Excellent customer service. I was greeted by the cashier when I entered the building. I was asked by another employee if I needed any help finding anything. The store was clean and stocked. I didn’t have trouble finding what I was looking for. I didn’t have to wait in line very long. A far better experience than the last time I went to this Fanily Dollar.

Not sure if this location is closing, but a lot of empty spaces and shelves. Almost everything except groceries is on clearance. Good if you are looking for bargains, but not if you are doing your weekly shopping as selection is limited.

The people are nice here good prices especially for the tough times rn.

The only complaint I have is, is the dairy products. For some reason, the milk doesn't last long at this place. Esp if it's marked down, I've bought marked down milk here before, and I get home, and it's soured.. even the supposed fresh milk with in date and has like a week or so left, you open it and with in days it's ruined.. goes for the cheese as well.. I've also noticed where they keep the orange juice. That section is not very cold.. they had about 10 jugs marked down one time, and the jugs were all bulged out. Everything was separated in the jug, looking nasty.. I've seen quite a few things outdated in both meijer locations. I purchased a meat product in the meat section that was vacuum sealed, and the date had expired a month prior.. with food prices being so high, I'm starting to return the items I buy that are not any count bc I'm tired of wasting money on garbage.

Store was clean, well stocked, all that was good until checkout. Only had U-Scan lanes open and we had 5 coupons, none of them scanned and it took 5 minutes for the attendant on each one. What should have taken 5 minutes, took 25, very frustrating.

Overall a good shopping experience. However, every few trips for groceries, we get charged twice somewhere on that long receipt. This past trip I paid $6 for a jar of applesauce because I got charged twice. I live 45 mins away so going back to the store isn't worth the gas. My fault for not checking my scroll I mean receipt before leaving the store.

This is by far the Best Meijer's in Lexington.!!! My fiancee and I are always the last ones out of the store it seems like whenever we go shopping there .!! Lol
It's always very clean and organized very well.! Also a Big Plus is their bathrooms are ALWAYS VERY CLEAN & They don't smell bad.. 😂 Lol *That's always a plus.! 🤣
But there is a guy name Jack that works until closing time and he is just hands down the nicest employee I've ever met.!! He didn't try to rush us out of the store even tho I know he was ready to go home as well.!!! But the past 3 times we've checked out right at closing time maybe a couple minutes after and Jack has always been very patient with us and was very nice too..!!!! Thanx So much Jack.!!!

Great spot to get movie candies and laundry detergent deals

Save A Lot is the staple of those who have issues financially and need a store that meets the needs of parents to feed their children. That America facilitates its promise to make sure all people can eat, not starve. That there's a place affordable, with quality produce that satisfies families at the table. I have known Save A Lot since Harlan, KY where I was raised.

Have always loved Meijer since moving to the Tri State area. This Meijer seemed somewhat larger than others I've been to but also had a little more of a dated feel. It does look like they are doing some remodeling so maybe that will improve the feel of the store. Always like Meijers less chaotic atmosphere than that of Target or Walmart. I also like some of their more unique offerings in produce. Plenty of self checkout but the regular checkout lines were well staffed with baggers for each line--thats unusual these days. All in all a good shopping experience.

Prices weren’t bad at all. Comparable to competitive grocery/Dept stores nearby. Fairly clean inside the store. The toilets were filthy. Employees were pretty friendly. Great selection of about everything. Everything is well organized. Will be returning.

Great store, Store Mgr is great and always working as hard as anyone else. Every employee there treats my wife and I like we are family. We very seldom ever buy anywhere else period.

Ms. Jenny at the Versailles Rd. location brightens my day every time I enter this establishment! She is kind, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful! I go out of my way to go there vs other stores with the same products closer to my home. Visit this store...you won't regret it. Plus you'll save some cash!

Great place to shop. Generally has great deals on items you can't find elsewhere. Stays fairly busy too. Website could use some work but can't fault the store for that. Plus this one has US Bank inside. Store is very clean and well lit. With businesses having trouble finding people willing to work. I'm impressed with the friendly smiles and the willingness to help from the fine people that work here.

This store is always nasty, very unorganized! Only stop in to grab cat food, just luckily they keep it stocked! Employees are always rude! This is the nastiest family dollar in lexington!

Seems for the last few months this store has just been neglected. It's not uncommon to find empty shelves, aisles blocked by both scattered merchandise and boxes of product waiting to be stocked. There is almost always a line and a single cashier.

Rudest cashier I've ever dealt with. I normally don't go to this Family Dollar but happened to be in the area so I stopped in to get my weekly laundry soap. The first thing I noticed were two staff members behind the counter talking badly about a previous customer who had trouble with her debit card. The store was a mess, with stuff looking like it was just thrown wherever. I literally had to hunt for my laundry soap and matching fabric softener. Got to the counter only to find the rudest, snobbbiest cashier I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. Granted this store is on the outskirts of a more difficult area of town but that does NOT give these staff members the right to treat customers like that. This is a store the Corporate Office of the Family Dollar companies would be absolutely ashamed of. I'll stick to my own neighborhood Family Dollar from now on.

This is a bad store. The people are rude. Their always outta stock including my dogs treats she loves. Among other stock. Always understaffed. Will be going elsewhere

Always long lines and one person working last week a guy in front of me forgot something and slowly walked to the back of the store while 10 people are standing in line and the cashier didn't cancel his order but let everyone what in line until the disrespectful customer took his good ole Time coming back
