A great spot to relax and recharge after a long, busy week. The toilets are equipped with hot and cold water, a much-appreciated feature during cold weather. The campsite is spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Sensational experience, family friendly spot with ample amenities, proper toilets, showers with hot water, bbq and very smooth drive and parking area. The highlight is the walk up to the waterfall and the small to medium pools to chillax, the water is very cold but worth a dip. Very picturesque walks at any time but if you are an early riser (especially winters), you are in for a feast for your senses.
P.s. You don't really need a 4WD, not even if you have to go slightly off the road, as the ground around is solid and it doesn't get overly muddy when wet. I was in a low coupe and had no issues.

A well-maintained campground in a lovey part of Namadgi. Some great walks nearby including an 11km return through a section of the Australian Alps walk (easy) and then up to Booroomba Rocks (moderate, steep).
Plenty of great sites and a couple not-too-bad compost toilets.

Very easy to book and get to. Clean grounds and well looked after. Dog and family friendly.

Always like it here. Well maintained sites and excellent fire pits. Great walks nearby and lots of wildlife

very nice spot with toilets, hut and electric bbq machine ,close from canberra quite place , hiking trails , if weather is good you will get chance to see a lot of stars at night time

A great spot between the nature reserve and the national park, right beside Gibraltar Creek. Perfect for a quiet stay in nature, getting up close to birds and kangaroos. Only two sites are really suitable for camper trailers and small caravans at the top. If you go too far turning can be tricky. Bookings are online and very reasonable. Woos Reserve is not far from the southern parts of Canberra. There are two clean amenities blocks, one with 3 minute timed hot showers. There are also a couple of walks starting at the campground and plenty of bbqs and picnic tables.

Beautiful little spot with nice camp spots, toilet blocks and showers. Pretty little creek. Dog friendly. Went out on a Saturday and wasn't too busy at all. Nice clean bbqs and seating areas too. The only thing that might improve this spot for me anyway, would be some sort of playground or climbing gym for kids, But it's camping so not a big deal as they do find things to do with a bit of encouragement 😉

Just drove there to see how it looks like once. Seems pretty decent site.
I guess there should be several great hiking tracks nearby according to the comments. We took a look and left as my kid is too young for hiking. Will definitely come back spend a night or two.

Good camping ground, I bike pack and the road out there is a tiny bit tricky but otherwise the grounds themselves are well maintained with good quality facilities and I love the stream that passes through it. Really tranquil

A family favourite. We've come back here over and over again through the years.
Lots of history and plenty of rocks and sisters for the kids to explore.
The walk up to Booroomba Rocks is great, although it's 11km round trip from the campsite. You can cut it down to 2.5km if you drive to the car park.
Very well with seeing the view. Pro tip: take the path to the right about 10m before the end of the trail marker. This will take you to Ed's Chair, which is a much more spectacular view.

Great base for exploring Tidbinbilla, nearby Gibraltar Falls and the further-afield Namadgi National Park. A ranger comes by to check on campers, so make sure you have a legit booking.
Campground has toilets (incl. toilet paper), fire pits, communal covered BBQs, showers and wash-up areas.
Bring own firewood, kindling, etc.
It’s not the “prettiest” campground – the creek isn’t within view of your campsite, and you’re ensconced in a small valley with not much to look at except trees and other cars.
But the facilities are good, and the creek is just a short walk away when you fancy a dip in the cold water.
You can also tackle the 40-60min uphill slog to Gibraltar Falls, or get in your car and drive up to the falls (or other sites/walks, as we did).

You can see kangaroos. The sound of the waterfall is so soothing. You have toilets, campfire place, table, seats and allocated area to set your camp. The waterfall is at short walking distance. Even if it’s summertime get plenty of blankets and winter clothes

Great spot! Only people with online bookings were allowed at the campgrounds. Facilities of fire pits, bbqs, toilets. Firewood is not provided, please bring your own. Bins are not provided. Toilets were not good. However, best for relaxing, you can go hiking at the top and enjoy rainwaters. Amazing views!

Best campground my fiancé and I have been too, we made the biggest fire to keep warm and all the camp sites are within a decent distance from each other so your not feeling all cramped up. Toilets were pretty feral and there’s no service but apart from that the bush walks are nice. Well defs be planning a trip here next year 😉

Possible the best camp site in ACT so far I had been.
Quite with good surroundings

Clean well working facilities.

If you are looking for quiet, secluded, just a drop toilet camping, this is for you. No mobile phone reception. Great place to sit and watch a fire. Very dark at night!

We haven’t stayed - but checked it out ... book in and lock the gate behind you - drop Loos and immaculately maintained camp grounds

Amazing little camping ground with quiet and remote area surrounded by beautiful big eucalyptus trees. Historic site as well due to being a previous interment camp for Italian prisoners during world war 2. Has got a little river running through it with clear water. Working fireplace in there too. Highly recommended also relatively quieter.

Beautiful campground next to a river and a quick drive from Canberra's south. Has showers, toilets and sink for washing up. Fees apply. Walking distance to Gibraltar Falls.
