Great place to have a meal
Sehr schön und tolle Gegend
Amazing place. As someone scared of heights who could not use air balloon, I really appreciate this place. Entrance fee is 10 turkish liras. Phenomenal view, balloons get really close here! Recommend that everyone comes here! 😍
The best viewpoint we visited. It’s worth being there just before sunset when the daylight still illuminates the mountains, and at the same time, thousands of lights sparkle in the city. There is a small fee for entry.
Magnificent view: The only problem was the photographers. They have no respect for tourists. They don't understand that this tourist paid money and flight to reach this destination. They kept telling us to move away to take photos for turkish girls half naked. One of them said the girl feels cold 🥶 move away. As if we told her to be half naked in november..
Eigentlich ein wunderschönes Plätzchen mit einem fantastischem Panoramablick aber dieser Blick ist mit Vorsicht zu geniessen wenn man etwas trinken möchte. Vorab, ich habe nicht nach dem Preis gefragt und bestellte einen türkischen Kaffee. Ich dachte, soviel würde der kleine Kaffee schon nicht kosten. Aber im Nachhinein wurde ich eines besseren Belehrt. 100 TL für einen kleinen Kaffee...Wer hier etwas konsumieren möchte, VORHER NACH DEM PREIS FRAGEN. Sonst ist es eine reine Abzocke
Eine Fahrt mit dem Ballon, hoch über den Boden schwebend.
Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis.
Man muss morgens sehr früh aufstehen, wir wurden um halb 5 mit dem Bus (VW Crafter) abgeholt und zum Startplatz gebracht. Da es um die Zeit recht frisch ist und später , wenn der Ballon hoch oben ist auch, sollte man entsprechend gekleidet sein. In den Korb steigt man über eine Leiter rein.
Der rechteckige Korb ist in 2 x 3 Fächer unterteilt (dicke Stahlstreben) in jede Einteilung sind dann 4 Passagiere.
Nach einer Sicherheitseinweisung geht es dann langsam noch oben.
Ansagen erfolgten in englischer Sprache, auch mal türkisch. Der Ballonfahrer versteht seinen Job einwandfrei, einschließlich Spaß für seine Gäste. Ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis, sollte bei keinem Kappadokien Urlaub fehlen.
Der Preis lag in unserem Fall bei 150€ pro Person für die rote Route. Die große Anzahl an Ballons ist gut organisiert. Es gibt diverse Strecken, die farbliche Bezeichnungen haben und die kann man dann entsprechend wählen bzw. buchen. Gelandet wird auf einem anderen Gelände direkt auf dem Anhänger für den Korb. Das Aussteigen erfordert dann wieder etwas Beweglichkeit, da man wieder über den Korbrand steigen muss. Ein tolles Erlebnis mit einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang 🌄.
Wir waren an einen Donnerstag Mitte September bei klarem Wetter unterwegs.
Der Busfahrer brachte alle Gäste zurück in ihre jeweiligen Hotels, so dass wir kurz vor acht zurück waren.
Gebucht wird im vorraus in einem der vielen kleinen Verkaufsbüros. Die Preise variieren. Die Hotels vermitteln auch ( mit Provisionsaufschlag)

This place is amazing! Went to this place for sunset and sunrise and was in love with the views. Sunrise is much better of course due to the hot air balloons flying around :) Bear in mind that you have to pay a small entrance fee of 10 liras when entering a territory by foot. There is an option to reach this place by your own car for a few too.
We really enjoyed dinner at this place. The food was good, the way they serve some meals is really cool (they served us one meal in a clay pot on fire).

Wanted to try the Pottery Kebab and tried Old Cappadocia. One of the best food decisions I made in Turkiye! The presentation was superb and the lamb kebab was tender and full of flavour. An absolute delight. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!
Aussichtsplattform bei der die Aufsteigenden Ballons mit dem Sonnenaufgang beobachtet werden. Eintritt kostet 10 TL. Definitiv zu empfehlen

We were recommended other overpriced places. Passed here decided to try it. The food was awesome, priced reasonably and the service was great. The staff were very attentive. A+
Is a must visit if you stay at Goreme. No matter during winter or Summer , Autumn or Spring, all year beautiful. There is picture and video attached during day and night. Now they have build a toilet on top. Of course the convenience store selling fresh juice and wine as well. There is bench you can have sit and relax enjoy the beautiful view. In the morning the balloon always tend to flower over this sunset/sunrise point, it get very close up, you can say hi to the people who fly the balloon and the pilot. There is entrance fees you need pay at 10tl, but at night when i went there is no fees.
Beautiful views and wonderful Turkish breakfast. But beware of this place and make sure you get the prices up front. I stupidly sat and let them bring me food without stopping them to ask how much it would cost. They never showed me a menu or asked what I wanted, and charged me 250 TL for a simple Turkish breakfast. Again, my fault for letting them scam me, so I just want to give others a heads up.
We just watched the views from the top. It's great place for seeing the valley's gorgeous views.
Food was average, they only cook the meat when you order so rice and chips come cold. Needed to get them to reheat it. Food cost was expensive, however, everywhere in goreme is expensive.
Amazing view point where you can just get a drink, sit here and wait for the sunset. Walking distance from the town. You can cut through to the other end that leads to Goreme Open Air Museum.
Great restaurant. We were received by Chef Berkan, and we chose a beef burger and a chicken sandwich, and it was served with fries. The place is intimate and warm, the food is delicious, and I liked the place
I thought it would be difficult to find good food in Goreme, but this was very good! The typical turkish dishes. Not a big menu, but more than enough! Good location and very cozy interior. Very friendly staff. We come again for sure

Amazing food, quantity is great and taste is amazing! One of the best restaurants around the city centre. 2 of us had ordered wraps and Pizza, quantity was so much that we couldn't complete, that said the prices were very reasonable. Must visit for the experience of taste!
