was good everything, but 1 eclair costs 1,5 euro, but if you are gonna eat inside be ready that nobody is gonna prevent you that you will pay double price for the save sweet 3€
Good service, good options for breakfast and they are open even at 5am. I got an Americano and Cornetto con crema and both were decent.
Nice decor in a great location. Interesting breakfast sweets choices. Unfortunately. the service does not match the effort put in to the style of the place. Staff were visibly overwhelmed, short tempered, and rushed.

Cibo buono, ma purtroppo alcuni elementi dello staff maleducati e scontrosi. Nonostante l'evidenza di essere in torto insistono nel voler avere ragione a tutti i costi. Il manager invece di scusarsi mi serve sgarbatamente.
Ero venuta qui per lamentarmi della maleducazione del personale, ma vedendo che le recensioni sono tutte su questo argomento, a questo punto mi chiedo perche non siano cambiate le cose. Ancora più grave della maleducazione è il menefreghismo nel migliorare il servizio del proprio locale. Veramente deludente.

This place is an utter offense. The whole place smells greasy, it will even get into your clothes too. The service were unattentive and obviously not even knowing what the food they are offering is supposed to look or taste like. My partner's Pasta alla norma had litterally two tiny bits of eggplant in it. Needless to say that the dish's main ingredient is melanzane, as Italians say. But miss know-it-all was trying to tell us, that the rest of the eggplants had been blended (!) into the sauce... The sauce consisted mostly of oil which goes quite well with the omnipresent grease smell in the place. For compensation the staff gave us two Euros discount on the pasta dish. You should be ashamed of your service, your quality ot food, you lack of empathy and your total failure of trying to be hospitable.

The food is extremely value for money. There is a good choice of dishes in the buffet and the cocktail drink is also very well made. Given the quality and quantity of food, this is a very good deal. You are asked to pay as soon as you get your food which felt a bit rude but apparently that is the standard practice in this restaurant. Everything else is top notch.

My only complaint here is about the service. The service from the waitress was extremely lacking. The most rude part of the experience was the fact that I had just started eating and was half way through my first bite when the waitress brought me the check and stood there with the card machine asking me to pay. Everywhere else in Italy, they will wait for you to finish and only when you ask for the check, they will bring it to you. Maybe because I was the only brown person among their guests, I looked like someone who might leave without paying, so she felt the need to ask me to pay while my hands were full with my food and drink and I had just started. She could not have waited until I was done. I looked around and none of the other customers were being asked to pay like this.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy some amazing cocktails and some wonderful nibbles. While it may have taken awhile for my drink to arrive the old fashion I ordered was spectacular. Simone the bartender knows his craft well and did an amazing job not only using a phenomenal rye bourbon but not using any syrup to make it overtly sweet. It was a joy hearing him talk about his craft with passion. I would definitely like to go back the next time I am visiting from Texas.

Panini abbastanza buoni, consiglio quello con il brie e speck. Anche se sono stati riscaldati poco .Comunque gustosi. Se siete di passaggio una piacevole pausa.

Incredibly expensive (7€ for one sandwich), but so tasty! It's been 2 years since I have been in Genova, but I still sometimes think about that sandwich.
Filling buffet w a drink for 12.50 euros. I’m not demanding when it comes to food, so I think it’s great!
Bon menjar a preus raonables. El personal és amable i la varietat de plats al menú del migdia et permet trobar sempre un plat que t'agradi. Ho recomano. També per pendre cafè O menjar un panini O una focaccia.

As a vegan I was more than happy to find this spot. I came here almost every day during my stay in Genova to drink a Maxi Cappuccino with soy milk.

Arrivati davanti al bar chiediamo informazione per sederci fuori e veniamo accolti frettolosamente da una ragazza scocciata che si stava fumando una sigaretta. Le chiediamo un latte macchiato e quando ce lo porta chiediamo anche un brik e un posacenere non avendo avuto il tempo di chiederlo prima. La sua risposta? “E POI?” Con un tono scocciato e alzando i toni. Inaccettabile. Anche le signore affianco a noi si sono stupite di questo atteggiamento.

.... dato che è un locale che è stato ristrutturato,ci sono voluto entrare per i soffitti (bellissimi)e l'ambiente, molto rilassante... c'è un bell'assortimento di paste e quant'altro, personale gentile e disponibile (almeno con me..)...ci si può prendere un caffè al ritorno o all' andata in treno 🚆, visto che è situato all'interno della Stazione ferroviaria di Genova Brignole.
In Genova for 3 days, I hadn't taste all the dishes of the city. The Blu experience was a really good option for a Fair price (30 euros)! I took the rose cocktail it was delicious. There were welcome pleasant appetizers then different dishes : tartare di tonno, caponata, fritti mixti, and tonno pasta. And a cannollo. All the dishes were delicious and in good portions, simple ingredients but different textures and tastes. Even if it is not the most famous dishes of Genova it gives a real taste of Italia. And the service was really cool with me as a tourist.

It’s very cute and stylish place! Especially in Genova, it's hard to find something atmospheric like this one. The menu has plenty of interesting and particular options and the cocktails is very tasty. The energetic and beautiful staff works very quickly and professional. I can advice it to have a lunch or some drink at the evening!
I was there two weeks ago, the treatment was lousy and the waiting time was slow, plus the drinks are not entirely good for consumption, and it is not a very familiar environment. The place has another place located in Port Antico with better service. Honestly, this specific one is not good enough to go with family or friends. We can take into account the sale of alcoholic beverages and the young staff that the restaurant has is not an environment, ethical, moral, How can a young staff be allowed to work with alcoholic beverages and especially that it is dangerous should not be legal, the service gives a little to think about and it seems that the owners do not put order or supervision. Not recommended, better to avoid bad treatment and enjoy other better options.

We found various nice restaurants in Genova, but this one had the best dish I ever had in the city. We visited twice, tried for a third time but it was closed due to Sunday day off. I recommend this restaurant for its nice and cozy location, the staff, and the quality food we had. The prices were surprisingly low( for instance my favorite dish, avocado with salmone, cream cheese and salad, costs 13€ - keep that prices low guys and the people will love you!), hitting the bull’s eye of a great experience. I hope to visit Genova soon and go to this restaurant again, among the other things I wish to repeat.

Worst burger for me ever. The food was very bad, the buns of the burgers were both dried and burned we couldn't cut it, let alone eat it; the meats were cheap and tasteless. It took almost an hour for the food to come even though there were only 3 other tables except for ours. I usually don't write reviews, but this culinary experience was so bad i had to share it

Mini was SOOOO sweet! I came here with my family & the food was delicious, service was 10/10, & vibes were immaculate. Would def come back here just for Mini because she's an angel!!!!
The food is delicious. We enjoyed focaccia stuffed with cheese and topped with pesto, melts in your mouth. We also had a salad with avocado, smoked salmon and cheese. The drinks were perfect. Our waiter was attentive and very kind.

We had twice breakfast there during our stay in Genoa. The croissants (sweet [filled] & savoury) and Cappuccino are very good. The Brutus cookies are also a must try. The place would be perfect (for an authentic Italian breakfast - don't expect eggs etc.) If we didn't had to re-ask the extra drink we already had ordered - a small inconvenience.

I had a fantastic time at Just Balilla Café! Their café latte was smooth and delicious, and the ice cream was creamy and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. I highly recommend Just Balilla Café for great coffee, tasty ice cream, and excellent service. Storico bar sotto i portici di Via San Vincenzo, frequentato per molto tempo grazie agli spettacolosi panini che realizzava con cura e con passione. E devo dire che c'è ancora quella cura e quella passione di qualche tempo fa, unita ad una sempre disponibilità e cortesia nei confronti dei clienti. Ottima la location del dehors vetrato che da più privacy e consente una bella bella visuale sulla strada e sul movimento della gente.

The all you can eat aperitif for 9.90€ is totally worth it, among the options there is shrimp, calamari rings, chicken wings, as well as paella, pastas, panini, focaccia. And the drink menu (1 drink included) also has a very wide range of choices.
Visitato il 25 settembre 2022. Personale efficientissimo, mi hanno preparato la bibita richiesta con abbondanza di ghiaccio in bicchiere GIGANTE come adoro bere le bibite gasate, ottima spremuta d'arancia prezzi accettabilissimi! Il soffitto è tutto decorato che sembra di stare in un museo!!

First i was no so sure about entering to a bar inside a train station, i had lots of doubts, but then when i entred i completely changed my mind and i was really satisfied by what i saw and what i tasted. i asked for the breakfast combo and it was so tasty and delicious, each time i pass over Brignole i please my self by entering to get at least a capuccio or an espresso,staff are lovely, decorated well and very cosy, if you are heading somewhere by the train then this is the right place to stop by for a quick brain relaxation and enjoying a smal snack. highly recommend it 👌

Nel collettivo quando si pensa al bar in una grande stazione si pensa ad un luogo impersonale, con prezzi esagerati e servizio essenziale.
Non e questo il caso.
Ormai spesso ci fermiamo per un caffè al tavolo e abbiamo sempre trovato bariste e baristi cordiali, che ti accolgono con il sorriso e preparano con cura quanto ordinato, proprio come in dei migliori bar della city.
Ed è giusto considerarlo così!

It was a good place for breakfast and enjoy some Sicilian sweets.
We passed by the bar and got attract to this sicilian shop. We tried 2 types of sweets and the quality was better than we expected. Even we had to wait a bit long to get thier services but it was quite crowded at that time.
We passed by the bar and got attract to this sicilian shop. We tried 2 types of sweets and the quality was better than we expected. Even we had to wait a bit long to get thier services but it was quite crowded at that time.
The maid was so nice! She made special French breakfast for us. Thank you very much.

Ive always liked Don Cola and I also like their new Aperitivo formula which they’ve recently changed. We got a charcuterie and cheese board which was enough for 3 people and well priced also. The breakfast is also very nice & friendly staff
Do 3 stelle perché il locale non e male per un pasto veloce che vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e anche comodo. Ma purtroppo causa i pochi dipendenti che mettono in turno (1)si trovano i tavolini sporchi con la roba sopra da pasti e pasti precedenti. L'idea e buona ma la gestione e da migliorare
The bar is conveniently located in Porto Antico. For the rest, the cocktail seemed like flavoured water, the buffet is below the minimum standards and the service is not attentive. The server was bored when accepting orders and she did not accept American Express. I wanted to pay cash but she had already instructed the POS so even that was not possible. Forgettable.
The place is nice but can someone tell me why it passed a year and "Cioccolatose" recipes are still not available? If we cannot order them, why keeping them in the table? I went there just to have a Cioccolatosa as these recipes are hard to find in other bars (where you can have just normal hot chocolate) and they still don't have it.
Excellent service with friendly English speaking staff taking time to offer meal deals and explain what's on offer - even at busy periods. Delicious juices and sandwiches and a stunning 'un caffe' ordered at the bar - not to be missed despite this being a juice bar!
