Great place for a cocktail or two! We were well looked after by Tazio. Food could be better. We had the crumbed portobello mushrooms - more crumb than mushrooms. Music gave the bar an awesome vibe. Grape cocktail - sublime! Ciao Tazio!
Venue was average, toilets smelt, drinks were expensive.
Other than that my mate got told to leave after having 3 drinks (2 prior to entry, 1 after entry). I asked why she was requested to leave and they stated she was too intoxicated and incoherent. This is beyond inaccurate. Myself and my friend had had 2 drinks prior to entry, 1 inside and then my friend was escorted outside. She was refused entry after this as she was deemed too intoxicated despite security not asking her further questions. I questioned why this was disallowed as we saw other patrons far more intoxicated, stumbling, spilling drinks, slurring words and so on (only some of these examples were used against my friend).
This venue inappropriately disallowed someone who wasn't yet intoxicated, yet abused the RSA rules to justify kicking a patron out. I would not recommend this venue to any person who wants a fair experience.

Yesterday, we had a team lunch to celebrate some achievements. The bar is beautifully designed that promised a good time. We had a warming welcome with friendly staff greeting us right at the door, ensuring we felt valued from the moment we entered.
The service was excellent. Attentive and efficient, the staff made sure our visit was smooth and enjoyable. As for the food and drinks, they were great.

I don't know why people from Sydney complain about this place. I think it's a great nightclub. I've been on fridays and saturdays, different genres of music, but I've had fun on both nights. I've never had an issue with the staff or the bouncers in this nightclub. I think as long as you're enjoying yourself and not acting like a complete drunken fool you won't get pestered by the bouncers.
On a cheeky saturday night, Talia and Jess was just sensational and majestic. Served the best moscato that sent me to the moon. Well beyond satisfied and they were just majestic. Easy to chat and just high class prolifically talented. Would recommend if wanting to kickback and live the dream 🤓
Juliana N was extraordinarily helpful to me. She went out of her way. There were a minor issue with a misunderstanding with the waiter and she fixed everything. She is sweet, charming, and intelligent I highly recommend her.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had bottomless dinner and it was perfect for our girls trip in Sydney. The waiter Tallisan made our stay, definitely worth a visit:)

Fantastic little Cafe and bar tucked away on York lane near Wynyard. Coffee is consistently great. Limited food menu but everything is really fresh and tasty.
If you want to have watered-down drinks that are very expensive and food, that is also very expensive. Then I recommend IVY. It took 40 minutes for pizza....

The wagyu sliders were over cooked and the bun is a little hard, the tacos tasted good but is quite a small size for the price, fries and chicken was also decent and good portion

One of the places we like catching up amongst friends. The view is of course fantastic but it's also worth going to because of the atmosphere, the friendly service and delicious food!

We got a good laugh & felt right at home when Saskia placed us in the Naughty Corner!!
Overall the food, the service, the live music & the overall atmosphere was all top shelf!! Plus all being from the country, once inside you wouldn’t even know you were in the heart of Sydney.
Then just by chance Saskia was in the venue & came over to say hello to our group which was lovely of her & wonderful to see the passion she has for this place!!

I hardly ever leave reviews, especially bad ones. The staff member who served me was extremely racist to my culture and this was out of no where. On top of that he charged me $23.50 for 2 coffees and said "my boss told me to charge you this". I highly recommend against going to this place. I will never be entering again.
The highlight of our visit to Sydney was watching sunset at Bar 83. Our amazing waitress, Julieta, from Buenos Aires and our wonderful waiter, Andrea, from Bologna, Italy were fantastic! They were patient with us first time foreign visitors and helped us choose the best food and drink options for our tastes. Julieta even took a great video of us at sunset. It was a memory we will cherish forever, not just because of the incredible view, and delicious food, but because we were treated with kindness and respect and made to feel special. Thank you Julieta and Andrea for making our experience sooooooo special!
Nothing beats the view and atmosphere! Such a great place with great service. We had an amazing zucchini plate (my favorite). Melanie was a legend and made the experience even better. Desert could be a tiny bit better.. We so got a bit of a line downstairs to check in, which made the initial experience a bit annoying. But other than that I super recommend.

I took the team out for a quick lunch to Verandah (its been a few years since we'd set foot in your establishment) and all I can say is, keep doing what you are doing! We were greeted by a friendly woman with black glasses and a pony tail at the front door who found us a table in no time and even suggested a few menu items suitable for me (as I am gluten free).

Whilst we did have a great evening here to see Paul Van Dyk I do concur the bouncers are overzealous. My partner had not had much to drink and was pulled aside as soon as he walked out the male toilets. He was completely confused why and was then asked how much he had to drink and was allowed back in. I would have been most upset if he had been kicked out given I would have been left in the club on my own and we'd both paid $250 each for back stage passes. We have never experienced this at any other venue we have been to or ever been kicked out of anywhere. Quite an upsetting experience. I also think there should be free water stations readily available for patrons as is with comparable venues in the city. I wanted to leave this post as I see many saying bouncers are racist. I don't believe they are racist at all just overzealous and towards the males so perhaps sexist rather than racist a better description.

The staff were lovely and it seems like a great venue for after work drinks but I wouldn’t recommend the food. We got the Gin rigatoni and the Casareece al pesto and they both came out very quickly but they were both quite bland and unfulfilling. We felt disappointed that the cost of the meal didn’t equate to the quality we received.
Worst experience ever, it was our Valentine night and we were so hungry, ordered a veg pizza, pizza came with a ton of cheese, since we were so hungry, we had to eat just bread from the pizza. My husband and I had our reception here last year. We went for chill, cocktail/canape vibes with dancing later and the events team were amazing in ensuring our vision came to life. We were given plenty of options and ideas for what we could do, we had consistent communication with the events manager and had a number of inspections to ensure the set up was to our liking. On the night, the staff were also very helpful and had a designated person to liaise with our MC for the finer details so we could enjoy our night. We had so many compliments and positive feedback about the staff and the food from our guests and parents (especially the lamb skewers and salt and pepper squid). Highly recommend for a reception/party!

Great pub, music and dancing up stairs. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food was good, hot and plentiful. ( have ti say I have never had chip/fries that crispy, absolutly fab). Would definately recommend the venue for drinks or for eatung. During weekdays the menu lists a dish of the day.
We really enjoyed our lunch here, this was one of the more affordable locations in the area. There is quite a bit of selection of snacks and meals and the service is fast.
The eggplant parmesana was huge and my dad was very happy with the flavour and portion size.

Terrible service. When we used our drink cards, they asked us questions like "where did you get this card?" (?) and did not accept the cards because "they can only be applied on Fri and Sat", even tho not stated on the card.
And the drink is terrible (see photo).

Enjoyed a meal at Bellucci in Sydney, where I tried their Pizza Capricciosa. The pizza was good, with a nice mix of toppings like artichokes and ham, though it didn't quite reach 'amazing' for me. What stood out was the service - really warm and welcoming, and the ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. A solid choice for those in Sydney looking for a good Italian meal. The music inside was too loud!

What a cute funky bar 🍸 YOLO has been on my list for some time. Jam packed with happy customers and it is unique hole in the wall kind of a place. The owner must love bicycles. I was only here for a drink (my cocktail was on sweeter side than expected). The draft beer (Orion) was nice light beer for summer.
Such a scam this place is. there is this guy on 19/12/23 at 6.30pm, making espresso martini is nightmare. The taste is no good and even though you pay heaps, he prepared the coctail half a glass and when i told this he was just not accepting and giving you excuses. No good. Dont get coctails from here. Go for beer if you have. Dissapointment!! Look at this cocktail!!
Food is good, atmosphere is great, but it’s a massive venue in a very popular waterfront space, so it’s not quiet and they are keen to move you on once you have finished. Prices reflect the location too, one cocktail and two small Tacos was $42. Sheesh! Good spot for Xmas lunch events.
We had a Christmas party at the Ivy, The venue was suitable for large volumes of people. Hundreds. It has multiple floors, a huge dance floor and stage and multiple bars. Equally there were spaces where you could have a more personal conversation. The staff were friendly and the food - tapas was delicious. A fun night was had by all.

We had dinner at the Jackalberry located inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The food was good. Delicious burgers. Just some negatives on the dessert. A simple menu but they had a selection for all tastes..
The dessert “Sea salt and baileys crème brûlée” unfortunately had a very burnt top which was inedible. The flavor of the brûlée was good if you didn’t eat the top.
It came with a thin pistachio biscotti chip which sadly tasted soggy and old (from being stored too long)

The cool kids and the grandmas all know that York Lane Cafe is a special place in the Sydney CBD. Great food (waffles are amazing) drinks and coffee (go the magic). Awesome vibes and friendly staff, make this little bit of Melbourne in Sydney a winner any time of day. I'll be back.
The food was INCREDIBLE!!! Scarpetta - Gin basil rigatoni was ON POINT!! The pizza crust was so soft. Lively atmosphere, perfect for a dinner with friends after a work day. The service was good, the staff were attentive as they come by now and then to check if you need anything. At on point, a higher-up staff passed by and chatted with us a bit, he was supper nice. One minor minus point was when the staff were rush to take your dishes away as soon as you finished. Other than that, everything is good. Will definitely comeback!

Super awesome hidden small cafe/bar. Located down a back alley, this sunken cafe has a cycling flavour with cinelli caps lining one wall. Excellent coffee, good food. Not cheap but worth it.
My friend and I waited for 15min and couldn't find a single waiter to ask for a menu so we ended up taking one from the bar and ordering over there. The bar staff told us to take plates and cutlery ourselves, that it was self service, which was very disappointing...
Then food arrived and it was okay, but definitely not worth the price.
If I ever come back it will be for drinks, it was quite disappointing overall.

We had a lovely dinner and drink at Jackalberry. The food was well done and beautifully presented. We really enjoyed the mains, the steak was perfectly medium rare and the chicken was well cooked, still moist inside. We enjoyed the rose. The staff were professional, attentive and friendly. I’d recommend this restaurant and would come back again.
Had the 2.0 loaded fries, chicken bacon and Mmmm it was good. Service was OK, QR puck at the tables where you scan and it's all done virtually. Picked my food n drink and paid all on the app, super convenient. Atmosphere was nice enough was there during the slow time so not much going on, stayed at the lower level only so was nice and simple.
Awesome cocktails at this cool bar. Great design, super drinks and good service. We only got snacks to share but they were good. And we'd be keen to come back for a proper sit down meal!

Got the tasting platter and 2 cocktails as an add on for our hotel booking. When we arrived and give our voucher to the waitress she scoffed and sighed. About 20minutes later she came back and told me I couldn’t have the cocktail I ordered but I could have anything else. I chose something and she said not that either. Eventually I got a cocktail. It wasn’t busy and the service was slow and boarderline rude. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was average.
First club I went to while visiting Australia. Went on a Thursday night, great vibes! 10/10. Even came back a week later because we had such a fun time. People there were there to dance and have a good time. No weirdos or creepy men in sight! The only strange thing was how intense security was. There were three rows of security to get through and I had to provide my ID and passport each time. Props to them for prioritizing security/safety!
Lovely bar for drinks with friends! I ordered the falafel with hummus and chicken tacos. Everything was delicious. Tacos were well balanced, crunchy, full of flavour and warm.

One of the best places in Sydney to Party ! The place is quite huge and you have various options within ! The vibe and atmosphere is probably one of the best in Sydney ! But the only negative here is the security staff as they are quite rude and don't know how to treat people appropriately !
We were served by Kat who was an absolute star! She was super friendly and made us the tastiest drinks we’ve ever had - we will definitely be coming back! The pasta and pizza was also delicious, such a wonderful night.
V-bar pub those staff especially the manager name “SIA” in VIP LOUNGE are very racial & very rude don’t know what’s right-wrong.! Last night I was playing one of the poker machine one customer & two staff said the machine was on RESERVE! “I said it wasn’t on Reserve” Go & check the Cameras before you & your giving tip customer keep on accusing & abusing me.
So after checking all the cameras carefully I was rightful, Then staff & the manager no they were wrong without an apology turned their back trying to ignore me then walked away, I said excuse me miss you & the other staff own me an apology. instead of saying SORRY to me. “BUT NO Straight away said I was a loud voice that’s impossible WHY”.? & call security get my money out & kick me out of the venue. I will report this incident to the Headquarters. think twice before you go there not just lose your money you’ll lose your dignity as well it has happened to a lot of other customers already.

Great beer, food and atmosphere. Has several giant screens to see sports games, sound is a bit loud but it's a pub. Centrally located in a very good and safe area of Sydney Central.
There is not such a thing as a rooftop. The place it’s too crowed at evening and completely empty by night. There is no Australian food as they described and I found a little bit hostil the bartender. The first floor premises are nice and clean and it has windows for street view.
Prompt service. Great ambiance. Very nice coffees. Very welcoming friendly cheerful owner, Dieter. Reasonable prices.

Me and my mate wanted to play pokies and we both had more than $8k each to spend that night. We had zero alcohol and the seccy saw me driving and coming out of my car. Still, he didn't even ask for IDs and just rudely said to try another venue.
Upon asking him the reason for denying entry to the venue, he kept repeating the same words like a Robo: "I don't have to give you a reason."
You guys have a lot of competition around. If your staff treat people like this then you definitely will lose a lot of customers.
I would definitely never enter this place and will make sure my friends and family are aware of the attitude of that seccy.

Nice venue to enjoy the water view! I had the Tuesday promotion at 12pm-4pm for half price tacos and margaritas. Tacos were alright, they came out really quick but unfortunately my tacos took about 30 min & the chicken tacos had a bit too much sauce. The barramundi taco was actually really good! Fries were good also. Tommy’s Margarita was nice, but my friends said the Classic Margarita were not well balanced.

It's all right for a quiet hang out and a few drinks and to watch some sports games on the screen.
But the same guard assigned at the door those times i was there, had a racist mouth. I will not say the racial slur to call that guard to respond with (in this review). For i don't want people that have experienced the same racial slur to see this here as retaliation and go in this club and cause trouble to the staff.

Great staff, fantastic atmosphere and great tunes. Was fairly short wait for drinks, toilet access and quick line to get until the venue. Ivy Sundays had a great crowd. Loved every minute of it

Your bartenders only care about their ‘friends’ (locals) they flirt until they’re given money from them and don’t care about other people, people getting abused especially girls by older men and instead of resolving the situation we get compensated With drinks. The girls who work there play pokies with their friends during shifts and ignore the customers around them. It is an absolutely appalling atmosphere which deserves no recognition what so ever.

Lovely atmosphere and accommodating staff. The food wasn't super tasty but rather very diverse. It's a nice place for drinks and just average taste wise. The seafood linguine and pumpkin arachini from the bar were our favourites. The desserts were also nice, the matcha white chocolate cake was the star of the night!! We highly recommend that cake if you visit :)

We were there for a Christmas lunch and the overall experience at the table of 15 was underwhelming. The food is a bit expensive for bar food and tasted just average. Lunch special deals or combos were definitely missing. While the staff looked slightly exhausted handling the orders they were still friendly. It is good place for a quick drink by the harborside but they need to up their food game !
Best venue to hangout or go for a drink, and hangout with a mates, got a great sitting area TAB, KENO and their pokies area is really busy and good. This venue is really good and for the mates and Family, great service and great food and people are really really friendly here.

I've been to Vbar a lot because of it's location in the city - right at World Square. There's a bar at the front with lots of tables. It's great for groups. The bartenders are really nice. There are TV's in the middle where you can watch all the games. I go to the thai restaurant hidden at the back. Food is consistent and comes out so quickly. It is also very cheap for the amount of food you get. Toilets at the vbar could be cleaned more often.
A good local and Sami the Barman has a very smooth way with females 👍👍

Lost my money looking for a feature on a few of the 14 pokies machines. Paid a bit too much for a couple of beers but credits for the fact I could have a ciggy inside. Not a lot of places left I can do that these days. The red vinyl chairs remind me of a swinger club I was once in. Probably won't return.
I accidentally left my IPhone there on Thursday night and only realized a couple of hours later, I was pleasantly surprised that they had saved it for me and I came back and picked it up. Thanks Sami and team luar biasa 🙏
