Love every dish we had! Croque monsieur , duck terrine & saucisson. The duck terrine was the favourite! The side salad was nice too👍croque mon was not soggy. The filling was thickly layered, so it was a satisfying meal by itself. Saucisson was not overly salty n was moist enough, thus it could be enjoyed on its own.

Great coffee and food. Some unique dishes which tasted great.

I love the fresh baguettes, seems like an authentic french bakery/cafe, loved the croissant, quality coffee and great service by turbo charged waitress. I will definitely be back 👌

This restaurant was recommended by friends. They said the Friday night dinners were special, so I booked a birthday dinner for my husband. The food was very nicely presented and the fillet steak was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice with soft music in the background and the temperature just right. The waitstaff were friendly and personable. We were more than happy to leave a generous tip. We would be happy to recommend the restuarant to friends.

We shared a platter of beautiful items: roasted Camembert with rosemary, French gherkins, sour dough baguette, figs in syrup, terrine, goats cheese, French spicy sausage. Most delicious and plentiful. The coffees were very good flavour and temperature. Service was friendly and efficient.

Croissants are so crispy, especially I love French toast with strawberries. Cakes are also good.

Amazing food ! Had the shroom toast and it’s to die for. We also did try the avocado toast , lemon coconut tart, tiramisu tart and all of it is crazy. We visited this place twice in a 4 day stay for breakfast !

Had brunch there last weekend. Food was amazing. Eggs Benny cooked to perfection. Warm croissant was the best I’ve tried so far. Will be back again next time.

Went there on a Saturday morning and it was such a busy cafe!
Had the famous Benny croissant and partner ordered something similar with sourdough.
They were both normal cafe level good but nothing so special.
The almond croissant was big and dense, and the most expensive croissant I’ve ever had. Maybe my expectations were too high cause I don’t think the almond croissant is as good as all the reviews I’ve read.
Overall a good cafe but definitely overpriced in my opinion.

A good amount of seating inside and outside. Outside is cooler, inside can get a little stuffy.

Coffee was good and service is prompt. We loved both the avocado and mushroom tartine and the salmon croissant roll. Both absolute delights. The tartine balanced the goats cheese perfectly with the mushrooms, avocado and egg. The salmon croissant roll was a little saltier but still very well balanced.

Food was good all round we'd go a 7.5 out of 10. Very loud atmosphere as quote busy. Customer service from a you lad was full of sass and not overly helpful. Waitress was lovely and super helpful.
Would go back for pastry / cakes but probs not rush back to dine in.

We came here breakfast and ordered the famous double baked almond croissant, it was very tasty and was crunchy and sweet and paired with a cappuccino was excellent! I had the egg and bacon croissant, it was good but the eggs was a little undercooked and I almost vomited and the bacon was stringy, but that was average. My mate had that almond croissant he liked it then I got it for desert like I mentioned it the beginning, overall it’s pretty good their coffee was good, maybe next time try adding fly screens, cook the eggs a bit longer and make the bacon less stringy, but thanks for breakfast!

Staff here were super friendly. The venue is quite large but gets super busy, but when the place is this popular, the food must be good. The portions here were quite large and we all left very full. The most popular dish seemed to be the Eggs Benedict in a croissant :)

The 9yr old behind the counter taking orders might appear cute at first. But when the hot beverage gets served in a chipped cup and 30minutes after ordering. No plate so no where to put the teabags. Not everyone likes strong tea. No sugar on tables or teaspoons. I had to get up 3-4 times to get what I needed to eat and drink what I’d paid for. Eggs overdone on two of our dishes today. We ordered poached eggs. Not hard boiled eggs. Sourdough was barely toasted. Tables took forever to be cleared. Suggest they give table numbers when orders are taken. Two of us on a table ordered straight after each other. One of us finished before the others food even arrived. Also suggest the child working there wears footwear. Walking around barefoot is not a good look and bad OHS. Is a 9yr old even allowed to work? Taking work from other people who actually have bills to pay. Will not be back

Really bad experience, the wait was 45 minutes. The server could of told us that before we ordered. Once we finally got our meal the bacon was raw and the toast wasn’t even toasted. Don’t waste your time, go to cheese me baby and get a toastie, twice as fast and twice as good also half the price 😂

Love the styling of the place and staff. Even the locals had a good chat with a couple of them. Great place to enjoy with company or solo.

Pretty cool space to stop by for a coffee, which, by the way, was very good. However, when it comes to service... My husband, trying to give a shot at something new, asked for the vegan cheese, but not the cashier or the manager had an idea what this was made of...and did not show willingness to at least go and find info. If you have 8 options for sweets, it would be a good policy service to memorise some characteristics of your own menu... It's not a great deal. Later another person approached us to let us know about the vegan cheese. Maybe we'll try it next time. Cheers.

We ordered the brekkie wrap is so nice and wrap is so nice crispy outside and also soft texture.

Absolutely 💯 fantastic Hazelnut Latte with the perfect balance of Hazelnut and Coffee which can easily not work. The White Chocolate and Raspberry Muffin was so perfect with crumbs falling off which is nice and light as you can see 👀. Highly recommend and will return here one day as I am not local. PS. Sorry ate most my muffin before I took this photo 😅 was too delicious.

Nice enough breakfast with a good range of choices. Unfortunately, even though the food came out quickly after ordering, it was quite cool. The other thing which grates a bit was the prices for "extras" $6 for bacon, $2 to have eggs scrambled instead of fried.

On the plus side, staff were fantastic.

The baguette was nice and fresh, and very filling. The salmon pie was beautiful. We’re were pleasantly surprised at the quality and amount of fish you get. It was almost an entire fillet of salmon between two slices of puff pastry with a wonderful cream sauce. The snails were also great, perhaps slightly salty but it was perfect with some bread.

Coffee was ok, perhaps had a slightly burnt flavour but the food and service more than made up for it. Would be keen to return to try the breakfast and dinner menus!

The cabinet food we had was delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend to others. Friendly staff as well.

Super dog friendly. Loved the puppy board with biscuit and pupacino ❤️ healthy benny was amazing. Highly recommend the kalenaise 🤤 kids were extremely happy to see some waffles on the menu and devoured them. Lovely spot, thanks guys.

Great laid back friendly atmosphere at this well established cafe. Situated close to the ocean at Nobby Beach with indoor & outdoor seating & great food in a rustic setting. Coffee is also a winner, smooth & rich. We ordered the Navajo breakfast & burrito bowl. Both were healthy with tasty fresh produce.

Recently turned up for lunch. Service was prompt and the food arrived very quickly. The lady who delivered the food was a delight; bright and cheery and funny.
My partner had the Byron Bay Halloumi, Fresh Garden Leaves, Spiced Chickpeas, Roast Sweet Potato,Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumber, Half Avocado, Toasted Seed Dukkah,
Creamy Herb & Paprika Dressing...very nice. I had the Vegan Huevos Rancheros, Corn Tortilla, Breaky Beans, Avo Salsa, Jalapeno, Chipotle Mayo, Fresh Greens & Spiced Tofu Scramble...absolutely fantastic.
Coffee and tea were nice and hot. My latte with beetroot and cocoa was quite drinkable but essentially flavourless. Oh well, at least I tried something different.
Menu was varied and should suit most people.
My usual gripe about background music remains. Terrible choice, very poor quality, way too loud. Oh well. I still rated the place

We visited on the way back to Brisbane after a weekend away with the family. Hands down amazing food - will visit again.
Interesting reading the other reviews here. The food didn't come out immediately but I wouldn't say we waited an exceedingly long time - and the place was packed.
Waitstaff we're friendly, engaging and helpful, especially patient with extra stuff we needed for the kids.
Prices were fair, food was worth the cost.
We will come back when down next

Had the chicken burger with sweet potato chips. Nice meal. The coffee was good too. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The other meal we had was the salmon with miso and honey sauce which was too sweet for us and the flavour overpowered the salmon.

This was a lovely find during a short stay at Nobby’s Beach.

It’s a perfect place for an early morning coffee on your morning walk.

We also dropped back for breakfast on a weekday morning.

There’s a innovative menu to suit all tastes and cafe promotes itself as a health cafe.

Certainly, there are many choices with healthy ingredients .

Ordering is via a tablet which is an easy process.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
