Had a night on the town with old school mates and finished off at Old Mates Place. We just had ginger beers (alcoholic $5.20 each) but food looked good. The crowd were very well behaved and the music not too loud. Low lighting good at the time of night we were there - til 2am closing.
Service was fast, place was clean and songs were recent. Drinks were definitely worth the price, especially if you get the jugs.
Awesome hidden bar with some unique cocktails! Worth a visit whether you hang inside or head to the rooftop
One of the best speakeasy bars in Sydney - vibes are awesome and the winner is the rooftop area. Place was so packed and cocktails were professionally crafted!
I don't recommend this place, you get drinks taken away from you as soon at we sat down, they only let you have drinks if it's bought from them, I just wanted my tea. Sad times🥲. I recommend the karaoke down stairs, should've just gone there😔 but on the good note the worker left my drink in the fridge.

Dropped in for a drink Sunday afternoon. Really chill relaxed place with friendly, knowledgeable and professional bartenders. Roof top was perfect and inside was cool and comfortable. Great selection of drinks at reasonable pricing. Patrons were all enjoying them selves. Highly recommend.
Terrible karaoke bar. Rude staff. Slow queuing system, the elevator could only take 5 persons at a time, very small vicinity. If you are claustrophobic, would not recommend going here. Would not allow more than an hour of booking, and an hour of karaoke isn’t just enough. If you guys are like us who just like to sing and have fun, DO NOT BOOK in here. Just book some place else where you could enjoy extending as much as you want.
Just terrible service experience. The manager keep looking a phone, not listening. When I called to ask whether there is an available room, he said us just walk in and don’t do phone call as he is busy. And when we are there, all rooms are full. I really do not know why they put the post to make a booking through the phone. If you are looking for happy hour, all karaokes are $20. Just go others.
This is an amazing place that has high standards. After working hard all day it's good to be able to relax in this venue. The security are respectful and fantastic. I find it difficult to believe the negative reviews. If you dress well and have class you won't have a problem.
Great place to pop into while having a break in town, plus the Best Club Sandwich in Sydney. Cocktails, Kirin Beer and other eats available (Popcorn chicken, Satays). Yum!
I came here on a Tuesday night. Was quiet busy. The drinks are expensive here. However the establishment has quiet a good vibe, the food was ok. But nothing to rave about having said that I was talking quiet a bit so the food wasn’t that hot. I’ll have to go back and try it whilst it fresh and hot :-) It cost 25 dollars for a cocktail.
One of the worst bars in the city. Booked for my sisters Birthday, drove an hour and a half to get there, half the group was allowed in the other half were told they were dressed too casual despite wearing long pants, shirts and enclosed sneakers, ordinarily I’d cop that on the chin however there were patrons inside dressed identical and some even in board shorts. The manager told the boys to go away and purchase jackets or collared shirts, when they did so we were then told by the same manager there is a 24 hour limit once you have been denied. The ones that remained inside advised the food was overpriced and poor, drinks are expensive and the line is long, the vibe is stuffy. Overall though the rude and quite frankly unprofessional management did it for me.
I was welcome and greeted by Herman and Ahsan, what breath of fresh air. Security that knows how to provide customer service. Had a beautiful evening with great company, staff were accommodating. The atmosphere was awesome but chilled. Definitely coming back.

The really nice touch of hospitality was when the tartare was served. The waiter prepared the spice, beef, and egg in front of us on a cart. In addition, the waitress brought out our duck once it was cooked but before it prepared and sliced. They gave our table a little breakdown of how the ducks region and how it has been prepared leading up to tonight.
All in all, it was a nice dinner. My 2 guests each had some drinks, and our bill for 3 came to $458, which it very fair.

I had a really great time at Felix. The staff knew the menu and specials intimately and the recommended wine was perfectly paired with dinner. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! If you’re looking to impress or just have a fancy night out Felix is perfect.
We visited the Rook for the father's day special today and couldn't have had a better experience. The waitors were friendly and efficient. The set menu was delicious and generous. The decor is amazing and we would definitely like to renew the experience. Well done team, you made our day!

This was my second time there, and honestly I do love the vibes and music. People there tend to be fun-loving and energetic.

Brilliant little hidden bar with the friendliest staff in all of Sydney… feels like you’re entering a blend between an exclusive speakeasy, a 19th century chemist and a library but it isn’t at all pretentious. Great vibe, amazing drinks and fantastic atmosphere.
Celebrated my 10 year anniversary at the Rook. We were warmly greeted and was thankful for the beautiful gestures and drinks upon arrival. It was a nice surprise! We ordered lobster rolls which were tasty and fresh (albeit a bit smaller than i was expecting), beef sliders which were well cooked and scrumptious and crab pasta which was fair. Ended the meal with donut fries and ice-cream which were amazing and delicious - definitely a must! Overall, had a lovely experience. We felt taken care off with the exemplary service.

The food, Taste was amazing, serving sizes were perfect. We had steak and gnocci with some sides and the steak was cooked to perfection and the gnocci was delicious.
We also had the souffle, it was light, fluffy and delicious, only comment was flavours were alittle off, the citrus was overpowering, But still delicious.
We had the beetroot salad, it was alittle under flavoured.
Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu next time.

It’s nice and chill here, people not just from overseas would come here, the food is fine and many many seagulls are around. Always happy to come.
Very disappointing that the Rockford was listed, but not available... passing that, I ordered a decent steak... enjoyed, but the rocket salad...

Stunning place with beautiful bar. Server were attentive and polite. Followed the reviews here and ordered the gnocchi and the creme brulee. Was very very good. The tartare was delicious and mixed tableside to your preferences.

How can you go wrong with such an iconic location? The view is amazing, sit on the upper deck if it is not too cold. At least to start with. We were fortunate to be there as the sun went down which gives stunning vistas. The city skyline, THE bridge and the Opera House.

Fine French dining, with a beautiful Parisian ambience. Hidden behind Angel Place, this is a gem, only known to those who know. And yet it’s always full, which means there is a lot of repeat business. If you are looking for a classy business lunch, or a romantic special date, Felix should be on your list. The menu offers great seafood, oysters, steak and a wonderful win list. It’s a pricey destination, but worth it. The service is superb.
Hidden bar on the fourth floor that truly feels special. The rustic interior and creative cocktail list makes for an unforgettable experience. The bartenders are friendly and helpful if you're not sure what to try out. Rooftop bar is particularly delightful in summer.
Been to Opera a few times the atmosphere is just a place you can go to relax and take in the outstanding view of the Sydney harbour and the opera house. Good I have experienced at opera bar has always been great food. So if you haven’t tried Opera bar give it a go. Have a drink some food and soak up the view and hoping it’s good weather
Lovely Lunch at the Opera Bar on a glorious day with a glorious view. Had cold seafood platter and Sashimi. Very nice. Would have liked a creamy sauce for the prawns. A seagull swiped our Kingfish which the Opera Bar kindly replaced. $180 for 2 dishes and a bottle of wine.
Nice hidden bar under ground, but I’m happy to pay $15 for a beer, but Not happy to be served in a plastic cup. $17 for a plastic cup of sparkling wine. What do they think is going to happen, I’ll get drunk and throw my glass ( not at $15). Can go to any roof top bar in Sydney and be served in glass. Won’t be back
As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of Sydney, I visited this cool rooftop bar. The layout out with the floral was amazing. Had a lovely lobster roll to go with my G&T

Had cocktails here last night. The space is beautiful, the lighting is romantic. The staff are friendly and the cocktail was tasty. Happy hour prices seemed to vary though we were ordering the same drinks but whatever we enjoyed our time here.

We arrived well before closing time but they refused to serve us because they had already done “last call”, apparently. I firmly believe that five (four?) star hotels should honour their closing times but apparently hospitality is dead at the Fullerton.
Located beside the Sydney Opera House and hence the name. There is a paid parking lot inside the building but the parking rate is very very high.

The place looks cool, from the floor to the ceiling. The Jamieson with Dry I had was great, came with lime. But for $15 it should do. Only thing that took the shine off was a plastic tumbler not glass. Music was good, it was a Friday night at 8pm I visited.

came in for dessert and the food melts in your mouth, delicious and warm. great seating areas and not too crowded. quite pricey but worth it. don’t recommend coming when the IVY club is open but apart from that, it’s really worth coming.
Very romantic spot for pre drinks or spend the the night picking at food while drinking sophisticated cocktails. Tried the itailian meat board wich was amazing comes with spicy picked veggies bread and nice cured meats highly recommend , truffle fries were okay but need to be a bit more crispy but still yummy. When we went only one bar was open so was very crowed I think they could use some crowd management down there as it get pretty busy after 6:00 hard to move.
This place used to be awesome. It's still a beautiful bar in a top location, but $24 for an average cocktail served in a *plastic* tumbler with chips in the rim... come on... plenty of better places around to grab a drink.
Worth discovering this bar is set over two levels up 4 flights of stairs. Downstairs cosy library charm while rooftop is leafy with secluded smoking spot. Go for the cocktails but decent beer choice. Friendly surprisingly fast for cocktails service. Unaffectedly cool clientele from goths to smart office workers all welcome.
We didn't have food, so I can't give it a rating - but the staff were very attentive to the correctness of the drinks & even remembered for us what we'd had- for the next day. For the establishment that it is, I didn't think it was overly expensive either 🥂😊
It was a great day when I was there. Gorgeous blue skies and a good temp. The bar sits right along the water below the Opera House with a good view of the Harbor Bridge. The staff is nice and friendly. The food was excellent we ordered the Feta Arancini and the Prawn roll. Both were fresh and so so tasty.

I paid an entrance ....for some rude girl staff.This is my first time visit here and I enjoy the show so much.However, at last I feel sad because that girl wear black dress shout to us!!! So we do nothing. We haven't talk with this girl before. So right now I'm so disappointed. You should be more respect another people much more.
This place was great. It's like walking into a pub in Diagon Alley! They offer to run a bar tab and table service which was pleasant and convenient. They have a cozy rooftop bar which is has outdoor heaters for the colder evenings and the cocktails were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Worth a visit if you are in Sydney!
Took my friend here to admire the Amazing interior and architecture. We enjoyed a cocktail and the ambience. It is lovely, but almost ready for a good clean of the ceiling and fittings.

5 star bar in Sydney matching what you might find in NYC or London. Service was great too
Had sooo much fun here. We sang our hearts out. Each room is properly sound proofed so you wont hear other rooms’ noise. Came with a big group and there’s a room for 11 of us (that room can probably fit 15 people). I recommend this place if you wanna have a fun night out.
I went last Monday with my parents. I have to said, it was an amazing night, good music, good food, nice people in special Lerone who was our bartender. This guy is such a cool person, always happy to recommend something. And really good chat tho.

Absolutely loved it! Would recommend bringing a group of friends for a fun time. Definitely have a list of songs and artists you want to do so you make the most out of your time unlike us who spent too much time looking for which songs we wanted to sing haha. Nice big rooms too

Agree with the other reviews - the service is terrible. The staff are not present and won't take orders. Long wait times. Prices too high and servings very small. $8 for a coffee or tea is ridiculous. Plate of hot chips is $12 - a very small serving. Tables are dirty. It's a shame people are treated so poorly and over charged in a beautiful setting.
Such a beautiful and elegant place! Lots of red wine, white wine, cocktails and beers to choose from. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and music, everything is perfect. Highly recommended.

A hidden rooftop bar with great ambience. Loved the flower decor! My partner and I booked the Secret Garden menu, which came with an entree, a shared platter, and 2 hours of bottomless Spritz. The food and drinks were great and we definitely got our money's worth! We ordered the truffle fries as well, which were also delicious. Our servers were lovely and attentive (shout out to Nicole!).

Lovely staff, love their dj who stood right in front of us. Also, great vibes with all the decorations. They have very delicious cheese board, very recommended.
Amazing night, girls were beautiful and welcoming. Me and my partner had an amazing night for our first club experience would recommend. Will be coming back definitely
Clean rooms, new mic, safe at night and songs are updated regularly, ( 시드니에서 한국인이 가기엔 제일 좋은 노래방^-^)b) if you don't know how to use the karaoke machine, the staff will help you out! Definitely a go to place if you like singing
It's a nice central location but that's it. The pizzas are bad and well over priced for what you get. The chips are so over priced for a very small portion. Mind you even if the portion was large it wouldn't improve the taste of the chips. Would I go back?? NO.
Love a hotel lobby bar! Great space with good drinks. Service needs some work to become a well-oiled machine.
First of all, the interior design is to DIE for - worth a stop for a drink or two. They have mastered the atmosphere.
The pepperoni toastie was spicy, but the chips seriously stole the spotlight! Much preferred a good old gin to their cocktails. Staff were very kind and on the ball.

Showed up on a salsa night, place was packed and filled with post after hour corporate crowd. Danced all night until the place was fully packed. Although they didn’t have much of good wine selection, we still have a fun night here.

I went out almost vomiting.
I ordered wine and after I drunk more than half of it I found out that in my glass is someone's used CHEWING GUM!
Is so disgusting!!!!! I almost vomit I went to talk with bartenders they didn't even apologise, they didn't offer anything to compense it they just said “I don't know how its happened” when I asked “ist everything what you can say?” I heard just silence.

We had our work event here and absolutely loved it! Thank you to Kelli who helped us with the booking. The evening was seamless from start to finish, the staff was superb and took excellent care of us. A special thanks to Leo and Tom who were behind the bar.

My girlfriend and I just spent an evening at the club. Typical of strip clubs it has a cover charge and drinks are a bit dearer, but you have to expect. It’s Sydney after all. I was there from about 8:30 and there were some slow starts, but the girls were very friendly and respectful of people who just wanted to hang out for a drink and a show. The bar staff were excellent and the girls on stage once they got warmed up gave a great show. These places rely on the punters getting excited and having a great time. The dancers will feed off that vibe so it works both ways. Most of all be respectful and show them appreciation as you watch. Thanks ladies for a great night. Will definitely be back.
Maybe I'm getting old but it was just too noisy, though the music was great. It was virtually impossible to talk 😆 The food was only average and drinks are expensive. Though if you want to dance it's great. It was packed but everybody was having a great time and security was good, quickly stepping in to escort out a couple who were too drunk. I'd go back again
Awesome rooftop bar, with a roof that opens and beautiful views over Darling Harbour. We enjoyed a great night out with colleagues, taking some high tables and enjoying the drinks and bar food. Great place to come with friends and workmates, both in small and larger groups. We’ll be back!
a group of us went in last night, paid $25 each entry fee, the place was so hot we were all sweating within a few minutes of entering, there was no seating available so we stood and were then told we needed to sit or leave... as there was no seats we had to leave. we were there for around 10 minutes... wouldn't recommend to anyone, was a total waste of money. Also there was only 1 girl on stage....
The staff were great and very accomodating. I ordered a Sydney along expected to be disappointed but it was a delight, full of flavour and with a hint of tropical notes, just like what sydney is all about!
The fish and chips were below par, with the use of frozen fish overfried with thick batter; the salad was delicious. Overall it is a pretty fab place to hang out on a lazy afternoon or early evening, but skip the food and go with drinks instead

Great bottomless package with 3 hours of prosecco, beer and pizza for $60 in November. Nice views, and a really nice vibe. The service was also very good - the staff went out of their way to help and were super friendly. Would definitely recommend as a weekend experience.
This is so far my favourite afternoon tea in Sydney and Melbourne. The savoury pieces were unique and very delicious. Scones were on the smaller size but I found it to be perfect because scones at other places tend to be a tad too much for me. TWG tea was the cherry on top, nice and delicate taste.

Didn't knew that there were a downstairs and bum............ It's like a food court with different types of food; cheese etc. - and with a lovely jazz mood... Wow .. such a great bar location and so well set up. Fantastic jazz music .. and who would know that this place was down this alley. Door opened spot on 5pm. So much heart and atmosphere. Great choices of wine, spirits, champagne. The atmosphere made me feel that I was in the 1920's of prohibition. Terrific art works. Went for an hour and left almost 4-5 hours later. Time went quick as a flash. We went as a group of 16. The place can cater for big or small groups. Also had decent choice of food.
So I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I received something very different than what I thought I had ordered. If I had known what I was ordering, I probably would not have ordered it, because raw stuff with nuts and grains just isnt my go-to order, but after I mixed everything up and poured the sauce over everything it tasted pretty good.
So this is the quinoa breakfast bowl. It doesnt look like much but once it's all mixed together it is pretty good, large, and it kept me full all day.
