Little dock with lookout 👀 views and spots to sit & chill 😎

I recommend visiting this viewpoint during sunset. I go here once in a month, breathe in fresh air and relax.

Beautiful view at downtown Vancouver. I wish there were more things to do around here though, especially with dogs.

Lonsdale Quay is the biggest downtowny style land mark of North Shore.
The combination of restaurants, bars, sea bus, market place and the view of down town makes this place a pleasant spot for hanging out with friends and visitors from other cities.
At nights a walk on the pier will get you closer to downtown and a really nice view of the canada place and city lights.
Tap and Barrel and Joey are the two biggest casual bar-restaurants good for night dates or hanging out in the weekends. The shipyard play ground is converted to a ice skating rink during winter and a splash pool for kidos during summer. There are a few coffee shops there too if you’d like to walk around seeping on your coffee.
During summer, they typically have live music and drink free areas.
So if you’re visiting the North Shore stopping by Lonsdale Quay is definitely recommended.

One of my favourite places in Metro Vancouver. I always feel inner peace while sitting in the little plaza.

Nice place to spend time. Lovely views.

A beautiful place to hangout with your friends, family or anyone. Ideal location to celebrate an occasion or even for spending time away in peace, loved it ❤️

Perfect place to watch sunset. If you’re planning to stay there for a while then jacket or coat are much needed. It could get quite brezzy

This is a prime location to bring your visiting guests, many restaurants, cafes, farmers markets, Friday Shipyards Night Market, live music, and a spectacular view of downtown Vancouver. Or, if you are a photographer, you will be amazed at this opportunity. Magic hour is magical.

15mins boat ride.
Great experience. Beautiful place.
Great experience. Beautiful place.

Small dock and a pier in front of water front park! Often see seals swimming around. It is located between the quay and the mosquito creek marina.

Nice stroll and great view of downtown Vancouver! It is located in the middle of shipyard with many eateries and shops nearby.

Under construction right now but still lots of eateries and gift shops are open! Nice to sit outside and see a seabus go but can get busy with bus terminal traffic.
If you want to sit around and relax, you can go to the shipyard area where more seatings and stores are available. Or go to waterfront park where you can find large green area and playgrounds. Both are within minutes of walking distance.
Great view day and night year around. This is the place you can visit often and enjoy every time.

Easily accessible by Sea-bus from Waterfront station (Downtown), a gateway to North Vancouver. One can get a good view of Vancouver Skyline from this viewpoint. A good place to relax on a cloudy day!

Cute little spot for a break but really a look out. The view is limited due to boats and buildings.
But the flowers and the mini river is beautiful and has a calming effect.
Go and have a look and take few minutes to relax before you keep walking!
Don’t expect a panorama view though !

The Burrard Dry Dock Pier in North Vancouver is a charming and picturesque spot to enjoy waterfront views and a relaxing atmosphere. The pier's history as a former shipyard adds a unique touch, giving visitors a glimpse into the area's maritime heritage. It's an ideal place to take a leisurely stroll, watch the boats sail by, or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Burrard Inlet and the surrounding mountains. With plenty of benches and seating areas, it's perfect for a peaceful moment of reflection or to capture stunning photographs. Whether you're a local or a visitor, the Burrard Dry Dock Pier is a delightful destination that offers a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle.

Beautiful place for an evening stroll and watch the sunset with the downtown view! 👌 Lots of small businesses and fun activities during summer months. 😊 Restaurants and cafe options as well! 😁

Nice dock tied up here to go to the quay, swell from the sea bus was noticeable. I would recommend big fenders if more than 30 min.

Well maintained trail. It is easy to get to the falls. Parking is not convenient during busy hours.

Great view and not crowded at all.

Nice view of the first peak and 3rd peak

a great little hideaway if you can find it.

On a nice day, this is a beautiful place to visit, especially relaxing on weekdays. Walk along the dock; enjoy the water view; lounge, read, socialize… at one of the many outdoor seating areas; bring children to play at the shipyard’s playground; visit the market… My daughter, grandson and I had a very enjoyable time there.

Winter wonderland

Such a beautiful trekking for beginners. It’s easy and not too long but the view when you got to the top is stunning 😍

Beautiful views!

Amazing waterfalls that you can only get to by water. Well worth it. Vancity Adventure

This was also apart of my field trip

Amazing view. 40-50 min hiking and an incredible view at the view point.

A great waterfront pier to have a walk and watching the stunning downtown view and sunset. There are also lot of restaurants, coffee shops and food court. The best place to bring your family and friends.
I captured some gorgeous fireworks pictures last week at this pier.
The Fleet Weekend returns to the pier again in May 2023.

Seen from the Harbour Cruise The ship gets right close to get spectacular views

beautiful

One of my favourite places in the region. The views are great and being surrounded by the water is just wonderful. It's fun to see the SeaBus come in every now and then.

Very nice view to lion’s gate bridge and Stanley park if no foggy.

Great spot to stop and capture some scenic photos

I hike to this peak multiple times through the ski season while my kids are skiing at seymour. It is well marked with poles. Stick to the marked trail and you will be fine. Depending on snowfall, snowshoes may be necessary but usually I just wear the spikes on the bottom of my snow boots and only once have not made it. Took me about 2 hours each way from the parking lot. Lots of elevation gain.

The gate is 7am to 8pm until the resort opens. The dog mountain trail is well marked with lots of beautiful scenery.

Excellent sea view. Have public washroom.

Beautiful trail. Fairly easy, because of the erosion around, you will need to step around tree roots but that's actually quite fun. Took us 1.5 hour to get to viewpoint and 1 hour back to packing lot. Would love to come here again in winter!

This is a great place to using as a meet-up place as the gazebo is hard to miss. It’s also a nice shady spot for a rest either pre or post hike/run/ride/roller ski/etc/etc. If you’re riding a mountain bike and heading out of the demo forest, it’s also the first of two fun little drops. Enjoy!

Located at the foot of Waterfront Park, Goldsworthy Pier is the smallest of the docks. This floating dock has limited space making it an ideal moorage option for locally based recreational vessels, and is suitable for small boats up to 11m in length. Moorage is permitted free of charge for up to 3 hours, on a first come first serve basis.
I still do not know why but it seems to be used frequently as a site for weddings photos and ceremonies. It is a rather peaceful place to enjoy lunch with a nice shadow.

All sorts of stunning in the winter. A wild hike followed by a breathtaking view. 🙏🏽

This peak is in the back country and should not be visited unless you are fully equipped with the ten essentials and have avalanche training. It may be close to Seymour, but accessing this area unprepared could be deadly. Always check updated snow and weather conditions before going.

Lovely spot to paddle past while on a trip up the Arm. There is a much smaller waterfall just before it on the trip back from Granite Falls, which we had initially mistaken for Silver. If you encounter the same one, keep paddling, the bigger one is just past! Lots of seals about the area as well, you can observe them from a safe distance with a nice camera zoom :)

Great hike with breathtaking view at the top. Make sure to wear good shoes as you need to manoeuvre through tree roots, rocks and mud.

Dock with a bench and a place for temporary boat mooring. Has a view across the harbor

Make sure you look at the jellyfish in the water. I guess they like the fresh water.

Amazing spot to visit. Be aware that the land is privately owned. The great thing is you can enjoy a great view of the falls from the water.

This is a beautiful water fall set in to a tiny alcove. In a small boat or kayak you can nose right into here for a surreal experience. Very cool stop if you are heading up the Arm
