Just another day out with the family. Coming to this place it looks like one of the churches Robert Langdon had to find at the end of the path of illumination. The place is pretty big though it has a volleyball court, a playground with swings, kiddie pool area with sprinklers. There was a diving area and no diving area even though kids were diving into the pool anyway. I do have to give kudos to the two girls manning the Cafe Grill though. The were taking orders, prepping and cooking and serving the food to tables ,with just two of them. The food honestly was nothing special though. The pizza wasn't saucy enough and dry. The drinks were decent but it needs a signature menu item for that type of crowd. I know my kids loved and as did my wife but me I thought it was ehhhh decent.
The store is kept clean and the staff is professional. I've been shopping there for years and I have always found the TV, laptops and devices I needed at a half decent price. My only issue is that the Roku TV's in stock are too expensive.
This place I recently went to withy kids for a day out with them and just chill with my wife. I did like the whole monster theme of the place. There was no mind blowing attraction that made this place stand out to me. My kids had fun playing golf but they didn't have food which to be honest is usually overpriced anyway but hey kids get hungry and thirsty fast. The staff was fairly friendly but overall the place seemed a little small for me. It's a good in the middle of the day type of place but not Friday night Saturday birthday party for the kids type of place I feel.
I brought my daughter there for her birthday with two of her friends. I was kinda on a time crunch since we had to be back home by a certain time. The guy at the register took forever helping a big party before us and it seemed that no other staff members were there to help. After what seemed like a half hour of waiting we finally bought our tickets. The food was waaaay too expensive to be just finger foods, but the kids were hungry after jumping on the trampoline. The place is pretty big but again not enough staff on to accommodate everyone there without long wait times. The kids had fun and my wallet is lighter so there goes that. Overall a decent time.
I'm glad the library has opened backup to the public. My daughters needed a place to go that wasn't around food or toys. I'm also glad the library has gone to remove fines for local books. I'd wish I took advantage of reading more when I was their ages. Plus taking them gives me time to spend with them and memories.
