very nice pool—clean, well-maintained, with decent food, friendly staff, and even a slide. the only real issue? the kids. my mom paid 900 dollars since we aren’t from paramus so that my stepdad, her, and i could enjoy the pool, and my friend spent 20 bucks for a guest pass. but instead of relaxing, we were relentlessly harassed for no reason by a large group of (probably) middle school boys and girls we don’t know. they followed us around the pool, ruined my friends hair, splashed us purposely trying to get our makeup off, insulted us; calling us ugly and making fun of our makeup, telling me to go on a diet, etc-and this went on the ENTIRE time we were there. it got so bad that my friend, who has a brother with autism, was in literal tears because they mocked her, calling her autistic. honestly i wanted to cry too as someone who suffered from an eating disorder in the past, being called fat really bothered me.

we reported them to the managers, and while the kids were reprimanded, i genuinely believe they should have been asked to leave. to make matters worse, when we confronted the main bully’s parents, the mother didn’t care about how her “lovely daughter” was behaving. in fact, another family member even laughed at us and high-fived the child, congratulating her for her disgusting behavior.

it wasn’t just us. i also saw another group of kids splashing at older ladies, who were visibly upset. when the ladies asked them to stop, the kids only escalated the splashing, and it was clear that the ladies had no idea who the kids were. also, another huge group of kids were causing trouble at the lunch area that the poor two girls working there had to deal with.

honestly, the pool itself is great, but the behavior of these kids? it’s unacceptable. i love kids and i work w them all the time, i didn’t even mind the splashing or getting followed at first and just ignored them bc ik how kids are (annoying), but the bullying that came after was just horrible. management really needs to enforce stricter rules with them because it’s not fair for paying guests who spend a FORTUNE to be able to enjoy the pool to have their day ruined and get body shamed and bullied to tears by a group of kids. while i’ve usually had a good time there, this particular experience left my friend and me upset.

i will probably not return for the rest of the summer to avoid encountering those kids again and my family will not be purchasing a membership for next summer.
Just another day out with the family. Coming to this place it looks like one of the churches Robert Langdon had to find at the end of the path of illumination. The place is pretty big though it has a volleyball court, a playground with swings, kiddie pool area with sprinklers. There was a diving area and no diving area even though kids were diving into the pool anyway. I do have to give kudos to the two girls manning the Cafe Grill though. The were taking orders, prepping and cooking and serving the food to tables ,with just two of them. The food honestly was nothing special though. The pizza wasn't saucy enough and dry. The drinks were decent but it needs a signature menu item for that type of crowd. I know my kids loved and as did my wife but me I thought it was ehhhh decent.
What an awesome place to bring the family. There's something for everyone with a selection of pools, fun water slides, sprinklers and more. Comfy picnic area fully covered. Refreshments to buy. I highly recommend it here.
Lots of lawn space, multiple pools, many choices at the snack bar, friendly staff, ample parking space, membership available to out-of-towners... we love Paramus pool!
My daughter is part of the Crestwood Cruisers dive team. When on July 5th, we went there on a dive meet, the lifeguards not only sent us home, they were also rude about it. They yelled, “Crestwood, go home!” If the ‘powers above’ demand we are sent home, they can at least be polite about it. Anyway, does it really matter if the kids aren’t from Paramus? It doesn’t matter how good the equipment is if not all children are allowed on it.
Clean, great people, atmosphere is fun for the kids. Even better when you have a great group of friends to share the experience with. High dive and slide is an awesome touch for adults and kids.
Great pool. Had something for everyone. My kids, ages 4-13 had something age appropriate to do! Ping pong, cornhole, playground, splash pad, slide, diving boards, etc. Snack stand had some good choices as well. Cash free, so bring a credit card.
Great place to have a summer time^^ Wide and cean.
