Great location and wonderful staff. The concierge was so extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and tips for getting about. Room was no frills, but clean and well kept with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Hectic but manageable. Public transport system super efficient but busy
the location is great, the shower was good and eveything is clean, but we had problem with the light that the staff didnt tend to fix, and the bed was soft too much.
all in all decent value for the money

This hotel is great clean, tidy and comfortable. marco is a massive help ordering cabs, transfers etc, . location is in a perfect spot to get to all the popular landmarks. We had a great stay
Nice place to stay and close to many tourist attractions!
First and foremost, the service and Marco who own the place are pretty much outstanding. We arrived at a very busy time of the year in Roma, everything was full everywhere in town, and we had to reschedule our trip and cancel our reservation. Marco proposed us to stay one night at the best price, accepted full refund of the rest of the stay, and still give us the choice for a better room for that night. Obviously the rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed and brand new. Amazing place in Roma, we did everything by foot, very quiet location, but also close to restaurants and markets, very convenient. The entrance is very discrete, it's basically a nice apartments building, but when you'll see the rooms you will not regret it!
So you can come your eyes closed, Marco will be very available to help you no matter what you need, you can't be disappointed, we've been traveling for more than 15 years, he is the best host you can find, any country, anywhere, by far.
The location in Rome is excellent, close to the park. The old building, especially the elevator has its charme. The breakfast is awful, but one needs to know, that breakfast in italy is overrated and only starts with 1 espresso. Marco is running the place and does his best, to help, he organizes everything, so Thanks Marco !!

After I booked a deluxe triple room, the owner of this place cursed me, when i called him and wanted to understand why he would put me in a room with a single big bed. That was not professional at all! Shame on you mister whoever you are!
The room was pleasantly decorated, well equipped and clean. The service was excellent. Sanda was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Totti and Roberta were also very helpful and kind. This place is a true gem in a fantastic location and I'd stay here again.
Very nice little spot in the heart of Rome. We had the suite which was perfect for our 4 night stay.

It’s a very good location, but this place need to be renovated… room seems to be very old and very basic.
Staff is responding and helpful.
It was a modern and clean room. We liked it. Suitable for families.
I was checked in very quickly, also the receptionist was extremely nice not only did she get my room ready quickly but also had to deal with a difficult customer.

Even though the customer was very difficult she was able to make them happy and accommodate for them.
Nice and clean room in a perfect central location of Rome. Great service and communication with owners. We had a late night check in and an early morning check out which went almost flawlessly.
Returned to a clean and fresh smelling room every afternoon. Good and comfortable beds, and an extra blanket for the always freezing wife. Extra pillows also available. Plenty of hot water and good towels.
Despite located in a busy restaurant and bar area noice wasn't a problem.
Can higly recommend this hotel and will return on a later trip.
Had a few issues with the coffee machine, but that's minor. Wi-fi didn't work but wasn't a problem as we had plenty of data on our phones.
During our family vacation in Italy we planned to stay a couple of days in Rome. We booked a family room in another hotel when we arrived at the airport in the evening through hotels.com. But the room was not available due to overbooking. After some telephone calls they managed to contact Borghese Rooms and late in the night we arrived where the responsible Marco received us. He had done a great job on short notice and arranged one room for us the first night. The next day we got one additional room. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the location is very nice and quiet, close to the Borghese Park. A common kitchen area with fridge is also available, and a light continental breakfast is offered, with juice, coffee, yoghurt and pastry etc. Marco also recommended several good restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay in Rome and in Villa Borghese Rooms.
Because I used to run my own hostel I am always looking for a top level of genuine hospitality and will hunt through reviews to get a sense of not only the quality of the facility I am looking at but who is running the show and how do they care about their guests? Never been to Rome before we bet on Marco’s place because it seemed that this host would go the extra mile to make sure his guests felt good and have the best local knowledge for food and sight seeing. This was certainly the case.

The Borghese Rooms have all been recently renovated, beds super comfortable, bathroom clean with smooth LED lighting making the shower feel like a spa. Air conditioner in the room can be dialled in to your liking, that coupled with a small fridge where you can store cold drinks makes it a perfect oasis from the intense summer heat. Top that off with some daily room service, honestly, there is nothing to complain about. At one point we were even offered an opportunity to be upgraded to a larger room but we were so at home and satisfied that we didn’t feel the need to move.

The location of the rooms is great because it is in a diplomatic area it is very safe, fewer tourists, the streets are very relaxed during the night with little noise from the street so a good night sleep is assured. Getting to all the classic sites was easy, we used public transport, stops being close by there was no issues. (However we recommend get to your bus stop early as the busses can come early as well as late so you might miss them being on time!?)

So with the above in order something should be said of our host, Marco. From the get go he helped us with a late check in as our plane arrived late and outside the check in time. He made certain we had his WhatsApp and was instantly available for any questions and directions. He helped us with tickets and his recommendations for the local place were so good it blew our minds! Marco is ready for his guests 24/7 (we were careful not take that for granted) and we cannot be more appreciative of his care and attention. Thanks again Marco you are doing a great work!

We are going to give full marks for this review but some things should be mentioned that you should be aware of. That is with the breakfast, it is only a light continental breakfast, there are some pastries provided and you can get a quick coffee or juice when needed however due to Covid restrictions Marco has had to dial back from offering any more than that so ask him for some breakfast recommendations outside of the hotel. Otherwise you can pop in to the supermarket which is literally a few doors down from the apt. and pick up what you need for your own fridge. (You can use the kitchen where breakfast is served to prepare food but apart from the coffee machine and kettle there is no cooking facilities or toaster, however plates, cups and cutlery are available)

So fellow traveller, you will be safe and comfy at Marco’s enjoy your stay in the Villa Borghese rooms!

One of the world’s most popular water fountains. Located in the historic center of Rome. Designed by Nicola Salvi and the construction was finished in 1762. It is believed that who wishes to return a visit to Rome, they have to “throw a coin” with your right hand over the left shoulder in the Trevi Fountain.
Stayed here for four nights in late November and early December of 2018. What an amazing place to stay at, and for only 1000 euros a night, you get to have a whole penthouse like apartment in Rome.

I will never stay anywhere else in Rome!!! Flavio is the best host and his team are fantastic!!! If there were more stars to give I would!! Come stay here and you will understand!! Thank you again Flavio for another great stay in Rome!!
Great location, few minutes from Villa Borghese (walking distance). Very nice room, large and clean. The host Marco was very friendly and supportive. Easy check in process. Overall this is a very good solution to visit Rome main attractions. A little bit noisy (the only reason to score 4 and not 5 stars). Recommended!
The hotel is absolutely fantastic, with modern but traditional Italian style!!! Great location, spitting distance from the Spanish Steps. Restaurants, bars, ice cream shops on your doorstep. I felt very safe even at night. The staff are very helpful and friendly with the smile. The bedroom and the bathroom were always clean. I can only recommend this hotel!

Lovely place to stay in Rome. It was strategic near Barberini metro station. And also near trevi fountain like it's name. It located near Palazzo Barberini and the area was safe. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and receptionist so helpful.

Couldn't have been any better. Really nice apartment in the middle of Roma and the rooms are very comfortable. Very nice was the host & his kind and easy way in everything. His suggestions about local spots made our trip to Roma even more italien and beautiful. Mille Grazie!

Spent last week at the Piazza di Spagna Prestige and absolutely loved it. The rooms were very clean and well maintained . The AC was bliss. Excellent location. Walking distance from the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain. Very close to the Metro, which was very easy to use. Lastly but not least , the staff were so lovely and always keen to help. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you

Good place
Right in the middle of Rome with a huuuuuuge room and bathroom. Can't believe I found this place.
My friend and I both had difficulty with our airline/flight the day we checked out. The staff there that day was very helpful to help us navigate as we don't speak Italian and helped us called the airline and cabs. Totally beyond what they are tasked to do as a host, and we are so appreciative!
I booked the double superior last month, it's quite big but nothing really special, was cold and the climate wasn't working. I found the floor of the bathroom moody. The bed and pillows are good, the service (we were the only guest there) was enough, his English was worst than mine and my Italianish is non existing but, really nice he allow us to keep our baggage in the House for hours until we leave to the airport. Breakfast was about cheese, croissants and coffee. It's well located, but if you hate uphill walks...well this might not be the place for you. Is not really hard, but after a long day of walking around Rome it's a challenge.
The room was OK and the location was very good.
The bath floor was not clean and without good ventilation for cold days.
We had a lovely stay at Trevi Fountain. Its location is amazing and within walking distance of all major sites except the Vatican which is easily reached in 20mins door to door on the Metro.

Mario was great, very professional and loafs of help with getting around and recommendations.

The room was simple, smart and clean which is exactly what we wanted and breakfast was a lovely continental choice.

Its 15mins walk from train and bus station... door is a little confusing to find but other than that a wonderful place to stay in Rome.

Great place
Beautiful clean rooms. Friendly, helpful and informative staff. The breakfasts every morning are lovely with a croissant sandwich, juice, and petite pastries. The hotel is in close proximity to the metro, Spanish steps and walking distance to most historical places. If you love to shop then this is the best location. Loved it here!

Very nice guesthouse, very kind and helpful people and a large and very complete room.

Location is good. You can walk to the historic centre in about 10 minutes, you can take the tram (5 minutes walk) to the Vatican and you can take the metro (Castro Pretorio, 10 minutes walk) to the Collosseum.

Service is great! They helped us retrieve our luggage when it wasn't put on our plane at the airport, they made very good coffee every morning and they offered us free bottles of water and free ice lollies. Surely the second was a tremendous relief when we came back late in the evening after a long day of walking in the sun!
