This isn’t a gas station lol. Not sure why I got routed here.

I would not recommend this gas station. Had a traumatic experience in this store with a white guy behind the counter, who was totally disrespectful and hostile. He was racist and condescending. Don't spend money where your disrespected! Peace

They take way to long to help their customers i waited outside for 30 mins and didn't get served so I just left I do not recommend coming here at all

Expensive I visit there once or twice. The room service was wonderful the receptionist is great.

The Sunoco Gas Station is conveniently located off Pennsylvania Ave SE in the Capitol Hill area. It has six gas pumps and a convenience store.

They recharged my air conditioner quickly on the same day that I called to make the appointment. Staff were helpful and they did follow up to check in on the service.

Racist gas station . Came today to put air in my tires and the machine only takes quarters. I took a 20 inside to ask for quarters and they refused to give me quarters. They just gave me the money back and didn’t even say anything but shook their head . How are you going to have a machine that requires quarters but then not give quarters? Disgusting place. Would not come here again and this is why Americans need to own their own gas stations.

Typical hood gas station to get your black and milds and roll up paper, it be very busy during the day and be aware of your surroundings especially in the late hours.

The location is good for me. The people inside can be testy. It's 5th and Florida Avenue so what can you expect. Four stars because they sell kerosene, and the snack section is second to none. The gas tanks seem to be new, but you may have to send up a flare to get the cashier to turn it on. It's well-lit at night but pray anyway.

Marathon is a gas station just south of Union Market and centrally located close to several major roads and highways. It's an often-busy gas station with multiple pumps, air stations for tires and vacuums that cost $1.50 in quarters for five minutes of suck. Compared to other vacuums in the area, they aren't as strong, but still get the job done

This station is pricey. Well stocked. Ethiopian family that owns it are so very nice every day.

Have been having routine maintenance and other necessary work done there for 3+ years and have had only good experiences. Work done in a timely fashion, reasonably priced (OK, it's on Capitol Hill - there's not even a target on Cap Hill), and they keep really good records. Convenient and reliable and friendly.

These MF always over charging someone when they using there debt card then say oh my bad SMH we can put the money back on the card SMH I said yes you can he act like he didn't know what to do he know they can but there not cause there stealing from the community

I trust this team with my 13 year old car. They always detail out everything that needs to be done with a timeline, price and urgency recommendation. They always notice things like the screw in my tire and fix it before I pick the car up free of charge. They also make sure my car is clean and full of gas when I pick it up. I wouldn't trust anyone else in DC with my car.

Charged me $100 dollars for $10 worth of gas. By the time Apple Pay notified me I was already long gone. I tried to call them and their phone is disconnected... will be disputing through Apple but still a trash gas station

I have been taking my cars here for about 7 years. Need I say more?! Dontae is the third service manager that I have dealt with. I must say that I do not get the negative reviews. This place is awesome! The customer service is second to none. They always fix my car the first time, unlike when I use to take it to the dealer. I never feel like I'm being overcharged or having unnecessary work done. With my previous car, a 2001, they only did what was necessary to keep her on the road, aware of the fact that I would soon be in the market for a newer model.

Did the job. Only use in an emergency or for minor issues but be careful....

They wanted me to spend $150-ish for a diagnostic test and led me to think my oil pump was bad. My vehicle was not smoking, knocking, or doing anything out of the ordinary other than the oil light coming on occasionally. I have a 2014 Mazda. Fortunately, I already had an educated guess.... They told me they ran the diagnostic for free (even though I asked them not to) and that there were no codes but the mechanic knew my oil pump ($1500 plus job) was probably bad and that he had seen oil pump failure on a Ford (which is similar) recently. He had not done an actual oil pressure test and yet gave this advice pretty confidently. I went with my educated guess. I gave him the part (I purchased up the street) for $14 and asked him to simply put it in and change the oil....which he did and for that I give two stars. If you are like me and don’t have time to wait and are in a potentially catastrophic situation, this place will at the very least do what you ask. Prices are high but most things in DC are so that’s not a big deal... I would highly recommend reading about your potential issue(s) and discussing them with other mechanics. Then go with an educated guess if you ABSOLUTELY cannot drive your car (my condition). As I said, they will at-least do what you ask. My oil light is now out and my car seems normal. Fingers Crossed. Oil change and oil sensor replacement totaled $278.00. Probably would have been $30- $50 more if I had purchased the sensor from them. If you have the time consider going somewhere else.

I live out of town and have come to trust Dante and his team. they have serviced my daughter's 2009 BMW for six years. His team does first class work and they are smart. Often they have solved issues cheaper and quicker than the dealer. Onetime finding and fixing an issue the dealer couldn't or wouldn't (probably because they wanted to replace parts enitrely) whereas Dante was able to fix the problem.He saved the day again just yesterday concerning tires. I recommend he and his team without question.

I always get my gas here because it’s good prices and close by my house. However a really nice lady (who was also pumping her gas) told me there has been a lot of car robberies lately. So if you go please make sure you close and lock your doors. I’ve also moved more police cars parked around the gas station which makes me feel much better.

I paid the attendant $20 to get gas came back and a passenger on the opposite of me was pumping from my side. When i complained to the attendant he assured me it was good and then tried to accuse me of trying to finesse gas of all things when i was only able to put $7.23 in my tank.

If you're a Safeway member, this should be your spot. We usually get 10 cents off each gallon. It's a quiet gas station with a small convenience store inside with all your gas station store needs. They also have a air station run on quarters.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Their service is truly amazing and you don't feel like you're being taken advantage of like most shops when you have to get your car worked on. My car has 225,000 miles on it so the last thing I want to do is dump a bunch of money into it. The technicians that worked on it took this into consideration and were great about making recommendations and only fixing what was necessary to get my car running again. Their prices are fair, and they are happy to explain in detail with you what's going on with your car so you have a thorough understanding when all is said and done.

The people that work there are rude and nasty they charge u whatever they want there's one man that works there that always over charges I've had to ask him to rering my stuff 3 times .Hr tried to charge me 19.10 for 1pack of cigarettes and small coke. We got into about it because I told him that was not right he didn't want to rering it until I said I was going to turn him in.my cigarettes were 7.75 and the soda was 1.89. The first time he didn't ring it up he told me the price off the top of his head when I made him rering it I said I wanted a receipt. To me everyone who works there should be fired. Its close to my house but now I walk 2 extra blocks so that I don't have to go there. Worst customer service I've ever had .I don't even want to give it 1 star....

The worst customer service I've ever seen I was there this morning I said good morning to the lady behind the glass she just stared at me I asked her for what I wanted I said Thank you when she gave it to me nothing I told her she was the rudest person I had ever met in my life and that she needed to go to a class on customer service skills they all do it has to be the worst gas station and Washington DC and I think the owner whoever owns that gas station needs to meet be made aware of how their employees Act there's not one there that is polite courteous you ask them for something and they act like you're bothering them tell me they need to have a hundred hundred Stars - a hundred times over not one of them should have a job there I advise anyone who is reading this not to go to the Hess station on Florida Avenue I would stay away from there half the time there ATM doesn't work or the machines on side don't work this week for 3 days there gasoline pumps didn't work or their credit card machine or anything if it is absolutely the worst gas station and Washington DC. This has to be the worst gas station in the city I have never seen a business run by the rudest people there's only one woman who works there who is always pleasant always says good morning but there's another woman that works there she needs to be fired. They changed the name to BP. I GIVE IT 1000 NEGATIVE ✨ STARS.

Best stroke of luck ever! I was stranded by a dead alternator just off 295 midway between NJ and VA and thankfully just minutes from Metro Motor. Greg and the guys took very good care of me and my VW Jetta. They were very attentive and mindful of a stranded customer. If I lived anywhere near them, these would be my guys! Kudos for a great (and reasonably priced) repair job and excellent customer service. Thank you!

Prices are generally lower than most gas stations within a mile and they do have working air pressure machines, unlike its neighbors. However, the lighting is not great and it sometimes has a stench.

Its dirty the ATM Machine steals money the cashiers are rude as hell and they seem to not know anything and lots of loitering

This evening Ron Moten and others were out and discovered that the King Gas Station at Mellon St. and Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., SE is still selling K2. K2 is the synthetic marijuana that is having a devastating effect on our community. We need to boycott this gas station until they stop selling this poison. But boycotting is not enough. Go to the gas station and tell them why you are not purchasing gasoline, or anything else. In addition, tell all your friends and neighbors not to support this establishment.
