Horrible leasing experience. Didn't end up moving in. They pulled the old bait and switch on us. Applied for, was approved for, and then signed a lease for an apartment. The day after signing the lease, we got a call to inform us that the apartment would actually cost an additional $300 a month if we wanted to move in. According to Craig in the leasing office, the lease we had signed, the LEGAL DOCUMENT we had signed, had been shredded and no longer existed. Not sure how that is legal but ok. We were welcome to look at other available apartments but since all available apartments are also significantly more expensive and for smaller floor plans, we are basically out of luck. Shady, shady company.
Rent went extremely high for lower quality of living standards. Constant new front desk people should be a red flag with management. Elevators don’t work all the time. I would like an explanation as to why rent increased when the building significantly diminishing.

**RENTER BEWARE** cannot stress that enough!

If I could give zero stars I would. We lived there for 16 months and left on the date our lease ended and received a summary of charges 2+ weeks later with bizarre charges. Tried contacting the leasing and management department for weeks. Never received a call back, never an email—literally radio silence despite my 10+ attempts to contact them. A year and a half later, we receive another invoice, now for 3x the original. Included on it, are now several brand new charges, referencing our previous move out. Curious. Once again, attempted to contact them several times (phone and email record to prove it) with no response. 8 months later, we receive a letter from a collections agency. We now have to employ a lawyer to fight fraudulent charges from unscrupulous and disorganized company. Funny how they send you ridiculous invoices but then never respond with supporting evidence to back up said charges. Sounds like a scam to me….and clearly several other people of you read through the numerous other reviews. Not only are we dealing with this headache 2 years after leaving the apartment, but our time there was less than stellar as well. Talk about disorganized and moronic.

RENTER BEWARE!!!! I cannot stress that enough.
Leasing office does not respond to any requests. I filled out the online form multiple times to receive more information and to try to schedule a tour, emailed them, called the number on the website (was directed to a customer service line and then was transferred to the front desk of the building and they said they couldn't help me). Can only imagine what their management is like if their leasing office doesn't even respond to potential tenants...

This is the most fraudulent company to deal with. I moved out of this apartment and a year later received a bill for repairs, which if repairs are needed I'm supposed to receive upon moving out. This management company wanted me to pay for repainting the apartment and deep cleaning it, which is what they do to prepare an apartment for a new tenant. We only stayed for one year. The tenants were an elderly lady and another adult. There were normal wear and tear and I received a bill for $2,400! I disputed the bill and this management company gave this debt to credit recovery agency that put a bill I disputed on my credit report as over 90 days late, negatively impacting my credit. I've since hired a lawyer to sue for damages. Rent from these thieves at your own peril!

I'll be fair. The apartments are good, and I had a spectacular view of the Hudson. However, it looks like their accounting is handled by 2 different organizations within the same company. I got talked into upgrading to a gorgeous river view, larger apartment. This resulted in me being charged for days of rent I wasn't supposed to owe. They agreed to terminate the lease early on my smaller pad at Pierpointe St. so we could move into the high rise on Alexander. The agreement, all documented in leases and emails, was that I would not be charged any rent for the last week of the old pad, pay first week of the new pad, or I would've been paying the same week twice. While the documents reflect this, first I got a $17,000 bill for the remainder of the original lease! Keith Thompson and Juan Liriano were involved in this. They did fix this. But later got a $1000 bill for the overlap week! I spoke in person, emailed etc. telling them to please adjust. I got the "yes will be handled" and forgot about it. I told them I didn't want any issues in the future because in a couple of years I was planning on buying a home, didn't want credit issues. I didn't worry because the $17,000 bill was fixed. Months later, WHILE I AM STILL LIVING IN HUDSON PARK, I got a bill from their accounting telling me I owed rent LOL. I now owed $1,200 roughly. I spoke to an Oscar Guzman, who said he'd reach out to the office staff, said it was hard to get a hold of them, he'd work on it. Again didn't worry. And didn't hear from anyone until this year, a COLLECTION CALL. Exactly what I warned them about. Tired, I sent a detailed letter to Hudson Park management and to the Better Business Bureau. Haven't heard anything and 45 days later I got hit on credit, bringing my score from high 700s to low 700s. I am now going to pay the damn thing just to remove the collection and recover some of my score. I'll also see what other actions I can take to fix my credit. This is not the only issue I noticed. For fun I attach the letter demanding $17,000 in payment. Great place, rent at your own risk.

Had a wonderful experience with Abdoul Bah. He is extremely personable, warm, helpful and knowledgeable. I was looking to cross shop apartments, but his ability to find a perfect apartment simplified my process. Ask for him if you want a streamlined, personalized experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. The only thing that is redeemable about Hudson Park is the location to the train and the river side. The conditions are awful.

Accessibility is not considered at all, often times both elevators are out at the same time leaving residents to take up to 14 flights of stairs and there are no handicapped assistance at any of the doors.

Pests are a huge issue, mice, cockroaches, etc.

The management is very slow to resolve any issues and lacks empathy when they are in the wrong.

The location may be desirable, but BEWARE before moving in here.
River Club at Hudson Park Apartments is a gorgeous waterfront community on the Hudson River right outside New York City. 30 minutes by Metro-North. Their leasing office has offered excellent service to help me find the perfect apartment to share with my family and to also work from home. I would like to give a special shoutout to Marienne Andino, she is a first-class leasing specialist. She made finding the process perfect while I focused on work. She was extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. She is so warm and made herself available in every stage of the process. The apartment is spacious. The amenities are quality. The concierge service is top of the line. The servicing staff is gracious.
It's a great place to work and live. It's also easily accessible to reach work in Manhattan and the area of Yonkers is safe at all times. This is first-class living in New York State. Thanks Marienne!
No way to get into contact with leasing office which seems to be an ongoing issue. They will not call back or respond to emails. I can only imagine what management is like living here. Who knows maybe the workers are on strike or dissatisfied with the job that they gave a big F you to the building and property by trying to not rent out the units. RIP to profits. Power to the workers tho 🤷‍♀️ Don’t even try to lease or book a tour. It’s a waste of time. There are other apartments in the same city or surrounding cities.
Too many issues with this place. I wished I had never rented here. Firstly, after providing documentation multiple times to Nicole of having renters insurance I was still being charged a $15 fee. Secondly, they lack communication and neglected to notify me in a timely manner that their machine could not scan the money order my former bank issued. Instead they added a charged of $75 to my account. If I hadn’t had inquire about the charge 2 months later, I would not have know they weren’t able to cash the money order and by that time I had closed my bank account, which made it a hassle to get another money order re-issued. Third, do not think you’re safe here. I don’t even think their cameras work because there was a robbery that took place next to my apartment and I made contact with one of the perpetrators while the robbery was in progress. In my opinion, their response to the situation was more along the lines of blaming the victim. Fourth, they charged excessive fees after I move out. And they also owe me a refund for charging a fee when I had rental insurance for the entirety of my lease. Yet when I reach out to the company, no one will respond. I’ve rented luxury apartment before and have never experienced this level of frustration like I have renting here. Do y’all selves a favor and save yourself the headache and look elsewhere, this is my advice.

Excellent Service from Sabrina!

I recently worked with Sabrina, the leasing agent, to secure an apartment and I must say she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure that the process was seamless, smooth and stress-free for my family and me. Her attention to detail, resourcefulness, and exceptional customer service skills are truly commendable.

Since moving into the property nearly three weeks ago, everything has been going great. The location is wonderful and my family and I absolutely love it here. The apartment is spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable.

I would highly recommend Sabrina to anyone who is in need of a leasing agent. Her professionalism and dedication to her job are simply outstanding. Overall, our experience with Sabrina and the property has been wonderful and we are very happy with our decision to move here.

Thank you, Sabrina, for all your help!
For the benefit of those that may be seeking a dwelling for the first time in a muli-family facility, obviously location, amenities and convenience are determine factors, but one often overlooked is the level of service provided by the property manager, that can make all the difference between a great experience and a frustrating one. I want to give a special mention to Sabrina from the leasing office. Not only did she go above and beyond looking for the best deal that fitted my budget, she also made recommendations that I was not even thinking of. She is beyond knowledgeable of her property, the community and neighborhood and she is very resourceful. The proof for me was how many people made it their point to go out of their way to come up to me and let me know that I was working with the best bar none. She is so humble, does not put pressure on you and is available. What has been most impressive is her dedication to provide you with a great experience beyond signing of the lease. I see her everywhere wearing many hats, always with a smile and a can-do/we-will-get-it-done attitude. I am SO glad my experience was with her. Sincerely, JCL
We had the pleasure of working with Sabrina from the leasing team. She was incredibly diligent and responsive to us and our concerns. She showed us many apartments and wanted us to be 100% comfortable before renting. We’re very appreciative of her and she was a pleasure to work with.
We’ve been here for almost a month now and we love living here. It’s quiet, well maintained and clean. We also have very friendly neighbors and the staff is all super nice. Location is convenient and also beautiful.

Our only concern is the garage, the turns are a little tight and there aren’t mirrors at every corner to see incoming cars which can be problematic. Besides that, overall, we are very happy we chose River Club!
I just moved in this week and I want to say ANIYA is a shining star! She’s gone above and beyond for me and deserves a raise!! She has been prompt in responses and is so thorough with the leasing process. It does take a while and you have to put in a lot of effort but this building is worth it - friendly neighbors and concierge, nice amenities, and great views! I will update when my lease is up but so far so good!

I lived in Hudson Park North for less than a year. I actually decided to break the lease and pay the 2 month penalty because the conditions weren't fantastic. They don't really clean the floors, so when a resident tears their trash bags while stepping out of their apartment to throw out trash, it leaks onto the floor. But the problem is, it stays there. I saw that smear for a couple of months, up to the day I moved out. There's perpetually an elevator out of commission, and living on a floor 10+, it was horrendous taking the stairs in the summer heat.

Just some background, there's actually Hudson Park North where I lived, and then there's the luxury complex River Club Hudson Park. My opinion is that this is a way of extracting rent at various price points. My rent was pretty high. Not Manhattan level high, but pretty high for the conditions. River Club Hudson Park is Manhattan level high. I think their stringent policies on paying the 2 month penalty to break the lease hurts people who are just trying to get by. Most apartments allow you to find a replacement, but they want the 2 months free rent while finding a new lessee themselves. I couldn't imagine a more predatory practice.
