Bar 83 at Sydney Tower

Great place for a cocktail or two! We were well looked after by Tazio. Food could be better. We had the crumbed portobello mushrooms - more crumb than mushrooms. Music gave the bar an awesome vibe. Grape cocktail - sublime! Ciao Tazio!

Amazing views!! The food was good :) Julieta & Kyllian gave us a very good service, they are really nice!! I will come back for sure

Pros:

Stunning views and pleasant ambiance.
Excellent cheese platter and delicious chocolate mousse.
Outstanding service from Juli, the Argentine waitress, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible.
Cons:

Long wait times (30-45 minutes) and missing items in orders.
Disappointing gin lacking flavor; when we ordered two gin drinks, they tasted more like soda water. When we asked for a bit more gin to enhance the flavor, we were surprised to find out that they wanted to charge us for the extra shot.
Small pour for Johnny Walker Double Black ($15 for less than 1/2 oz), only providing two small sips.
Overall, while the scenery and some dishes were enjoyable, service inconsistencies and beverage quality issues detracted from the experience. It's worth noting that I don't typically leave reviews, but this experience felt particularly warranted as it left me feeling like we had been misled.

I really enjoyed the wonderful drinks they served up there but the lack of cutlery was appalling
I really liked the finger food as it paired well with the selection of drinks.
However, this place is wonderful only due to its view and drinks. The service is mediocre as they don’t attend to you much.

The wagyu sliders were over cooked and the bun is a little hard, the tacos tasted good but is quite a small size for the price, fries and chicken was also decent and good portion

One of the places we like catching up amongst friends. The view is of course fantastic but it's also worth going to because of the atmosphere, the friendly service and delicious food!

The highlight of our visit to Sydney was watching sunset at Bar 83. Our amazing waitress, Julieta, from Buenos Aires and our wonderful waiter, Andrea, from Bologna, Italy were fantastic! They were patient with us first time foreign visitors and helped us choose the best food and drink options for our tastes. Julieta even took a great video of us at sunset. It was a memory we will cherish forever, not just because of the incredible view, and delicious food, but because we were treated with kindness and respect and made to feel special. Thank you Julieta and Andrea for making our experience sooooooo special!
