research that Eric had to do. He didn't see any criminal behavior on the video footage, but he reached back out to me and mentioned that the package may have been delivered to a safe box instead of my mailbox.
I double-checked my mailbox and located the parcel key and found that my package was actually delivered to a safe box underneath my mailbox.
This is just one example of the great experiences I've had with the Avalon Meydenbauer staff during the many years I've lived here. Beth (the community manager) as well as the maintenance staff have also been so helpful throughout the years!

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the maintenance team, particularly Luis and Michael. They've proven to be not only highly competent but also incredibly reliable and honest in addressing all concerns I've raised. Their willingness to go above and beyond in answering my questions has made a significant difference. Despite the minor traffic inconvenience on southbound 118 between 4 pm and 7 pm every weekday, the location remains conveniently accessible to both 405 and I-90. It's worth noting that spending nearly 20 minutes in that area during peak hours is not uncommon.

I've been living in Avalon Meydenbauer for over a year. The staff in the leasing office are wonderful, friendly and efficient. Special shoutout to the whole maintenance team. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, often going above and beyond expectations.

When I read the plethora of positive reviews about the leasing and maintenance teams here I almost didn't believe it. In fact they are among some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever come across. We had some maintenance issues that needed to be cleared up when we moved in and Brayden and Junior came over and dealt with everything in under an hour within 24 hours of our request and were extremely friendly the entire time.

I recently had a leakage issue in my bathroom and I was really satisfied with how the team at Avalon helped me fix the problem. Right after I put in the request in the system, Attila promptly reached out to schedule a suitable timeblock for maintenance on the same day. He was able to quickly diagnose the root cause of the issue and resolve it efficiently & effectively. I especially appreciate his/the maintenance team’s support during the holiday season! I really didn’t expect such a fast turnaround.

I recently viewed this property and one of their 2 bedroom units. The property itself looked nice and clean upon arrival. The unit I was shown, presented itself as VERY modern and checked off a lot of the boxes on my requirements list. Once my tour was almost over, I viewed some of the properties amenities quickly, such as their outdoor pool. I love to swim so that made me happy. I also was able to view their fitness center, which I was pleased to learn about. The accessibility of having a fitness center on site is amazing because not only would I be saving myself a monthly gym membership, but I could go workout with no commute and know I’ll be safe & close to home. This property is definitely a high contender on my possibilities list. Thanks again to the warm and friendly staff who’ve been communicating w/ me!

First in foremost- Luis is top notch Nicest most efficient maintenance team I’ve ever had in my 7 years Bellevue. Give that boy a raise.
Now for the real talk..
My daughter was scheduled to have a conference call with a “Jen Adams “ ???
Couldn’t tell you if it’s a real person or not.. the meeting was for last month and we’ve NEVER HEARD FROM HER/HIM
Now the matter we wished to speak on was very minimal and not of extreme importance (they did not know that) we received a confirmation the call-meet will take place on (for example) a Monday.
Why is my daughter calling and emailing Tues. Wed. Thurs. Fri. And then when we finally get a lady on the phone (NOT the “Jen adams” but a different lady, she is EXTREMELY- and unnecessarily rude with a sense of “I can’t be bothered with this right now” and proceeds to tell me this Jen Adams person is “very busy” and she’ll get to me when she has a chance??? After a WEEK of calling/emailing
I’ll update this if we ever hear from this Jen Adams but if you’re looking for a unit for a loved one, be prepared to fight tooth and nail to speak to anyone who will give a rats behind.
Again they did not know the matter was minimal.. what if it was urgent/safety matter?
All else, place is clean, and in a good spot for someone who works in town.

Thank you so much for the whole management and maintenance team in Avalon Meydenbauer! I had my carpets redone and everyone was very helpful and flexible with the schedule to make sure the carpets were done with quality while also being mindful of my time. Special thanks to Iva, she was the one who made it all happen. She is always been helpful and on top of things. And she always goes above and beyond to make sure that we’re satisfied!

We've really enjoyed living in Sammamish View Apartments the last nine months. Our two bedroom apartment was newly updated when we moved in, including new floors, new cabinets, new kitchen appliances. We love having our own little backyard, and a great trail nearby to take our dog on walks. And we also have really appreciated how prompt and responsive management is to maintenance requests. When we expressed concern about our washer not working as well as it was before (it's quite old) and Jim Baker III was kind enough to replace it within just a couple days, no questions asked.

Want to share my experience with the staff at the leasing office at Avalon Meydenbauer. Maintenance requests have always been taken care of promptly. The staff are very professional and committed to resolving requests efficiently. The leasing staff are also very responsive. My experience in particular with Ms Iva Radman has been stellar. Not only did she respond to our queries promptly, but she has been patient and understanding with any follow-ups needed. She has always gone the extra mile to make sure our requests/asks were taken care of satisfactorily.

The apartment has the worst management on parking. There are always non-electric vehicles parking at the charging spots but the leasing office never cares about it. Recently the situation became worse. For example, there is a black Jeep parking in the charging station and never move or charge the car for over two weeks. We tried to have the leasing office to contact the car owner to resolve the issue but the car is still there for another week. Since the leasing office didn’t do anything, there are more non-electric vehicles starting to park in the charging station.
Poor management and never expect they can resolve any problem. Not recommended

No joke, giving this place 0 starsif I could. Trust me, I’m doing you a favor. Do not move in here. The walls are THIN. You can hear your neighbor above having a regular conversation, when they use the bathroom and kids running around. (We’re on the second floor) and have a three year old.
If you try to get a hold of a manager, good luck. They go through a third party and it’s ridiculously terrible. We moved here because we were relocating back to WA from CA and didn’t look at the place before we moved in but let me tell you. You will not be able to enjoy the space here.
I put in 10-12 work orders in 2 months of living here… (this is not a joke) how is that normal? Management won’t meet with me every time I ask to talk to someone. All you get are texts and that’s it. The light bulb needed replacing, our key door needed replacing 3 times in two weeks! The carpet was stained!!
The audacity yall… they even left the previous renters cup in the cupboard and a damn Christmas tree. This place is a joke… good luck.
Almost two months living here and now they’re saying we parked in the wrong parking stall. What?! Give us a break!

We are so happy to call Avalon Towers Bellevue home! Ana and Matt made our move in experience stress free and answered all hundred of my questions. Stephen is also so kind and helpful! The location is near everything you need at a walking distance, the amenities are great and the building is secured. We made the right choice calling this place home.

Sammamish View is a great place to live! I’ve lived here for 14 years. And the response from Mgmnt (Helen) and Maintenance Mgr (Jim) is quick! I appreciate Helen (Mgr) and all that she does. Recently, I have experienced the Landscapers “blowing” all the ground debri on my car on multiple days, the whole purpose to have a carport is to keep my car as clean as possible. Helen let me know that she will talk to the Landscape Rep and she was so sincere that I appreciate it!
It’s become a little challenging to get to know Sammamish View staff when they are no longer on site and Helen does a great job communicating!

Just moved in. The location is perfect, close to the highway, and plenty of restaurants. The staff are quick and friendly to respond to any issue you may have. Absolutely blown away by the quality service from the maintenance team!! The professional conduct of the staff here make it feel more like home and less like an apartment. The gym facilities are amazing, and the package delivery system is very user-friendly.
While the kitchen storage space is lacking for those who love to cook and have all their unique tools to do so, that can be fixed with some amazon bought shelves. Overall, an amazing place to live if it fits your lifestyle. Would definitely recommend!

They are holding (more like stole) money from us. We were supposed to let them know if we move-in with them or not after the application fee was paid. So they hold $400 from us, while they approve us for the amount of our deposit based on our credit score. Since they ended up asking a one months rent deposit ($2,000) I decided not to go with it. Now we are trying to contact them so they can give us that part of the deposit to hold our spot for a few hour while they were “approving” us, and it has been TWO WEEKS!!! That they kept avoiding our calls they even blocked our numbers so it goes straight to voicemail… SCAMMERS! Be careful! DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY TO HOLD NOTHING!!!!

The apartments are in a decent location but the build quality of the units is awful (the walls and floors might as well be papier-mâché). Management staff is almost irrelevant and very late to respond to requests / inquiries. Smoking is also allowed so expect your apartment to wreak like cigarette smoke from any neighbor who might be a smoker (incredibly trashy I’m being perfectly honest). Definitely steer clear, you can find MUCH better quality for the price.

First off, Surrey Downs failed to notify us that the property was bought by King County for public housing so we had a few problematic neighbors. We started renting our apartment with a different company before it was bought out by Surrey Downs and the quality and care declined rapidly. The people working in the front office gave my family nothing but smug attitudes or lies. They would tell you one thing, but when it came down to paper work it was always different. The amount for rent was never correct on the company portal, there was always some random extra charge. They also try to "improve" the place by doing silly things like adding a little garden or a bee apiary, but what the place really needs is new management and not to mention a gate to keep the thieves out that drop their stolen cars off, more parking and a better trash situation. The apartment itself was cramped, had one window, little natural light and air flow and a TON of mold. The management acts like they care about families but will force ridiculous rules every other week. At one point they started throwing kid's toy houses away because they were in the way of power washers. I wouldn't rent an apartment from Surrey Downs unless the only other option would be to sleep in my car. 0.5 / 5 stars

Lived here for 2 years. The units are nice, the staff are incredible, and the package system is extremely efficient (best I have seen by far).
Soundproofing is not good at all but that's just how it is these days. Also unfortunately some people who live here are irresponsible - pet owners stinking up the elevators and people leaving their trash in the hallways :(
Rent goes up by *a lot* when your lease ends.
Regardless 5/5 would live here again if I had unlimited money.

Having lived here for over two years now, I would highly recommend AMLI Spring District. The building is great, lots of amenities like free coffee, fitness room, package room, underground parking, plenty of outdoor space whether that is in the courtyard, on the rooftop, or just outside around the block.
The block is great to walk around in, more businesses are moving into the retail spots around, and the neighborhood has lots of events throughout the year, such as farmers markets, concerts, movie nights, and holiday events.
My favorite part by far though about living here is the management staff. They are very active, responsive, and helpful. Very eager to have events and foster interaction within the community. Anytime I have an issue or even a random question, they are there to help. The maintenance staff is super responsive and regularly goes above and beyond.
I enjoy living in AMLI Spring District and cant wait for the building and neighborhood to keep growing and for the light rail to finally be operational.
Oh, and they have AC in the units.

The staff here can be extremely friendly only until they hook you up with Deposit and Application fee. Once you make your payment, you are completely discarded. Firstly, they do not do their job of verifying if essentials are taken care like equipment, basic clean up, blinds, etc. to make sure new tenants are good to move in. The modern day trend I've observed lately especially in Bellevue is that they expect new tenants to find issues and report them as maintenance issues even before they move in. This is done when you want to submit any complaints you might have before you move in. Some things you will end up noticing after you move in. Then you are stuck with bad management who will disregard your emails or phone calls. The worst part is that most of your calls go to their automated systems and no one cares to call you back. I lost my $300 deposit and $50 application fee because I didn't want to move in to a unit that was not fully ready to move in. The staff here can be very rude when you complain about obvious issues. It's their duty to do preliminary checks before they force people to sign up. Its my fault to believe such people in the first place. But I didn't want to deal with such people and chose to lose my deposit. I'm now well situated with a better management as they are very professional. Long story short - this place is not worth it. I've given honest feedback to the management but they didn't bother to return my money saying they cant repay my deposit because they took the unit off the market for a while assuming I would sign the lease. But hey, your apartment and staff is not worth it. No thank you!

So far a great experience it’s quiet, close to everything! Leasing office and maintenance are extremely responsive and helpful! Great community for people with pets!

I've liked living here so far. I'm planning on leaving within the next month (and currently pouring over the reviews for other buildings!) so figured I'd leave one. Generally, this is the best apartment building I've ever lived in. The building is clean, modern, well-maintained, and has great facilities. The gym is the best I've ever seen at an apartment (two squat racks _and_ a smith machine, in addition to cardio machines, free weights, and more). Facilities folks are especially great, but so are the other apartment employees
Getting to or from the apartment by road is great because of the garage's placement. There are a couple of dog friendly stores (a cafe and deli) with more to come throughout 2023
If you want to get to Facebook's offices easily, this is the place for you. I moved here because that was important to me at the time, but is less important to me now and I'd rather be in a more downtown area. I would recommend this apartment building to you if you're willing to trade proximity to city life for a very short commute

The community manager is always welcoming and enthusiastic to talk to me or the members of my household. This is a huge difference from most of the places I've lived and creates a real home feel. I submitted a maintenance ticket. It was processed and responded to quickly, and the work was done to my great satisfaction. I really enjoy it here. The landscape around the community is always taken care of as are common paths, staircases, and parking lot. I really like that the the common areas are clean and maintained. I also appreciate the recycling efforts including having all three receptacles, for compost, trash, and recyclables as well as Goodwill donation receptacle. The one thing that I'm a bit disappointed about is the noise from the Richard's road. Maybe this could be solved with planted tress between my building and the road.

Stayed here for 6+ yrs. Beautiful, clean and green community bang on NE 8th street, but rent is on the higher side with no option to negotiate when renewing lease. Close to Walgreens, Safeway, Fredmeyer and public schools in BSD.
Would have been great if it would have been a gated community as it's on the main street, lots of theft incidents happened few years back. There were no security cameras in driveways or common spaces when I used to stay.

I am currently living at Surrey Downs. The pictures of the grounds are old..Grass is not properly watered. Large areas of dead grass..
The property is no longer nicely manicured, the creek pump has been broken for many months-promises to repair but no action, holding pond has a green slime on it , some shrubs look scraggly. The ducks have left..no more fun watching baby duckies each Spring. A positive. the crows stay away. :) Not worth the rent being charged. I have been here 7 years but must consider other arrangements. I do not recommend living here.. i plan to move when my lease is up for renewal .

Mark and Heather in the office are outstanding. The maintenance team is wonderful. I have never experienced such personal care and consideration from an apartment complex. They are attentive and are able to solve any issue quickly and efficiently. We love that it is such a wonderful place to live for families and pets. Also the new electronic door locks are amazing! I haven't had to dig for my keys while carrying bags since they were installed. Honestly, take a chance with this beautiful community. You won't regret it!!

I'm relocating from out of town and just signed a new lease at Surrey Downs Apartment to move in a month. In my time searching for a rental home, I needed to find a place that met my budget, comfort, and location needs. Surrey Downs met them all. So conveniently located to shopping, dining, and access to the freeway, especially if you need to head into Seattle downtown. Very well maintained with nice amenities, including a pond with friendly ducks. I truthfully didn't get an apartment tour - nothing was available to see, but I knew this was the place for me. The day I called to inquire about a listing, I was warmly greeted by Shelleen, the property manager who answered all my questions and set up time for me to come by and meet her and see the property that day since I was only in town for a week. When I arrived, she made me feed important and heard with any and all my concerns. The application process was quick and Shelleen was wonderful to work with - she made the extra effort to take care of me. I look forward to moving in to my new apartment!

This apartment complex has one of the most beautiful apartments in the area! My apartment had the biggest windows and a picture perfect balcony view all year round.
I worked and lived there for several years and I still miss my old apartment 🥰
If you are a new commerce like I was, this community will make you feel at home 💚
⭐️ Service and staff is great as well!⭐️

If you are just moving from India to Seattle/Bellevue - this place along with Woodland commons and Madison bellevue would be your best bet and probably the one people would recommend. Foothill wins among all due to its floor plan, access restricted entry & elevator in some buildings.
Pros:
1. Good floor plan- spacious, good ceiling height. Building 10, 11 have views of downtown bellevue, especially if it is facing south or west.
2. Very nice usable Gym/pool
3. Awesome location near 148th Fredmeyer/chaat house/apna bazaar shopping area and Downtown bellevue
4. Great maintenance staff, leasing staff - kudos to Lizet, Iraq, Shania and Soroush.
5. Very safe - i know there were some package thefts but in general the place is very safe. We were not in our apartment for few months and it was untouched when we came back.
6. 95% Indians mostly working in Microsoft or Amazon. Plenty vanpools etc. It matters especially if you are new to USA and you feel more comfortable in Indian crowd(very personal trait, eventually it wont matter, but it did matter to us in the first year we immigrated)
Cons:
1. Some apartments have floor noise both from above and below(cracking sound when you walk)
2. No parks in walking vicinity - all you have is within community to stroll around.
3. Rents are among the highest in the area for garden communities.
I see some reviews on how foothill charged for move -out. It is funny since i don't understand why people forget labor charges in US. We moved twice within foothill and they charged us standard rate - carpet cleaning and apartment cleaning. If you want to even save 200-300 bucks at move out, and spend your time and effort tying to save this much, the joke is on you. When you get an apartment you get it in pristine condition. So when you move out, how can you expect that the next occupant will do good with your level of your cleaning? Especially funny since a lot of people who live in Foothill are engineers earning much more per hour than they want to blame foothill for. :)

The best apartment complex I've ever lived in. The move-in process has been very smooth. Inside of a brand new apartment very nice welcoming gift was waiting for us. Pablo, Naomi, and Megan go above and beyond to make our residency as great as possible. We had a couple of community events (Pasta night, Hot cocoa grab and go, gift wrapping station). It's a very nice gesture, especially during the pandemic. The apartments themselves are quiet, well made, appliances have great quality. Also, I like the area. Close to everything and very quiet at the same time. Nice to go for a walk in the evening. The views from our apartment as well as from the rooftop are amazing.

No move is simple nor stress free! However, my recent move to Avalon Towers Bellevue was as close to perfect as can be. From the application process to the move-in, I would like to commend the staff at Avalon Towers. I would like to especially call attention to CATHY MENDIOLA whose great care and attention felt more motherly than as an administrator. I will never forget how excited she was when she provided the first tour. She was so happy for me and my good choice of the floor plan. I waited two weeks to write this review because it all seemed too good to be true. But, the sincerity and support during my moving experience and setup has been exceptional. It was also great when Cathy took the time to come and see the apartment with everything in order and furnished. I also give a BIG shout out to the maintenance team who worked with Cathy to complete my move-in. I am looking forward to my stay at Avalon Towers in Bellevue and I wish all the best to Cathy and the staff for a job WELL DONE!

Such a beautiful spot and in a convenient location. Near lake Sammamish, i-90 trail, shopping, and the Park and Ride! We love living here. Glad to have found this gem. Life is good here.
One complaint would be that the office seems understaffed. Many times will call, no one is in. Leave a voicemail, no reply. E-mail, no reply. Finally go to the office and hope someone is in. It's difficult for us to stay on top of things too when we have to keep trying over and over to get a question answered. Some concerns I have e-mailed about or left messages on VM still haven't been responded to and I just gave up. Implementation of the new parking assignments and fee policy seemed rushed and chaotic. We understand they are doing the best they can though, and we appreciate their patience with us too! Staff is very friendly and accommodating when you can get a hold of them.
We feel so lucky to have found this community! Plenty of grade-school age kids for our son to play outside with (yes kids still play outside these days!) We are glad he is having a real childhood with so many friends in the neighborhood.
We held our small wedding shower at the Cabana and will never forget! It was so beautiful. My cousin loved the location so much that we hosted her baby shower here as well!

I like this apartment building and never had problem with services here. The people who works here are super helpful and responsible! They would solve your issue with no delays. One thing that I don’t like here is the gym facilities. Their machines are very too old and they are not well kept maintained! Most of the machines make noises and you can tell than it’s been a long time from their last maintenance. Maybe it’s time for new machines for this gym! Rather than that everything else is good!

We looked at approximately 10 apartments in the Bellevue area before moving into Avalon Towers Bellevue and have now been living here for two weeks - so far so wonderful! Let me share some thought about this community.
<People>
Leasing office staffs (Cathy, Mike - you are always so nice and helpful!! you make me feel comfortable to ask questions and welcomed)
Front desk (Ken: very nice & helpful - before we ask, he already knows!, Angelita, Steve: really nice, friendly, helpful!)
Maintenance staff (Attila, Rora, Ben, Javier: very knowledgeable, always willing to help, nice, paying attention to details - all of you are awesome!)
<Maintenance/ condition>
FYI, this community has 2 weeks VIP period for new tenants to address any potential issues that may arise. I am quite obsessed with cleanliness and I pick up very very tiny stuff when it comes to cleaning. Whenever I requested things to be perfectly done, the maintenance team took care of them really well right away and were very helpful! Very impressive work!
<Common Area>
Unobstructed view of Olympic Mountains, downtown Seattle, and Lake Washington on the rooftop at the 15th floor of West building. Also on the 15th floor is a good size gym with windows all around which motivates me to work out every day.
<Others>
It is hard to find the residential building or house with AC in it in Seattle area but this tower has AC and we can control temperature very easily. Everything is very well maintained and convenient to live in this community! We feel we made a good choice moving to Avalon Towers Bellevue.

I've been living here since Mar, 2009. I live in a remodel one-bed room. Interior is fine. They very well take care of ground. The manager helps residents cordial. Also, the maintenance mans are working hard and they are always patient and diligent in their jobs. The pool is just reconditioned for opening this May. Moreover, security is good. Nice neighbors. Only one negative thing for me is the one-bed room is too small for my family; specially, after we have a baby.
