Dope place to get art supplies. GF & I decided to do a home Sip & Paint date and we found everything we were looking for thanks to the amazingly helpful and friendly staff.
Will definitely be coming back again

While the convenience of shopping online is great, when shopping for art supplies I've always found it easier and more fun to see what I need and find new things doing it in person. Great variety of supplies and good selection of canvases and smaller panels. The management & staff has always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Would give 5 stars but for the relative difficulty/inconvenience in parking.

The parking situation isn’t ideal, however Blick is worth it. Great selection, and staff are all incredibly helpful and will try to assist to matter how crazy your idea without judgement! Maybe I’ll live here one day, but for now I’ll just give my business.

This store has everything! Blick Art in downtown Atlanta is an artist's paradise! From canvases to brushes, they have everything an artist could dream of. What's more, the sales are fantastic, making it possible to stock up on high-quality supplies without breaking the bank. Still my favorite art store, knowledgeable employees that are always available to help and make suggestions when you need them. Great deals and an amazing variety of crafts goods.

Staff are friendly but the store is not stocked well. If you’re looking for specific items, you’re better off choosing another craft store.

The service is always friendly and there are so many options to choose from. It has the best selection of Ampersand Art Panels that I can find. I love doing mixed media work on these panels and it is nice to have options.

Did great job custom framing som art at a reasonable price

I have been shopping here for about 20 years, through three locations, and it is always a wonderful experience. I always spend way too much even though their prices are great, because I can’t stop seeing things I want. Great selection of quality items. A+++

Tried returning a glue gun recently purchased that didn’t work. We had the receipt. Apparently they had included the wrong size glue sticks. Wouldn’t accept return because it didn’t include the original packaging. Unacceptable customer service.

The staff is always SUPER KIND AND HELPFUL! They often are artists themselves and therefore have extensive knowledge of the materials and supplies they offer. I work for a local county and our orders are often pretty large. They are always professional and patient and make you well aware that your business is appreciated. They help us to create art and change lives!! We decorated shoes using Angelus Leather Paint from Blick. We also paint with oils and acrylics.

Went from rarely being that many people in to being too many people for the store to manage. They have a greeter which is cool. However, they have someone scanning items to give you a express pass but couldn't they just get on a register? I was really irritated by that. The line was into the aisle and they have what seems to be the newest least experienced folks on the registers. I guess the business is good but now they need to declutter the store and clean the floors.

I love the mystery bags. I get so inspired to make a piece of art every time i get one. Such a fun surprise. Love everything about this place!

I went to the Blick Art store for the first time today and I had to write a review. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. I want to give a special thanks to Lydia and my cashier (whose name I wish I knew) for making a bad day better and lifting my spirits. Lydia helped me find materials to start my art drawing journey, and the cashier showed genuine interest in my well being. Thank you to the Blick staff for an amazing experience. I will be back to this store.

This location I believe carries most of what you'd find at any other locations, being stocked well-enough to satisfy whatever arts and crafts projects you have. Where this location falls short is its awfully rude and at times invisible staff.

I've seen some bad customer service in my life, but good lord does this place take the cake and throw it in your face.

We've been twice: the first time we needed help finding a product that the website said they had in stock, but we couldn't find anyone to help us at all. There was one employee at the register, but they were dealing with a massive line of customers. We ended up finding what we needed in a random aisle that had absolutely nothing to do with the product. The second time we went, same situation, but we found an employee who treated us as if she couldn't believe we had the audacity to walk into her store and ask her a simple question, huffing and puffing about it only to be no help whatsoever. Then, at the registers, they at first had one lane open. An employee opened up the second one and called up whoever was next in line. We assumed it was us, as the customer that WAS in front of us had already sat their stuff down at the counter of register 1 for scanning. We got to register 2, and the employee told us, "I didn't mean YOU. I said, 'NEXT in line, and that isn't you." Sure, whatever. I apologized anyway to avoid an escalation (she gave me an eyeroll), only to have the customer that had already went to register 1 high-tail it behind me, call my wife and I rude for cutting him, and tell us we weren't sorry at all. Like, seriously? We didn't say anything to him and just left as soon as we paid.

If you like rude customers and bothered employees, this Michaels is just for you!

Smaller selection but has about every size of sketchbook you could need. Staff is always very friendly and nice.

This craft store is a creative haven with a wide array of supplies and inspiring DIY kits. The staff is friendly, though more expertise would be appreciated. Prices are fair, and while some items were out of stock, the overall experience was positive. Perfect for craft enthusiasts!

I love Michael's in general...but compared to other Michaels in the area, it was not stocked well and the store was unappealing. I will not be going back, but the staff was pleasant.

Take a look at the Northlake Michael's and it feels like two completely different worlds.

Very large supply of painting and drawing tools some basic sculpting kinda wish they had more but the clearance rooms are really cool idea with the grab bag set prices.

They were needing a little more restocking, but this was my first time in a Michael’s store at all. I usually go to hobby lobby but Michael’s could be a nice replacement or fill in

The place looked really good I'd say, I didn't buy anything but my friends did and they got what they came there for, and it seems like this place just kinda has all the art stuff you need but I'm not an artist so idk if everything was there or not. But it did have silly little stickers and croc thingies so cool i think.

I love shopping at this Blick the customer service is excellent. Everyone who works here is enthusiastic and helpful and I can always find what I want. I even got some help carrying some big canvases out to my car. Out of all of that art supply stores I have shopped at I find the people who work here to be among the best!

Super helpful staff. This place has everything you’ll need for any common art form at the best prices. They also have a lot of materials for less common art forms.

Excellent arts supply store. Been shopping here for years, but not in Atlanta. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Was a very good experience. I will definitely be back.

They had the sleeves for art I was looking for, in an array of sizes!

Ok. So I was happy they were open on Memorial Day weekend on Monday but honestly staff didn’t know anything about materials or where they are in the store. I mean they know absolutely nothing about art supplies unlike blick who are very informative on materials and employees know the store. Unfortunately blick was closed, so I had to deal with them. I do not recommend.

I called the store to get the exact location and to find out if they had the art bags that I needed. Jona took a couple of minutes to go check the shelves. When he returned to the phone he confirmed that he had the bags that I needed. Jona also provided information regarding the nearby parking.

Upon my arrival, a very friendly clerk directed me to the area where the bags I needed were located.

The store was neat and the areas that I perused were well stocked. It took me less than five minutes to get what I needed, pay for it, and return to my car.

Everything from the staff to the selection of art supplies is stellar. I’m a beginner when it comes to painting and the staff (shout out to Norman) were so helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and even gave me some paint recommendations for starting out. Really appreciated their attentiveness and kindness. Great experience and will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely wonderful place! I accompanied a friend here who is more into the arts than I am. We both agreed that the prices here are fantastic and it’s a cute little place to look around! I highly recommend coming here. The employees are super nice and friendly!

I have recently discovered this store and can’t get enough! They have wonderful prices, sales all the time, and a 20% student discount! I learned today that they’re dog friendly, too! Small business, friendly customer service, huge selection for all budgets. Seriously, I’m going to spend all my money here.

Most Michael's are the same as far as what they carry. The thing that sets them apart is the employees. Are there employees on the floor? Are they helpful? Do they even smile? Well the employees at this store were great.
The Michael's is located at a shopping center that has a Home Goods, Office Depot, Ross and Marshall's as well as others. There is plenty of parking.

This place is awesome. The store itself is bight and airy, so it was easy to linger for some time and check out all the stuff. You'll want to buy something even if you can't draw or paint. And if you can, it's like a fun house. Their pricing didn't seem ridiculously high either. Staff were friendly, laid back, kind of hands off but attentive when needed. Great place.

I’ve been shopping here since I was in college, when it was called Utrecht. Now that I’m a working professional I still go here. This is the best place for painters and illustrators to find a variety of materials at great values without shopping online. They get a lot of high demand products that are hard to find. They let you test a lot of the pens and the staff is superb!!!

I love this place. I found a lot of photography related items ie cotton canvas, mats, backdrops and the like. The top floor has a HUGE sale on frames and this particular Sam Flax has a custom framing service. The prices are competitive. I give sam flax 4 stars. The staff seemed bored and it nearly felt like we were bothering them with basic questions.
