Maybe it's because I can from Texas but these tacos are trash. Great presentation but the less flavorful meat I have ever had. It was impressive how flavorless the meat is. I honestly had not idea you could do that. Servers are nice though.
What an amazing place! The service at the entrance did not neglect us, we waited very little to have a table, when we ordered the food, the food did not take long and it was great! The waiters were always asking us if we needed anything. The atmosphere is beautiful and the restaurant experience is complete!

The food was really good. We started with the Mexican soup and elote. Both really good choices especially the soup. I had the Salmon in avocado mousse excellent choice also very different than your usual salmon. It was a nice size piece and extremely moist. I ordered a side of cilantro rice which I could've done without. My daughter ordered the enchiladas which were also really good. We ended with the fried ice cream, which really didn't impress. Overall I highly recommend this place.

We ordered 6 different tacos between two of us and not one disappointed - The Cuba taco is hands down the best taco I’ve ever had in my life! They offer little sauces on the sides as well which is really nice to change up each bite if desired. 100% recommend, and I will be back next time I visit NYC.
Good looking place but these tacos lacked flavor. I'm mexican so I was holding these tacos to a high standard. Salsa is not spicy and the steak was very flavorless. Tortilla was OK. But almost $12 for two steak tacos is outrageous. Probably not coming back her again. But thank you for having me.

The service and vibe was excellent! Drinks were amazing, they put time and effort into each cocktail. No draft beer though, only bottles/cans. Food was pretty good but you can find much better tacos in NYC.

Got a burrito here, the food was good but I couldn't escape the feeling that I was paying quite a lot for the location and the slightly upscale digs. Service was weirdly slow, which the waiter apologized for several times. Pretty good outdoor dining spot, at least.
I’ve been to Arriba Arriba and it never disappoints. The food is always good and the portions are great. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. You can usually get a table pretty quick, however on weekend nights there’s usually a waiting time, but worth it. Highly recommend.

If you are looking to eat something quick similar to Mexican burritos with an American twist, this is the place. You can go with family or friends. The prices are good.

Loved the idea of having a menu where you check off what you want and how many of it - especially for something like tacos. Their avocado tostado was so good with the cotija cheese and the pickled onions on top - I ordered another one after finishing my first one. The black bean and sweet potato taco was also really good.

My first time at tacombi food is served right away from the grill, which made it perfect one of my favorite was the fish taco 🌮 the taste an the crispy on that fish was out of this world drink were good nothing out of normal but the experience in total was amazing
The birria tacos were pretty flavorful, BUT for the most expenaive birria tacos I've had it wasn't giving ($16 for 3).
Also, I feel that other places add a bit more to the taco like onions and a bit of pico.
Lastly, they also automatically add cheese, which I don't like or eat and they didn't tell me about it. Usually those kind of tacos don't automatically come with cheese if I'm not mistaken.

Nice little place. Excellent tacos, packed with flavor! Same kind of thing you might get from a food truck, but much more reasonably priced. As I went for lunch, service was quick. Not sure how it might be around dinner time, but it’s more of a fast food set up (order and pay), so it might be relatively quick too. Look forward to going back. Maybe tomorrow!
The food and vibe of this place is really amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious and the portion size was pretty good too. Service was a little slow but overall good experience.

Ordered some tacos to share, and $11.50 felt high for two small tacos. The barbacoa taco was tough and dry without much flavour, and the chicken taco didn't have much flavour either. The shrimp taco was good though. The three tacos were not filling enough, and for ~$22 after tax and automatic 20% tip, it was definitely not worth it

Errrrrr…. I don’t know how in the world someone make tacos taste so good?!??! Like it’s so good I had to write this while I’m eating the taco in the restaurant. Typing with my middle finger as my other two fingers are oily, had to type this now. It’s that good.
Thumbs up to the girl with the wonderful purple hair. Never have I ever gotten such a big burrito in combination with exceptional service. You’re on another level!

Found this Jem Mexican food place near World Trade Center it’s a 5-10 mins walk, where you get authentic Mexican food so flavourful and delicious. We had a starter and 2 main course for 2 pax. The started was mushroom based and it’s vegetarian loved the way cheese and mushrooms blended and it was so delicious and mouthwatering.
Highly recommend Carnitas Tacos which is pork belly based the moment I took a bite of it, it was so soft and so tasty never had so yummy and delicious pork. It’s worth the money and one plate won’t be sufficient if you love the waste

The only thing that I was surprised they didn't have the tostadas with steak or chicken. They only had a avocado tostada. I hope they add that to their menu.

Looking for a place to eat, I stopped by this restaurant at random and I'm so glad I did. Service was friendly from the beginning and while small, it can accommodate groups and it's also kid friendly with space to park a stroller and high chairs available. Food and drinks came out quick and everything was delicious. I agree with everyone that this is one of the best places for drinks. Nothing watered down here. I left totally satisfied and highly recommend this restaurant.

SOOOO DELICIOUS, I’ve been the other of their locations and I feel like the quality of the food is always top tier. I also really love that you order food in small portions because it gives you the opportunity to try different stuff. My personal favorite is the black bean and avocado tostada along with the gringa quesadilla. I think that 4-5 things is perfect to share with one other person, and you don’t break the bank either. Our waitress was also very kind and kept checking in on us. The manager also welcomed us in and wished us a wonderful day. Overall I really loved Tacombi and will definitely be coming back in the future.
Great underground (hidden) restaurant, loved the vibe here super lively! The tacos were special but the quesadilla definitely wasn’t, mushroom:cheese ratio was quite unbalanced. Definitely recommend drinks and tacos though and especially good for a weekend/Friday night 🤩

The food was good but they had limited vegan options. They don’t have substitutes but can remove the cheese. There’s a few vegetarian options. My partner had chicken quesadillas and said they were delicious. Ambience and service was 5 star. We also had a tres leches cake for desert which was very tasty.
On my last five trips to this location, twice no pico, once no guacamole, once no black beans, one no farro, once dried out and crunchy farro, and once no salsa containers for a side order. And never were there chips, also angry and rude employees. Maybe they are underpaid or overworked or poorly managed I don’t know, never had a problem at another Dos Toros location.
Chorizo quasidilas and chicken tacos were really good. Steak tacos were insanely hot (spicy) and we loved it! Great atmosphere! Didn't like the guacamole. Some sour cream and salsa for the quasidilas would have made it perfect.
Easily the best tacos I’ve ever had! You have to try the cheesy shrimp tacos, they are the bomb! Be careful with the special hot sauce they serve it with cos it’ll blow your head off but in a good way! So delicious! The place itself could possibly be the most instagramable fast food joint in NYC! 5 stars!!!
Did a stop here after a long day of walking and riding at Governor's Island. I got a pork burrito and it was delicious as well as the chip and guac. Both were fresh! I got the watermelon marg and it was a refreshing way to end the day. This place is right next to the ferry that takes you to lower Manhattan and the seating gives you a nice view of the city skyline.
A great hidden spot for some killer tacos 🌮 delicious cocktails and an absolutely wicked atmosphere! Had the absolute best time here, the staff are super cool and very fun! There’s a lot of secret charm and character hidden in this place… You just need to take the time to scratch beneath the surface!
If you love rude and inconsiderate people then this is the place for you. The reviews complaining about the people and service are real. As for the food it's quite bland. Also the guacamole was brown. Other Dos Toros locations I've been to had better food and service so just avoid this one.

Great spot for quick quality bites at great price. We got seated right away, the food was there very quickly and had an authentic taste.
One of my favorite spots in New York that very few people know about. You have to take the ferry to the Governor's Island, so it's a little bit hard to get on and off the island but once you get the boat timing down, it's 100% worth it. Unmatched views of Downtown Manhattan, great food and fairly priced.
Spend the entire afternoon on the island and bike around or just stroll.

My favorite hidden spot for tacos and margs! I really enjoyed the passion fruit Margarita and the pork belly tacos. Amazing vibe, excellent music and friendly staff. Thanks to Ashley, Ruby and James. I recommend that you make a reservation since they are usually busy.

We got there around 8:00 o'clock Thursday. My buddy was inside ordering the tacos and other stuff and I was outside grabbing the table and chairs, Serving guy comes out and shout at me what am I doing I told him I'm trying to get the table while my buddy is inside ordering food he said no because there was only two of us and there's a 4 chairs we cannot have that table. So we went inside Another guy was there and saying we cannot stay inside so we came back out we were able to save by the window outside but no chairs.

This mexican restaurant on the edge of Hudson and World Trade areas was delicious. The margarita and michelada were flavorful and refreshing. Breakfast burrito can easily feed two people. It's HUGE. Ask for the spicy orange salsa for a hot habanero salsa. It's super spicy and so good.
This place was delicious! My husband and I saw this place after going up the Empire State Bldg. We decided to go in for dinner as we were really hungry. The place looked nice, but we weren’t expecting the food to be as good. To our surprise, the food was delicious; it really tasted like real Mexican food!
My husband and I are from Mexico City but have lived in Texas for three years. We haven’t found a place as good as Tacombi, not even in Texas.
We just suggested they added desserts to their menu. We’re sure they’ll be as good as rest of their food.

Really cool vibes, we had a great time here. We came for dinner and ordered a bunch of things family style. The dessert were not to die for, but everything else was fantastic!! I specially liked their margaritas
Searched for a Mexican Restaurant nearby and this El Vez popped up. Ambiance is fantastic and the Nachos and Tacos were wonderful. Sangria’s taste was not what I expected but still fine (usually I had sweet ones) Recommend the steak taco. Desert we ordered, Waffle Chocolate Taco (I guess) was something!! Best choice for the final touch.

Planet Taco is our favorite Taco Place in New York City! The vegan, fish or pork taco are awesome and always fresh and very good! We love this place for its great food! The restaurant itself is not for extensive dining or very chic.
Delicious, authentic tacos al pastor. Reasonably priced at 3 for $12. Takeout only but there are some chairs and tables across the street, so you can enjoy the made-to-order tacos while they're fresh and hot.
I didn’t know the phrase “hole in the wall” could be a literal expression until I ate here. As we were in line, another patron (who had already ordered I might add) tried to warn us away. He was very disappointed when we did not take his recommendation and continued to order anyway, now with more worry in our hearts than ever before. Since there was no seating, we went back to our hotel to eat. The food was a surprisingly good size and they did not skimp. We dug in with conviction. To be 100% honest I was terrified this food would give us the shits—the kind that flows through you like lava. But it didn’t! Which was good because there were 6 of us sharing 1 tiny bathroom. The food itself was actually really good. I personally enjoyed the chicken burrito. Quite a scrumptious flavor. Overall a shockingly good experience with a tiny New York restaurant.

Came here for lunch at 12PM and it wasn't that crowded but it did start to fill up around 12:30/1PM. The staff were all so nice and the food was delicious! We had the chips & guac, Mahi Mahi and Shrimp tacos and the tuna tostadas. They were all super yummy and we were so full at the end of it. Would definitely come again!
Been meaning to come here for years and finally stopped for Sunday afternoon margaritas and snacks. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed terrific friendly and effecient service and delicious nachos and quesadillas. Margaritas very good. Recommend.

The delivery guys block up the entrance, street and venue that is inaccessible for people with disabilities. Especially for a mental wellness community center next door. The food is stale & stagnant like their slow service. Yet the basic customer care for all types of people who flock in the area.
Fun semi fast food Mexican joint, cousin of the one on UES. Good tacos, nice quesadilla with huitlacoche, a Mexican mushroom you don't often see. Very nice staff.. they pretty much take the order and disappear till it's ready. Street is very noisy for outdoor dining but the interior is very open and airy. Good midtown in-a-rush choice

First of the energy at this place is great, so fun and comfortable at the same time. The service is amazing and definitely top tier of places I’ve been. Moving on to the food I’m not picky but I do value a great tasting taco I highly recommend the birria, Baja shrimp and pork. (Obviously with a side of chips and guacamole!) Now for the drinks! Big portions and reasonable prices, can’t beat it. Mango margarita is my favorite, they specialize in different flavors and they all taste amazing. Overall it’s always a good time when I visit and I highly recommend.
I've been to a couple of different Tacombi's in the city, and the consistency in their food has always been great. Service is good with staff making sure your food is good and if you need another drink. Their new Birria tacos are delicious, and I would recommend ordering two orders because it'll be off your plate before you know it. Personally love their Carne Asada and Baja fish tacos and any of the drinks on their menu is a hit in my opinion.
This Mexican place was amazing. Everything we had was EXCELLENT. all the drinks, the corn in a cup, the tostada, the tacos. Get it all and enjoy. Very cool environment, decor. Super friendly staff. Very nice bar, open kitchen. I love the layout and the tile work. Strongly recommend the Corn Esquites.

Love it I've been getting take-out here for years. It just never disappoints. I love the Al Horno burrito and the juices.
If you are a Texan and are used to great Tex Mex or Mexican food, simply do not even think about ordering from here. The burritos are mostly rice (bland rice), the salsa has sugar in it…. It’s SWEET sweet. The meat has no spices on it whatsoever. This was legitimately the worst Mexican food I’ve had anywhere in three decades.
Really busy place inside - too loud for a conversation (on a Saturday night) so try and get seats outside. The food was nice if a little bland. Had the tamale, fish tacos and steak burrito. There was no heat (spice) and flavours weren't punchy. Service was friendly though and food did come quite quickly, and reasonable prices.

This is a great place for some comfort food. A hidden gem where you can have a great meal without overpaying for it. I had the birria tacos and I loved them. If come here for the gram, maybe this is not your spot but if you are looking for something authentic, stop and try it. There is no place to sit so this is something you should keep in mind. However, two blocks away there is a beautiful park with tables and chair where you can enjoy your tacos.

A hole in the wall that is a needle in the haystack ; it’s place where servings are generous, the service is warm; the husband wife team are from Ecuador and they are so easy to converse with ; they modify the order per your taste; their vegetarian burrito , vegetarian tacos and nacho bowl are fresh and flavorful and come with lemon wedges; Love the spicy red sauce and flavorful green sauce.

The service was very friendly. Our wait staff was patient with us and also made good recommendations. I really enjoyed the Mexican chicken soup, it was the perfect starter on a cold winter night. I followed it with tacos al pastor which was also very good. The guacamole and salsa was also good. My friends also enjoyed their main. For drinks we tried the watermelon margarita, wasn’t crazy about it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if u just want some good Mexican food.
You people should be ashamed to tell people you work for a company america love. This is spiteful. A eye liner tip was found in my daughter's pizza. She ate 2 slices you scumbags. I hope whoever the lazy and unhygienic person who was doing their make up while preparing food, may God Have mercy on you. Your lucky my daughter didn't eat it. I would've been there with the police. You better thank GOD.
Food was cold and stale. Fries were obviously not fresh may have taken a late pick up and used it to make up for my order idk but nahh I pay for fresh food and that wasn't it.
Super nice service. I got Three different tacos; chicken, pork, steak. I got all the toppings that were offered. And three different sauces. Everything was delicious. Price is good. And they were super courteous.

Love Taco Vista! Great spot with gorgeous views of lower Manhattan. Also super convenient as it's right where you board/exit the ferry. The drinks are on point (frozen margs, baby) and the food is delicious. Sometimes the line can be a little long, but I consider that a testament to how good it is. Also, their hot sauce is fire!

The night staff that worked the afternoon of 7/20/22. Always have a smile on their face. Super courteous and have the place clean. They're a real asset to the neighborhood.
Late night walk in the city. Cool atmosphere, very friendly, very fast, everything was freshly made even the tortillas, My hubby tried 3 tacos Chorizo, Al Pastor, Carna Asada, I chose Carna Asada Nacho's we also tried different salsas they were all great even the scary one lol 😆. We went late they were getting ready to close but they let us stay and eat while they were finishing cleaning up. 😀 A little spendy remember this place is by Time Square.

The guacamole was out of this world, super tasty, but sadly that was all the nice things I can say about this place. We had several different tacos, but we couldn't make out any different flavours from them = they all tasted more or less the same. No spiciness nor anything else fun.
The burritos were great and the ingredients stood out in terms of quality. All the food was flavorful and service was quick.
The prices are slightly on the steep side though i did feel you were getting your money’s worth in terms of quality and portions. Solid spot if you are in the area or live nearby

I will say this might be the best Mexican food I’ve had in the city. They are super fast, very affordable, kind folks. Wonderful service. I’m so excited to try other things on their menu.

Taco bell is my favorite fast food. Unfortunately, the way this specific store serve their meals doesn't honor my passion for it. Their combos are messy with different taste. Their chips are not fresh, and they serve their melted cheese not even half of the container. It is so unfortunate that they dont care to keep costumers, and they are willing to loose food's fans like me. This store is just a disappointment. I hope someone will read this to make a change soon.
I have ordered delivery through Grubhub from Al Horne a couple of times and I have had very good experiences. The food arrives on time and is warm and the shakes are still cold and very securely packed.
The burritos I have had from here are the Cactus Burrito and the Al Horno Burrito. Both were flavorful and moist.
The shakes I have ordered are the Playa Pitaya Smoothie and the Marathon Shake. Both were good but the price was a little high.

We were in town visiting family and stopped here since it was only a block away on foot. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly and fresh.
The food was amazing. Wide selection of interesting takes on tacos. My favorite was the Philly cheesesteak taco. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned well.

But the staff and the level of service and quality at this Taco Bell was so stellar and way above what I would normally expect there. I was honestly impressed.

There's Good choices here. There are lean choices but they include non lean things if desired. The portions are a good size and leftovers can be had. There's different meat choices as well as vegan and vegetarian options. The food was hot and the meat was cooked well. The ingredients come together we'll. There is plenty of option for making it spicy too if that's your gig.
Dos Toros recently catered a charity event I hosted for the Michael J. Fox foundation and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it and it helped make our event such a success. Highly recommend!
This place is super dirty and unsanitary. I don't know how do they passed their food inspection and get an A. All the food cabinet is not cover. Dining area is clean but in terms of the food pre area. They are just super un-organized and dirty. Not a recommand place.q
My go to place for lunch for a very long time. I like them because the taste suited me more as compare to Chipotle. But their hot sauce is like deal breaker for me. Really tasty and hot, the way I like.
It's a decent place to sit and enjoy your food. The burritos were little smaller compared to other places but was compact and full of ingredients.
